Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze appropriate marketing strategies that can be applied to the freshwater ornamental fish business in Bandung City. The research will be conducted in a time frame and location from March to April 2024 in Bandung City. The analysis method used is SWOT analysis. The initial stage involves the analysis of internal factors (IFAS) and external factors (EFAS). Next, perform the calculation of the IFE EFE matrix and the formulation of marketing strategies using the grand strategy matrix. Based on the results of the analysis, both internal factors and external factors each have 5 factors. Strengths include Good quality ornamental fish, strategic location, affordable prices, a large selection of fish species, and comfortable and clean stores. Weaknesses include hampered marketing activities, promotion has not been maximized, fish dying from the disease, do not update on social media, and unsatisfactory service. Opportunities include the trend of ornamental fish, the number of ornamental fish suppliers being relatively large, supportive government policies, consumer confidence in products, and ornamental fish as a hobby or decoration. Threats include changes in consumer tastes, increasingly fierce business competition, price games from competitors, the entry of ornamental fish from abroad, and a lack of market information. The results of the grand strategy matrix analysis show that the position of the X-axis (0.48) and the Y-axis (0.42) is in quadrant I, so the right strategy that can be applied is an aggressive strategy (SO) which means utilizing strengths and opportunities. S-O strategies that can be applied include maintaining and improving the quality of ornamental fish, increasing the number of different types of ornamental fish, setting prices that can be reached by consumers, expanding ornamental fish business premises, and arranging and maintaining the cleanliness of business premises. Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis strategi pemasaran yang tepat yang dapat diterapkan pada usaha ikan hias air tawar di Kota Bandung. Waktu dan lokasi penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Maret sampai bulan April 2024 di Kota Bandung. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis SWOT. Tahap pertama dengan melakukan analisis faktor internal (IFAS) dan faktor eksternal (EFAS). Berikutnya melakukan perhitungan matriks IFE EFE dan perumusan strategi pemasaran menggunakan matriks grand strategi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis faktor internal dan faktor eksternal masing-masing memiliki 5 faktor. Kekuatan meliputi Kualitas ikan hias baik, lokasi strategis, harga yang terjangkau, banyak pilihan jenis ikan, dan toko yang nyaman dan bersih. Kelemahan meliputi Kegiatan pemasaran terhambat, promosi belum maksimal, ikan mati karena penyakit, tidak update dimedia sosial, pelayanan yang tidak memuaskan. Peluang meliputi Tren ikan hias mengalami peningkatan, jumlah pemasok ikan hias relatif banyak, kebijakan pemerintah yang mendukung, kepercayaan konsumen terhadap produk, dan ikan hias sebagai hobi ataupun hiasan. Ancaman meliputi perubahan selera konsumen, persaingan bisnis semakin ketat, permainan harga dari pesaing, masuknya ikan hias dari luar negeri, dan kurangnya informasi pasar. Hasil dari analisis matriks grand strategi menunjukkan posisi sumbu X (0,48) dan sumbu Y (0,42) berada pada kuadran I, maka strategi yang tepat yang dapat diterapkan adalah strategi agresif (SO) yang berarti memanfaatkan kekuatan (strength) dan peluang (opportunities). Strategi SO yang dapat diterapkan antara lain Mempertahankan dan meningkatkan kualitas ikan hias, menambah jumlah jenis ikan hias yang berbeda, menetapkan harga yang dapat dijangkau oleh konsumen, memperluas tempat usaha ikan hias, serta menata dan menjaga kebersihan tempat usaha. Abstract

Seaweed grows in almost all waters of Indonesia, making it one of the important exporting countries in Asia. Indonesia's three main seaweed export commodities are Eucheuma cottonii, Gracillaria sp., and Gelidium sp. One significant seaweed cultivation center is Lontar Village. However, value-added downstream product activities still need to be developed there. The potential for drying seaweed in Lontar Village reaches 150,000 kg per month. Data analysis was performed using quantitative descriptive methods, including profitability analysis, B/C Ratio analysis, Break-Even Point analysis, and Payback Period over the past year with five harvest cycles. The prospective analysis results include aspects of seaweed drying processing techniques, financial elements, and marketing aspects. This study uses a case study method with key informants being the head and members of the seaweed processing group in Lontar Village. The data used are from five harvest cycles over the past year. The prospective analysis results show that the financial analysis of the seaweed processing business in Lontar Village indicates positive outcomes, such as positive profits, a B/C Ratio greater than 1, seaweed sales and production values exceeding the Break-Even Point, and a Payback Period of less than one year. Seaweed marketing in Lontar Village is conducted on a cash basis, with their main market being Java Island. Keywords: Prospective, Business, Processing, Seaweed. Abstrak Rumput laut tumbuh hampir di seluruh perairan Indonesia, menjadikannya salah satu negara pengekspor penting di Asia. Tiga komoditas ekspor utama rumput laut Indonesia adalah Eucheuma cottonii, Gracillaria sp., dan Gelidium sp. Salah satu sentra budidaya rumput laut yang signifikan adalah Desa Lontar. Namun, kegiatan hilirisasi produk jadi yang bernilai tambah masih perlu dikembangkan di sana. Potensi penjemuran rumput laut kering di Desa Lontar mencapai 150.000 kg per bulan. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif, yang meliputi analisis keuntungan, analisis B/C Ratio, analisis Break Even Point, dan Payback Period selama satu tahun terakhir dengan lima siklus panen. Hasil analisis prospektif mencakup aspek teknik pengolahan penjemuran rumput laut, aspek finansial, dan aspek pemasaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan informan kunci berupa ketua dan anggota kelompok pengolahan rumput laut di Desa Lontar. Data yang digunakan adalah data dari lima siklus panen selama satu tahun terakhir. Hasil analisis prospektif menunjukkan nalisis finansial usaha pengolahan rumput laut di Desa Lontar menunjukkan hasil yang baik, seperti keuntungan yang bernilai positif, B/C Ratio lebih dari 1, nilai penjualan dan produksi rumput laut lebih besar dari nilai Break Even Point, dan Payback Period kurang dari satu tahun. Pemasaran rumput laut di Desa Lontar dilakukan dengan sistem kontan, dan pasar utama mereka adalah Pulau Jawa. Kata kunci: Prospektif, Usaha, Pengolahan, Rumput Laut.

Abstract

The amount of seaweed production in Lontar Village which decreases every year needs to be analyzed to increase the amount of seaweed production in Lontar Village. In this study, an analysis of internal and external factors of seaweed cultivation business in Lontar Village will be conducted. Formulation of development directions using SWOT analysis. Based on the results of IFAS and EFAS analysis, internal and external factors have 5 factors. Strengths include people's interest in large seaweed farming businesses, labor is easy to obtain from families and communities, seaweed cultivation technology is simple and easy, large seaweed cultivation areas are available and harvesting and maintenance periods can be arranged. Weaknesses include lack of knowledge and skills in the cultivation business, seaweed is susceptible to pest and disease attacks, the quality and quantity of seeds are not supportive, there is no seaweed processing industry and poor water quality that affects harvesting. Opportunities include export market potential, superior products of government programs, seaweed processing industry, seaweed processing technology and facilities and infrastructure. Threats include the threat of climate change, lack of training from extension workers, fluctuating seaweed prices, loss of generations of seaweed farmers and assistance from the government has not met the needs of farmers and has not been evenly distributed. Based on the results of the matrix analysis, the right strategy applied to seaweed farming business in Lontar Village is the S-O (Progressive) strategy. The S-O (Progressive) strategy consists of investing in innovative technology and training, creating a sustainable seaweed processing industry, utilizing government program support, optimizing the use of cultivated areas and taking advantage of export opportunities. Keywords: SWOT analysis, Seaweed, Lontar Village.

Abstract

The relationship between food and cities is complex because it covers various aspects such as production, distribution, and environmental impacts. Currently, the land area that can be used for the agricultural sector in Bandung City is only 9.6%. Most fishery commodities in Bandung City are imported from outside the region. This research aims to formulate strategies related to food independence efforts in the fisheries sector in Bandung City. This research uses a descriptive method with the tool used to analyze the data SWOT with an analysis of internal and external factors in the city of Bandung. The results obtained in this research are that the city of Bandung is in quadrant 2, which means that diversification is the right thing to implement now. The strategy used is to encourage the improvement of the social and economic status of the fish cultivator profession and also business actors in the fisheries sector in the city of Bandung by providing tax exemptions, subsidies, and technical assistance for fish cultivators who use environmentally friendly systems, providing capital loans and for fish farmers and fishery product processors, giving awards to fish farmers and fisheries business actors and developing adequate environmental protection and waste management programs to reduce water pollution by strengthening cooperation between local governments, law enforcement agencies, research institutions, and environmental organizations in monitoring and enforcing regulations related to waste management and river environmental protection.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan valuasi ekonomi terhadap kekayaan sumberdaya kelautan di wilayah Pantai Selatan Jawa Barat dengan teknik mengkuantifikasi nilai sumber daya dalam satuan moneter. Penelitian dilaksanakan Bulan September–Desember 2012 meliputi Kabupaten Ciamis, Tasikmalaya, Garut, Cianjur, Sukabumi. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi data sekunder dan data primer. Data sekunder dikumpulkan dari instansi terkait, sedangkan data primer dikumpulkan melalui observasi lapang dan Focus Group Discussion. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskripsi, serta perhitungan nilai ekonomi sumberdaya kelautan melalui pendekatan Total Economic Value (TEV) yang meliputi sumberdaya hayati seperti sumberdaya perikanan laut (tangkap), sumberdaya tambak, sumberdaya terumbu karang, sumberdaya padang lamun dan sumberdaya mangrove; sumberdaya non hayati (pasir besi) dan jasa lingkungan (jasa pariwisata). Dari hasil studi ini diperoleh nilai ekonomi (present value dengan discount faktor 16%) total sumberdaya kelautan Jawa Barat Selatan Tahun 2012 untuk sumberdaya hayati sebesar Rp.1.408.989.172.400, yang terdiri dari nilai ekonomi present value sumberdaya ikan Rp.1.345.910.309.000; budidaya tambak Rp. 60.725.829; sumberdaya terumbu karang Rp.9.138.987.443; sumberdaya lamun Rp. 46.367.631.672; dan sumberdaya mangrove Rp.7.511.518.456. Total estimasi nilai ekonomi untuk sumberdaya non hayati berupa cadangan pasir besi sebesar Rp 31.950 triliyun; nilai ekonomi jasa pariwisata sebesar Rp.3.558.263.040.000.

Abstract

Waduk Jatigede merupakan waduk yang dipergunakan sebagai sarana penangkapan ikan. Usia yang terbilang muda berpengaruh bahwa informasi tentang penangkapan di Waduk Jatigede masih sulit ditemukan. Belum adanya informasi terkait pelaku kegiatan penangkapan ikan di Waduk Jatigede oleh pemerintah menyebabkan pengelolaan yang belum optimal. Informasi perikanan tangkap salah satunya adalah konstruksi alat tangkap yang digunakan oleh nelayan. Alat tangkap yang mendominasi perairan Waduk Jatigede adalah gillnet. Sehingga tujuan pada riset ini yaitu mengidentifikasi konstruksi alat tangkap khususnya gillnet di Waduk Jatigede. Pelakasanaan riset dilakukan di Waduk Jatigede pada Bulan Agustus hingga Oktober 2021. Metode yang digunakan yaitu studi kasus. Hasil riset menunjukan konstruksi alat tangkap gillnet didominasi oleh mesh size 5 inci, memiliki panjang badan jaring <100 meter, dan lebar badan jaring <6 meter. Tali iris atas, tali pelampung, dan tali pemberat menggunakan tali tambang berbahan Polyethylene (PE) dengan diameter 12 milimeter. Pelampung yang digunakan seluruh nelayan responden gillnet menggunakan botol plastik air mineral dengan ukuran 22,5 cm dan berdiameter 5 cm. Pemberat yang digunakan terdapat 2 jenis yaitu batu dan besi kawat. Pemberat batu memiliki berat 20 kg, sedangkan pemberat besi kawat memiliki diameter 15-20 cm dengan berat persatuannya ±5 gram. Opportunities in the seaweed cultivation business include export market potential, superior products from government programs, the seaweed processing industry, seaweed cultivation technology as well as improving facilities and infrastructure. Threats from seaweed cultivation include the threat of climate change, the absence of training from extension workers, fluctuating seaweed prices, the loss of generations of seaweed cultivators and assistance from the government that is not yet in line with the farmers' needs and is not evenly distributed. The strategy that is suitable to be implemented is the S-O (Progressive) Strategy consisting of optimizing the cultivation area and the amount of seaweed production (S4, S5, O1, O2), the use of technology in seaweed cultivation accompanied by training (S1, S3, O4, O5) and training. and HACCP certification for cultivators (S1, O1, O2).

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Lubukan Biru Farm yang terletak di Cibiru, Kota Bandung. Dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli 2024 – Agustus 2024. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis prospektif usaha dan menganalisis pendapatan usaha budidaya ikan mas koki. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode kuantitatif yang bersifat survei atau observasi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa prospek usaha budidaya ikan mas koki di lokasi riset sangat baik. Diindikasikan beberapa parameter finansial meliputi R/C (2,3), Total revenue (Rp. 550.000.000), dan nilai BEP untuk berbagai grade ikan seperti grade Fancy (harga Rp. 158.000.000 dan produksi 3.518 ekor), grade High Quality (harga Rp. 153.500.000 dan produksi 3.551 ekor), grade Show Quality (harga Rp. 163.200.000 dan produksi 3.580 ekor). Hasil analisis pendapatan usaha menunjukkan keuntungan. Diindikasi dari parameter finansial yang digunakan adalah pendapatan usaha (Rp. 315.110.000) selama satu periode. Usaha ini mencapai titik impas dalam satu periode dan memberikan keuntungan yang menjanjikan, sehingga layak untuk dijalankan

Abstract

Geopark Ciletuh - Palabuhanratu merupakan wilayah yang memiliki luas 1261 km2 dan secara administratif mencakup 8 kecamatan dari Kabupaten Sukabumi. Selain sebagai kawasan konservasi, salah satu pemanfaatan lain dari geopark ini adalah sebagai kawasan wisata bertaraf internasional. Terdapat 70 situs geologi dan 30 situs geoheritage yang dimanfaatkan sebagai obyek wisata. Penelitian mengemukakan bahwa terdapat potensi tsunami setinggi 20 meter di pesisir selatan Kabupaten Sukabumi yang akan berdampak pada wilayah Geopark Ciletuh - Palabuhanratu.Wilayah yang rentan terdapat potensi tsunami sudah seharusnya memiliki tindakan mitigasi untuk meminimalisir dampak yang ditimbulkan. Salah satu bentuk tindakan mitigasi yang bisa dilakukan adalah pembuatan peta risiko. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan penelitian dan pemetaan tingkat risiko bencana tsunami secara spasial di wilayah UNESCO Global Geopark Ciletuh-Palabuhanratu. Metode yang digunakan adalah Multi Criteria Weighted Overlay (MCE-WO) dengan pendekatan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG). Tingkat risiko bencana tsunami 7 Kecamatan di wilayah kerja UNESCO Global Geopark Ciletuh-Palabuhanratu secara umum termasuk dalam kategori sangat rendah. Secara keseluruhan wilayah UNESCO Global Geopark Ciletuh - Palabuhanratu memiliki nilai tingkat risiko yang cukup beragam dari sangat rendah, rendah, sedang, tinggi dan sangat tinggi. Secara spasial, daerah dengan luasan tingkat risiko terhadap bencana tsunami yang sangat tinggi terletak pada wilayah Kecamatan Ciracap yaitu sebesar 1102,97 hektar.

Abstract

As a country with a significant water area and abundant marine biodiversity, Indonesia has excellent potential in the fisheries industry, especially in providing fresh fish, a staple food for the community. The Muara Baru Modern Fish Market in North Jakarta is designed to meet this need by offering various types of fresh fish in a clean, hygienic, and modern environment. This study aims to analyze consumer satisfaction with the marketing of fresh fish in this market. Using 13 variables, including service reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, tangibility, performance, features, durability, product reliability, aesthetics, perceived quality, price, and location, this study had 100 respondents selected by purposive sampling. Data analysis was carried out using the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI), and the results showed a consumer satisfaction level of 78.75%, categorized as "satisfied." The main factor influencing satisfaction is the quality of fresh fish in this market, which is very good, while the cleanliness and appearance of the seller still need improvement
