Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 telah merubah hampir semua bidang kehidupan masyarakat tidak terkecuali bidang pendidikan. Namun layaknya bidang lainnya, pendidikan segera berbenah dan menata diri menuju sebuah ekosistem bernama ekosistem digital. Sebagai sebuah aplikasi, Edmodo bisa menjadi sebuah pilihan untuk membantu mewujudkan hal tersebut. Tujuan dari tulisan dan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan gambaran bagaimana Edmodo dapat membantu proses belajar mengajar ditengah kondisi pandemi ini. Kegiatan ini berupa penyuluhan yang dilakukan pada guru di SMK Negeri Batu Marta, Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) menggunakan liflet, infokus dan spiker. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah pengetahuan dan aplikasi 15 guru (75%) tentang penggunaan aplikasi Edmodo menunjukkan baik. Pengetahuan yang baik. Pengetahuan aplikasi yang baik diharapkan dapat membantu para guru memberikan pengajaran yang optimal ditengah pandemi

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain a deep understanding of the external elements of discourse in the virus outbreak themed film. The film with the theme of the virus outbreak which was used as the object of research was entitled Contagion. This qualitative descriptive research uses discourse analysis method with qualitative content analysis. Collecting data using documentation techniques through literature study. The steps used in analyzing the external elements of discourse in the virus epidemic-themed film are as follows: 1) watching the film entitled The Contagion carefully and repeatedly in order to understand its content and meaning, then making a synopsis of the film, 2) recording quotations - text quotes, 3) analyzing the external elements of discourse in the citation of the film text, 4) discussing and interpreting the research results obtained, 5) formulating and drawing conclusions, and 6) compiling research reports. The validity of research data by means of member checks, accuracy, and adequacy of theories related to the object of research. The results show that the external elements that build discourse in the film The Contagion, which have 12 implicatures with details of 11 data are conversational implicatures or it can be said that conventional implicatures and 1 non-conventional implicature data, namely implications that must draw conclusions based on certain phenomena or situations, then there are 5 presupposition data are included in the factive type, 1 existential data, 5 counterfactual data and 2 non-factive data, then in the context 9 physical context data and 4 socio-psychological context data are found.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the language acquisition of autistic children who attended Bina Autism Mandiri (BAM) Palembang. The specific target was to obtain information about an autistic child's language acquisition. The study participant was nine years old when the study was conducted. The research used a descriptive qualitative approach because the analyzed data and results were described in words. The data were obtained based on the speech or language of the autistic child through the employment of proficient and listening methods. The analysis was carried out in three stages; the data reduction stage, the data presentation stage, and the inference stage. Research showed that the study participant could pronounce well. However, the meaning of the words this student wanted to say independently was still limited. This student often repeated the imperative types of speech. This type of narrow imperative appeared only in the categories of requests and prohibitions. The acquisition of the R language, especially the linguistic aspect included in the light group, was still limited. This condition happens because the psychological condition of the student was usually in an uncomfortable state. Painful psychological conditions, for example, being upset and angry, can trigger R to take physical action in the form of beatings and the spoken vocabulary becomes unclear. It can be inferred that the language acquisition of children with autism is much different from that of normal children.

Abstract

This study discusses the principle of politeness and conversational implicatures in The Sultan program on the March 2021 edition of SCTV television station (pragmatic approach). The problem in this research is how are the principles of politeness and conversational implicatures in the program The Sultan on the March 2021 edition of SCTV television station (pragmatic approach). The purpose of this study is to find out how the principle of politeness and conversational implicatures in the program The Sultan on the March 2021 edition of SCTV television station (pragmatic approach). The method used in this research is the postpositivism paradigm method to develop qualitative research methods. The source of the data in this research is the program The Sultan which is on the SCTV television station. Data collection techniques used are listening techniques and note-taking techniques. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that the most common in the politeness principle are 13 maxims of compatibility, while in conversational implicatures there are 13 scaled implicatures.

Abstract

Abstrak Memiliki kemampuan berbicara di depan khalayak bukanlah hal yang mudah, butuh keberanian dan kemampuan di dalam praktiknya. Bagaimanakah pemahaman siswa terhadap jenis-jenis pewara agar dalam berbagai acara? dan bagaimanakah meningkatkan keterampilan siswa dalam berbicara di depan khalayak? Tujuan PKM ini yaitu para dosen dapat menerapkan dan mengembangkan kemampuan akademik yang dimilikinya, selain itu setelah mengikuti pelatihan ini para siswa diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara di depan umum atau Pewara. Metode dalam workshop ini yaitu ceramah dan praktik. Ceramah disini merupakan penyampaian teori-teori mengenai berbicara khususnya pembawa acara. Setelah teori diberikan kepada siswa kegiatan selanjutnya adalah praktik membawakan acara yang dipandu oleh para dosen Bahasa Indonesia Universitas PGRI Palembang. Metode ini dianggap efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara atau membawakan acara. Workshop pembawa acara di SMAN 1 SP Padang OKI telah dilaksanakan dengan cara siswa satu persatu praktik menjadi pembawa acara di depan rekan-rekannya dan pembimbingan oleh para dosen Bahasa Indonesia. Kata kunci: Pewara, PKM, berbicara Having the ability to speak in front of audience is not easy, it takes courage and skill in practice. How do students understand the types of MCs in various events? And how to improve students' skills in public speaking? The purpose of this PKM is that lecturers can apply and develop their academic abilities, besides that after participating in this training students are expected to improve their speaking skills in public or Pewara. The methods in this workshop are lectures and practice. The lecture here is the delivery of theories about speaking, especially the presenter. After the theory was given to students, the next activity was the practice of hosting an event which was hosted by Indonesian language lecturers at the PGRI Palembang University. This method is considered effective in improving speaking or hosting skills. The host workshop at SMAN 1 SP Padang OKI has been carried out by way of students one by one practicing to host events in front of their peers and mentoring by Indonesian language lecturers. Abstract

Pelatihan penulisan penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam menulis karya ilmiah di lingkungan SMA Negeri 1 Pemulutan Barat, Kabupaten Ogan Ilir, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah metode ceramah digunakan untuk memberikan penjelasan materi yang akan disampaikan; metode tanya jawab digunakan untuk menggali pemahaman guru terhadap materi yang akan diberikan; workshop digunakan untuk melatih dan membimbing guru dalam pembuatan karya tulis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Setelah dilaksanakan pelatihan penelitian tindakan kelas, para guru dapat membuat proposal dan melanjutkannya ke dalam bentuk tulisan artikel ilmiah. Selain itu, diharapkan melalui pelatihan penelitian tindakan kelas ini mampu memberikan kontribusi bagi peningkatan mutu pendidikan.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain an in-depth understanding of ideology in the Pepsodent community service ad text in Kompas Newspaper. The research approach is qualitative with critical discourse analysis techniques using Norman Fairclough's critical discourse analysis theory method that combines three dimensions in communication events, namely texts, discourse practices, and socio-cultural practices. Data sources were public service advertisements made by Pepsodent and published in Kompas 2016 Newspaper. The findings of the study showed that there was an attempt to hide the ideology behind the discourse so that the reader did not feel that through the advertisement there was an ideology that was tried to be conveyed by the advertiser through the discourse text. Ideology in the practice of discourse describes factors that influence the production of text, namely, loading or not loading, routine media, and urgency, choosing, and sorting and influencing the views of readers; and the ideology in the consumption of text is the influence of consumption, which is consuming outside information, integrating digital media, following the media agenda, consuming media content according to needs, and relying on mass media information. Ideology in socio-cultural practices illustrates how public service advertisements about dental health are so close to health conditions in Indonesia. In fact, actually the ideology of the company that produces Pepsodent, Unilever is for business purposes.

Abstract--- Multicultural education is an education based on the principles and principles of multiculturalism that is the concept of diversity that recognizes, accepts and affirms human differences and equations associated with gender, race and class, religion based on values and democratic understanding that builds cultural pluralism in the fight against prejudice and discrimination. Abstract

This study aims to obtain an overview and deep understanding of the role of women in society, especially the stereotypes of women in the novel Perempuan Berkalung Sorban and Geni Jora by Abidah El Khalieqy. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Primary data sources in this study are novels by Abidah El Khalieqy including: Women Berkalung Sorban (2001) and Geni Jora (2004). Data collection techniques are in the form of document searches. In this case, the form of awareness and flow of feminist thought contained in Indonesian literary texts is understood to mean the use of feminism studies. The data analysis procedure used in this study is content analysis.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan dimensi gender dalam novel Gadis Pantai karya Pramoedya Ananta Toer melalui tokoh Gadis Pantai. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik dokumentasi. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah novel Gadis Pantai karya Pramoedya Ananta Toer yang terbit pada pada September 2011 cetakan ke tujuh yang diterbitkan oleh Lentera Dipantara dengan tebal 270 halaman. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis karya. Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa dari analisis dimensi gender melalui analisis kedudukan tokoh perempuan yaitu Gadis Pantai (Mas Nganten) ditemukan  Mas Nganten memiliki sifat lemah atau inferior, yaitu lebih rendah dari laki-laki, ia merelakan dirinya hanya menjadi abdi suami, dan menjalankan perintah tentang apa yang boleh dan tidak boleh dikerjakan tanpa izin suami. Sedangkan melalui analisis kedudukan Bendoro, ditemukan bahwa Bendoro adalah seorang pembesar yang berkuasa. Meskipun ia dengan Mas Nganten dalam ikatan suami istri, ia tetap berkedudukan lebih tinggi dari Mas Nganten. Ia merupakan pemilik diri Mas Nganten yang berhak memberi peraturan tentang apa yang boleh Mas Nganten lakukan. Berdasarkan sikapnya, penulis menggambarkan kehadiran tokoh perempuan memiliki sifat lemah.
