Abstract

The development of electric vehicles is in rapid progress, especially in terms of the main engine drive. The use of solenoid can be applied as an alternative driving electric vehicles instead of a dc motor as the main driver. In this paper, the prototype solenoid machine is applied by using 4 inductors controlled by an Arduino microcontroller and the solenoid driver based on application of Mosfet L298N. The prototype runs successfully. Based on the experimental results, the greater the frequency value applies to the driver, the faster the solenoid moves. The acceleration occures due to the electromagnetic field which is getting stronger and the field is proportional to the frequency value, so the solenoid movement is faster.

Abstract

To reduce damage to electrical power equipment, protective equipment is needed that is designed as well as possible, so that the protection relay can isolate faults in parts of the distribution network as fast as possible. This backup protection need appropriate relay coordination, so that could protect, if it happens of a primary protection failure. To provide the best service to customers, it is necessary to coordinate the protection relay in the electric power system. To provide protection, the protection relay in the electric power system must be properly coordinated. In this study, we will make a simulation to calculate the TDS and Ipickup values of the overcurrent relay using a artificial neural network backpropagation with software Matlab R2016a. The results of this study can determine the value of TDS (Time Dial Setting) and Ipickup (Current pickup) by overcome the main problem of overcurrent relay protection coordination at the Ammurea II Factory PT. Petrokimia Gresik using a method artificial neural network backpropagation. And, also obtained the results of the minimum value of MSE (Mean Square Error) with the process using the method artificial neural network backpropagation.

Abstract

This study presents a bibliometric analysis of research trends on the Internet of Things in security and monitoring systems using publications indexed in the Scopus database. The objective is to map the intellectual structure, thematic evolution, and collaboration patterns that shape the development of this research field. Bibliographic data were analyzed using VOSviewer to visualize keyword co-occurrence, temporal trends, density distribution, co-authorship networks, institutional collaboration, and country partnerships. The findings indicate that the internet of things serves as the central research hub, closely linked with machine learning, cybersecurity, authentication, and monitoring system architectures. Temporal analysis shows a transition from foundational intrusion detection and network security topics toward intelligent, application-oriented solutions supported by blockchain and data privacy frameworks. Density mapping highlights the convergence of AI-driven analytics with real-time monitoring environments, while collaboration analysis reveals strong research contributions from India and expanding global partnerships involving the United States, United Kingdom, China, and European countries. The results suggest that the field is evolving toward adaptive and context-aware security frameworks embedded within domain-specific monitoring applications such as healthcare and smart agriculture. This study contributes by providing a comprehensive overview of the knowledge structure and future research directions in IoT-based security and monitoring systems.

Abstract

The use of electricity without following standards, safety, and regulations can lead to inefficiency and ongoing crises. This study aims to analyze efficiency, design strategies, and implement an Energy Management System (EMS) based on ISO 50001 at the Islamic University of Kalimantan. The methods involve literature review, observation, surveys, and primary and secondary data collection. An energy audit in three buildings on the UNISKA campus revealed an energy consumption intensity (IKE) of 16.16 kWh/m2/month, which is inefficient according to the 2012 DEPDIKNAS standards. The Gap-Analyst method was used to calculate the difference between actual and desired IKE, resulting in a difference value of 4.52 kWh/m2. With IKE savings of 11.64 kWh/m2/month, the total saved cost amounts to Rp. 81,839,250, achieving a 27.93% reduction. UNISKA management is expected to implement recommendations and the ISO 50001-based Energy Management System for energy efficiency.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and Edge Computing implementation on the operational performance of manufacturing companies in Central Java. A quantitative research approach was employed, involving 150 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through a structured Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using SPSS version 25, including descriptive statistics, correlation, and multiple linear regression. The results indicate that both IIoT and Edge Computing have a significant positive effect on operational performance, explaining 54% of the variance. Specifically, IIoT enhances real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, and overall production efficiency, while Edge Computing reduces latency and accelerates data-driven decision-making. The findings provide practical insights for manufacturing managers seeking to optimize operations through advanced digital technologies.
