Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) memperoleh gambaran miskonsepsi siswa pada soal matematika bentuk cerita yang menerapkan model pembelajaran konvensional; (2) memperoleh gambaran miskonsepsi siswa pada soal matematika bentuk cerita yang menerapkan model pembelajaran SSCS; (3) mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran SSCS terhadap miskonsepsi siswa pada soal matematika bentuk cerita. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode True Experimental Design dengan bentuk posttest-Only Control Design. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini berupa tes miskonsepsi dengan menggunakan tes diagnostik two tier multiple choice disertai certainly response indeks (CRI) dan angket respon siswa. Tes diagnostik berupa tes pilihan ganda dengan alasan terbuka sebanyak 17 pertanyaan. Hasil posttest menunjukkan bahwa persentase rata-rata miskonsepsi pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 29% lebih rendah dibanding persentase rata-rata miskonsepsi pada kelas kontrol.  Berdasarkan analisis data menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran sscs (search, solve, create, share) terhadap miskonsepsi siswa pada konten matematika soal bentuk cerita.   Kata Kunci:  miskonsepsi, sscs, two tier multiple choice

Abstract

Learning independence is a condition where someone determines the decision on an initiative to solve learning problems through self-confidence. This study aims to determine the independence of student learning, determine the response of leaflet media in MMP learning, and determine the effect of leaflet media in MMP learning on student learning independence. The research method uses a pseudo experimental design. The study population was the X class Islamic Center in the city of Cirebon and samples were taken based on purposive sampling technique that is obtained class X AKL2. The research instrument used was a questionnaire with descriptive data analysis techniques and simple regression analysis. The results showed an average score of learning independence was 67.133, the average value of leaflet media response scores in MMP learning was 82.86, and the influence of media leaflets on learning independence was 50,4% with a regression equation ????=62,185 + 0,084X.

Abstract

Abstrak—Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan analisis matematis mahasiswa melalui penerapan pendekatan open-ended, mengetahui perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan analisis matematis mahasiswa antara yang memperoleh penerapan pendekatan open-ended dengan yang memperoleh penerapan pendekatan konvensional, dan mengetahui respon mahasiswa terhadap penerapan pendekatan open-ended. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pretset-posttest control group design. Populasi target penelitian adalah seluruh mahasiswa Tadris Matematika IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon pada semester ganjil Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017, sedangkan populasi terjangkau penelitian adalah populasi target yang mengikuti mata kuliah Geometri Analitis yang terdiri dari 4 kelas, yaitu kelas: A, B, C, dan D.  Sampel penelitian dipilih dua kelas dari populasi terjangkau penelitian dengan teknik cluster random sampling karena semua kelas memiliki karakteristik dan kemampuan akademik yang setara, terpilih kelas A sebagai kelas kontrol yang terdiri dari 36 orang mahasiswa dan kelas C sebagai kelas eksperimen yang terdiri dari 35 orang mahasiswa. Analisis data dilakukan terhadap rerata hasil tes kemampuan analisis matematis mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan analisis matematis mahasiswa melalui penerapan pendekatan open-ended rerata gainnya sebesar 0,76, termasuk dalam kategori tinggi; peningkatan kemampuan analisis matematis mahasiswa yang memperoleh penerapan pendekatan open-ended lebih tinggi daripada yang memperoleh penerapan pendekatan konvensional; dan respon mahasiswa terhadap penerapan pendekatan open-ended dengan rata-rata persentase sebesar 74,63%, termasuk kategori kuat.Kata kunci:Analisis Matematis, Pendekatan Open-Ended, Peningkatan Kemampuan

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know: (1) students' responses to the learning of al-qur'an mathematics with cooperative learning models think pair share type; (2) mathematical communication skills of students taught by learning al-quran mathematics with cooperative learning models think pair share type; (3) the effect of learning al-quran mathematics with think pair share type cooperative learning models on students' mathematical communication skills. This research method is an experimental method with a quantitative approach and research design is the posttest-only control design. The population in this study was VII grade students of MTsNU Astanajapura Cirebon. Sampling is done by simple random sampling technique. The instruments used in the study were questionnaires and tests. The results of the study are for students' responses to learning mathematics al-quran with the cooperative learning model of the type of think pair share obtained an average percentage of 75.11% (26 students) who responded positively. For the average value of students' mathematical communication skills obtained a percentage of 77.79% so that it can be said to be good. Hypothesis test results in this study using the t test (t accent) obtained t-count > t-table (34,365> -1,706) so that the hypothesis is accepted that there is an influence on the learning of the mathematics of the qur'an with cooperative learning models think pair share type on students' mathematical communication skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the ability to understand students' mathematical concepts and the responses of students who applied the collaborative teamwork learning model and guided note-taking model, as well as to find out the differences in understanding the mathematical concepts of students who applied the collaborative teamwork learning model and the guided note taking model. This study uses a quantitative approach with experimental methods and a quasi-experimental research design in the form of a posttest-only design. The population of this study were students of class X MAN 1 Cirebon, Cirebon Regency, then selected samples of class X IIS 3 as experimental class II with guided note-taking model and X IIS 4 as experimental class I with collaborative teamwork learning model. Sampling is done by cluster random sampling technique. Through the prerequisite test, namely the normality and homogeneity test, the research data obtained were normally distributed and had homogeneous variance. After conducting the prerequisite test, the researcher tested the hypothesis using the Independent Sample T-Test with the asymp value. Sig (2-tailed) of 0.000. This value is smaller than 0.05, so Ha is accepted. In other words, there are differences in the understanding of mathematical concepts between classes that apply the collaborative teamwork learning model with guided note-taking models on the subject of the sine and cosine rules in class X IIS MAN Cirebon I Cirebon Regency. The average value of the class that applies the collaborative teamwork learning model is 72.38, with 11 students achieving the KKM (Minimum Completeness Criteria), and the guided note-taking model of 78.52, with 29 students completing the KKM (Minimum Completeness Criteria). Both models received a good response from students, with a response of 82% for the collaborative teamwork learning model and 76% for the guided note-taking model.

Abstract

This study has the following objectives: 1) To determine the development of the probing-prompting learning model assisted by the mathematics learning module to increase students' motivation and mathematics learning outcomes, 2) To test the effectiveness of the probing-prompting learning model assisted by the mathematics learning module to increase motivation and learning outcomes in mathematics student. This type of research is an RnD (Research and Development) model using the 4-D method that Thiagarajan and Sammel developed, namely the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. This research was conducted at SMPN 01 Banjarharjo with a sample of 64 students. Collected data in this study using several instruments, including implementing learning plans, tests, motivation, and student response questionnaires. The results that have been obtained from the research are: 1) the Probing-Prompting learning model assisted by the Learning Module, after being validated and tested, it shows that it is convenient in increasing student motivation and learning outcomes, 2) The application of the Probing-Prompting learning model assisted by the Learning Module, can be said to be effective with an increase that occurred in students' motivation and mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

The development of the CIRC learning model with the mind mapping method was based on the needs analysis results. The findings include that students' understanding of mathematical concepts is still not optimal, and teachers' selection of learning models is still not appropriate. The CIRC learning model applied in schools is still not optimal or has several shortcomings. The objectives of this study are: (1) to determine the development of the CIRC learning model with the mind mapping method to improve students' understanding of mathematical concepts; (2) know the improvement of students' understanding of mathematical concepts who received the application of the CIRC learning model with the mind mapping method; (3) knowing the difference in increasing students' understanding of mathematical concepts between those who received the application of the CIRC learning model with the mind mapping method and those who received the application of the CIRC learning model; (4) knowing students' responses to the application of the CIRC learning model with the mind mapping method. The results showed that: (1) the CIRC learning model with the mind mapping method was included in the valid criteria and should be tested based on the product validation results. (2) there is an increase in students' understanding of mathematical concepts in the experimental class who get the application of the CIRC learning model with the mind mapping method of 0.88 (high criteria). (3) there is a significant difference between the application of the CIRC learning model with the mind mapping method and the application of the CIRC learning model to improve students' understanding of mathematical concepts (4) The student response to the application of the CIRC learning model with the mind mapping method is 79% (very good) positive students (accept).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon mahasiswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis portofolio, mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menyusun RPP melalui penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis portofolio, serta mengetahui perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menyusun RPP antara yang memperoleh penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis portofolio dengan yang memperoleh penerapan model pembelajaran konvensional. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pretset-posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh mahasiswa Tadris Matematika IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon yang mengikuti mata kuliah Perencanaan Pembelajaran Matematika pada semester genap Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016 yang terdiri dari 4 kelas, yaitu: A, B, C, dan D. Untuk sampel penelitian dipilih 2 kelas dari populasi penelitian, terpilih kelas A sebagai kelas kontrol yang terdiri dari 34 orang mahasiswa dan kelas D sebagai kelas eksperimen yang terdiri dari 33 orang mahasiswa. Sampel dipilih dengan teknik cluster random sampling karena semua kelas memiliki karakteristik dan kemampuan akademik yang setara. Analisis data dilakukan terhadap rerata hasil tes kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menyusun RPP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa memberikan respon positif terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis portofolio dengan rata-rata persentase sebesar 73,89%, termasuk kategori kuat; peningkatan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menyusun RPP melalui penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis portofolio rerata gainnya sebesar 0,66, termasuk dalam kategori sedang; dan peningkatan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menyusun RPP yang memperoleh penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis portofolio lebih tinggi daripada yang memperoleh penerapan model pembelajaran konvensional.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penggunaan alat peraga sebagai alat bantu saat proses pembelajaran menjadi instrument penting dalam membantu siswa dalam memahami sebuah konsep yang abstrak. Seiring berjalannya waktu, sebuah alat peraga perlu dikembangkan sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan perkembangan zaman demi meningkatnya nilai serta fungsi dari alat peraga tersebut. Penelitian dan Pengembangan ini berfokus pada sebuah alat peraga matematika yang bertujuan untuk membantu proses pembelajaran materi garis dan sudut dan mengetahui signifikansi kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa setelah menggunakan alat peraga yang dikembangkan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode yang diadaptasi dari Sugiyono, dimana proses pengembangan dimulai dari identifikasi masalah, desain produk, hingga uji kelayakan produk. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah tim ahli dan siswa kelas VII SMP. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah angket kelayakan media dan angket respon siswa serta tes soal pemahaman konsep siswa. Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan menyimpulkan bahwa alat peraga penggaris mekanik dinyatakan layak oleh ahli dan baik digunakan untuk pembelajaran siswa. Hasil validasi ahli media dan ahli materi terhadap penggaris mekanik menunjukan nilai rata-rata 3,47, sehingga alat peraga penggaris mekanik masuk kriteria “sangat baik”. Selain itu, presentase ketercapaian indikator pemahaman konsep matematis siswa sebesar 84% dengan rata-rata hasil postest kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa sebesar 84,71.     Kata Kunci: Alat peraga, Garis dan Sudut, Pemahaman Konsep Matematis.
