Abstract

Pada dunia industri dan automatisasi, kebutuhan akan sistem dan kontroler yang baik, efektif dan efisien adalahsuatu keharusan. Sebagai suatu kontroler PLC dapat memberikan solusi yang diinginkan. PLC memiliki kelebihan,diantaranya dapat diprogram, mudah diprogram, program dapat diubah-ubah, sederhana dalam wiring, kompak,lebih kuat terhadap kondisi lingkungan dan mudah dalam troubleshooting.Dalam penelitian ini , PLC digunakan sebagai kontroler pada sistem mesin daur ulang plastik bekas. Dimana nantinya akan menghasilkan biji plastik dengan proses produksi menggunakan auto loader sebagai pengisian bahan baku secara automatis, heater untuk melelehkan bahan, screw untuk membawa bahan dari heater ke nozzle, pompa membuat sirkulasi air tetap terjaga suhunya dan penarik, menarik tali plastik untuk dipotong. Borland Delphi 6.0digunakan sebagai sistem monitoring, yang dapat mengontrol dan memonitor sistem kerja mesin daur ulang secarareal time.Dari pembuatan dan analisa didapat hasil bahwa dengan menggunakan kontrol automasi akan mempermudah operator untuk memonitoring sistem kerja mesin secara real time. Delphi dapat berkomunikasi dengan baik pada PLC sebagai pembuatan visual simulasi mesin.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKebutuhan listrik di Kalimantan Selatan dan Tengah menjadi semakin bertambah dikarenakan meningkatnya jumlah penduduk dan ekonomi serta mahalnya biaya pembangkitan listrik. Tujuan penelitian ialah meminimalkan biaya pembangkitan termal dan memecahkan permasalahan ekonomi dan emisi. Penelitian menggunakan metode Dragonfly algortihm yang mengkaji tentang optimasi ekonomi dan emisi pada PLTU Asam-asam, Pulang Pisau dan PLTA Riam Kanan dengan membuat program dengan menginputkan Cost Function dan Emission Function. Didapatkan rata-rata biaya pembangkitan dan emisi dari tanggal 1 – 4 September 2020 yaitu pada kasus 1 biaya pembangkit sebesar Rp 335.855.120 dan emisi sebesar 628,6 ton, pada kasus 2 biaya pembangkit sebesar Rp 251.891.340 dan emisi sebesar 943 ton, pada kasus 3 biaya pembangkit sebesar Rp 167.935.460 dan emisi sebesar 1257,3ton. Faktor pembobotan akan mempengaruhi biaya pembangkitan dan emisi yang dihasilkan.Kata kunci: Pembangkit Listrik, Dragonfly algortihm, Faktor Pembobotan ABSTRACTThe demand for electricity in South and Central Kalimantan is increasing due to the increasing population and economy as well as the high cost of generating electricity. The research objective is to minimize the cost of thermal generation and solve economic and emission problems. This research uses the Dragonfly algorithm method which examines the economic optimization and emissions at LTU Asam-Asam, Pulang Pisau and PLTA Riam Kanan by making a program by inputting Cost Function and Emission Function. Obtained the average cost of generation and emissions from September 1 - 4 2020, namely in case 1 the generator cost is IDR 335,855,120 and the emission is 628.6 tons, in case 2 the generator cost is IDR 251,891,340 and the emission is 943 tons, in case 3 the cost of the generator is Rp. 167,935,460 and the emission is 1257.3 tonnes. The weighting factor will affect the cost of generation and the resulting emissions.Keywords: Power Plant, Dragonfly algorithm, Weighting Factor

Abstract

Hysteresis is widely applied in converter control techniques because of its simplicity and stability. This paper discusses hysteresis current control applied to single-phase active filters. Active filters are designed for harmonic mitigation and reactive power compensation. Simulation and comparison of conventional hysteresis control (constant hysteresis band - variable frequency) and adaptive hysteresis (variable hysteresis band - constant frequency) on active filters were carried out. Simulations were carried out using MATLAB Simulink. The simulation results show that the active filter can work well when using conventional or adaptive hysteresis current control. This is indicated by a decrease in the THDI of the source current and an increase in the power factor on the source side. From the simulations carried out, with a maximum source current THDI target of 5% according to the IEEE 519 standard, the hysteresis band required for conventional hysteresis control is 0.5 A, and the switching frequency required for adaptive hysteresis control is 120 kHz. By increasing the power factor to unity, it results in a reduction in reactive losses in the system. These findings are significant in advancing more efficient power quality control strategies, reducing harmonic distortion and improving power factor in electrical systems. Such improvements contribute directly to the development of more sustainable and resilient electrical infrastructures.

Abstract

The development of electric vehicles is in rapid progress, especially in terms of the main engine drive. The use of solenoid can be applied as an alternative driving electric vehicles instead of a dc motor as the main driver. In this paper, the prototype solenoid machine is applied by using 4 inductors controlled by an Arduino microcontroller and the solenoid driver based on application of Mosfet L298N. The prototype runs successfully. Based on the experimental results, the greater the frequency value applies to the driver, the faster the solenoid moves. The acceleration occures due to the electromagnetic field which is getting stronger and the field is proportional to the frequency value, so the solenoid movement is faster.

Abstract

To reduce damage to electrical power equipment, protective equipment is needed that is designed as well as possible, so that the protection relay can isolate faults in parts of the distribution network as fast as possible. This backup protection need appropriate relay coordination, so that could protect, if it happens of a primary protection failure. To provide the best service to customers, it is necessary to coordinate the protection relay in the electric power system. To provide protection, the protection relay in the electric power system must be properly coordinated. In this study, we will make a simulation to calculate the TDS and Ipickup values of the overcurrent relay using a artificial neural network backpropagation with software Matlab R2016a. The results of this study can determine the value of TDS (Time Dial Setting) and Ipickup (Current pickup) by overcome the main problem of overcurrent relay protection coordination at the Ammurea II Factory PT. Petrokimia Gresik using a method artificial neural network backpropagation. And, also obtained the results of the minimum value of MSE (Mean Square Error) with the process using the method artificial neural network backpropagation.
