This study aims to determine the forms of errors made by students based on Polya’s criteria and to determine the factors that cause students to make these mistakes. This type of research is a qualitative research that is analyzed using a descriptive approach in the form of a case study rearch. The subjects in this study were students of class X IPA 4 which consisted of 28 students. The analytical method used in this research is descriptive-qualitative analysis. The results showed that there were 91.7% of students errors in understanding the problem, errors in formulating problems were 34.5% of students, carried out errors in implementing plans were 24.5% of students and errors when checking back answer 38.1% of students. Factors causing these errors: (1) students are less interested in learning mathematics, (2) students are less talented in mathematics, (3) students who have difficulty working on problems and (4) how to teach teachers in providing explanations about mathematics lessons.

This study aims to describe the understanding of mathematical concepts in terms of students' interest in learning transformation material. This research method is a descriptive analysis method with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were students of class XI IIS SMA PGRI 3 Padang in the 2021/2022 academic year. The sampling technique is based on the level of understanding of the concept and learning interests of students. The instruments used to collect data are in the form of tests, interest in learning questionnaires, and interviews. The results showed that students with high learning interest with high and moderate conceptual understanding were able to fulfill the indicators for restating a concept and applying concepts or algorithms to problem solve. Students with moderate learning interest with high and low concept understanding are less able to fulfill the indicators for restating a concept. Students with low learning interest with moderate and low concept understanding are not able to meet the indicators in restating a concept, applying concepts or algorithms in problem-solving, and presenting concepts in the form of mathematical representations. The difficulty of learning to build polyhedron for middle students makes experts lecturers collaboratively create learning trajectories through the Lesson Study for Learning Community (LSLC). This study aims to produce a learning trajectory that can assist students in learning polyhedron using collaborative learning through LSLC. The research method used was design research with the first stage, preparing for experiment, experimental design, and retrospective analysis. This learning approach uses collaborative LSLC is used in the process of making teaching materials and along with research methods. This study involved 47 lecturers and 24 mathematics education students. Data collection was carried out through observing student activities, recording video events in class, collecting student work results, and student test results. The collected data were then analyzed retrospectively with the results showing that collaborative and LSLC used in the acquired learning paths can help students in learning flat-sided shapes. The learning trajectory includes (1) students can collaboratively understand the surface area of the cube (2) collaboratively, students can understand the space diagonal of a block. With the existence of LSLC, researchers can form learning communities with research subjects, collaborate in making learning designs and teaching materials, and produce multilevel effective learning through sharing tasks and jumping tasks

Statistika adalah materi yang diajarkan pada mata pelajaran matematika.guru merasa kesulitan dalam mengajarkan materi tersebut. Hal ini terjadi di SMP N 18 Padang. Berdasarkan observasi yang dilakukan guru merasa kesulitan dalam proses pembelajaran. Salah satu aplikasi yang dapat digunakan adalag sigil software.Sigil software ini merupakan salah satu software editor epub (electronic publication) yang bersifat open source.Penggunaannya terbilang cukup mudah.Berdasarkan wawancara yang dilakukan kepada guru SMP N 18 Padang bahwa banyak guru yang belum mengetahui penggunaan sigil software untuk membuat bahan ajar.Metode pelaksanaan aplikasi sigil software.Setelah melakukan pengabdian, guru-guru SMP N 18 Padang mampu menggunakan dan mengaplikasikan sigil software ini untuk membuat bahan ajar.

The aim of the research is to analyze and describe the ability to understand mathematical concepts in terms of students' learning interests. The subjects of this study were class XII students at SMA Cendekia Pasaman Barat. This research method is descriptive quantitative. The instruments used were interest in learning questionnaires, test questions, and interview guidelines. The results of the interest in learning questionnaire were analyzed by grouping them into high, medium and low, the test results were analyzed based on indicators of conceptual understanding and interview results. The data analysis technique used in this study was descriptive statistical analysis. The results showed that students with high learning interest had high ability to understand mathematical concepts, then students with moderate and low learning interest had medium and low ability to understand mathematical concepts. Students who have high ability to understand mathematical concepts are able to achieve all indicators of understanding concepts with few errors, then students with moderate and low ability to understand mathematical concepts are unable to meet the indicators of restating a concept and applying concepts or solving algorithms.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share (tps) terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas VIII SMPN 3 VII Koto Sungai Sarik Kabupaten Padang Pariaman.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain penelitianControl-group posttest only, teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian ini secara random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII.2 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang berjumlah 32 orang siswa dan kelas VIII.1 sebagai kelas kontrol yang berjumlah 30 orang siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen tes akhir berbentuk soal esai. Teknik analisis data dalam penenlitian ini menggunakan rubrik analitik skala 0-4. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil dari uji hipotesis untuk  dk = 52 diperoleh sedangkan  karena dapat dikatakan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas VIII SMPN 3 VII Koto Sungai Sarik Kabupaten Padang Pariaman yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional lebih baik dari pada siswa yang belajar menggunakan pembelajaran TPS.

Kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis merupakan kemampunan dasar yang harus dikuasai siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan korelasional yang bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan pemahaman konsep matematis dengan kemandirian belajar siswa pada kelas VIII di salah satu SMP di Lubuk Basung. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes pemahaman konsep matematis dan angket kemandirian belajar siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan kemandirian belajar siswa dengan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis dengan arah hubungan positif sebesar 0,845, artinya semakin baik kemandirian belajar maka akan baik juga kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis. The ability to understand mathematical concepts is a basic ability that must be mastered by students. This study uses a correlational approach that aims to see the relationship between understanding mathematical concepts and student learning independence in class VIII one of the SMP in Lubuk Basung. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling. The instruments used were tests of understanding mathematical concepts and questionnaires for student learning independence. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between student learning independence and the ability to understand mathematical concepts with a positive relationship direction of 0.845, meaning that the better the independent learning, the better the ability to understand mathematical concepts.

This research is motivated by the lack of students' understanding of their thinking skills and students cannot determine the right strategy to overcome the problems encountered in solving mathematical problems. The purpose of this study was to find out how the metacognitive level of students in solving math problem solving problems in class IX.1 students of SMPN 26 Padang. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The subject of this research is class IX.1 SMP Negeri 26 Padang. The instruments used are tests and interviews. The test is used to determine the metacognitive level of students in solving problem solving problems. Interviews were used to find out more about the metacognitive level in terms of students' understanding. The results showed that as many as 35.71% of students were at the metacognitive level of Tacit Use, as many as 35.71% of students had the metacognitive level of Aware Use, and as many as 28.58% of students had the metacognitive level of Strategic use. Students who have a high group metacognitive ability score in the classroom are at the Strategic Use metacognitive level. Students who have a moderate group metacognitive ability score in the class are at the Aware Use metacognitive level. and students who have a low group metacognitive ability score in the class are at the metacognitive level of Tacit Use.

Bahan ajar penting pada proses belajar digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan dan kemandirian peserta didik sesuai dengan tuntutan kurikulum mandiri. Salah satu sumber belajar yang dapat digunakan sebagai tambahan dalam proses pembelajaran adalah LKPD. LKPD yang digunakan di UPT SMPN 4 Painan, Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan belum dapat diakses secara komprehensif untuk semua materi pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan LKPD yang memiliki basis Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) pada materi Rasio. Para peneliti berharap bahwa hal ini dapat membantu ketika proses pembelajaran. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model Plomp, yaitu model pengembangan dari tahap penelitian dasar dan prototipe. Model ini diterapkan hanya sampai tahap kedua. Berdasarkan hasil analisa menunjukkan LKPD berbasis RME mencapai nilai validitas 84,55% masuk dalam kategori sangat valid. Hasil temuan lain menunjukkan LKPD mencapai nilai kepraktisan 90,44%. Berdasarkan hasil temuan yang dipaparkan dalam penelitian ini, terbukti bahwa LKPD berbasis RME pada Materi Rasio di UPT SMPN 4 Painan Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan dinilai layak dan praktis untuk digunakan oleh guru dan peserta didik dalam rangka kegiatan pembelajaran.

The current development of digital technology requires the world of education to balance learning by using technology-based learning media. One of the learning media innovations that can be developed is in the form of technology-based teaching materials in the form of electronic modules (e-modules) assisted by Sigil software. This training in making teaching materials is applied to data presentation material, in which the material displays lots of pictures in the form of diagrams to present data so that it is easy to read and understand. This training was conducted with the target of mathematics teachers at SMPN 18 Padang. The purpose of this training is for teachers to be able to make teaching materials assisted by sigil software on data presentation material and other materials and teachers can use teaching materials that have been made in the learning process. The result of this training is that it can facilitate teachers to learn how to make teaching materials with the sigil application and they also understand and practice how to make these teaching materials as evidenced by the results of teaching material products made directly by the training participants.
