Abstract

The effectiveness of law in legal action or reality can be known if someone states that a legal rule has succeeded or failed to achieve its objectives, then it is usually known whether its influence has succeeded in regulating certain attitudes or behaviors so that they are in accordance with its objectives or not. The effectiveness of law means that the effectiveness of law will be highlighted from the objectives to be achieved, namely the effectiveness of law. One of the efforts that is usually made so that society complies with legal rules is to include its sanctions. The research method used in this thesis research is empirical legal research. This empirical legal research is also often referred to as sociological legal research or field research, which starts from primary data, namely data obtained directly from the community as the first source through field research activities. Primary data is obtained through observation and interview activities. Based on the results of research on the effectiveness of implementing diversion for children who commit crimes in the juvenile criminal justice system, it can be implemented well, even quite a few cases have been successfully diverted, although there are still cases that fail to be diverted because both parties do not agree, so it can be said that diversion has failed, but it can be concluded that diversion is one of the effective ways that can be done in resolving children's cases. It is recommended that law enforcement efforts for children's cases be more assertive and provide a deterrent effect so that it can reduce crimes committed by children, and several factors must also be given more attention, both from parents, the child's social environment, and a strong faith must be instilled in children so that children can protect themselves from the desire to commit crimes that should not be committed by adults or even the children themselves.

Abstract

This study addresses the legal and implementation gap in empowering coastal women through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs in Indonesia. Despite the mandate under Article 74 of Law Number 40 of 2007 and its derivative local regulation in Aceh (Governor Regulation No. 65 of 2016), which obligates companies to execute CSR initiatives, these programs have failed to effectively strengthen the economic role of women in coastal fishing communities. Focusing on the Ujong Blang beach area in Lhokseumawe, Aceh, this research aims to analyze and propose a viable model for enhancing women's participation in supporting family economics via CSR. Employing an empirical juridical method, the research utilizes primary data from field observations and structured interviews in Ujong Blang, supplemented by secondary data from literature and regulatory reviews. The analysis reveals that existing CSR frameworks lack a targeted mechanism for women's economic empowerment in the studied coastal context. The study concludes that a deliberate partnership model is necessary to create synergy between corporate CSR obligations and the specific socioeconomic needs of coastal women. The findings offer a critical evaluation of current practices and provide a foundational recommendation for designing more effective, inclusive, and legally coherent CSR interventions aimed at strengthening the role of women in coastal family economies. Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of empathy and legal awareness on anti-bullying behavior among Senior High School (SLTA) students in the Kutacane area, Southeast Aceh Regency. This study employed a quantitative approach with an ex-post facto correlational design. Primary data were collected using a closed-ended questionnaire measured on a Likert scale and distributed to respondents selected through proportionate stratified random sampling to ensure representation across grade levels and school types. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression after conducting the required classical assumption tests. The findings indicate that empathy has a positive and significant effect on anti-bullying behavior. Legal awareness also has a positive and significant effect on anti-bullying behavior. Simultaneously, empathy and legal awareness significantly influence anti-bullying behavior, indicating that both internal emotional sensitivity and understanding of legal norms contribute to students’ efforts to reject and prevent bullying. The study concludes that strengthening anti-bullying behavior requires educational interventions that integrate empathy development with legal literacy. Therefore, educational institutions are encouraged to implement emotional intelligence and empathy training alongside legal literacy programs involving relevant authorities to strengthen students’ awareness of bullying prevention and the legal consequences of violent behavior.
