Abstract

Health Development is a prominent program among 45 essential initiatives that must be implemented nationwide in relation to sectoral and regional development, ranking 12th among them. In Surabaya, health programs are conducted through community health centers (puskesmas). One of the services provided at the Sukodono Health Center (PKM) includes interchangeable rooms. The Sukodono Sidoarjo Health Center also features a delivery room and infant incubator equipment designed for premature infants. The use of infant incubators significantly increases the percentage of safely born babies and enhances their ability to survive hypothermia. However, the growing sophistication of medical devices raises concerns about their safety and the reliability of infant incubators, emphasizing the need for controlled parameter inspections in medical devices. Safety inspections and performance evaluations are carried out by clinical professionals. Unfortunately, maintenance activities at the community health center have not yet been addressed due to the absence of staff qualified to handle such tasks. As part of community service, maintenance activities for infant incubator equipment were conducted to ensure that the incubators are ready and suitable for use, enabling ongoing services. The results of these activities indicated that the infant incubators are in good condition and ready for use. The measurement results show that the biggest error occurred at the baby incubator temperature which was set at 35°C with an error of 0.05°C..

Abstract

Kids born before 37 weeks of pregnancy or weighing less than 2500 grams are considered premature, whereas kids born between 38 and 40 weeks of pregnancy and between 2500 to 4000 grams are considered full-term. Given that their organ systems are still developing within the womb, premature infants find it difficult to adjust to life outside the womb. As a result, special consideration must be made. They include modifying the environment's temperature, humidity, and oxygen needs to reflect those of the mother's womb. These conditions might be replaced with a baby incubator. This tool's creation is intended to make it easier for midwives and other healthcare professionals to keep an eye on many baby incubators. The Internet of Things (IoT) system is used by this instrument to transfer data. Using three ESP32 modules that have been put together to create modules that can collect data and have that data analyzed by a server (central monitoring) Raspberry Pi Zero W. Data will be sent via Internet of Things (IoT) technology, and the website will display the data. Two tests were conducted at 32 degrees Celsius, one at 34 degrees Celsius, and one at 36 degrees Celsius for a total of five tests. This technique was developed using a form of pre-experimental, after-only study. In this configuration, researchers may only see the module reading results; incubator analyzer data are not shown. Error value 3 in monitoring at 32 degrees Celsius has a maximum error of -0.04 percent. The largest error value occurs when the temperature is set to 34 degrees Celsius, when the monitoring error value is -0.016%. Monitoring inaccuracy is at its highest, 0.01%, when the temperature is 36 degrees Celsius. The monitoring 3 error value is most at 32 degrees Celsius (-0.025 percent), followed by 34 degrees Celsius (0.031 percent), and finally 36 degrees Celsius (0.049 percent), as shown by data on noise measurements. The findings demonstrate that each measurement performed by the module still contains mistakes. Medical staff should find it easier to concurrently monitor many infant incubators thanks to this discovery.

Abstract

X-ray radiation is used to diagnose human body. In order to apply this method, two parameters are commonly used as the settings. The first is the KV value and the second is the mA value. In this case, when an error occurs in the kV setting, it will cause poor image quality, thus leads to inaccurate information in patient’s examination. It is likewise the presence of excessive doses to the patient's body. To ensure that the KV value produced is under the settings on the machine consul, both invasive and non-invasive measurements were carried out. Non-invasive is becoming an easy standard to do. Several types of equipment on the market and research results have been widely used for this non-invasive activity. The problem emerges is that the existing tools still use expensive detectors. The purpose of this study was to design a low-cost non-invasive x-ray KV meter detector using an LED detector whose ability was tested at each point of collimation. Furthermore, the method used in this study was to stump the detectors at 4 ends of the collimation by 20 cm apart. The data were taken by doing x-ray exposure at a distance of 60 cm. The module measurements were carried out under 80 mA exposure conditions for 1 second and a collimation area of 20 x 20 cm. Meanwhile, the x-ray exposure settings were performed at 40kV, 50kV, 60kV, and 70kV settings. The module measurement results were further compared to the x-ray machine setting values. Based on the comparison results, the smallest error rate was obtained on Sensor 2 by 0.83%, while the highest error rate was obtained on S5 by 6.43%. The results can be concluded that the LED phosphor can capture x-rays, but the detector was weak due to the interference from ambient light.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to create a compact system at a low cost in an infant incubator. Apart from stabilizing the temperature, it can also calculate the premature baby's heart rate and oxygen saturation value. The contribution of the system being built can detect the early symptoms of congenital abnormalities so that abnormalities detection becomes more practical. The temperature stability in this system uses a threshold system, where the sensor readings are compared with the set point value. Meanwhile, the SpO2 system uses a finger sensor attached to the baby's finger to detect oxygen saturation and heart rate. The signal from the sensor is processed in a signal conditioning circuit consisting of an astable circuit, filter and amplifier, LPF, and demultiplexer. Based on the results of testing and measurement, the difference produced by this tool is only 0.13 - 0.182 ° C. The biggest error in the system is 0.517%. Measurement of skin temperature was carried out on 10 respondents with an average value of 34.825 ° C. so that the difference generated from this tool is only 0.175 ° C, the difference on the Humidity parameter is 0.21%. The average BPM reading of respondent 1 was 81 beats per minute and the average SpO2 value was 97%. The average BPM reading of respondent 2 was 83 beats per minute and the average SpO2 value was 98%. You can see that the module with the Arduino control system can work automatically and is able to adjust the stability of the baby incubator according to the settings. In addition, the BPM and SpO2 systems are within tolerance so they can be used for patient measurements

Abstract

Eye vision is a person's visual acuity examination that is usually done using a Snellen chart. The Snellen chart is a poster that contains a number of letters that are different on each line with the letters getting closer to the bottom lines. Eye vision examination using a normal Snellen chart is done at a distance of 6 meters because someone is considered normal if he is able to read on the 20/20 line in feet or 6/6 in meters. Snellen chart control android is an electronic Snellen chart that controls the light transfer using Android. Commands originating from the Mitapp application on android are sent to the Bluetooth HC-05 module in the min sys Atmega16 circuit. Atmega 16 was chosen because it has a sufficient number of pins to control the displacement of the lights used by 23 lights. The appearance of the MIT app application has been adjusted to the letters contained in the Snellen chart, making it easier for operator to correct the results of the readings that have been performed by the eye vision patient

Abstract

Newborns, both healthy and premature babies, have a difficult problem, newborns withstood the environment with new ones that previously depended on the mother's uterus and also as a place for initial examination in nayi after just being discussed. The purpose of this study was to add a baby warmer with PID temperature control and add respiration parameters and APGAR. The contribution in this study is the PID control system which is used to control temperature and is also a sensor of respiration rates to determine respiration in infants. So that the values of the temperature sensor and Respiration Rate sensor can be stable it is necessary to adjust the sensor's reading time. The LM35 sensor can activate temperature in the body, the Flex Sensor is used to read respiration values in infants. Based on data collection of respiration rates taken from adults, an average value of 18.5 times per minute was obtained in the first attempt, and 21 times per minute in the second trial. Respiratory rate values that have not been stable take data because there are still external factors, such as changes from respondents and others. The results of this research can be implemented on baby warmers to improve the application of updates to the baby.
