Abstract

Technological advancements and evolving learning methods demand innovation in education, particularly to enhancing student engagement and learning outcomes in the subjects of Pancasila and Civic Education. This study aims to improve student activity and learning outcomes by implementing the inquiry method assisted by audiovisual media. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection phases. The research subjects were 36 students from Class XI Welding Engineering at State Vocational High School 3 Salatiga. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and tests. The results showed that in the pre-cycle stage, only 16.66% of students were actively involved in the learning process, and 41.7% achieved a score of ≥ 75. In Cycle I, student engagement increased to 75.6%, and learning mastery rose to 58.3%. In Cycle II, student activity reached 90.9%, with learning mastery improving significantly to 91.6%. The findings conclude that the inquiry method supported by audio-visual media is effective in enhancing student engagement, understanding, and academic performance. Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) method in improving students' critical thinking skills and democratic character in Pancasila Education. The research used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, which was carried out in two cycles, each consisting of two meetings. The research subjects were 35 students of class XI.2 at State Senior High School 3 Salatiga in the 2025/2026 academic year. Data collection techniques used observation and tests. The results showed that the application of the PBL method could improve students' critical thinking skills, as indicated by an increase in the average score from 57.3 (low category) in the pre-cycle to 70.1 (medium category) in cycle I, and further increased to 80.3 (high category) in cycle II. Students' democratic character also improved from an average of 55.71% (low category) in the pre-cycle to 74.75% (medium category) in cycle I, and increased to 87.61% (high category) in cycle II. The PBL method can be used as an alternative learning strategy to develop 21st-century skills and democratic values in students. Abstract

Background –The  background of this research is  based  on the  perception  that learning geometry at the elementary  school  level  is  often  considered  monotonous  and  less  interesting,  due  to  the  lack  of  varied teaching methods and the lack of material connection with students' daily lives. Purpose –To increase students' interest in learning, creativity, and understanding, this research integrates the traditional Mountain Tread gamewith the concept of Fibonacci. Method/Approach–With   a   qualitative   approach,   data   collection   was   done   through   observation, interviews, and documentation during the learning process. Findings –The results showed that the use of this media was able to improve students' understanding of geometric  shapes  and  patterns,  while  stimulating  their  creativity  in  forming  and  exploring  geometric patterns based on the Fibonacci concept. Conclusions–In conclusion, combining traditional games and the Fibonacci concept is an effective strategy in developing creativity and understanding of geometry at the elementary school level, with the advantage of keeping up with the times while preserving local culture. Novelty/Originality/Value - This study offers an innovative integration of local wisdom content with three-dimensional Pop-Up Book design as a character education tool.

Abstract

Currently, the character among the community, especially the attitude of nationalism in students, is said to be declining due to globalization. Therefore, it is important for schools to overcome these problems through activities that can foster an attitude of nationalism. This research was conducted to find out the extracurricular activity program that can foster the nationalism attitude of students at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 2 Semarang. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with observation and interview techniques. After the data were collected, the data were processed and analyzed descriptively using data triangulation techniques. The results of the research show that the scout extracurricular activity program is capable of fostering a nationalist attitude in accordance with the eight characteristics of a nationalist attitude, including: (1) welcoming guest camps; (2) exploring the terrain; (3) providing scouting materials; (4) repling; (5) PERSAMI or Saturday and Sunday Camp; (6) social service; (7) mountain climbing; and (8) PERATA or End of Year Camp.

Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran  PKn  menggunakan model pembelajaran Make A Match di kelas IX D SMP Negeri 7 Salatiga. Hasil belajar siswa yang rendah disebabkan masih digunakannya metode ceramah dibantu media buku cetak ketika guru mengajar, sehingga siswa pasif dan kurang memahami materi. Penggunaan model pembelajaran Make A Match merupakan bentuk tindakan perbaikan pembelajaran yang dipilih untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Prosedur penelitian meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan dan pengamatan, serta refleksi yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan tes, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif komparatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Sebelum tindakan  hanya 6 siswa (23,08%) yang tuntas KKM . Setelah tindakan pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 20 siswa (76,92%) tuntas KKM dan pada siklus II menjadi 26 siswa (100%) tuntas KKM. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Make A Match dalam pembelajaran PKn dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Kata kunci : Model Pembelajaran Make A Match, Hasil Belajar
