Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tren studi al-Quran pada Jurusan Magister studi al-Qur'an dan Sunnah, Faculty of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences IIUM pada tahun 2009-2013. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan konten analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada 33 tesis kajian al-Qur'an pada tahun 2009-2013. Dengan fokus pada empat objek penelitian. Lima tesis terkait dengan kajian ‘ulūm al-Qur`ān, 23 tesis terkait kajian tafsir, tiga tesis terkait metode penafsiran, dan dua tesis terkait kajian kelembagaan. Saat ini tren tema kajian tesis al-Qur'an didominasi kajian tematik isu-isu kontemporer, sebanyak 63%. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh misi utama Magister Ilmu al-Qur'an dan As-Sunnah IIUM adalah menjadikan al-Qur'an dan Sunnah sebagai solusi permasalahan sosial dengan menggunakan pendekatan integritas antara ilmu-ilmu keislaman dan interdisipliner, antara studi klasik dan modern.

Abstract

The Teaching of Resilience in the Al-Qur'an Surah Yusuf to Face the Covid-19 PandemicThis research aims to investigate the teaching of resilience in Surah Yusuf and its implementation for Indonesia amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. This study employs library research method with qualitative descriptive approach. Content analysis theory was used to analyse the text of Surah Yusuf and relevant commentaries, while the positive psychology approach is used for the implementation of resilience teachings to individuals and society. The results indicate that the concept of resilience in Surah Yusuf is generally built on three main factors including piety (I have), patience (I am), and iḥsān (I can). The aspects of resilience in Surah Yusuf which can be implemented amidst the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia are patience, gratitude, resignation, optimism, innovation, solution, self-confidence, reputation, empathy, forgiveness, trust, professionalism, and prayer. In the resilience teaching in Surah Yusuf, the role of spiritual values in the process of building resilience is more decisive, when compared to western model resilience. The higher the individual's spiritual value, the stronger the level of resilience

Abstract

Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami konstruksi pemikiran keagamaan tentang nilai-nilai nasionalisme dan wawasan nasionalisme yang terdapat pada para penceramah di masjid Agung Surakarta dan Sukoharjo. Hasil penelitian penunjukkan bahwa konstruksi pemikiran keagamaan para penceramah dapat dibagi dua tipe. Pertama, penceramah fundamentalis; pemikiran nasionalis yang selalu menjadikan teks-teks agama sebagai pijakan satu-satunya, terlalu idialistik dan normatif. Seperti penceramah HTI dan Salafi. Kedua, penceramah moderat; pemikiran nasionalis yang tidak menjadikan teks-teks agama sebagai pijakan satu-satunya tetapi juga melihat rialita dan maqâsid syarî’ah, fleksibel dan realistik. Seperti penceramah Tarbiyah-PKS dan NU. Sedang wawasan nasionalisme telah mencakup lima hal pokok nilai-nilai nasionalisme. Yaitu Pancasila, cinta tanah air dan NKRI, toleransi dan keragaman, demokrasi dan musyawarah, hormat bendera merah putih serta lagu kebangsaan. Secara umum para penceramah menerima dan mendukungnya. Kecuali terkait dengan demokrasi yang menurut penceramah HTI dan salafi bertentangan dengan Islam. HTI menerima konsep NKRI tetapi dibawah naungan khilafah.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the tafsīr bi al-ma’ṡūr and bi al-ra’yī in the commentary of Abū Ja’far al-Ṭaḥāwī and its application methods. This study employed analytical descriptive method by employing content analysis theory towards the commentary of Aḥkām Al-Qur’ān Al-Karīm. The results suggest that Al-Ṭaḥāwī incorporates the tafsīr bi al-ma’ṡūr and bi al-ra’yī in his commentary although the general style is still the tafsīr bi al-ma’ṡūr. Al- Ṭaḥāwī has his own method in implementing the tafsīr bi al-ma’ṡūr and bi al-ra’yī. Among his methods in tafsīr bi al-ma’ṡūr is to compromise amongst narrations if it is possible, select and scientifically criticize the narrations, no comment, and avoid rejected Isrāiliyyāt narrations and false hadiṡ, unlike the commentary of al-Ṭabari. It is possible due to the differences of character between these two commentaries. Meanwhile, his method in tafsīr bi al-ra’yī is to reconcile both reasons and narrations in balance and equally important, avoid reasons outside their domain, interpret mutasyābihāt with muḥkamāt, and avoid wrong interpretation. Therefore, al-Ṭaḥāwī’s commentaries have been based on correct principles.

Abstract

This research aims at investigating Abi Zahra’s method towards the variety of the Qira`āt. This research paper employs the analytic descriptive method by exploring and analyzing the variety of Qira`āt in the Zahrah al-Tafāsīr. The results showed that Abi Zahra’s interaction methods towards the variety of Qira`āt are: (1) When presenting the Qiraāt, he often does not attribute the Qira`āt to their owner except in a small proportion (2) the diligence to present the Qira`āt Mutawātirah (3) Combine the Qira`āt (4) clarifying and explaining the Qira`āt (5) and explaining the Qira`āt Syāżah. Among his goals was to pay attention to the recitations in his interpretation, first: his assertion that all the frequent the Qira`āt are from the Qur’an, and that the meanings of those Qira`āt are all intended in the Qur’an and evidence of its miracles. Second: Using the Qira`āt to derive jurisprudential rulings and determine the meaning of the verse, because the Qira`āt are closely related to the position of of interpretation and the difference in rulings.

Abstract

Indonesian Islamic Da’wa Institution or Lembaga Dakwah Islam Indonesia (LDII) tends to embrace exclusivity and takfiri ideology. Though the group denied the claim, evidences from their fiqh manhaj foundation said the opposite. Employing library research method in descriptive qualitative fashion, this article attempts to address this issue by revealing the fiqh manhaj LDII employs and its influences over the legal decisions LDII takes. Content analysis in tandem with document triangulation and structured interviews was applied to investigate the textual references LDII uses. The findings indicate that LDII employs a fiqh manhaj called manqul, knowledge transmission centered around LDII founder – Nur Hasan ‘Ubaidah. This manhaj is influential for LDII in issuing legal decisions which tend to be exclusive and takfiri. In some cases, the fiqh manhaj of LDII was considered to be contradictory against ahlus sunnah fiqh manhaj which embraces openness and non-takfiri ideology.

Abstract

Abstrak:  Penelitian ini mengkritisi al-Hurûf al-Muqaththa‘ah dalam buku al-Qur’an dan Terjemah Versi Tadabbur. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian semantik kualitatif berbasis kepustakaan, dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif dan content analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Minardi Mursyid menggunakan tiga pendekatan dalam menerjemahkan al-Hurûf al-Muqaththa‘ah. Pertama, pendekatan fonetik Arab berupa bunyi dasar suara yang terdapat pada al-Hurûf al-Muqaththa‘ah. Kedua, pendekatan tematik dengan cara mengumpulan ayat-ayat lain yang ada kaitannya dengan al-Hurûf al-Muqaththa‘ah yang diterjemahkan. Ketiga, pendekatan matematik dengan memakai rumusan angka 19 temuan Rasyâd Khalîfah. Penulis menyimpulkan bahwa dari ketiga pendekatan tersebut terdapat deviasi kaidah penafsiran dan bahasa Arab. Abstract: Translation of al-Hurûf al-Muqaththa‘ah of Inkar al-Sunnah Version: a Critical Study of Minardi Mursyid’s al-Qur`an dan Terjemah Versi Tadabbur . This study aims to criticize translation of al-Huruf al-Muqathttha'ah in Al-Qur’an dan Terjemah Versi Tadabbur. This research is text-based using semantic qualitative approach. This study reveals that Minardi Mursyid used three approaches in translating al-Huruf al-Muqaththa‘ah. The first approach was Arabic phonetic considering through basic sounds of al-Huruf al-Muqaththa‘ah. The second approach was thematic by collecting other verses related to the translation of al-Huruf al-Muqaththa‘ah. The third approach was mathematic using phenomenon of number 19 found by Rasyad Khalifah. The author affirms that the three above mentioned approaches had deviated from the principles of Quran exegeses and Arabic language. Kata Kunci: Minardi, Inkar al-Sunah, al-Qur’an, al-Hurûf al-Muqaththa‘ah

Abstract

This paper attempt to answer how a Mushaf publisher obtained the letter "Tanda Tashih"? And how is the influence of the letter "Tanda Tashih" Mushaf on consumer confidence in the industrialization of the Mushaf al-Qur'an ?. This field research used a qualitative descriptive method with a phenomenological approach. The results showed that the "Lajnah Pentashihan Mushaf Al-Qur'an (LPMQ)" Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia has established strict procedures and accountability in issuing the letter "Tanda Tashih" as a legal permit for the circulation of Mushaf in Indonesia. The letter "Tanda Tashih"  or Circular Permit can minimize various errors in publishing the Mushaf al-Qur ʻan. All companies publishing al-Qur'an in  Indonesian is obliged to comply with and follow the procedures and regulations for publishing al-Qur'an that have been established by the LPMA. The aim is to guarantee the correctness of the Al-Quran manuscripts and to give consumers a sense of trust. Surat Tanda Tashih has a far-reaching and profound influence on consumers' confidence in buying the Mushaf of the Qur'an. The existence of the Surat Tashih letter has become one of the most important factors in the development of the industrialization of the Mushaf al-Qur ʻan in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the components of chosen teachers’ characteristics in the industrial revolution era 4.0 based on the cue of verse 129 and 151 of surah al-Baqarah. It employed library research method with descriptive qualitative approach. Content analysis theory was used to analyze the texts of verse 129 and 151 of surah al-Baqarah and related commentaries with the contextualization approach of the Qur'an. The results indicate that the components of  chosen teachers’ characteristics in the industrial revolution era 4.0 fit with the cue of verse 129 and 151 of surah al-Baqarah as follows: (1) Having extensive reading and consistent with al-Quran and science and technology related to industry 4.0, (2) Teaching al-Quran and writing, including electronic writing, (3) Teaching wisdom in the form of expertise in interacting with the development of industrial technology 4.0, (4) Purifying the soul from all badness including paying attention to practical ethics with industrial technology 4.0, (5) Continue to increase knowledge of industrial technology 4.0.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kompenen karakter guru pilihan di era revolusi indrustri 4.0 sesuai isyarat ayat 129 dan 151 surah al-Baqarah. Menggunakan metode penelitian perpustakaan dengan pendekatan deskreptif kualitatif. Teori konten analisis digunakan untuk menganalisis teks ayat 129 dan 151 surah al-Baqarah dan karya tafsir terkait dengan pendekatan kontentualisasi al-Qur`an. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komponen karakter guru pilihan di era revolusi indrustri 4.0 sesuai isyarat ayat 129 dan 151 surah al-Baqarah adalah (1). Memiliki bacaan yang luas dan konsisten terhadap al-Quran dan ilmu teknologi terkait industri 4.0 (2). Mengajarkan al-Qur`an dan penulisan, termasuk penulisan elektronik (3). Mengajarkan hikmah berupa keahlian dalam berinteraksi dengan perkembangan teknologi indrustri 4.0 (4). Membersihkan jiwa dari segala keburukan termasuk memperhatikan etika praktik dengan teknologi indrutri 4.0. (5) Terus menambah pengetahuan teknologi industri 4.0.ملخص: تهدف الدراسة معرفة مكونات شخصية المعلم المختارة في عصر الثورة الصناعية  4.0 من خلال دراسة آيتي 129 و 151 من سورة البقرة. تعتمد هذه الدراسة منهج البحث المكتبي الوصفي التحليلي بتحليل آراء المفسرين واستنباطاتهم تجاه آيتي  129و 151 من سورة البقرة، بطريقة تحليل المحتوي أو ما يسمى بــ (content analysis)، مع إظهار فهم سياق الآيات للواقع والحياة الإنسانية. وقد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة،  أن مكونات شخصية المعلم المختارة في عصر الثورة الصناعية 4.0 كما أشارت إليها آيتا 129و 151 من سورة البقرة، هي: (1) التلاوة الواسعة والمستمرة سواء كان المتلو هو القرآن أوغيره من العلوم التطبيقية و التقنية الحديثة.  (2) تعليم الكتاب والكتابة، لتشمل معنى الكتابة، الكتابة الإلكترونية (3) تعليم الحكمة وهي الملكة في التعامل مع التقنية الرقمية التي هي من سمة عصر الثورة الصناعية 4.0 (4). تزكية النفوس و الاهتمام بالممارسة الاخلاقية (Ethical Practice) في التعامل مع التطور التكنولوجي في عصر الثورة الصناعية 4.0. (5) الاستزادة المستمرة من العلوم التقنية المبتكرة في عصر الثورة الصناعية الرابعة (4.0)

Abstract

The aim of the compiling of the study was to find out and explain the academic matters, was to find out how big the effect of memorizing al-Qur’an and the intentity of tahajud prayer toward academic achievement of Qur’an Hadis either collectively or partially. The study was quantitative with education as its scope. Rather it used the combination of library and field research as its research place. The collecting data used questionnaire and documentation. The validation of the research instrument by analizing items was counted with correlation formula ‘Product Moment’, and the reliability was counted by formula Alpha Cronbach. The technique of analizing data to examine hypothesis was correlation analysis technique of Product Moment and technique double regression two predictors. The result of the study showed that significance level 5% was acquired by the value of t count of either memorizing al-Qur’an or intentity of tahajud prayer was 0,182 and 0,579, whereas the value of t table was 2,026. Since t count t table, it can be inferred that neither memorizing al-Qur’an nor intentity of tahajud prayer has significant effect toward academic achievement of Qur’an Hadis. In addition, based on the result of the study, the test value of F count was 0,389 and based on the table, the value of F table was 3,245. Since F count F table, the conclusion was that there was no significant effect of memorizing al-Qur’an and intentity of tahajud prayer on academic achievement of Qur’an Hadis collectively. Based on the analizing, the researcher found the other factor that could influence students academic achievement was motivation, either motivation of memorizing al-Qur’an or tahajud prayer.Disusunnya penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan hal-hal yang terkait dengan problem akademik, yaitu:mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh hafalan al-Qur’an dan intensitas salat tahajud baik secara bersama-sama atau parsial terhadap prestasi belajar Qur’an Hadis. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendidikan sebagai ruang lingkup penelitiannya dan menggabungkan kepustakaan (library research) dan lapangan (field research)sebagai tempat penelitiannya.Metode pengambilan data menggunakan angket dan dokumentasi. Validitas instrument penelitian dilakukan dengan analisis butir hitung dengan rumus korelasi product moment. Reliabilitas instrument dihitung dengan menggunakan rumus Alpha Cronbach. Teknik analisis data yang dipakai untuk menguji hipotesis adalah teknik analisis korelasi Product moment dan teknik regresi ganda 2 prediktor.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dengan taraf signifikan 5% diperoleh nilai t hitung hafalan al-Qur’an dan intensitas salat tahajud secara berurutan sebesar 0,182 dan 0,579, sedangkan  t tabel 2,026.  Karena  t hitung t tabel  maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa  baik hafalan al-Qur’an maupun intensitas salat tahajud tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar Qur’an Hadis. Kemudian berdasar hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai uji F hitung sebesar  0,389 dan berdasar tabel diperoleh nilai F Tabel sebesar 3,245. Karena F hitung F tabel  maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan secara bersama sama antara hafalan al-Qur’an dan intensitas salat tahajud terhadap nilai mata pelajaran Qur’an Hadis. Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan, peneliti menemukan faktor lain yang bisa mempengaruhi prestasi belajar santriwati, yaitu motivasi. Baik motivasi menghafal al-Qur’an ataupun motivasi salat tahajud.
