Abstract

Peningkatan minat masyarakat terhadap hafalan Qur’an, telah memunculkan ide-ide baru terutama dalam membantu masyarakat meningkatkan hafalannya dalam waktu yang singkat. Salah satu pendekatan alternatif tersebut adalah pemanfaatan teknologi yang tepat dan akurat dalam mengevaluasi setiap hafalan dari peserta hafalan Qur’an. Konsep sistem yang dibagun hanya berperan sebagai pengujian hafalan awal, sebelum para peserta menampilkan hafalannya di hadapan para guru. Sistem dibangun dengan seramah mungkin agar masyarakat awam mampu dan mudah menggunakannya, Setelah dilakukan pengujian sistem terhadap para peserta hafalan, diperoleh adanya peningkatan minat dan percepatan masyarakat peserta penghafal Qur’an dalam menyelsaikan hafalannya. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata 50% dari total peserta berhasil menyelesaikan hafalan dan dianggap layak oleh sistem setelah pengujian pertama, dan 50% sisa peserta berhasil menyelesaikan hafalannya dan telah dianggap layak oleh sistem setelah pengujian kedua. Abstract

Advances in information technology have increased the public’s need for systems capable of providing information quickly and easily, including in searching for Islamic boarding schools. This study developed a web-based Geographic Information System (GIS) to recommend Islamic boarding schools in North Aceh and Lhokseumawe using the Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) method and the A-Star algorithm. The SMART method determines rankings based on four criteria: location, accreditation, number of students, and type of boarding school through weighting, min-max normalization, and utility calculation. A-Star is applied to find the shortest route using the Haversine formula. The dataset consists of 361 verified boarding schools from the Dayah Education Office. Black box testing confirms all system functions are valid. Results show Dayah Darul Yaqin achieved the highest SMART score of 81.44 with a distance of 0.3 km, followed by Imam Syafi’i with 80.66 and 0.88 km, demonstrating that the SMART-A-Star integration produces objective and efficient recommendations.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a system for selecting outstanding students at MIN 1 Labuhanbatu Utara using the Naive Bayes method as a classification technique. The data used consists of 252 student records as training data and 52 records as test data. The testing results show that the system can perform classification with 100% accuracy, where all test data were correctly predicted. This proves that the Naive Bayes method is highly effective and reliable in the process of selecting outstanding students within the school environment. Furthermore, the implementation of this system facilitates and accelerates the assessment and decision-making process without compromising the accuracy and precision of the results. Thus, this system is expected to assist the school in managing and determining outstanding students more efficiently and accurately.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a web-based interactive educational game designed specifically to help students understand the subject of Sirah Nabawiyah in a more engaging and adaptive way. In its development, the system adopts a fuzzy logic approach as an adaptive method that allows the adjustment of question difficulty levels based on each user’s ability. The system utilizes parameters such as score, response speed, and answer accuracy, which are processed to classify users into three ability categories: Advanced, Intermediate, or Beginner. The development process follows the waterfall methodology through the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. Black box testing results indicate that all features function properly and the system is capable of delivering accurate adaptive responses. Furthermore, trials conducted with 30 elementary school students showed a 28% improvement in material comprehension, based on a comparison between pre-test and post-test results before and after using the educational game. Thus, the implementation of fuzzy logic in this educational game provides a tangible contribution to technological innovation in Islamic education, particularly in delivering religious content in a digital and enjoyable manner for elementary students.

Abstract

Stunting is a public health problem that has a serious impact on children's growth and development, particularly during the first 1,000 days of life. This study aims to implement the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) algorithm to classify stunting status in toddlers and to develop a web-based system to support early detection at the Muara Satu Public Health Center. The dataset consists of 558 entries, including age at measurement, birth weight, birth height, current weight, current height, and upper arm circumference. Data normalization was performed using the Min-Max method to standardize feature scales. The classification process applied the Euclidean distance metric and determined the class based on the majority of the three nearest neighbors (k=3). The choice of k was based on preliminary testing, but further optimization is suggested for future research. The developed system allows healthcare workers to input toddler data and automatically obtain classification results as either “Normal” or “Indicated Stunting.” Experimental results show an accuracy of 89.42%, although potential false positives and false negatives remain to be further analyzed. This study is limited to data from a single health center, thus model generalization requires validation with multi-center datasets and larger sample sizes. The integration of machine learning into health information systems has proven to improve the efficiency and accuracy of community nutrition services, and future work is recommended to explore other algorithms such as ensemble learning to further enhance performance.

Abstract

Dalam dunia perhotelan, sistem informasi mempunyai peran yang cukup penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan yang ada pada hotel itu sendiri. Salah satu peran yang dimiliki sistem informasi dalam dunia perhotelan adalah sistem reservasi kamar hotel. Dalam dunia perhotelan terdapat istilah reservasi yaitu pemesanan kamar oleh konsumen. Selama ini Hotel Darussalam menerima reservasi via telepon, fax atau konsumen mendatangi langsung hotel tersebut. Pencatatan data yang dilakukan oleh karyawan masih manual. Sistem ini dibangun untuk memudahkan konsumen atau tamu dalam melakukan reservasi, memudahkan pegawai dalam pencatatan dan pengolahan data serta pembuatan laporan dan membantu publikasi Hotel Darussalam Medan dengan skala yang lebih luas. Sistem yang dibangun menggunakan Java Netbeans.

Abstract

Arabic has a complex morphological system, particularly in the formation of fi’il (verbs), which in sharaf are classified into fi’il mujarrad and fi’il mazid. Fi’il mujarrad refers to basic verbs without additional letters, while fi’il mazid involves added letters that form specific wazan (patterns). The main problem addressed in this study is the similarity of morphological patterns between fi’il and non-fi’il, which affects classification accuracy. This study aims to identify fi’il in Surah Al-Baqarah and classify them into mujarrad and mazid, along with their wazan patterns, automatically using a rule-based pattern matching approach. The method applies rules based on Arabic morphological patterns, such as fi’il mudhari’ prefixes, word length, and the presence of additional letters in accordance with sharaf principles.The data consist of Qur’anic text processed through preprocessing stages, including load data and tokenization. The system detected 916 candidate fi’il, of which 468 data points were used for evaluation by comparison with manual annotations using a confusion matrix.The results show that the system achieved an accuracy of 75% for fi’il type classification, with precision, recall, and F1-score of 0.77, 0.75, and 0.75, respectively. For wazan classification, the system achieved an accuracy of 69.23%, with weighted average precision of 0.66, recall of 0.69, and F1-score of 0.65. These findings indicate that the rule-based approach is sufficiently effective in detecting fi’il mujarrad and mazid, although performance for certain wazan patterns remains limited due to structural similarities. Therefore, further development of more specific rules and integration with machine learning methods are recommended to improve system accuracy.
