Abstract

The Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DGCE) has substantial human resources. Based on data as of 1 December 2022, the number of DGCE employees is 16,149 people and were spread across 20 regional offices and 3 main service offices throughout the territory of the Republic of Indonesia. Based on employee profiling data conducted in March 2023, 72% of these employees are employees who have home bases in Java. By considering various aspects DGCE carries out job rotation process and career development for these employees. This study aims to analyse the effect of job rotation, compensation, and career development on turnover intention with job satisfaction as an intervening variable at the DGCE. This research is based on several previous studies which show that job satisfaction can influence the relationship between job rotation, career development, and turnover intention. The research method used is quantitative research using a survey (questionnaire) as a data collection instrument. Respondents in this study were employees at the DGCE who were spread throughout the territory of the Republic of Indonesia with positions from general inspector to supervisor and functionally equivalent. The research sample was taken as many as 3.813 respondents. The collected data will be analysed using the validity test, reliability test, and Sobel test. The results of this study are expected to provide an overview of the effect of job rotation and career development on turnover intention with job satisfaction as an intervening variable at the DGCE.

Abstract

Background: Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a disease caused by a virus that is transmitted by female mosquitoes, especially from the Ae. aegypti species. Knowledge and attitude factors are factors that influence the prevention of DHF. Purpose: To find out the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of the community in preventing DHF and the relationship between knowledge and attitudes, knowledge and practice, and attitude and practice. Methods: This study used a cross-sectional design. The research location was Kelurahan 30 Ilir, Palembang City which consists of RT.11 and RT.16. The population in this study was housewives with a sample of 95 respondents using a purposive sampling technique. The data were collected by interview using a questionnaire. Results: The results of statistical analysis showed that there was a relationship between knowledge and practice in DHF prevention measures (p-value = 0.006), there was no relationship between knowledge and attitudes in DHF prevention measures (p = 0.480), attitudes and practice in DHF prevention measures (p = 0.723). Providing education to the community is important to do as an effort to increase DHF prevention behavior. Conclusion: DHF prevention behavior comprising the aspects of knowledge, attitudes, and practices was good and there was a significant relationship between knowledge and DHF prevention measures.

Abstract

Pembelajaran digital memberikan berbagai manfaat kepada siswa, mulai dari kemudahan mengakses materi hingga pemberian tugas dan kuis. Namun, penggunaan pembelajaran digital ini dipengaruhi oleh keputusan seorang guru untuk menggunakannya. Oleh karena itu, faktor ini menjadi penghambat dalam transformasi pembelajaran digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kompetensi digital guru di SMKN 1 Kab. Sekadau Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kesadaran guru mata pelajaran kejuruan SMK di Sekadau dalam menggunakan pembelajaran digital. Metode yang dilakukan dengan menganalisis 6 aspek dari Teacher Digital Competence Belief (TDCB). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan kuesioner kepada 25 guru mata pelajaran kejuruan di SMK di Kabupaten Sekadau. Hasilnya menunjukan bahwa rata-rata dari 6 aspek TCBD memiliki skor 71,28 yang berada dalam kategori baik. Penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa guru SMK di Kabupaten Sekadau sudah menilai bahwa penggunaan teknologi digital adalah hal yang penting untuk peningkatan pembelajaran.

Abstract

Islam is a source of values and ethics that provide guidance for its adherents, including in the discourse of trade. This research focuses on analyzing the ethics of trade in the verses of the Qur'an by referring to the interpretation of Wahbah Az-Zuhaili in Tafsir al-Munir. The purpose of this study is to find out how the ethics of trade in the Qur'an, so that Muslims are expected to carry out trade in a way that supports welfare and avoids unethical practices in the world of trade. The research method used is qualitative with the type of literature. While the data analysis technique used is descriptive-analytical with thematic interpretation method. The results show that trade in the Qur'an has two meanings, namely human trade with God and human trade with humans. There are five basic principles in trading with fellow humans, namely the principles of unity, balance, free will, responsibility, truth (virtue and honesty). In az-Zuhaili's interpretation, he relates to the laws of muamalah fiqh where one must have guidelines for behavior in trade affairs in Islam, namely morals and ethics, validity of transactions, justice and equality, prohibition of usury, ownership and management of property, transparency and disclosure, and contracts and agreements. This article contributes in a practical way to the daily life of commerce, especially in relation to trade where Muslims are required to comply with the guidelines set out in the Qur'an.

Abstract

The Qur'an, as the holy book of Islam, provides comprehensive guidance for life, including teachings that encourage optimism and prohibit despair in the face of life's trials. However, a deep understanding of these messages requires the aid of tafsir (Qur'anic exegesis). This study aims to examine the interpretation of verses related to optimism and the prohibition of despair in Tafsir Al-Azhar by Buya Hamka. The research employs a library method with a thematic approach. The analysis focuses on selected verses such as QS. Ali Imran: 139, QS. Yusuf: 87, QS. Az-Zumar: 53, QS. Al-Anbiya’: 90, and QS. Ash-Shu’ara: 62. The findings indicate that Buya Hamka emphasizes the importance of faith, positive thinking (husnuzhan), and trust in God (tawakkal) as foundations for developing an optimistic attitude. He also asserts that despair reflects a weakness of faith and can negatively affect both individual and social life. This study concludes that Tafsir Al-Azhar not only conveys theological messages but also offers psychological and moral motivation that is relevant to contemporary issues such as depression and suicide caused by life pressures. Therefore, Buya Hamka’s humanistic approach to tafsir is a valuable reference for strengthening the mental resilience of society, fostering patience, and instilling hope in facing life's challenges. Scientifically, this study contributes to the development of thematic Qur'anic exegesis by integrating theological and psychological aspects, as well as humanistic values in a modern context

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of organizational culture, job satisfaction, and leadership style on employee performance, with organizational commitment as a mediating variable at PT. Smart Elang Felindo. Motivated by the company’s need to enhance employee performance, the research emphasizes strengthening organizational commitment as a key strategy. Using a quantitative method and Structural Equation Modeling with SmartPLS, data were collected from 92 employees with at least three years of service, selected through proportionate stratified random sampling. Questionnaires assessed organizational culture, job satisfaction, leadership style, commitment, and performance, with performance evaluations completed by branch heads to ensure objectivity. The findings reveal that organizational culture, job satisfaction, and leadership style significantly and positively influence organizational commitment, which in turn significantly affects employee performance. Furthermore, these three variables also indirectly impact performance through organizational commitment. The study highlights the strategic role of commitment in translating internal organizational factors into improved employee outcomes. By involving experienced employees and using 18 measurement indicators, the study offers practical recommendations for human resource management to enhance sustainable performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi implementasi kurikulum berbasis growth mindset dalam meningkatkan resiliensi akademik siswa di SMP IT Al Azhar 23 Kendal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi.Informan dalam penelitian ini meliputi kepala sekolah, wakil kepala kurikulum, guru mata pelajaran, guru BK, wali kelas, siswa, dan orang tua siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi implementasi meliputi penguatan visi dan misi sekolah, pelatihan guru, pengembangan metode pembelajaran yang menekankan proses belajar, serta evaluasi yang berorientasi pada perkembangan siswa. Lingkungan belajar yang suportif dan kolaboratif berperan penting dalam membangun kepercayaan diri dan ketangguhan siswa. Tantangan yang dihadapi meliputi keterbatasan pemahaman sebagian guru dan orang tua, serta resistensi awal siswa terhadap perubahan mindset. Untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut, sekolah mengembangkan program pelatihan berkelanjutan dan kolaborasi aktif dengan orang tua. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan kurikulum berbasis growth mindset efektif dalam meningkatkan resiliensi akademik siswa dan dapat menjadi model pengembangan kurikulum di sekolah lain.Rekomendasi bagi pengembangan kurikulum ke depan meliputi penguatan pelatihan guru, peningkatan keterlibatan orang tua, serta pengembangan evaluasi berbasis proses.

Abstract

Artikel ini menggali peran sentral Pancasila dalam membentuk fondasi yang kokoh bagi suatu negara. Pancasila, sebagai landasan filosofis negara Indonesia, memainkan peran kunci dalam membimbing negara menuju harmoni, persatuan, dan kemakmuran. Penelitian ini menelusuri konteks sejarah, menyoroti signifikansi Pancasila dalam proses pembangunan bangsa. Tujuan penelitian mencakup pemahaman bagaimana Pancasila berkontribusi pada nilai-nilai demokrasi, keadilan sosial, dan keragaman budaya. Secara metodologis, penelitian ini menggunakan tinjauan literatur yang komprehensif dan analisis peristiwa sejarah kunci. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa Pancasila berfungsi sebagai kompas bagi tata kelola yang etis, mendorong inklusivitas dan ketahanan nasional. Implikasi dari fondasi Pancasila yang kuat sangat luas, mempromosikan pembangunan berkelanjutan, kohesi sosial, dan kolaborasi internasional. Penelitian ini menegaskan relevansi yang berkelanjutan dan kontribusi praktis Pancasila dalam membentuk lanskap nasional yang harmonis dan sejahtera.

Abstract

Sarana dan prasarana olahraga memiliki peran krusial dalam menunjang efektivitas pembelajaran PJOK di sekolah. Sarana olahraga seperti bola, raket, net, matras, dan alat-alat lainnya yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran praktik olahraga. Sementara itu, prasarana olahraga meliputi lapangan, ruang olahraga, dan fasilitas pendukung lainnya. Namun pada kenyataan yang ada sebagian sarana memiliki keterbatasan dalam jumlah dan kualitas alat olahraga yang tersedia di SMP Negeri Kecamatan Bangun Purba Kabupaten Rokan Hulu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mensurvei sarana dan prasarana olahraga di SMP Negeri Kecamatan Bangun Purba Kabupaten Rokan Hulu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan instrument yang digunakan adalah angket dengan skala likert serta wawancara guru/kepala sekolah SMP Negeri Kecamatan Bangun Purba Kabupaten Rokan Hulu. Populasi pada penelitian ini berjumlah 423 orang. Teknik sampling yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling, dalam penelitian ini akan diambil pada siswa kelas 8 di SMP Negeri bangun Purba yaitu sebanyak 125 Orang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, diketahui bahwa kondisi sarana dan prasarana olahraga di SMP Negeri 1, 2, dan 3 Kecamatan Bangun Purba Kabupaten Rokan Hulu tergolong dalam kategori "Baik". Hal ini dibuktikan melalui skor rata-rata hasil angket yang mencapai 72,09%, berada dalam rentang kategori 61-80%
