Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to produce a product in the form of an Android-based apprenticeship information system in the Department of Electronics Industry, Vocational Secondary School (SMK) Negeri 1 Cikande. The development model used is a Waterfall with a software development method that has four stages: (1) Systems Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Programming, and (4) Testing. The test subjects consisted of 2 teachers and 24 students with data collection techniques in the form of literature and questionnaire studies. Media expert data collection has two aspects, namely: visual appearance and communication, while the user contains three points, including accuracy, visual communication, and data input. The results of user trial through questionnaires distributed to teachers obtained a value of 78.7% and students at 79.86% can be declared feasible. The implication of the results of this study is an Android application that is used by teachers, supervisors, and students for industrial work activities in the Department of Electronics Industry, SMK Negeri 1 Cikande, to make it faster, easier, and more efficient in conducting the internship process.Keywords: Implications, Research and Development, Trial Results, Waterfall.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan produk berupa sistem informasi prakerin berbasis Android di  Jurusan Elektronika Industri SMK Negeri 1 Cikande. Model pengembangan yang digunakan ialah Waterfall dengan metode pengembangan software yang memiliki empat tahapan: (1) Analisis Sistem, (2) Desain, (3) Pemrograman, dan (4) Uji coba. Subjek uji coba berjumlah 2 guru beserta 24 siswa dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa studi pustaka dan kuisioner. Pengumpulan data ahli media memiliki dua aspek yaitu tampilan dan komunikasi visual, sedangkan pengguna berisi tiga aspek diantaranya akurasi, komunikasi visual, dan penginputan data. Hasil ujicoba pengguna melalui  kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada guru memperoleh nilai sebesar 78,7% dan siswa sebesar 79,86% sehingga dapat dinyatakan layak. Implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini ialah sebuah aplikasi Android yang dimanfaatkan oleh guru, pembimbing, dan siswa untuk kegiatan prakerin di Jurusan Elektronika Industri SMK Negeri 1 Cikande, agar lebih cepat, mudah, dan efisien dalam melakukan proses prakerin.

Abstract

The use of electrical energy increases globally every year. The laboratory prediction energy control system (LPECS) predicted energy demand. This research was conducted in the Electrical Engineering Vocational Education laboratory by comparing the artificial neural fuzzy system (ANFIS) with the fuzzy logic. The comparison of methods aimed to determine their reliability in the energy demand prediction systems. The results showed that the minimum value of the target data using the conventional method (actual data) was 44.42%. Meanwhile, the prediction data using the ANFIS method was 44.33%, and the prediction data using the fuzzy method was 59.31%. The maximum value of the conventional ways (actual data) of ANFIS and fuzzy was similar by 77.59%. The RMSE ANFIS value was 0.1355%, the mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) was 0.2791%, and the fuzzy logic was 0.1986%. Thus, the ANFIS is applicable to determine the minimum and maximum values. Meanwhile, fuzzy can only show the maximum value but cannot reach the minimum value properly.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa simulator lift 4 lantai berbasis PLC untuk menunjang proses pembelajaran pada mata kuliah Otomasi Industri. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di jurusan Pendidikan Vokasional Teknik Elektro FKIP Untirta. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa yang sudah selesai mengambil mata kuliah Otomasi Industri. Penelitian pengembangan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan Four-D Models yang dikenalkan oleh Thiagarajan. Langkah-langkah penelitian ini meliputi: (1) Define (Pendefinisian atau analisis permasalahan sampai perumusan tujuan pengembangan), (2) Design (Perancangan media yang akan dihasilkan), (3) Develop (Pengembangan dilakukan setelah melalui uji coba ahli dan penggunan), dan (4) Disseminate (Penyebaran yaitu pengenalan media melalui pelatihan). Hasil penelitian pengembangan ini berupa kebutuhan media pembelajaran yang menunjang pembelajaran materi PLC. Hasil dari pengujian kelayakan Simulator lift 4 lantai berbasis PLC ini yaitu menurut para ahli pada aspek media mendapat skor 37 dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”  dan pada aspek materi mendapat skor 39 dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”. Untuk tingkat kelayakan dari pengguna mendapat skor 34,45 dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”. Kata Kunci: Media Pembelajaran, Simulator lift 4 lantai, Four-D ModelsAbstract: The purpose of this study is to develop learning media in the form of a PLC-based 4-floor elevator simulator to support the learning process in the Industrial Automation course. This research was conducted in the Department of Electrical Engineering Vocational Education FKIP Untirta. Research subjects are students who have finished taking Industrial Automation courses. The research development used in this study uses Four-D Models introduced by Thiagarajan. The steps of this research include: (1) Define (Defining or analyzing the problem until the formulation of the development goals), (2) Design (Design of the media that will be produced), (3) Develop (Development is carried out after going through expert trials and use), and (4) Disseminate (introduction of the media through training). The results of this research development in the form of learning media needs that support the learning of PLC material. The results of the feasibility testing of the PLC-based 4-floor elevator simulator that according to experts in the media aspect got a score of 37 with the category "Very Eligible" and in the material aspect got a score of 39 with the category "Very Eligible". For the level of eligibility of users got a score of 34.45 with the category "Very Eligible". Keywords: Learning Media, 4-floor elevator simulator, Four-D Models.

Abstract

Lemahnya daya tarik siswa pada mata pelajaran mikrokontroler yang menyebabkan penurunan kualitas nilai dari hasil belajar yang diperoleh. Tujuan pengembangan trainer ini untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakan trainer mikrokontroler serta  mengukur tingkat efektivitas trainer pada aspek proses pembelajaran dan hasil peningkatan belajar pada mata pelajaran mikrokontroler. Research and Development (R&D) model ADDIE digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan sampel 22 siswa mengggunakan teknik purposive random sampling. Analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini.  Hasil dari penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa hasil dari validasi media dinyatakan sangat layak dengan skor X= 81, x= 52,5 dan SBx= 10,5 sehingga skor akhir diperoleh 81>63. (2) validasi materi dengan kategori sangat layak dengan skor X= 52,5,  x= 32,5 dan SBx= 6,5 sehingga skor akhir diperoleh 50,45>48. (3) hasil penilaian angket pengguna media trainer mendapatkan hasil sangat layak dengan perolehan X= 72,  = 47,5 dan SBx= 9,5 sehingga skor akhir diperoleh 72>57.

Abstract

This research aimed to explore the results of the evaluation of Electrical Installation Training of the Technical Support Unit of Employment Training Center of Pandeglang Regency based on aspects including context, input, process, product, and outcome, so that recommendation can be obtained for the next training.  This study employed a qualitative descriptive method. The CIPPO evaluation model was used in this study. The results indicated that while the setting, process, and product elements could be classified as satisfactory, the input and outcome aspects remained in the poor category. Nonetheless, even with remaining limitations in terms of input and implementation outcomes, the training program can run well. This electrical installation training can be extended by strengthening program components on the input side, particularly facilities and infrastructure, as well as on the output side, in order to maximize labor absorption and reduce unemployment.

Abstract

Tingginya aktivitas manusia dalam memenuhi kebutuhan ekonomi semakin mengurangi waktu bagi manusia untuk berada di sekitar rumah, baik untuk berkumpul bersama keluarga maupun untuk menjaga keamanan tempat tinggal tersebut, sehingga banyak terjadi hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan seperti kebakaran rumah dan pencurian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang peralatan sistem pemantau jarak jauh menggunakan multisensor yaitu sensor api, sensor asap dan motion sensor yang dapat memantau kondisi rumah dari bahaya kebakaran dan pencurian. Sistem ini mampu memberikan informasi dari kondisi rumah secara jarak jauh dengan menggunakan layanan SMS (Short Message Service). Perancangan alat ini menggunakan mikrokontroller ATMega16 yang berfungsi sebagai sarana pengolahan data berupa Protocol Data Unit (PDU) untuk pengiriman/penerimaan SMS (SMSGateway).Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa respon waktu SMS yang dikirim dari sistem tidak lama, sehingga informasi dapat terkirim dengan cepat kepada handphone user untuk mengetahui keadaan rumah dari bahaya kebakaran dan pencurian. Sistem dapat memberikan informasi SMS kepada 3 nomor handphone secara jarak jauh. Sistem ini juga didukung oleh back-up power supply yang berfungsi sebagai suplai tegangan cadangan untuk menedukung kinerja sistem pada saat listrik utama yang berasal dari PLN terputus.

Abstract

Setiap perusahaan baik perusahaan persero maupun perseorangan mempunyai tujuan untuk mendapatkan laba yang optimal dari usaha yang dijalankan agar dapat menyelesaikan pekerjaan sesuai jadwal yang telah ditentukan. Unsur yang tidak kalah penting dari keberhasilan suatu pengiriman bahan baku dan yang lebih utama adalah menciptakan rasa puas bagi konsumen baik kulitas, biaya atau waktunya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui aktivitas-aktivitas yang merupakan aktivitas kritis pada proses pengerjaan proyek Heat Exchangerpesanan PT. Marvin Mas Teknik dan biaya yang ditimbulkan pada pengerjaan proyek Heat Exchanger dengan durasi pengerjaan awal dan percepatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode CPM. CPM adalah merupakan analisa jaringan kerja yang berusaha mengoptimalkan biaya total proyek melalui pengurangan waktu penyelesaian total proyek yang bersangkutan. Microsoft Proyek dirancang untuk membantu manajer proyek dalam mengembangkan rencana, menetapkan sumber daya untuk tugas-tugas, pelacakan kemajuan, mengelola anggaran dan menganalisis beban kerja.

Abstract

The energy use that is in excess of practicum students’ needs and the disturbed comfort that the practicum students experience when conducting practicums in the Electrical eengineering vocational education (EEVE) laboratory. The main objective in this study was to figure out how to predict and streamline the use of electrical energy in the EEVE laboratory. The model used to achieve this research’s goal was called the adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) model, which was coupled with principal component analysis (PCA) feature selection. The use of PCA in data grouping performance aims to improve the performance of the ANFIS model when predicting energy needs in accordance with the standards set by the campus while still taking students’ confidence in conducting practicum activities during campus operating hours into consideration. After some experiments and tests, very good results were obtained in the training: R=1 in training; minimum RMSE=0.011900; epoch of 100 per iteration; and R=0.37522. In conclusion, the ANFIS model coupled with PCA feature selection was excellent at predicting energy needs in the laboratory while the comfort of the students during practicums in the room remained within consideration.

Abstract

Research by developing an information system is a research that aims to produce and develop an information service system design in the form of website-based rooms lending using PHP as a programming language and MySQL as a database that will be used at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University in-room management as room loan, room loan schedule, room loan data, and room information. This study uses the waterfall development model, with 5 (five) stages of development including the stages of communication, planning, modelling, construction and deployment. This research used Alpha and Beta testing to 3 (three) media experts and 31 (thirty-one) users including 1 (one) admin and 30 (thirty) students. Data collection techniques using interview techniques, observation and dissemination of research instruments. With data analysis in the form of a feasibility test using a Likert scale instrument of 4 (four) assessment scores to media experts and respondents. The final product produced is a website for rooms loaning information system, by average score by media experts (Alpha Testing) of 71.6 with the "very feasible" category. The results of the feasibility test by users (Beta Testing) were 34.32 with the "very feasible" category. Therefore, it can be concluded that the website-based room loan information system is very feasible to use.

Abstract

A simulation is needed to observe and indicate how much preventive measures influence the pandemic flow, controlling and stopping it. This study succeeded in making a stochastic susceptible infected recovered deceased (SIRD) simulation using Python programming language to determine the effectiveness of prevention methods such as masks policy, social distancing, vaccination, quarantine, and lockdown. Every preventive measure is modeled based on an equivalent actual event and every essential aspect that affects the course of the pandemic. A person is represented as a circle moving freely in two-dimensional space, and disease spreads through person-to-person contact. This simulator then tested using parameters to simulate COVID-19 and found significant results between communities that implement preventive measures and those that do not. We found that within 106 days, 284 people were infected, but when five preventive methods are applied for a total of 33 days, only 31 people were infected. Adequate to simulate epidemic events and their prevention measures, this simulator can also be used as a learning tool with factors in epidemic events such as population density, mobility, infection rate, disease mortality, and every effect of each preventive measure. Users can change and influence the simulation course using interactive and straightforward software tools.
