Abstract

This study analyzes the historical, symbolic, and religious moderation values ​​contained in the AI ​​1001 Roundabout in Singkawang. This monument not only functions as an aesthetic element of the city, but also represents social harmony and inter-ethnic tolerance. The existence of statues of the three main ethnic groups, Malay, Chinese, and Dayak, emphasizes the collective identity of the Singkawang community who live in diversity and peace. This study uses a qualitative approach with a hermeneutic method to interpret the symbolic meaning contained in the monument. The results of the study indicate that the AI ​​1001 Roundabout plays a role in strengthening the values ​​of religious moderation, which include tolerance, anti-violence, adaptation to local culture, and love for the homeland. In addition, the existence of this monument also contributes to building collective awareness of the community regarding the importance of pluralism and unity amidst differences. Singkawang's predicate as the Most Tolerant City in Indonesia further strengthens the role of the AI ​​1001 Roundabout as a real symbol of harmony. Thus, this monument is not only an icon of the city, but also a means of education and social integration in creating a harmonious and inclusive environment for the entire community.

Abstract

The partition dimension of a graph is determined by minimum number of vertex partitions such that every vertex has different distances to the ordered partitions. A complete graph is very easy to determine its partition dimension because each vertex has the same distance to other vertices. However, what are the partition dimension if a complete graph is modified so that it becomes a daisy graph. In this paper, we discuss the partition dimension of daisy graphs. Next, we will also provide barbell graph operations on daisy graphs.

Abstract

Electric energy is one of the essential aspects required in daily life. One of the most commonly used sources of electricity today is the steam power plant. However, the energy from this steam requires a special device to be converted into mechanical energy. The turbine used in this design is a steam turbine.The purpose of this design is to create a model of the Tesla turbine as a steam turbine, to determine the rotational speed generated by the Tesla turbine when subjected to varying steam pressures, and to determine the power generated by the generator when the Tesla turbine is subjected to varying steam pressures.The test results showed the highest rotation speed was 681 rpm, condensate water level was 1430 ml, current was 0.5 A, and voltage was 13 V with a constant load of a 12-watt lamp. The highest analysis data obtained were generator power of 0.0065 kW, mass flow rate of 0.02383 kg/s, input power of 24.162 kW, and system efficiency of 0.036%.

Abstract

Hand sanitizer adalah bahan antiseptik berupa gel yang digunakan masyarakat untuk mencuci tangan yang praktis. Penggunaan hand sanitizer lebih efektif dan efisien bila dibanding dengan menggunakan sabun dan air sehingga masyarakat banyak yang tertarik menggunakannya. Pada masa Covid-19 penggunaan hand sanitizer digunakan untuk membersihkan tangan. Meskipun hand sanitizer memiliki kegunaan dan kelebihan yang sangat banyak tetapi masih perlu adanya kegiatan yang dapat mengedukasi masyarakat akan pentingnya menjaga perilaku hidup sehat. Tujuan dilaksanakannya kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk mengedukasi masyarakat akan pentingnya hidup bersih dan sehat guna menghindari penyebaran penyakit yang salah satunya dengan cara mengedukasi penggunaan hand sanitizer. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan di Kelurahan Sukadanaham Kecamatan Rancasari Kota Bandar Lampung oleh dosen Universitas Lampung. Adapun metode kegiatan ini dilakukan beberapa tahap. Tahap pertama yaitu Sosialisali hidup sehat dan tahap kedua adalah membagikan dan menempatkan hand sanitizer pada warga. Hand sanitizer ditempatkan di titik-titik yang sering dilewati oleh warga atau tempat berkumpul warga sehingga warga dapat mengambilnya dengan mudah namun terkontrol. Titik-tersebut diantaranya di Kantor Kelurahan Sukadana Ham, di Masjid Ar-Raudhoh, dan di Posyandu Mawar Sukadana Ham. Kegiatan ini telah terlaksana dengan baik dan masyarakat telah teredukasi akan pentingnya hidup bersih dan sehat guna menghindari penyebaran penyakit sejak dini.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to analyze the integration of digital media in Islamic education in early childhood in kindergarten in Pontianak City, West Kalimantan Province by highlighting that teachers currently still have challenges in using technology.Design/methods/approach – This study uses qualitative research with a case study approach through observation, interviews, and documentation. This research was conducted in the city of Pontianak, West Kalimantan Province from September 11 to September 20, 2024. Data analysis includes data collection, condensation, presentation, and conclusion.Findings – The findings of this study in integrating digital media in Islamic education are still difficult for teachers so that in classroom learning activities they still use conventional methods in educating early childhood in kindergarten. In the learning process, the educational environment does not support the use of technology in learning and play activities in kindergarten. However, there is an opportunity to realize the integration of digital media in Islamic education in kindergarten because teachers consider this integration very important in learning in kindergarten.Research implications/limitations – Technology in Islamic education has a significant impact on the learning process for early childhood in kindergarten. This study is still limited to qualitative research, so other methods are needed to add to the findings related to technology in early childhood.Practical implications – This study shows that the integration of digital media in early childhood education in kindergarten still has challenges in using technology. teachers still experience difficulties, so that in classroom learning activities they still use conventional methods in educating early childhood in kindergarten. In addition, in the learning process, the educational environment does not support the use of technology in learning and playing activities in kindergarten.Originality/value – This research serves as an initial foundation for the development of a digital-based curriculum that is relevant to Islamic values and the characteristics of early childhood development. This research provides a new perspective on the utilization of digital media in Islamic education to improve the quality of learning and the relevance of teaching methods in kindergarten.Paper type Case study

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers' perspectives on implementing inclusive education at Public Elementary Schools (SDN) in Sungai Rengas Village. The phenomenon of inclusivity in education requires the active role of teachers, including PAI teachers, in shaping the character of all students, including those with special needs. The problem arises when understanding and support for implementing inclusive education in practice remain limited. This study offers a solution that strengthens PAI teachers' competencies through continuous training and collaboration among relevant stakeholders. The study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving PAI teachers and related parties at the school. PAI teachers have a reasonably good understanding of the concept of inclusive education. Their main challenges include a lack of training, limited facilities and infrastructure, and minimal support from assistants. Nevertheless, the teachers are firmly committed to providing fair and inclusive learning services. PAI teachers at SDN Sungai Rengas show good awareness and commitment to inclusive education despite facing various obstacles to its implementation. This research also provides empirical insights into the roles and challenges of PAI teachers in the context of inclusive education. The findings can be a foundation for developing teacher training policies and strengthening stakeholder collaboration to support effective inclusive education.

Abstract

An electrical energy audit is a systematic process of evaluating energy consumption in a building or facility in order to identify energy efficiency and potential savings. energy use and potential savings. This research aims to conduct an electrical energy audit in order to determine the intensity of energy consumption (IKE) and provide technical recommendations that support energy efficiency in the office of the Bantaeng Vocational and Productivity Training Center. The energy audit was conducted by collecting electricity consumption data from PLN billing records as well as direct measurements in the field. The analysis focused on the calculation of Energy Consumption Intensity (ECI) to assess the energy performance of the building. The audit results show that the intensity of energy consumption (IKE) for one year, the value of energy consumption intensity (IKE) for one year, the value is 12.8 kWh/m2/year which means it is still below the ASEAN-USAID standard of 240 kWh/m2/year. Likewise, compared to the IKE standard according to the Regulation of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources No. IX. Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Regulation No. 3 of 2025 which is <99 kWh/m2/year with a total building area of 11,644 m2 > 5000 m2 is categorized as very efficient.

Abstract

Keluarga memainkan peran mendasar dalam pembentukan masyarakat yang harmonis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran pendidikan Al-Qur'an, khususnya melalui Surah At-Tahrim ayat 6, dalam membangun ketahanan keluarga Muslim untuk mencegah konflik dan perceraian. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, melibatkan wawancara terstruktur dengan kepala keluarga dan tokoh agama. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan software NVivo 12 Plus untuk mengidentifikasi pola-pola utama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran kepala keluarga sangat penting dalam memberikan bimbingan, pendidikan agama, dan teladan positif. Pendidikan keluarga, baik formal maupun informal, berfokus pada nilai-nilai aqidah, syariat, dan akhlak yang membentuk fondasi ketahanan keluarga. Kolaborasi antara suami dan istri juga diidentifikasi sebagai elemen penting dalam menjaga keharmonisan rumah tangga. Implementasi ajaran Surah At-Tahrim ayat 6 memperkuat kesadaran akan tanggung jawab bersama dalam menjaga keluarga dari perbuatan yang dapat merusak. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pendekatan preventif melalui pendidikan agama dapat mendukung terciptanya keluarga yang sakinah, mawaddah, warahmah, serta mengurangi angka perceraian.

Abstract

Catalan numbers, denoted by Cn, are generally defined by the equation Cn = 1/(n+1) (2nn) with n ≥ 0 and n ∈ ℤ. Catalan numbers have forms that can be determined through generaland recursive forms. Catalan numbers have several applications to various combinatorialproblems, such as in recursive analysis and the application of combinatorial theory topartitions that can form Catalan numbers. The odd numbers are defined as integers that arenot divisible by two, expressed in the form {2k + 1; k ∈ ℤ} . Meanwhile, even numbers aredefined as integers that are divisible by two, expressed in the form {2k; k ∈ ℤ} . In this studywe discuss the noncrossing partitions of positive odd numbers and positive even numbers.The results show those the noncrossing partitions have relationship with Catalan numbers.

Abstract

Exergy analysis is application of the second law thermodynamics which provides information about large exergy, exergy efficiency, destruction, and destruction efficiency in each component of PLTU so can be reference for improvement and optimization in an effort to reduce losses and increase efficiency. The exergy value obtained from calculating mass flowrate, enthalpy, ambient temperature, and entropy. The destruction value is obtained from difference between input exergy value and exergy output. The destruction exergy value from comparison between output exergy value to input exergy value, and destruction efficiency value from comparison of destruction value to total destruction value of PLTU components. The results showed that the largest exergy occurred in boilers, namely 778.225 MW in 2018, 788.824 MW in 2019, and 796.824 MW in 2020, lowest exergy value in CP was 0.160 MW in 2018, 0.176 MW in 2019, and 0.160 MW in 2020. The largest destruction occurred in boilers, namely 163.970 MW with destruction efficiency 79.242% in 2018, 179.450 MW with destruction efficiency 82.111% in 2019, and 199.637 MW with destruction efficiency 83.448% in 2020, lowest exergy destruction value at CP, namely 0.056 MW with destruction efficiency 0.027% in 2018, 0.059 MW with destruction efficiency 0.027% in 2019, and 0.056 MW with destruction efficiency 0.023% in 2020. The exergy efficiency occurred in HPH 2, amounting to 94.750% in 2018, 95.187 % in 2019, and 94.728% in 2020, while lowest of exergy efficiency was in LPH 1, namely 43.637 MW in 2018, 33.512 MW in 2019, and 38.764 MW in 2020.
