Abstract

The Ministry of Fisheries and Fisheries (KKP) issued the latest policy in the form of Measured Fishing (PIT) to maintain the sustainability of natural resources. PPS Nizam Zachman is one of the fishing ports that implements this policy by providing weighbridge facilities. Weighbridges are useful in recording the production of landed catches. One of the highest productions at PPS Nizam Zachman is purse seine. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the comparison of purse seine production weighed using a dock scale with a weighbridge. The method used in this study is in the form of a survey. This study uses primary data obtained through interviews, as well as secondary data obtained through the annual report of PPS Nizam Zachman. This study uses descriptive and comparative descriptive analysis. The results of this study are the average production of purse seine catch from pier weighers of 3,546,809.30 kg and weighbridges of 3,761,069.60 kg, and an average difference of 214,260.30 kg. The comparison of the two is seen with the T-Test which produces a P Value of < 0.05, meaning that there is a significant difference. The average accuracy level of weighbridges of 94.31% shows that the data produced is not accurate, due to several factors such as the use of blong, the availability of vehicle fuel, and the difference in fish transport drivers.

Abstract

Nizam Zachman Jakarta Ocean Fishing Port (PPS) generally produces catches for export activities, so it requires transportation that helps the efficiency of catch distribution. It should be noted that the mode of transportation in the form of fish collecting vessels that help the efficiency of catch distribution still needs to be expanded to comprehensive studies. This study aims to identify the characteristics of fish-collecting vessels based on size and general arrangement, analyze the licensing system applied, and analyze the work scheme of fish-collecting vessels based in PPS Nizam Zachman Jakarta. The method used in this research is descriptive method with data collecting techniques through observation, interviews, and literature studies. The results showed that the size of fish collecting vessels based in PPS Nizam Zachman Jakarta is in the range >100GT->300GT, with the layout on the ship mainly used for refrigerated holds and cold storage. The types of fish-collecting vessels consist of sea-to-port and port-to-port fish collecting vessels. The licensing system for fish transport vessels consists of registration to become a fishing vessel and sailing licenses. The work scheme of fish collecting vessels consists of preparation for operations, fish transportation operations, and handling fish catches at the port. Abstract

Suhu permukaan laut dan klorofil-a menjadi parameter penting untuk mengetahui kondisi oseanografi di suatu perairan. Metode dalam pendeteksian sebaran spasio-temporal di suatu perairan salah satunya dengan memanfaatkan teknologi penginderaan jauh. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sebaran spasio-temporal di WPP 713. Penelitian dilaksanakan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan data dengan metode penginderaan jauh untuk menganalisis parameter oseanografi yang digunakan. Data penelitian meliputi SPL dan klorofil-a yang diperoleh dari citra satelit Aqua-MODIS periode bulan Desember 2021 sampai November 2022. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu sebaran SPL dan klorofil-a di perairan WPP 713 pada setiap bulannya dikatakan subur dan hangat, berdasarkan dari klasifikasi sebaran dari bulan Desember 2021 sampai November 2022 di setiap wilayah studi kasus. Abstract

Bentuk kapal penangkap ikan di Indonesia memiliki perbedaan hampir di setiap daerah yang terjadi karena pembangunan kapal yang masih dilakukan secara tradisional. Pembangunan kapal secara tradisional akan memengaruhi kesesuaian antara karakteristik kapal dan juga metode alat tangkap, salah satunya pada alat tangkap static gear yang dioperasikan oleh kapal di PPN Brondong. Oleh karena itu diperlukan identifikasi karakteristik kapal tradisional yang sesuai dengan alat tangkap static gear dengan membandingkan rasio dimensi utama. Kesesuaian terhadap alat tangkap static gear dilakukan dengan membandingkan nilai kapal tradisional dengan acuan. Perbandingan juga dilakukan pada setiap jenis kapal tradisional untuk melihat perbedaan karakteristik pada setiap jenisnya. Berdasarkan perbandingan nilai rasio dimensi utama kapal tradisional di PPN Brondong hampir sesuai dengan kisaran nilai di beberapa wilayah Indonesia. Abstract

Surat Persetujuan Berlayar (SPB) adalah dokumen penting yang harus dibawa kapal penangkap ikan saat akan berlayar. Sering terjadinya ketidakpastian waktu penerbitan SPB menjadi masalah bagi kapal yang sudah menjadwalkan keberangkatan sehingga mengakibatkan kerugian. Salah satu upaya untuk mengatasi ketidakpastian waktu yaitu dengan menganalisis jaringan kerjanya. Riset ini bertujuan untuk menerangkan jaringan kerja, menentukan jalur kritis dan menemukan faktor pendukung serta penghambat penerbitan SPB. Tahapan dan waktu penerbitan SPB dianalisis menggunakan jaringan kerja dengan Critical Path Method (CPM). Hasil riset memperlihatkan penerbitan SPB di kantor syahbandar PPP Tasikagung membutuhkan waktu selama 81 menit dan berdasarkan perhitungan CPM dapat diselesaikan selama 56 menit dengan jalur kritis terletak pada kegiatan: 1) Pengajuan melalui aplikasi e-PIT (A), 2) Pemeriksaan dan verifikasi dokumen persyaratan (C), 3) Penyusunan laporan administratif (E), 4) Validasi pemeriksaan administratif, teknis dan nautis (F), 5) Pencetakan SPB (G), 6) SPB diberikan kepada nelayan (H). Faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi penerbitan SPB terdiri dari faktor pendukung (hukum dan koordinasi antara instansi) dan faktor penghambat (sistem teknologi, ketidakcermatan pemohon dan cuaca). Abstract

Fishing with light fishing technology has become a mainstay method for fishermen to attract fish using light. However, the problem of lighting efficiency in this practice is still a concern, especially in the waters of South Bolaang Mongondow Regency, North Sulawesi Province. This study aims to compare the catch results of floating bagan using LED lights and neon lights. The method used is the experimental fishing method, where the fishing process is carried out directly in the field. The catch data was analyzed to calculate the total weight of the catch per trip or hauling in kilograms (kg). The results showed that floating bagan with LED lights produced a catch of 721 kg, while floating bagan with neon lights only produced 495 kg. Statistical analysis showed a significant difference between the two types of lighting. LED lights have the advantage of producing more efficient light intensity and wavelengths that can penetrate deeper waters, making them more effective in attracting fish and increasing the success of the catch. The recommendation from this study is that the use of LED lights can be widely adopted by fishermen as a more efficient and sustainable lighting alternative. Abstract

Operasi penangkapan alat tangkap bagan apung memiliki hubungan yang erat dengan persebarannya, karena sebaran bagan apung dapat memengaruhi hasil tangkapan ikan. Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi citra satelit dapat dimanfaatkan untuk pemantauan sebaran alat tangkap bagan apung. Riset ini bertujuan untuk menentukan pola sebaran bagan apung di perairan Teluk Palabuhanratu dan mengidentifikasi operasi penangkapan ikan pada alat tangkap bagan apung di perairan Teluk Palabuhanratu. Pengumpulan data primer dilakukan dengan cara wawancara dan observasi kepada nelayan. Pengumpulan data sekunder memanfaatkan citra satelit Sentinel-2 pada tahun 2019-2023 di perairan Teluk Palabuhanratu, kemudian hasil rekaman citra satelit di digitasi manual menggunakan software ArcGIS. Titik-titik sebaran alat tangkap bagan apung hasil dari digitasi manual dianalisis menggunakan analisis tetangga terdekat (nearest neighboor analysis) yang hasilnya berupa indeks T. Hasil analisis tetangga terdekat (indeks T) di perairan Teluk Palabuhanratu pada tahun 2019-2023 adalah 1,23, 1,09, 1,14, 0,90, dan 0,95 yang berarti selama 5 tahun pola sebaran alat tangkap bagan apung di perairan Teluk Palabuhanratu adalah acak. Pengoperasian bagan apung terdiri dari persiapan, perjalanan menuju fishing ground, penurunan jaring (setting), penarikan jaring (hauling), dan perjalanan kembali menuju fishing base. Operasi penangkapan ikan dilakukan dalam one day fishing. Hasil tangkapan bagan apung di perairan Teluk Palabuhanratu mencakup ikan pelagis kecil. Abstract

Penangkapan ikan terukur adalah penangkapan ikan yang proporsional dan terkendali yang dilakukan di zona penangkapan ikan terukur. Riset ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi tingkat pemanfaatan fasilitas dermaga dan kolam pelabuhan di PPN Palabuhanratu dalam menunjang penangkapan ikan terukur, serta mengevaluasi tingkat penggunaan dermaga melalui perhitungan BOR di PPN Palabuhanratu dalam menunjang penangkapan ikan terukur. Berdasarkan riset diperoleh tingkat pemanfaatan dermaga di PPN Palabuhanratu dari tahun 2019-2023 untuk dermaga 1 yaitu >100%, yang berarti kapasitas dermaga 1 sudah sangat termanfaatkan sehingga tidak dapat menunjang penangkapan ikan terukur. Persentase tingkat pemanfaatan dermaga 2 yaitu <100%, yang berarti kapasitas dermaga 2 belum sepenuhnya termanfaatkan sehingga masih dapat menunjang penangkapan ikan terukur. Tingkat pemanfaatan fasilitas kolam pelabuhan di PPN Palabuhanratu dari tahun 2019-2023 untuk kolam 1 dan kolam 2 yaitu <100%, yang berarti kolam 1 dan 2 belum sepenuhnya termanfaatkan sehingga masih dapat menunjang penangkapan ikan terukur. Nilai BOR di PPN Palabuhanratu dari tahun 2019-2023 untuk dermaga 1 dan 2 yaitu <55%. Nilai BOR tersebut tidak melebihi standar nilai BOR yang disarankan UNCTAD. Sehingga, dermaga 1 dan 2 masih dapat melayani arus kapal dan aktivitas bongkar muat dengan baik, serta masih dapat menunjang penangkapan ikan terukur. Abstract

Shipyard is one of the port facilities that serves as a means of maintaining the ship before returning to fishing activities. PT. Proskuneo Kadarusman shipyard needs to maintain its existence in order to remain the shipyard of choice for ship owners through the speed of processing time of the services provided. This research aims to determine the most efficient time in the ship repair process at PT. Proskuneo Kadarusman shipyard. This research was conducted in January 2025 using a case study method of fishing vessel repair activities based at PPS Nizam Zachman Jakarta. The data obtained was then analyzed through a network with the critical path method and to identify the level of utilization of its facilities. The results showed that routine maintenance or minor repairs of fishing vessels and repairs accompanied by engine repairs can be completed within 4 days with an effectiveness of 66.67% of the time allocated by the shipyard. The utilization level of shipyard facilities from 30 GT fishing vessel repair activities is worth 66.67-100% which that the utilization of the work area is optimal. Factors that affecting ship repair work time are the condition of shipyard facilities, material availability, and the level of ship damage. Abstract

 The mangrove ecosystem of Cemara Kulon Village has the potential for fishery resources which has decreased in line with various anthropogenic activities. This study aims to determine the composition of fish and analyze the status of the fish community structure and its relation to the physical-chemical aspects of the waters in the mangrove ecosystem of Cemara Kulon Village. This research was conducted over a period of three months  in the mangrove ecosystem of Cemara Kulon Village. The method used in this research was  descriptive quantitative purposive and composite sampling at 3 research stations. Parameters observed in this study were relative abundance, diversity, uniformity, dominance, and the relationship between community structure and aquatic physico-chemical parameters. During the study, 508 fish were caught, consisting of 20 species from 16 families. The value of diversity was in the moderate category with a ranged of 1.87-2.50; the uniformity value was in the moderate category with a ranged of 0.41-0.46 and the dominance value was in the low category with a ranged of 0.11-0.22.   Based on the results of the Canonical Correspondence Analysis (CCA) revealed that fish diversity was affected by light transparency and DO, the uniformity of fish was  affected by temperature, and the dominance of fish was affected by ammonia. The fish community structure was categorized as unstable which was influenced by water quality.
