Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan bantuan keilmuan kepada guru SMP Negeri 25 Bandar Lampung dalam menyusun skenario pembelajaran yang memuat pendidikan karakter selain muatan inti lainnya yaitu pengetahuan dan ketrampilan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dalam bentuk pelatihan selama empat kali pertemuan dengan peserta sebanyak 25 orang guru. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode ceramah, tanya jawab, diskusi, dan demonstrasi. Praktik lapangan implementasi skenario pembelajaran yang menerapkan pendidikan karakter oleh guru peserta pengabdian, menggunakan pendekatan saintifik. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan diperoleh temuan sebagai berikut: 1) Guru SMP Negeri 25 Bandar Lampung sebagai peserta pengabdian kepada masyarakat menunjukkan antusiasme yang sangat tinggi; 2) Para peserta dapat mengimplementasikan penguatan pendidikan karakter kedalam skenario pembelajaran yang disusunnya; 3) Para peserta dapat mengimplementasikan skenario pembelajaran yang disusun dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar; 4) Perubahan karakter peserta didik yang mencerminkan budaya bangsa Indonesia merupakan dampak posistif, dari skenario pembelajaran yang diimplementasikan.

Abstract

Science education is one of the important subjects in the scientific structure studied in our world of education. During the Covid-19 pandemic by considering the condition of the readiness of supporting infrastructure for online learning implementation, IT-based teacher skills, and online learning evaluation, this science subject was transformed to students. The purpose of this study is to describe the planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring of Science Education, especially in public junior high schools in Lampung Province. This research is a qualitative research with an educational ethnography study design, and the research participants are principals of MKKS junior high schools in Lampung Province. This study used interviews, observations and documentation to collect data, which were then evaluated using the interactive model analysis. The findings of this study are as follows: (1) Natural Science lesson plans are prepared by taking into account student characteristics, materials, and the use of applications for learning implementation; (2) the organization of Natural Science learning begins with the formation of Whatsapp groups, the direction of learning meetings using Google Classroom and Google Meet by sharing links through Whatsapp groups; and (3) optimization of learning implementation in this science subject is still limited: 50% of public junior high schools in Lampung Province have limited internet bandwidth; (4) monitoring, science subject teachers have difficulty in conducting learning assessment because they cannot organize students in a perfect setting.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of smartphone use on the development of elementary school students' behavior during the COVID-19 pandemic. The effect of using a smartphone is an impact or influence that can be beneficial or detrimental that arises as a result of a habit of using a smartphone. Meanwhile, the behavior of children who use smartphones is all actions or actions taken by children towards the use of smartphones. The impact of smartphone use on the current generation of the nation lies in the child who later grows up to be a leader. A leader who is able to lead himself is the most important factor. The thing that needs to be considered is character education that must be instilled early. This research uses qualitative descriptive methods as a stage in carrying out research. This research used data collection techniques including the observation, interview, documentation and recording stages. The data analysis used is a qualitative descriptive data analysis. The results showed that the use of smartphones by children is based on individual needs, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, children's learning is all online.  Smartphones can be a means of learning and entertainment for children because they provide a lot of needed information. In addition to these beneficial things, the continued use of smartphones has a bad impact on children's behavior.

Abstract

This research is to find out how traditional games as one of the alternative learning models in shaping the character of children in SD Negeri 2 Sendangasih. This type of descriptive research with a qualitative approach.  Instruments used include illustrated storybooks, dolls, counterfeit items, plants, drawings. And the most commonly used is to use storybook props. This research is a class action research, conducted through three cycles each cycle consisting of preparation, implementation, observation, and interview. Judging from the results of the research that has been done shows a sufficient improvement The results of the study show: (1) The process of character building in the classroom, family, and community through traditional children's games at SD Negeri 2 Sendangasih, the process of character education is carried out by balancing between moral knowing, moral feeling, and moral action. The habit of using moral knowing, moral feeling, and moral action on every decision will educate people to be human beings with character, who have clear principles and handles. (2) Character values that develop in the classroom, family, and community at SD Negeri 2 Sendangasih include values related to the creator, values related to oneself, values related to others, values related to the environment, and national values. (3) The impact of character education planting through traditional games at SD Negeri 2 Sendangasih includes children becoming more creative, socially high, confident, more harmonious with family, manners, socializing well, and the output has a positive impact.

Abstract

Secara ringkas Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis penerapan kurikulum merdeka dalam meningkatkan rasa percaya diri siswa di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 2 Lampung. Metode penyelidikan yang dipakai dalam pengolahan data ini melibatkan penelitian kualitatif kuantitatif. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan kurikulum merdeka di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 2 melibatkan tiga aspek utama yaitu pengembangan kurikulum operasional sekolah, pemanfaatan teknologi peraga, dan pancasila siswa. profil proyek dan instruksi berdasarkan gaya belajar siswa.

Abstract

Inclusive education is a critical component of contemporary educational reforms, emphasizing equitable access and quality learning for all students, including those with special needs. This study explores applying educational management principles in curricula management within inclusive schools in Indonesia. The research uses a qualitative approach to examine the planning, implementation, and evaluation processes involved in inclusive curriculum management. Key findings indicate that effective curriculum management involves systematic planning, teacher capacity building, and stakeholder collaboration, addressing barriers such as limited resources and insufficient training. The results study highlight the importance of adaptable strategies and participatory management to enhance the inclusivity of educational practices. These insights contribute to the development of policies and practices that support equitable and sustainable inclusive education

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that many institutions have not yet implemented the holistic integrative early childhood education (PAUD) program. The aim of this research is to understand the implementation of essential services, parental involvement, challenges and obstacles, evaluation, and the impact of the holistic integrative PAUD program in PAUD units. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with case studies in several PAUD institutions that implement the program. Data collection was done through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the implementation of the holistic integrative early childhood development program conducted at TK ABA Wates, TK ABA Wonokriyo, and TK Muslimat can meet the essential needs of children, enhance cooperation with parents in carrying out the school program, and the implementation of holistic integrative PAUD also impacts child development, the quality of institutions, and the role of parents. However, there are still challenges and obstacles, such as limitations in facilities and the competency of educators, and schools still need to conduct evaluations and monitoring to ensure the effectiveness of the holistic integrative PAUD program. The conclusion of this research emphasizes the importance of understanding, integrity, and good management, as well as ongoing support from the government and relevant stakeholders to ensure the success of early childhood development programs.

Abstract

Transformasi pendidikan melalui penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka pada jenjang Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) membawa perubahan mendasar dalam pendekatan pembelajaran, termasuk dalam penyusunan administrasi yang mencakup perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan asesmen. Kurikulum ini menekankan pada pembelajaran yang berpusat pada anak, diferensiasi, serta penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila. Namun, realitas di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa banyak guru PAUD belum sepenuhnya memahami konsep dan praktik penyusunan administrasi pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan paradigma baru ini. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas guru PAUD melalui pelatihan intensif dan pendampingan teknis dalam menyusun dokumen pembelajaran seperti RPPM, RPPH, serta asesmen berbasis observasi. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup ceramah, diskusi kelompok, simulasi, dan praktik langsung. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test, serta penilaian hasil kerja peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam menyusun administrasi pembelajaran berbasis Kurikulum Merdeka. Kegiatan ini berkontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan kualitas pendidikan PAUD dan mendukung implementasi kurikulum yang lebih efektif dan kontekstual.

Abstract

Kemampuan guru dalam menyusun dan mengevaluasi administrasi sekolah merupakan aspek penting dalam mendukung terciptanya tata kelola pendidikan yang efektif. Sayangnya, di banyak sekolah, guru masih menghadapi kendala dalam memahami prosedur administrasi yang baik dan sistematis. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas guru dalam aspek perencanaan dan evaluasi administrasi sekolah, melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan yang aplikatif. Pelaksanaan kegiatan melibatkan guru-guru dari sekolah mitra yang telah ditentukan, dengan metode berupa workshop, diskusi interaktif, studi kasus, dan praktik langsung penyusunan serta evaluasi dokumen administrasi seperti Rencana Kerja Sekolah (RKS), Jadwal Pembelajaran, dan Instrumen Evaluasi Kinerja. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa para peserta mengalami peningkatan signifikan dalam hal pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan teknis administrasi pendidikan. Selain itu, para guru juga menunjukkan komitmen lebih tinggi dalam menerapkan hasil pelatihan ke dalam praktik kerja sehari-hari. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memperkuat sistem tata kelola sekolah yang lebih akuntabel, transparan, dan berkelanjutan dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan.
