Abstract

Wastewater from the result of industrial activities such as PT. Perikanan Sejahtera dan PT. Tuban Kretek Maju, with the characteristics of the numbr pf supporting and main parameters that still meet the waste water quality standards. Waste water is processed and treated fisrt before being discharged directly into receiving water bodies so that ut does not have an adverse impact on the aquatic environment. Sampling test samples of wastewater were taken directly from the IPAL outlets of each PT. This study aims to determine the potential for water pollution drom oil and grease content at two PT. different. The research method is observation and active participation method. Determination of potential quality of domestic wastewater in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Enviromental of the Republic of Indonesia No. 5 of 2014. The pH value is determined based on (SNI 6989.11:2019), the temperature value is determined based on (06-6989.23:2005) and the fatty oil value is determined by the gravimetry method according to (SNI 6989.10:2011). The results the research on the pH value of the samples of PT. Perikanan Sejahtera dan PT. Tuban Kretek Maju is 7,80 and 7,67, the temperature value is 31,0 and 32,6. Meanwhile, the values for oil and fat content were 1.850 mg/L and 1.800 mg/LOil and fat figures are not too significant, showing too much difference in the test samples. Waste water from each PT. does not have a large potential to cause pollution of the water environment in the parameters of oil and grease.

Abstract

Ikan lele merupakan salah satu jenis ikan air tawar yang memiliki tingkat adaptasi cukup tinggi. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 35 hari pemeliharaan dengan tujuan mengetahui pengaruh pemberian daun kelor segar pada pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup ikan lele strain sangkuriang. Pemberian daun kelor segar sebagai tambahan pakan ditujukan sebagai bahan baku alternatif dikarenakan memiliki kandungan protein yang cukup tinggi sehingga mampu memenuhi pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup ikan. Perlakuan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ada 4 perlakuan dengan 3 ulangan yaitu 100% pelet, 90% pelet+10% daun kelor segar, 85% pelet+15% daun kelor segar, dan perlakuan 80% pelet+20% daun kelor segar. Pemberian daun kelor segar memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap bobot ikan lele sangkuriang dimana nilai tertinggi yaitu pada pemberian 80% pelet+20% daun kelor segar sebesar 6,65±2,42 gram. Pemberian daun kelor segar tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap pertambahan panjang ikan lele sangkuriang. Penambahan panjang paling tinggi yaitu pada perlakuan 85% pelet+15% daun kelor segar yaitu 2,79±0,99 cm. Pemberian daun kelor segar memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap kelangsungan hidup ikan lele sangkuriang. Nilai SR paling tinggi yaitu pada perlakuan 80% pelet+20% daun kelor segar yaitu sebesar 91,36%. Penambahan daun kelor segar memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap nilai FCR ikan lele sangkuriang. Nilai FCR paling rendah yaitu pada perlakuan 100% pelet yaitu 0,61%. Kadar amonia yang dihasilkan selama penelitian berkisar antara 0,17-0,19 mg/L. Kadar terendah pada perlakuan 80% pelet+20% daun kelor segar sedangkan tertinggi pada perlakuan 100% pelet.Catfish is freshwater fish species that has a fairly high level of adaptation. This research was conducted for 35 days of maintenance with the aim of knowing the effect of fresh moringa leaves on the growth and survival of sangkuriang catfish. Giving fresh moringa leaves as a feed additive is intended as an alternative raw material because it has a high enough protein content so that it can meet the growth and survival rate. The treatment used in this study was 4 treatments and 3 repetitions namely 100% pellets, 90% pellets+10% fresh moringa leaves, 85% pellets+15% fresh moringa leaves, and 80% pellets+20% fresh moringa leaves. Giving fresh moringa leaves had a significant effect on the weight of sangkuriang catfish where the hightest value was the administration of 80% pellets+20% fresh moringa leaves of 6.65±2.42 grams. Giving fresh moringa leaves did not have a significant effect on the increase in length of the sangkuriang catfish. The highest increase in 85% pellets+15% fresh moringa leaves of 2.79±0.99 cm. Giving fresh moringa leaves had a significant effect on survival of sangkuriang catfish. The highest SR value was in treatment 80% pellets+20% fresh moringa leaves, which was 91.36%. The addition of fresh moringa leaves had a significant effect on the FCR value of sangkuriang catfish. The lowest FCR value in treatment 100% pellets which was 0.61%. The ammonia levels produced during the study ranged from 0.17-0.19 mg/L. The lowest level was in treatment with 80% pellets+20% fresh moringa leaves while the highest was in the control treatment.

Abstract

Mikroplastik merupakan partikel yang memiliki ukuran <5 mm, sifat mikroplastik yang menempel pada semua molekul dapat mengkontaminasi biota perairan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi mikroplastik pada udang dan ikan di sungai Brantas. Metode penelitian ini memiliki beberapa tahap yaitu sampling, identifikasi sampel, dan analisis data. Pengambilan  sampel diambil sebanyak 9 stasiun. Metode NOAA. Pemberian H₂O₂ dengan kosentrasi 30 % dan FeSO₄ dengan konsentrasi 0.05 M dan sampel diinkubasi selama 24 jam. Hasil yang diperoleh ditemukan sebanyak 5-15 partikel/ekor pada udang (Macrobrachium equides) dan pada ikan sebanyak 11-345 partikel/ekor.Peran masyarakat sangat penting dalam pengurangan  penggunaan plastik sekali pakai yang menjadi penyebab utama adanya kontaminasi mikroplastik.Sebaiknya perlu adanya  pengolahan limbah yang harus diolah sebelum dibuang ke sungai, serta membuat regulasi penggunaan sampah plastik sekali pakai.

Abstract

Gastropoda merupakan kelompok fauna yang paling dominan dari ketuju kelas dalam fillum mollusca. Kelimpahan jenis gastropoda dapat menggambarkan kodisi perairan, serta berperan penting dalam menjaga keseimbangan ekologi di ekosistem sungai. Gastropoda merupakan biota air yang juga dapat digunakan sebagai indikator yang baik tidaknya kondisi kualitas perairan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelimpahan gastropoda sebagai bioindikator kualitas perairan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan November-Desember 2022. Pengambilan sampel gastropoda dan sampel air dilakukan menggunakan metode purposive sampling dan transek, dengan 3 stasiun masing-masing stasiun 3 plot dengan melakukan pengulangan 3 kali setiap minggunya. Parameter kualitas air yang meliputi suhu, salinitas pH, kecerahan, DO, kecepatan arus, BOD, Nitrat, dan fosfat.  Jumlah kelimpahan gastropoda pada stasiun 1 yang didapatkan nilai sebesar 10,33 ind. Pada stasiun 2 didaptakan nilai 62,00 ind. Stasiun 3 mendapatkan nilai kelimpahan gastropoda sebesar 146,33 ind. Berdasarkan indeks keanekaragaman Shannon-Wiener, kualitas perairan di aliran sungai di Desa Gili Timur Kecamatan Kamal Kabupaten Bangkalan berada dalam kondisi tercemar ringan. Perairan yang belum tercemar akan menunjukkan jumlah individu seimbang sedangkan perairan yang tercemar akan menunjukkan persebaran individuyang tidak merata dan cenderung ada spesies mendominasi.   Gastropods are the most dominant group of fauna of the class in the mollusca phyla. The abundance of gastropod species can describe the codition of waters, as well as play an important role in maintaining ecological balance in river ecosystems.  Gastropods are aquatic biota that can also be used as a good indicator of whether the condition of water quality is good. This study aims to determine the abundance of gastropods as a bioindicator of water quality. Oini research was carried out in November-December 2022. Gastropod sampling and water samples were carried out using purposive sampling and transect methods, with 3 stations each station 3 plots by repeating 3 times each week. Water quality parameters include temperature, pH salinity, brightness, DO, current speed, BOD, Nitrate, and phosphate.  The total abundance of gastropods at station 1 obtained a value of 10.33 ind. At station 2 there is a value of 62.00 ind. Station 3 received a gastropod abundance value of 146.33 ind. Based on the Shannon-Wiener diversity index, the quality of the waters in the river flow in East Gili Village, Kamal District, Bangkalan Regency is in a mildly polluted condition. Unpolluted waters will show a balanced number of individuals while polluted waters will show an uneven distribution of individuals and there tends to be species dominating.

Abstract

Teknologi penangkapan ikan yang ramah lingkungan dan berkelanjutan merupakan suatu teknologi penangkapan ikan dengan menggunakan alat  tangkap yang tidak memberikan dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan. Bubu merupakan alat tangkap ikan yang dioperasikan secara pasif di dasar perairan, jenis bubu yang dipakai adalah jenis bubu lipat untuk menangkap rajungan.  Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif yaitu observasi langsung dilapangan dan wawancara kepada nelayan dan data sekunder dilanjutkan penentuan populasi sampel serta pengambilan sampel secara acak (random sampling).  Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisa variabilitas, selektivitas dan menentukan tingkat keramahan lingkungan alat tangkap jenis bubu lipat di Perairan Laut Jawa  Kabupaten Bangkalan. Hasil penelitian diperoleh variabilitas dan  selektivitas hasil tangkapan bubu lipat dengan hasil tangkapan utama (main catch) adalah rajungan (Portunus pelagicus) sebanyak 297 kg atau 92,5 % dari total hasil tangkapan dan hasil tangkapan sampingan  (by catch) adalah kepiting (Scylla sp.)  sebanyak 24 kg atau  7,5 % dari total hasil tangkapan sedangkan hasil tangkapan terbuang (discard) tidak ada.  Tingkat keramahan lingkungan alat tangkap jenis bubu lipat diperoleh skor hasil penilaian sebesar 33 yang menunjukkan bahwa alat tangkapan jenis ini tergolong kedalam alat tangkap Sangat Ramah Lingkungan.Environmentally friendly and sustainable fishing technology is afishing technology using fishing gear that does not hurt the environment. Bubu is a fishing gear that is operated passively at the bottom of the waters, The type of bubu used is the type of Collapsible Trap to catch crabs.  The method used in this research is a descriptive method, namely direct observation in the field and interviews with fishermen and secondary data followed by determining the sample population and random sampling.  The purpose of this study was to analyse the variability, selectivity and determine the level of environmental friendliness of collapsible trap fishing gear in the Java Sea Waters of Bangkalan Regency. The results obtained variability and selectivity of the folding trawl catch with the main catch is crab (Portunus pelagicus) as much as 297 kg or 92.5% of the total catch and by-catch is crab (Scylla sp.) as much as 24 kg or 7.5% of the total catch while the discarded catch does not exist.  The level of environmental friendliness of folding bubu type fishing gear obtained an assessment score of 33 which indicates that this type of fishing gear is classified as very environmentally friendly fishing gear.

Abstract

Gourami (Osphronemus gouramy) is one type of freshwater fish native to Indonesia that has long been consumed and has been cultivated by the community because of the delicious taste of meat, and nutritious so that gourami have high economic value. This research was conducted at the UPT LKIL from January 3 to January 31, 2023 with the aim of determining water quality measurements in gourami hatcheries (Osphronemus gouramy). Water quality measurements in pearl catfish hatcheries (Clarias gariepinus) include pH, temperature, and DO (Dissolved Oxygen) carried out in spawning ponds. The average temperature value produced was 25.1 ° C in the morning and 27.6 ° C in the afternoon, the average pH value produced was 7 in the morning and evening, and the average value of DO (Dissolved Oxygen) obtained was 5.4 mg / L in the morning and 6.6 mg / L in the afternoon. The results of water quality in gourami spawning ponds (Osphronemus gouramy) are in accordance with previous studies and have met SNI quality standards.

Abstract

The large market demand for consumption fish makes some farming communities interested in farming, especially consumption fish farming. Fish hatchery business is the first step to the success of fish farming, because for each growing season the aquaculture business requires a supply of seeds from the hatchery business. Goldfish hatcheries are relatively easy because carp can spawn naturally or artificially. Goldfish have a relatively high fecundity or number of eggs, which ranges from 84,000-110,000 eggs per kilogram of brood. The implementation of carp hatchery techniques includes several processes, namely pond preparation, brood selection, kakaban installation, brood release, spawning, hatching eggs, larval care, checking water quality, seeding, pest and disease control. calculation of fecundity, fertilization rate (FR), hatching rate (HR), and survival rate (SR). The data collection method used in this street vendor is primary data. Primary data include active participation, observation, interviews, and documentation. The carp hatchery technique (Cyprinus carpio L.) at IPB Punten, Batu City is carried out naturally, the carp mother used comes from Punten using a ratio of male to female parents of 1: 3. The feeding method, namely Blind Feeding, obtained an F value of 40,000 eggs, FR 84%, HR 84.5% and SR 90.2%.

Abstract

Produktivitas kapal penangkapan ikan merupakan tingkat kemampuan kapal penangkap ikan untuk memperoleh hasil tangakapan ikan per tahun. Jaring Tarik Berkantong merupakan alat tangkap berkantong besar berbentuk seperti kerucut dan merupakan alat tangkap yang mendominasi di Pelabuhan Branta Pesisir. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengkaji penangkapan ikan menggunakan Jaring Tarik Berkantong dan produktivitas hasil tangkapannya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada April-Mei 2022 di Pelabuhan Branta Pesisir, Tlanakan, Pamekasan, Madura. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode observasi secara langsung dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah status pemanfaatan, produktivitas berdasarkan jumlah hasil tangkapan, produktivitas per ABK, dan produktivitas per trip. Pengoperasian Jaring Tarik Berkantong terbagi menjadi 3 tahapan yaitu persiapan, setting, dan hauling. Hasil analisis status pemanfaatan diperoleh nilai 3.492,84 ton/tahun yang diperoleh dari 80% nilai MSY. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan produktivitas berdasarkan jumlah hasil tangkapan, per ABK dan per trip diperoleh nilai sebesar 5.658 kg/unit atau 5,658 ton/unit, 0.566 ABK/trip, dan 1.885 ton/trip. Nilai produktivitas Jaring Tarik Berkantong di Pelabuhan Branta Pesisir menunjukkan bahwa nilai produktivitas pada penelitian ini telah melebihi peraturan yang telah ditetapkan.The productivity of fishing vessels is the level of ability of fishing vessels to obtain fish catches per year (KEPMEN-KP 2021). Cantrang is a fishing gear that is like a large bag shaped like a cone and is the dominant fishing gear in the Coastal Branta Harbor. The purpose of this study was to determine the process of catching fish using cantrang fishing gear and to determine the productivity value of cantrang catches. This research was conducted in April-May 2022 at the Port of Branta Pesisir, Tlanakan, Pamekasan, Madura. The method used in this research is the observation method with the type of case study research. The data analysis methods used are utilization status analysis, productivity analysis based on the number of catches, productivity analysis per crew, and productivity analysis per trip. Cantrang operation is divided into 4 stages, namely preparation, setting, and hauling. The results of the utilization status analysis obtained a value of 3,492.84 tons/year which was obtained from 80% of the MSY value. The results of the productivity analysis based on the number of catches, per crew and per trip obtained values of 5,658 kg/unit or 5,658 tons/unit, 0.566 crew/trip, and 1,885 tons/trip. The productivity value of cantrang at the Coastal Branta Port shows that the productivity value in this study has exceeded the established regulations.

Menurut metode NOAA (National Oceanic and atmospheric Administration), sampel perlu dilakukan pemberian H2O2 dengan kosentrasi 30 % dan FeSO4 dengan konsentrasi 0.05 M dan sampel diinkubasi selama 24 jam. Hasil yang diperoleh ditemukan sebanyak 5-15 partikel/ekor pada udang (Macrobrachium equides) dan pada ikan sebanyak 11-345 partikel/ekor. Peran masyarakat sangat penting dalam pengurangan penggunaan plastik sekali pakai yang menjadi penyebab utama adanya kontaminasi mikroplastik. Sebaiknya perlu adanya  pengolahan limbah dengan mengolahnya terlebih dahulu sebelum dibuang ke sungai, serta membuat regulasi penggunaan sampah plastik sekali pakai.

Abstract

Blue swimming crab (Portunus Pelagicus) is a type of marine animal that has quite high economic value, so it is quite attractive to the surrounding community, especially the people in Sumenep Regency. The aim of this study was to find out the growth pattern of variations in carapace width and weight of blue swimming crab (Portunus Pelagicus) in the waters of the southern part of Sumenep Regency. This research was conducted in May 2023 in the village of Aengdake Sumenep. Retrieval of blue swimming crab data includes calculating the width of the carapace and the weight of the crab. The maximum width of the crab carapace is 16 cm while the maximum weight of the crab is 164 grams. From the calculation data for the width-weight relationship, it can be seen that the value of b is 0.74 where this value indicates that the growth pattern of blue swimming crab in the waters of Aengdake Village, Sumenep Regency with a sample of 100 crabs, shows a negative allometric growth pattern. So it is known that the growth in width is faster than the growth in weight.
