Abstract

This study aims to develop interactive multimedia based on problem solving using articulate storyline on fluid material in class XI Phase F. The research wants to test the validity and practicality of interactive multimedia using articulate storyline. The research method used R&D with Plomp’s model. Plomp's model consist of three phases, there are preliminary phase, prototyping phase, assesment phase. The subjects of this research were the physics lecturer of physics department, physics teacher and students in class XII IPA 9 MAN 2 Padang. The instruments used to collect data consisted of interview sheets with teacher, observation sheets, self-evalution questionnaire, expert review, one to one and small group questionnaire sheets. The data obtained were analyzed using validity index proposed by Aiken and practicality data using category interval. The result of this study show that the development of interactive multimedia using Articulate Storyline was valid with score 0.91, practical by students with score 95.25% and practical by teachers with score 95.83. Conclusion of this study explains that the interactive multimedia based on problem solving using articulate storyline is valid and practical toward learning process.

Abstract

Clay in West Sumatra has been developed as an industrial material, one of which is a natural dye for batik. The use of clay as a natural dye was previously known to have magnetic minerals contained in clay so as to produce color and resistance to fabrics. Currently, no one has investigated the types of magnetic minerals found in clay and their effect on color resistance in batik cloth, so this study aims to determine the types of magnetic minerals in clay and their effect on color resistance in batik cloth. Clay samples were taken from two areas in West Sumatra, namely Pesisir Selatan and Sijunjung. Samples were characterized from the extraction of clay using X-Ray Diffraction, where measurements were taken before and after the dyeing process on the fabric. The results showed that the types of magnetic minerals found in the clay before and after dyeing the fabric were Maghemite. In addition, the non-magnetic mineral found in clay is Quartz. The color resistance test on the CL-SPPS-210314-2 fabric sample did not change color, on the contrary, the CL-PSBSJJ-210421 fabric sample experienced quite a change from the original color of the fabric or before washing.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan E-LKM interaktif pada materi kinematika berbasis Dual space inquiry dengan tujuan meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis murid dan memastikan validitasnya. Ini didasarkan pada fakta bahwa penggunaan bahan ajar digital dalam pembelajaran fisika belum optimal. Studi ini menerapkan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D), yang terdiri dari model 4D, yang terdiri dari tahap definei, design, develop dan disseminate. Penelitian ini menggunakan lembar validasi yang dinilai oleh lima ahli dengan indeks Aiken's V. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa E-LKM interaktif memperoleh nilai validitas rata-rata sebesar 0,9 dan termasuk dalam kategori valid untuk setiap komponen yang dinilai. Oleh karena itu, disarankan bahwa E-LKM interaktif pada materi kinematika berbasis dual space inquiry dapat digunakan sebagai bahan ajar yang mendukung pembelajaran fisik dan meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis murid.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the need for developing a Dual Space Inquiry (DSI)-based interactive Electronic Student Worksheets (E-SWS) on kinematics to stimulate students’ critical thinking skills. The study was conducted at the define stage of the 4D development model, including front-end analysis, learner analysis, task analysis, concept analysis, and learning objective formulation. Data were collected through observations, interviews, questionnaires, document analysis, and critical thinking tests involving one physics teacher and 30 Grade XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Tigo Nagari. The results showed that students’ critical thinking skills were very low across all indicators. In addition, learning remained teacher-centered, student involvement in inquiry activities was limited, and the use of digital teaching materials was not yet optimal. These findings indicate the need for a DSI-based interactive E-SWS that supports inquiry-based and technology-integrated learning to stimulate students’ critical thinking skills in kinematics
