Abstract

ABSTRAKDalam era teknologi dan perkembangan sosial yang pesat saat ini, penggunaan teknologi komunikasi seperti smartphone dan akses internet semakin meluas. Fenomena ini juga menciptakan peluang baru dalam dunia bisnis, terutama dalam bentuk Social Commerce. Social Commerce menggabungkan media sosial dengan pembelian produk secara online, yang memungkinkan interaksi antara penjual dan konsumen, serta berbagai faktor yang memengaruhi keputusan pembelian. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi minat beli masyarakat melalui Social Commerce di Kota Batam. Faktor-faktor yang diteliti meliputi Brand Image, Product Quality, Social Media Influence, Social Media Marketing, Attitude, dan Trust. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi berganda dengan alat bantu perangkat lunak statistik. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan semua faktor tersebut memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap niat beli konsumen melalui Social Commerce di Kota Batam. Selain itu, Trust juga memediasi hubungan antara Social Media Marketing dan niat beli. Studi ini memberikan wawasan yang penting bagi perusahaan yang ingin memanfaatkan Social Commerce sebagai saluran penjualan yang efektif.Kata Kunci: Citra Merek, Minat Beli, Perdagangan Sosial.ABSTACTIn the rapidly evolving world of technology and social development, the use of communication technology such as smartphones and internet access is expanding. This phenomenon has also created new opportunities in the business world, particularly in the form of Social Commerce. Social Commerce combines social media with online product purchases, allowing interaction between sellers and consumers, as well as various factors that influence purchasing decisions. This study aims to identify the factors influencing the purchase intention of people through Social Commerce in Batam City. The factors studied include Brand Image, Product Quality, Social Media Influence, Social Media Marketing, Attitude, and Trust. The analysis method used is multiple regression analysis with the assistance of statistical software. The results show that all these factors have a positive and significant impact on consumers' purchase intention through Social Commerce in Batam City. Furthermore, Trust also mediates the relationship between Social Media Marketing and purchase intention. This study provides valuable insights for companies looking to leverage Social Commerce as an effective sales channel.Keywords: Brand Image, Purchase Intention, Social Commerce.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of intellectual capital on the financial performance of Indonesian companies engaged in the energy sector. This study is a causal-comparative study with company performance as the dependent variable, and intellectual capital efficiency (ICE) as the independent variable consisting of human capital efficiency (HCE), structural capital efficiency (SCE), relational capital efficiency (RCE), and capital employed efficiency (CEE). This study also uses two control variables, i.e. leverage and size. The sample studied was 21 Indonesian companies listed in the energy sector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) which were obtained through the purposive sampling method. This study uses secondary data in the form of the company's annual financial reports for five years (2016-2020). The data were analyzed using the panel data regression analysis method, and the results of the analysis found that the independent variable that had a significant and positive effect on company performance was relational capital efficiency (RCE) while the influence of other variables was found to be insignificant.

Abstract

The rapid growth of investment activities in national and international capital markets has significantly increased the number of investors competing for financial stability. Each investor has different investment decision-making preferences, influenced by various internal and external factors. This study focuses on internal factors in the form of demographic characteristics of local investors, such as gender, risk tolerance, religiosity, and income, complemented by financial literacy as a moderating variable. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the extent to which these factors can influence investment decision-making in international capital markets, which tend to be more complex. The research data was collected by distributing questionnaires to 280 respondents who are active investors in the Indonesian capital markets. Using the PLS-SEM analysis method, the results show that gender, risk tolerance, income, and financial literacy have a significant positive influence on investment decisions in international capital markets. Additionally, religiosity also has a positive but insignificant influence. Financial literacy as a moderating variable also tends to have a dominant negative and insignificant effect in strengthening the relationship between variables.

Abstract

This study explores the influence of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and green innovation on corporate financial performance. Using purposive sampling, the research examines a sample of 126 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2018 to 2022. Data were collected from the sample companies annual reports. Employing regression analysis to analyze the data, this study finds that CSR and green innovation positively affect financial performance. Companies that actively engage in CSR initiatives are more likely to implement environmentally friendly innovations. This study also found that green innovation mediates the relationship between CSR and financial performance. Consequently, prioritizing CSR fosters green innovation, which, in turn, improves financial performance through increased efficiency, corporate reputation, and market opportunities. This study provides valuable insights for managers and practitioners, highlighting the strategic role of CSR in strengthening financial performance through green innovation.

Abstract

The research investigates the impact of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on stock returns in the mining sector of Indonesia. The study examines data from financial reports and annual reports of 37 Indonesian companies listed on the stock exchange between 2017 and 2021. The research measures stock return using various factors, including corporate social responsibility, firm age, firm size, return on equity (ROE), and return on assets (ROA). The results reveal that there is a significant positive relationship between ROA and stock return. However, firm age shows a significant negative relationship with stock return, whereas firm size, ROE, and CSR do not have a significant effect. The research findings contribute to the existing literature by suggesting that in Indonesia, investors do not consider CSR as a key factor when making investment decisions since they are not particularly interested in the CSR activities undertaken by companies.

Abstract

CV Citra Selaras menghentikan penyusunan laporan keuangan formal sejak 2020 akibat krisis kepercayaan internal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi kondisi pencatatan keuangan saat ini dan merumuskan langkah strategis untuk membangun kembali sistem pelaporan yang akuntabel. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif melalui wawancara, observasi, dan pelatihan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen mulai menyadari pentingnya laporan keuangan serta menunjukkan minat untuk mengintegrasikan sistem digital yang ada dengan pelaporan berbasis SAK-ETAP. CV Citra Selaras dinilai memiliki potensi untuk menerapkan kembali pelaporan keuangan secara sistematis dengan dukungan peningkatan literasi akuntansi dan struktur organisasi yang memadai.

Abstract

This study explores the relationship between firm risk-taking and financial performance, with a particular focus on the moderating role of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices. Using panel data from 86 firms listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange over the 2018–2023 period, Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) regression with year fixed effects was employed. The results show that risk-taking has a positive and significant effect on firm performance, supporting the risk–return trade-off perspective. However, the interaction term reveals a negative moderation, meaning that ESG weakens the relationship between risk-taking and firm performance. This suggests that firms with stronger ESG commitments adopt more cautious strategies, which may reduce short-term financial gains but reinforce long-term stability and stakeholder trust. The findings contribute to the literature by clarifying the dual role of ESG as both a performance enhancer and a risk-control mechanism in emerging markets. Managers should integrate ESG principles into their strategic risk management frameworks to ensure that risk-taking decisions are aligned with sustainability objectives. Future studies should adopt broader risk-taking measures (R&D investment or leverage), extend the scope to cross-country settings, and integrate qualitative approaches for deeper insights.

Abstract

The socioemotional wealth perspective emphasizes a company's concern with preserving its reputation and image. This study investigates the effects of family firms, family ownership, and family management on corporate social responsibility (CSR) disclosure, with slack resources serving as a moderating variable. Employing a quantitative approach, the analysis draws on secondary data from 118 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2018-2022, yielding 590 firm-year observations. Multiple linear regression using Stata was applied. The results show that family firms have a significant negative effect on CSR disclosure, while family management has a significant positive effect. In contrast, family ownership exhibits no significant relationship with CSR disclosure. Moreover, slack resources are found to moderate the relationships between family firms, family ownership, family management, and CSR disclosure.

Abstract

E&E Seafood is a Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) which operates in the sale of food and drinks, especially food with nuances of Chinese and Indonesian cuisine, located in Batam City. This MSME, which has been around for 3 years, has moved 3 times, so many customers have lost contact, and this has caused a decrease in turnover due to a decrease in food orders. The aim of this activity is to apply digital marketing using social media to E&E Seafood MSMEs to introduce them further to the public and increase sales turnover. The method used to overcome the problems that occur in E&E Seafood MSMEs is by carrying out digital marketing which carries out promotions related to food sold using the social media applications Instagram and Facebook. After carrying out this community service activity for 3 months, it can be concluded that the activities carried out smoothly are in accordance with the objectives of this activity. Where the author has carried out digital marketing promotions using Instagram and Facebook applications and producing a module to continue promotional activities for E&E Seafood MSMEs.

Abstract

Dalam lingkungan bisnis kosmetik, apapun bentuknya, seperti perusahaan besar maupun usaha kecil menengah, penting untuk memiliki sistem manajemen keuangan yang baik. Usaha yang dilengkapi dengan manajemen keuangan yang baik akan lebih terstruktur dalam operasionalnya dan memfasilitasi pertumbuhan bisnis yang lebih baik. Sella Kosmetik merupakan sebuah UMKM yang beroperasi di bidang kosmetik yang berbasis di Batam, dipilih sebagai obyek dalam kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat dalam artikel ini. Dari proses wawancara dan observasi yang telah dilakukan, terungkap bahwa manajemen keuangan dari Sella Kosmetik masih sangat kurang karena masih menggunakan pencatatan manual untuk transaksi penjualan dan pembelian. Tujuan dari kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat adalah membantu Sella Kosmetik menyelesaikan masalah dalam pencatatan transaksi operasionalnya dengan menciptakan sistem keuangan. Sella Kosmetik memperoleh sistem keuangan baru melalui program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat berupa aplikasi Microsoft Access yang membantu pemilik mencatat transaksi dan menyediakan laporan keuangan seperti buku besar, neraca saldo, laba rugi, neraca, dan lainnya.
