Abstract

  This study aims to determine the use of the Kambang Iwak Recreational Park as a means and infrastructure for community tourism sports in Palembang City. Kambang Iwak is one of the city parks that has an important role as a green open space as well as a place for recreation and physical activity. This research is motivated by increasing public awareness of the importance of a healthy lifestyle and the need for public spaces that can support these activities. The research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a field approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through direct observation, interviews with informants, documentation, and the distribution of questionnaires to randomly selected park visitors. The results of the study show that most people use Kambang Iwak Park for sports activities such as jogging, cycling, morning gymnastics, and other leisure activities. Park facilities such as jogging tracks, night lighting, children's play areas, and a beautiful natural atmosphere are the main supporting factors that make people feel comfortable and safe when doing activities. Respondents also stated that the park made a positive contribution to their physical and mental health. However, there are several suggestions related to improving facilities, managing cleanliness, and providing space for sports community activities

Abstract

Kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat terkait perbedaan antara obat generik dan obat paten menimbulkan rendahnya kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap obat generik yang dianggap murah dan berkualitas rendah. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat melalui edukasi dalam bentuk bertajuk “Obat Generik vs Paten: Fakta, Mitos, dan Bukti Ilmiah”. Kegiatan dilaksanakan secara daring melalui zoom dan melibatkan 100 peserta yang terdiri dari masyarakat umum. Materi mencakup definisi, regulasi, proses produksi, dan mitos seputar obat generik dan paten, serta uji pretest dan posttest untuk mengukur efektivitas penyampaian materi. Hasil posttest menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta, dengan peserta bernilai tinggi meningkat dari 74% menjadi 79% dan peserta bernilai rendah menurun dari 9% menjadi 5%. Edukasi yang efektif dan komunikatif ini diharapkan dapat mengubah persepsi negatif masyarakat dan mendukung penggunaan obat generik dalam sistem kesehatan nasional.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan jump to box terhadap peningkatan power otot tungkai pada siswa yang mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler bola voli di SMK Negeri 1 OKU. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksperimental menggunakan model one group pretest-posttest design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 40 orang, yang dipilih menggunakan teknik total sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur power otot tungkai adalah tes vertical jump. Data hasil pretest dan posttest dianalisis menggunakan uji-t (paired sample t-test) untuk mengetahui signifikansi perbedaan yang terjadi sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan pada power otot tungkai setelah diberikan latihan jump to box, dengan nilai signifikansi (p) < 0,05. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa latihan jump to box memberikan pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap peningkatan power otot tungkai pada siswa ekstrakurikuler bola voli di SMK Negeri 1 OKU.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether or not there is an influence of the PMRI approach on the problem-solving abilities of fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 93 Palembang. The research method used is experimental research. The subjects in this study were fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 93 Palembang. The research sample was 26 students, and the population was 52 students. The data collection techniques used were tests and documentation. From the results of the analysis carried out by the author, the influence of the Indonesian realistic mathematics education approach on students' problem-solving abilities on flat geometry material includes: understanding problems, planning problem solving, calculating, and rechecking. Based on the Independent Sample T-Test test, it was obtained that the t-value was 7.327> t-table value of 1.671, thus it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The results of the study conducted by the researcher showed that there was a significant influence between the use of the Indonesian realistic mathematics education approach on the problem-solving abilities of fifth-grade students on flat geometry material. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 26 siswa, dan populasi sebanyak 52 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan tes dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil analisis yang dilakukan penulis, bahwa pengaruh pendekatan pendidikan matematika realistik indonesia terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa pada materi bangun datar, meliputi: memahami masalah, merencanakan pemecahan masalah, melakukan perhitungan, dan memeriksa kembali. Berdasarkan uji Independent Sampel T-Test diperoleh bahwa nilai t hitung 7,327 > nilai t tabel 1,671 maka dengan demikian dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha dierima. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara penggunaan pendekatan pendidikan matematika realistik Indonesia terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas V pada materi bangun datar

Abstract

Hadith learning in Islamic boarding schools plays a crucial role in shaping students' understanding of Islam. However, conventional learning methods often face challenges in terms of effectiveness and accessibility. This study aims to develop a mobile learning application as an innovative and interactive medium for Hadith learning at Muhammadiyah Kualamadu Islamic Boarding School, Medan. The research method used is Research and Development (RD) with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model. The application is designed to provide easy access to Hadith materials, interactive features such as quizzes and discussion forums, and multimedia support to enhance students' comprehension. The research findings indicate that this mobile learning application effectively improves students' engagement and understanding of Hadith. Therefore, the implementation of this application is expected to be an innovative solution to enhance the quality of Hadith learning in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh small sided games terhadap perilaku keterampilan teknik dasar passing dalam permainan futsal di SMA Negeri 5 Palembang. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan passing yang di miliki siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantatif dengan desain eksperimen semu tipe One Group Pretest-Posttest. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari kelas X dan XI sebagai peserta. Perlakuan dierikan selama 16 kali pertemuan dalam ekstrakulikuler futsal. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 20 siswa ekstrakulikuler futsal yang dperoleh dengan pendekatan purposive sampling. Adapun instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah modifikasi tes mengoper bola rendah. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes praktik sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Analisis data mencakup nilai rata-rata, gain score, dan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata meningkat dari 6,1 (pretest) menjadi 7,1 (posttest), maka diperoleh angka perbedaan rata-rata 1, dengan gain score rata-rata sebesar 2,17 poin dan persentase peningkatan 16,39%. Hasil uji t menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 2,086, yang menandakan bahwa pendekatan yang digunakan memberikan efek signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan passing siswa. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa “Ada pengaruh small sided games terhadap keterampilan passing dalam permainan futsal pada siswa ekstrakuliler futsal di SMA Negeri 5 Palembang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil belajar siswa terhadap pelajaran IPAS masih berada dibawah KKTP. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Game Based Learning berbantuan Educaplay terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPAS Kelas V SD di SD Negeri 99 Palembang. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode eksperimen dengan desain penelitian ekperimen yang digunakan adalah Pre-Experimental Design dalam bentuk One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Berdasarkan dari hasil hipotesis uji Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test dilihat dari Mean Ranks Positive Ranks mengalami peningkatan sebesar 10,50 dan Negative Ranks tidak mengalami penurunan yaitu sebesar 0,00 dimana artinya terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar IPAS siswa setelah mendapatkan treatment, serta diperoleh nilai sig. (2-tailed) 0,001 ≤ 0,05, maka dapat dinyatakan Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Dengan demikian, sesuai kriteria pengujian hipotesis jika Ha diterima maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara penggunaan model Game Based Learning (GBL) berbantuan Educaplay terhadap hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas V.

Abstract

This study investigates the critical roles of government actions and tourists’ perceptions in shaping the development and sustainability of sports tourism at Belanting River Tubing in Ogan Komering Ulu, South Sumatra, Indonesia. Employing a qualitative research methodology, data were gathered through semi-structured interviews, focus groups, and field observations, revealing several significant issues. The findings underscore considerable infrastructural deficiencies, including poor road conditions and inadequate facilities hindering the overall tourist experience. Despite various government initiatives promoting the destination, there remains a noticeable gap between planning and practical implementation, causing frustration among local stakeholders. Safety concerns, such as the absence of adequately trained guides and insufficient emergency protocols, further detract from the destination’s attractiveness. The current promotional strategies need to be improved, with many tourists only learning about the site through word-of-mouth rather than practical marketing efforts. At the same time, visitors’ express appreciation for the natural beauty and adventurous opportunities that the challenges above overshadow. Balancing River Tubing offers these positive aspects. The study highlights the necessity of increased community involvement for sustainable tourism development, noting that residents require more training and support. It concludes with recommendations to enhance infrastructure, improve safety measures, strengthen promotional activities, and foster community engagement to ensure the long-term sustainability and success of sports tourism at Belanting River Tubing.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the shooting accuracy of athletes at the Ramayana Futsal Club using quantitative descriptive research methods combined with survey techniques. The study focused on a total population of 25 athletes who participated in training sessions at the club. A total sampling approach was employed, meaning all 25 athletes were included in the study sample to ensure comprehensive data collection and analysis. The primary objective was to evaluate the shooting accuracy levels among these athletes and categorize their performance. The results of the research revealed that a significant portion of the athletes demonstrated vital shooting accuracy. Specifically, 40% of the participants achieved shooting accuracy within the outstanding category, indicating a high level of proficiency. Another 48% of the athletes fell into the excellent category, reflecting a solid but slightly less optimal shooting performance. However, 12% of the athletes were categorized as having poor shooting accuracy, suggesting areas that need improvement. From these findings, it can be concluded that while the overall shooting accuracy of the Ramayana Futsal athletes is generally good, there is room for improvement. The results highlight the need for a thorough analysis of shooting accuracy factors and suggest that a specialized training model should be developed. Such a model would aim to address the specific deficiencies and enhance the shooting skills of athletes, thereby improving their overall performance on the field.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the delayed onset of muscle soreness in the Gatrocnemius muscle after the pre-competition for the 2024 POPDA Batam men’s and women’s basketball teams. This research is a descriptive study using a survey method. The sample for this study was 24 people consisting of 12 male athletes and 12 female athletes. The research instrument used was the results of Delayed Onset Muscle Sores (DOMS) measurements carried out after 48 hours of pre-exercise. The data analysis used is descriptive statistics. The results of the research were that those experiencing very severe pain were athletes presenting (0%) and female presentations (0%), conditions of severe pain for male presentations (66.6%) and female presentations (50%), moderate pain conditions for male presentations (25%) and presentation daughter (25%), mild pain condition of presentation son (8.3%) and presentation daughter (25%), non-pain condition of presentation son (0%) and presentation daughter (0%).
