Abstract

This research aims at improving students’ abilities to solve Mathematical Word Problems about LCM and GCD by using the Polya Strategy at Class IV of SD Dian Andalas, Padang. This Class action research applied both qualitative an quantitative approaches. The subject were the teacher as an observer, the researcher as a practitionaire, and the students of the class. The research result shows some improvements. In term of lesson plans, the score increased from 76.79% in cycle I to 92.86 in cycle II. In term of teacher’s aspect, the score enhanced from 75% in cycle I to 90.63% in cycle II. Meanwhile, in term of the student’s aspect, the score increased from 65.63% in cycle I to 90.63% in cycle II. Finally, the student’s learning outcomes enhanced from 76.18 in cycle I to 85.23 in cycle II.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPS di kelas V di SD Gugus 2 Kecamatan Banuhampu Kabupaten Agam pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis eksperimen dan desain penelitian quasi eksperimen. Pengambilan data sampel dilakukan dengan Simple Random Sampling. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 44orang, dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 147 orang. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh t hitung > t tabel yakni 6,3345 > 1,68195 dengan α=0,05 berarti Ho ditolak, sehingga Ha diterima yaitu terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS di kelas V di SDN Gugus 2 Kecamatan Banuhampu Kabupaten Agam.

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Siswa Dalam Pembelajaran IPS Dengan Menggunakan Pendekatan Sains Teknologi Masyarakat Di Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 07 Ampang Kota Padang. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas, dengan pendekatan kulitatif dan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa dan guru kelas IV SD Negeri 07 Ampang Kota Padang. Hasil penelitian pada setiap siklus menunjukkan peningkatan. PPengamatan RPP pada siklus I  80,35% (SB), Siklus II 96,42% (SB). Aspek guru Siklus I 77,2% (B) pada siklus II  95,83% (SB). Aspek siswa diperoleh 77,2% (B) pada siklus I, Siklus II 95,83% (SB). Hasil belajar siswa siklus I 74, pada siklus II menjadi 85,89 (B). Dapat disim[ulkan pendekatan Sains Teknologi Masyarakat dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar  IPS. Di kelas IV SDN 07 Ampang Kota Padang. Kata kunci:pendekatan STM, Hasil Belajar IPS. AbstractThe purpose of this study is to describe the Improvement of Student Learning Outcomes in Social Studies Learning Using the Community Science Technology Approach in Class IV of Public Elementary School 07 Ampang, Padang City. This type of research is classroom action research, with a qualitative and quantitative approach. The subjects of this study were students and teachers in grade IV SD Negeri 07 Ampang, Padang City. The results of the research in each cycle showed an increase. PPP observation in the first cycle 80.35% (SB), Cycle II 96.42% (SB). Teacher aspect Cycle I 77.2% (B) in cycle II 95.83% (SB). Student aspects obtained 77.2% (B) in the first cycle, Cycle II 95.83% (SB). Student learning outcomes in cycle I 74, in cycle II to 85.89 (B). It can be concluded that the Community Technology Science approach can improve social studies learning outcomes. In class IV SDN 07 Ampang, Padang City. Keywords: STM approach, Social Studies Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

This research is motivated because the lessons have not done using innovative model and the learning is still centered on the teacher so that many students are passive and bored to follow the lesson. This resulted in low student learning outcomes and did not meet the predefined learning mastery standard. The purpose of this research is to describe the improvement of science learning with PBL approach in class IV SDN 13 Kecamatan Koto Timur. This research uses qualitative and quantitative approach. The research procedure includes plan, implementation, observation, and reflection. This research was conducted in two cycles and conducted in collaboration between researcher and observer. The techniques used in data collection are observation, PBL approach stages, and tests. The results showed that a) planning cycle I 80.35% and cycle II 96.42%, b) the implementation of the cycle I teacher aspects 76.78% and cycle II 96.42% and student aspects of cycle I 73.21% and cycle II 92.85%, and c) student learning outcomes cycle I with an average of 75.90, and cycle II increased to 83.76. From the results of research conducted can be concluded that by using the approach of PBL can improve student learning outcomes in science learning in grade IV elementary school.  Keywords : IPA; PBL approach

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research  was to describe the improvement of results of IPS students use the model of Cooperative Learning type Team Game Tournament (TGT) grade V SDN Negeri 10 Bandar Buat,  Padang city. This type of Research is classroom action Research by using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The Research subject is the teacher (practitioner) and 27 students. The results showed an increase from cycle I to cycle II by the: a) planning 9%, b) implementation, aspects of the teacher and aspects of students amounted to 17.9%, and c) student learning outcomes amounting to 25.9%. Thus, the application of model Cooperative Larning type Team Game Tournament (TGT) can improve student learning outcomes in learning IPS at class V SDN 10 Bandar Buat, kota Padang   Keywords : Learning Outcomes, Learning social studies, TGT

Abstract

This research aims at finding out the effects of the implementation of the‘Numbered Head Together’ model, also known as a Cooperative Learning toward students learning outcomes of the Civics lesson at class V of SDN 15 Padang Sarai. This quasi experiment applied the nonequivalent control group design. The population of this research was all grade V students of SDN 15 Padang Sarai. Class VBwas chosen as the experiment class while class VCwas the control class by using the purposive sampling technique. Based on the data analysis using the t-test with the significant level of 0.05, it is found that tcount>ttable with the score of tcount= 2.149 while ttable=1.67. Thus, the H1 hypotesis is accepted.                                     Keywords: NHT Model; Learning Outcomes

Abstract

1 This study aims to determine whether the effect of probem - based learning model is significant on the student’ learning outcomes  of  sosial subject. The type of research is quantitative research. This research employed an experimental research of True experimental design. The research design in the Pretest-Posttest ControlDesign Group.Based on the pretest conducted in the experimental class, the average score of the student is 64.75 while score of the control 64,90. After the posttest was given to both classes, the average score obtained by the experimental class is 80,0 whilethe average scoreof the control 74.55. the hypthesis testing obtainet a tcountof 3.54 and ttableof 2.02 with α = 0.05, which means that tcount ttable. Therefore,it is concluded that Problem - Based Learning mode has a significant effect on the student’ Learning outcomes of  sosial science subject in Grade V of  Elementary school Number 13 Parit Putus, Ampek angkek Sub-district, Agam district.  Keyword :PBL Model,Learning outcome IPS

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the improvement of students’ learning result in the civic subject by using the STAD Model for 5th grade students. The subjects of this research were the researcher herself and 20 students. This classroom action research used qualitative and quantitative approaches. The result shows that in planning phases there is improvement from 76,12 in cycle I to 93,5 in cycle II. Teachers’ aspect improves from 68,74 in cycle I to 91,66 in cycle II. students’ aspect improves from 68,74 in cycle I to 91,66 in cycle II. furthermore, the improvement also can be seen from students’ learning result that improves from 76,12 in cycle I to 93,5 in cycle II. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of the STAD Model can improve students’ learning result.    Keywords: PKn; Learning Outcomes; STAD Model

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in integrated thematic learning caused by several aspects. These aspects include aspects of planning and implementing learning. This study aims to describe the increase in student learning outcomes using the model Group Investigation in integrated thematic learning in Class V B of Bandar Buat 09 Elementary School, Padang City. This type of Classroom Action Research uses qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research used two cycles consisting of four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The subjects needed are researchers, homeroom teachers, and up to 24 students. The results of Cycle I lesson plans were 82.9% (C) and then increased in Cycle II by 95.4% (A). Assessment of the learning process in Cycle I reached 87.45% (B) and increased in Cycle II by 93.7% (A). The learning outcomes of the knowledge aspect of Cycle I was 75.7 (C) then rose to 93.9 (A) in Cycle II. Furthermore, the learning outcomes of the skills aspects of Cycle I were 81.3 (C) increasing to 94.7 (A) in Cycle II. So, it can be said the use of the model Group Investigation is able to increase the learning outcomes of students in integrated thematic learning in Class V B of Bandar Buat 09 Elementary School, Padang City.
