Abstract

Ekosistem tumbuhan mangrove merupakan tumbuhan yang membentuk komunitas di daerah yang terkena aktivitas pasang surut, tumbuhan mangrove juga bagian dari ekosistem pesisir dengan ciri khasnya yang unik dan memiliki berbagai macam potensi. Vegetasi hutan mangrove di kawasan Indonesia mempunyai keanekaragaman jenis yang tinggi, dengan jumlah jenis sebanyak 202. Jenis mangrove tersebut meliputi 89 jenis pohon, 5 jenis palem, 14 jenis liana, 44 spesies epifit dan 1 jenis sikas. Pentingnya peranan ekosistem mangrove menjadikan acuan dilakukannya penelitian dengan tujuan mengetahui struktur komunitas dan indeks keanekaragaman, indeks keseragaman, dan indeks dominansi mangrove di kawasan Ekowista Mangrove Lembung, Kecamatan Galis, Kabupaten Pamekasan. Penelitian dilakukan pada 25 September 2021 sampai 10 Oktober 2021. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode transek dengan zona stratifikasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisa dengan cara menghitung Kerapatan jenis (Ki), Kerapatan relatif jenis (RDi), Frekuensi jenis (Fi), Frekuensi relatif (RFi), Penutupan jenis (Ci), Penutupan relatif (RCi) Serta Indeks nilai penting (INP). INP tertinggi tingkat pohon terdapat pada mangrove jenis Rhizophora mucronata dengan nilai 132,52%, tingkat pancang terdapat pada mangrove jenis Rhizophora mucronata dengan nilai 100%, tingkat semai terdapat pada mangrove jenis Rhizophora mucronata dengan nilai 106,52%. Hasil analisis menunjukkan INP tertinggi tingkat pohon, pancang dan semai terdapat pada mangrove jenis Rhizophora mucronata. Indeks keanekaragaman rendah pada stasiun I (1,00) dan sedang pada stasiun II (1,32) dan III (1,25), Indeks keseragaman sedang pada stasiun I (0,72) dan tinggi pada stasiun II (0,95) dan III (0,90), dan Indeks dominansi rendah pada setiap stasiun yaitu stasiun I (0,39), stasiun II (0,28) dan stasiun III (0,33).

Abstract

ABSTRAKEkowisata bahari adalah jenis kegiatan wisata bahari yang berada di wilayah pesisir, di permukaan laut, dan di bawah laut. Ekowisata pantai merupakan kegiatan wisata yang dilakukan dengan obyek utama berupa pantai. Kegiatan yang dapat dilakukan di pantai umumnya adalah bersantai, bermain air atau berenang di pantai serta menikmati pemandangan dan panorama alam di pantai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai Indeks Kesesuaian Wisata (IKW), Daya Dukung Kawasan (DDK) Pantai Jumiang di Desa Tanjung Kecamatan Pademawu Kabupaten Pamekasan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Hasil kajian IKW pantai Jumiang adalah 83,33%. Nilai Daya Dukung Kawasan (DDK) Pantai Jumiang adalah 1256 orang per hari. This study aims to determine the value of the Tourism Suitability Index (IKW), Regional Carrying Capacity (DDK) of Jumiang beach in Tanjung Village, Pademawu District, Pamekasan Regency. This research is a qualitative method. The results of the Jumiang beach IKW study were 83.33% (according to). The Regional Carrying Capacity (DDK) value of Jumiang beach is 1256 people per day. The value of the Utilization Carrying Capacity (DDP) of Jumiang Beach is 126 people per day. Abstract

Pacitan Bay is one of the semi-enclosed waters on East Java's south coast. This area is well-known for having a large fishing port as well as a beach tourism area. The dynamics of Pacitan Bay's waters due to the influence of currents, waves, and the input of water masses from the mainland are thought to affect the characteristics of the waters' bottom sediments. The objective of this study was to map the characteristics of bottom sediments and the distribution of organic substance. This research also analyzed the relationship between sediment characteristics and the concentration of organic subtance in the sediment. The sediment's characteristics were determined using granulometric analysis, and the organic matter content was determined using the Loss of Ignition (LOI) method. The analysis results show that sandy substrates dominate the bottom sediments of Pacitan Bay by an average of 82.22%. The distribution of sandy substrate dominates the bay's north and west. Distance from the shoreline has a significant effect on organic subtance distribution (One Way ANOVA, F = 6.05; p 0.05). The organic matter content of sediments dominated by sand is lower (R2 = 0.76) compared to substrates with softer grain size (silt or mud) and tighter pores, making organic matter efficient to precipitate.

Abstract

Ecotourism is one of the ecological-based tourism activities, one of which is mangrove ecotourism.  Martajasah is one of the mangrove ecotourism areas that have a high potential to be developed because it is adjacent to religious and culinary tourism.  The purpose of this study is to determine the profile of tourists and to determine the development strategy of Martajasah Mangrove Ecotourism, Bangkalan Regency. The analytical method used in this study is Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). This analysis relates the level of importance of an attribute owned by a particular object with the reality (performance) felt by tourists. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the majority of Martajasah Mangrove Ecotourism tourists come from Bangkalan Regency, male with student status, with an average age of 16-25 years. The biggest motivation for tourists to visit Martajasah Mangrove Ecotourism is for recreation. The development strategy of Martajasah Mangrove Ecotourism is to improve the quality and quantity of white sand, increase the length of the beach, increase the availability of travel agents to make it easier for tourists to go to Martajasah Mangrove Ecotourism and increase the number of facilities and infrastructure at the Martajasah Mangrove Ecotourism location.

Abstract

Limbah cair pabrik kertas menurunkan kualitas air sungai brantas. Bahan baku plastik pada proses produksi akan terfragmentasi menjadi mikroplastik. Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisa bentuk, warna, dan kelimpahan mikroplastik pada outlet limbah pabrik kertas di hilir Sungai Brantas. Penentuan lokasi dengan metode purposive sampling. Pengambilan sampel air di empat lokasi pabrik kertas menggunakan mistic scan dan filter stainless sebanyak 100 L. Sampel yang telah didapatkan kemudian dipreparasi menggunakan H2O2 20 ml dan Fe2SO4 5 tetes. Kelimpahan mikroplastik pada outlet limbah PT. Adiprima Suraprinta sebanyak 10,75 partikel/liter, sedangkan terendah pada sebelum outlet PT. Dayasa Aria Prima 1,78 partikel/liter. Bentuk pada sampel ini tertinggi yakni filamen 49%, fragmen 27%, dan fiber dengan 24%. 97% air di Kali Surabaya sebagai bahan baku PDAM Surya Sembada. Pemerintah harus lebih tegas dan menindak industri yang membuang limbahnya langsung kesungai.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPelabuhan Perikanan Pantai (PPP) Pasongsongan merupakan pelabuhan yang menjadi tempat kegiatan tambat labuh kapal perikanan bagi masyarakat sekitar Pasongsongan, Kabupaten Sumenep. Jenis alat tangkap yang digunakan oleh nelayan di sekitar Pasongsongan pada umumnya adalah pukat cincin (purse seine). Wilayah perairan Kecamatan Pasongsongan merupakan wilayah perairan laut jawa yang memiliki potensi sumberdaya perikanan yang di dominasi oleh ikan-ikan pelagis kecil dan ikan-ikan pelagis besar. Penggunaan metode “pocokan” dan “oncoran” oleh nelayan di daerah Pasongsongan berdampak pada hasil tangkapan. Peneliti tertarik untuk mengetahui perbandingan hasil tangkapan ikan pada kapal purse seine menggunakan metode “pocokan” dan “oncoran”. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data primer dan data sekunder. Pelabuhan Perikanan Pantai (PPP) Pasongsongan menjadi pelabuhan terbesar di pulau Madura dengan potensi perikanan yang melimpah.Kata kunci: Purse Seine, Pocokan dan Oncoran, PPP PasongsonganABSTRACTPasongsongan Coastal Fishing Port (PPP) is a port that is a place for mooring activities for fishing vessels for the community around Pasongsongan, Sumenep Regency. The type of fishing gear used by fishermen around Pasongsongan is generally a ring trawl (purse seine). The water area of Pasongsongan District is a Java Sea water area that has the potential for fishery resources dominated by small pelagic fish and large pelagic fish. The use of "pocokan” and “oncoran" methods by fishermen in the Pasongsongan area has an impact on catches. Researchers are interested in knowing the comparison of fish catches on purse seine vessels using the "pocokan" and “oncoran" methods.  This research is aqualitative descriptive research with primary data collection and secondary data. Abstract

AbstrakLatar belakang analisa ini, berbagai jenis penyakit yang dipicu oleh bakteri dan fungi telah banyak menyebar luas terutama di Negara berkembang seperti Indonesia. Penggunaan antibiotik berbahan sintetik seperti ampisilin, kotrimoksasol dan tetrasiklin secara intens dapat menyebabkan kecenderungan terjadinya resistensi galur bakteri patogen. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kandungan iodium yang terdapat Rumput laut (Eucheuma spinosum) serta efektivitas iodium rumput laut terhadap pertumbuhan bakteri Escherichia coli. Metode yang digunakan Titrasi untuk mengetahui kandungan iodium dalam 50 g sampel dengan pelarut Chloroform (CHCl3) dan Disc Diffusion Test ntuk mengetahui peranannya sebagai antibakteri Escherichia coli. Hasil analisa diketahui semakin tinggi kadar iodin atau iodium maka daya hambat bakteri Escherichia coli semakin besar dalam 10  ekstrak. Hasil kadar iodium pada ekstrak Eucheuma spinosum berada pada kisaran 0,38% hingga 1,22%, sedangkan pada Yodor vex (disinfektan hasil pabrik) yang sebagai kontrol positif sebesar 0,38%, dengan menghasilkan diameter zona hambat yang tinggi.Kata kunci: Eucheuma spinosum, Escherichia coli, Antibakteri, Daya hambat.AbstractThe background of this analysis, various types of diseases triggered by bacteria and fungi have spread widely, especially in developing countries like Indonesia. The intense use of synthetic antibiotics such as ampicillin, co-trimoxazole and tetracyclines can lead to a tendency for resistance to pathogenic bacteria. The purpose of this study was to determine the iodine content in seaweed (Eucheuma spinosum) and the effectiveness of seaweed iodine on the growth of Escherichia coli bacteria. The method used is Titration to determine the iodine content in 50 g of sample with Chloroform (CHCl3) solvent and Disc Diffusion Test to determine its role as an antibacterial Escherichia coli. The results of the analysis show that the higher the level of iodine or iodine, the greater the inhibition of Escherichia coli bacteria in 10µl of extract. The yield of crude extract of Eucheuma spinosum was 21% + 53%, while the iodine content was known by different treatments of 0.38% + 1.22%. The content of iodine levels in Eucheuma spinosum seaweed is an effective indicator as an antibacterial for Escherichia coli.Keywords: Eucheuma spinosum, Escherichia coli, Antibacterial, Inhibition.

Abstract

ABSTRAKMakrozoobenthos merupakan salah satu biota yang hidup di ekosistem mangrove, makrozoobenthos berperan untuk membantu mempercepat proses dekomposisi dan mineralisasi materi organik. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui tentang struktur komunitas dan kelimpahan makrozoobenthos di ekowisata mangrove lembung, kecamatan galis, kabupaten pamekasan sehingga diperoleh informasi dan data base dalam pengelolaan yang bekelanjutan. Lokasi penelitian pada ekosistem mangrove di Desa Lembung Kecamatan Galis Kabupaten Pamekasan . Metode penganbilan data menggunakan metode transek dengan analisis datanya menggunakan indeks Shannon-Winner. Nilai tertinggi kelimpahan individu dan relatif adalah spesies Cerithium coralium. indeks ekologi yang didapat menunjukkan kriteria indeks keanekaragaman (H’) sedang, di setiap stasiun, indek keseragaman (E) sedang hingga tinggi dan nilai indeks dominansi (C) rendah, hal ini disebabkan oleh keberadaan biota yang mendominansi daerah Ekowisata Mangrove Lembung sehingga daerah tersebut termasuk pada kriteria stabil.Kata Kunci: Mangrove, Struktur Komunitas, Makrozoobenthos, Desa LembungABSTRACTMakrozoobenthos is one of the biota that lives in mangrove ecosystems, macrozoobenthos plays a role to help accelerate the process of decomposition and mineralization of organic matter. The purpose of the study was to know about the community structure and abundance of macrozoobenthos in lembung mangrove ecotourism, Galis District, Pamekasan Regency so that information and data base are obtained in sustainable management. The location of research on mangrove ecosystems in Lembung Village, Galis District, Pamekasan Regency. The data collection method uses the transect method with data analysis using the Shannon-Winner index. The highest value of individual and relative abundance is the species Cerithium coralium. The ecological index obtained shows the criteria of a moderate diversity index (H'), at each station, medium to high uniformity index (E) and low dominance index (C) value, this is due to the presence of biota that dominates the Lembung Mangrove Ecotourism area so that the area is included in the stable criteria.Keywords: Mangrove, Community Structure, Makrozoobenthos, Lembung Village

Abstract

AbstractIn fish catching activity, the fishermen in Banyuanyar district use mini tools for catching fish (purse seine) and use light assist tools for an operation in the night day. The light, that is used, is kerosene pressure lantern and mercury lights or lamp that is used on water surface (surface lamp). This kind of light is used to collect "pelagic” fish that has positive phototaxis characteristic. Puffer fish's response towards different sourse of light, that's kerosene pressure lantern and mercury light is needed to be known. Therefore, we can know the source of light that is more effective in order to collect the fish. It is hoped that the productivity of puffer fish will be developed for the fishermen. During the research with ten times repeating, the total account of puffer fish's haul that is resulted with two different treatment  by using kerosene pressure lantern and mercury light is that 810 kg and 1.460 kg. The data of puffer fish's haul that is gotten after using MannWhitney test shows that the kerosene pressure lantern and mercury light not to really different, especially in the haul of puffer fish in significant standart (0,05) is 2,262, while in Mann-Whitney test account is 0,171. That means the fishermans in Banyuanyar can use kerosene pressure lantern and mercury light for catching fish as the light assist tools for an operation in the night day.

Abstract

Wastewater from the result of industrial activities such as PT. Perikanan Sejahtera dan PT. Tuban Kretek Maju, with the characteristics of the numbr pf supporting and main parameters that still meet the waste water quality standards. Waste water is processed and treated fisrt before being discharged directly into receiving water bodies so that ut does not have an adverse impact on the aquatic environment. Sampling test samples of wastewater were taken directly from the IPAL outlets of each PT. This study aims to determine the potential for water pollution drom oil and grease content at two PT. different. The research method is observation and active participation method. Determination of potential quality of domestic wastewater in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Enviromental of the Republic of Indonesia No. 5 of 2014. The pH value is determined based on (SNI 6989.11:2019), the temperature value is determined based on (06-6989.23:2005) and the fatty oil value is determined by the gravimetry method according to (SNI 6989.10:2011). The results the research on the pH value of the samples of PT. Perikanan Sejahtera dan PT. Tuban Kretek Maju is 7,80 and 7,67, the temperature value is 31,0 and 32,6. Meanwhile, the values for oil and fat content were 1.850 mg/L and 1.800 mg/LOil and fat figures are not too significant, showing too much difference in the test samples. Waste water from each PT. does not have a large potential to cause pollution of the water environment in the parameters of oil and grease.
