Abstract

Fakultas Ilmu Komputer Universitas Brawijaya is one of the faculties that has implemented and developed information technology in every its business process activity. Each activity related to information system development is handled by the Unit Pengelola Sistem Informasi dan Kehumasan (PSIK) Fakultas Ilmu Komputer. Although they have used a more computerized and integrated information system in conducting their duties and functions, they have never taken a risk assessment or implemented risk management. Based on the problem, solutions are provided to carry out the process of measuring and managing risk using the OCTAVE-S framework. The process is implemented by identifying and analyzing risk threats found in the Unit Pengelola Sistem Informasi dan Kehumasan (PSIK) Fakultas Ilmu Komputer, which will then be used to provide mitigation recommendations in accordance with security practices. The results of this study found 3 security practice areas that have yellow stoplight status and 1 security practice area that have red stoplight status. The four areas of security practice were then selected as mitigation areas.

Abstract

PT XYZ is a company that engaged in network and telecommunication service in Indonesia. PT XYZ requires a CRM solution that is able to support a variety business. To achieve that, PT XYZ made a project called project NCX (New Customer Xperience), which is an acquisition project to replace the old CRM strategy to the new one, This research aims to do an assessment in project NCX by using CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration). Using a qualitative method, the assessment run with SCAMPI class C (Standard Appraissal Method for Process Improvement). Assessment is selected at maturity level two which contains of nine process area. Results of maturity level two assessment found that only three area processes were fulfilled and at level two or managed, were measurement and analysis, process and product quality assurance, solicitation and supplier agreement development. From the results of assessment, a gap analysis was conducted to measure the area process gap with assessment target, then make recommendations for the company regarding the weaknesses found in the product development process based on CMMI.

Abstract

State University of Surabaya has already implemented e-learning system with moodle base which used centrally by all of faculty to help and solving a problem during lecturer. After the system on-line, there are factors has to be improved to make e-learning system is accepted by the user. Purpose of this study is to describe the level of acceptance from information system of UNESA e-learning system and also giving improvement recommendation according to Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) Method.. Data collection in this study was used by filling out the online questionnaire. This study uses a sample of 156 respondents and uses a stratified purposive sampling technique. The results of the evaluation of this study indicated that the perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, educational quality, service quality, information quality, satisfaction, and intention to use variable are in the high category, while the actual use variable is in the fairly high category. With the total average value of all variables of 70.85%, educational quality, service quality, intention to use, and actual use variable must get top priority to be improved because the average value of the variable percentage is still below the average value.

Abstract

Malang Regency is one of the districts that continuously develops e-government to serve community needs. As long as the system is running there has been no evaluation and assesment to service quality based on the end-user's perception. This study aims to assess the quality of website services of Malang Regency Government based on user perceptions, knowing what attributes are priority improvements and providing recommendations for improvements. This research uses e-govqual which is the right dimension to assess government services that combined with Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA). This reseacrh uses 4 variables from e-govqual, namely efficiency, trust, reliability and citizen support consist of 21 indicators. Respondents are involved in this research were 111 people. Data obtained by distributing questionnaires that had previously been tested with validity and reliability tests. The overall level of suitability is 83.65%, while the gap value obtained is -0.521. Variables that need improvement are citizen support variables and several indicators for reliability and efficiency. The research results show that overall the quality of Malang Regency website has not fulfilled the expectations of users. Recommendations for improvements provided include periodic maintenance, updating software and hardware to meet service capacity, adding customization features, adding chat features, providing training to officers and adding Frequently Answer-Question (FAQ) pages.

Abstract

Information technology (IT) risk management evaluation at Badan Perencanaan, Penelitian dan Pengembangan (BARENLITBANG) city of Malang is needed because the current implementation is not yet optimal. One of the reasons is the absence of particular division that manages IT risk at BARENLITBANG. In this research, the framework Control Objective for Information and related Technology 5 (COBIT 5) is used to evaluate and assess the capability level of the IT risk management at BARENLITBANG. The domains used are EDM03 (risk optimization) and APO12 (risk management). This research begins with data collection, then analyzing capability levels and gap, identificating the risk using the Risk Breakdown Structure (RBS), assess the risk, and making mitigation and recommendations. Results of the capability level in EDM03 domain is level 1 while domain APO12 is in level 2 with 1 level gap for both domains. From 9 identified risks, there are 5 risks in the middle category and needed to be mitigated while 4 risks in low category can be accepted by the organization. There are 6 recommendations recommended for BARENLITBANG such as making SOP to regulate risk management, optimizing supervision and evaluation, making risk maps, maximizing action plans, improving human resource capabilities in BARENLITBANG, and optimizing internal control task force.

Abstract

In its implementation, Smart Classroom in the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Brawijaya is still relatively new and there are still complaints from students or lecturers as users. Evaluation needs to be done so that it gets recommendations for improvements to improve Smart Classroom acceptance. This study uses a modified Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) using four variables, namely perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, behavior intention to use, actual system to use. These variables were examined to describe user acceptance of Smart Classroom with descriptive statistical analysis. Data retrieval is done using offline questionnaire instruments and interviews. The population in this study were Agriculture Faculty students who used Smart Classroom with a sample of 32. The results showed that the variables perceived ease of use (76,70%), perceived usefulness (77,76%), behavioral intention to use (81,30%), the actual system to use (80,80%) belongs to the high category. From the results of the study, recommendations for improvements were made to improve Smart Classroom acceptance.

Abstract

Smart Library Automation (SLA) is an information system which is used by the Public Library of Department Library and Archives of Batu City. Information system SLA is used to increase the quality of services to the visitors and facilitate librarians in processing databooks. As an institution which organizes public services by using information technology, libraries must have reliable technology in providing maximum service. In achieving maximum service, an evaluation of Smart Library Automation (SLA) is needed to find out the system's problems in providing services toward the visitors. This study uses a framework Human, Organization, and Technology (Hot-Fit) Model. The main method of collecting data in this study uses qualitative interview methods which are supported by quantitative methods namely questionnaires. It is used to strengthen the results of interviews. The result of this research shows that the quality of the system is good, which is fully supported by the organization in its implementation and this system needs to development in order to fulfill organization's needs in the future in giving excellent library services.

Abstract

Ruangguru is application online tutoring that offers products which has the most complete solutions to problems that students from Indonesia face during their studies which is in the form of an. Based on the result of the interview and observation, the usage of Ruangguru affects the studying process in a positive manner. However, there were problems that occurred to the users of Ruangguru. The goal of this research is to analyze the Ruangguru application with methods concerning identifying, categorizing, and prioritizing requirements based on user satisfaction to which can decrease the problems experienced by users that may increase the overall quality of the Ruangguru application. A Fuzzy Kano method is utilized a quantitative and objective product development technique based on scores calculated from user satisfaction to raise a quality. This research uses purposive sampling, which targets a minimum of 97 respondents. The results are then categorized into 35 requirements which consists of: 26 requirements towards the study location, 6 requirements based on the digital bootcamp process, 3 requirements based on purchasing process. Out of 35 requirements defined as application features, 12 features are categorized as one-dimensional, 7 features that fall in the attractive quality attribute category, and 16 features fall under the indifferent quality attribute category. A priority list starting from the most important are feature "received explanation of the answer" in the one-dimensional category, "Finished the quiz" in the attractive quality category, "Viewed the tutor's explanation (in the form of text)" in the indifferent quality category.

Abstract

Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika (DISKOMINFO) kota Malang is one of the government agencies that apply information technology to support the information processing processes that it carries out. In order for the information processing to go according to expectations, IT governance is needed that is good and in line with the objectives of the relevant agencies. Based on the results of interviews conducted, several problems were found in the implementation, such as the implementation of the SOPs had not been carried out maximally, some personnel were still carrying out duties from other personnel, lack of technical personnel, MONEV activities do not run optimally and are carried out informally. Some of theses problems can be classified into processes in the Plan and Organise and Monitor and Evaluate domains in the COBIT 4.1 framework. COBIT 4.1 is used to determine the level of IT maturity and also provide recommendations form the evaluation acivities carried out. Evaluation results show, in the PO domain the average value of maturity is 2.6 or reaches level 3 (Defined Porcess, while in the ME domain the average maturity level is 2.25 or reaches level 2 (Repeatable but intuitive. Recommendations are given eith the aim that DISKOMINFO kota Malang can increase the value of IT maturity, so that existing forms of IT governance can be improved.

Abstract

The compulsory usage of E-Toll Cards is a new policy introduced by the Indonesian government as a method for paying toll fee. Although the usage of E-Toll Cards are known to improve time efficiency of transactions, but it cannot be exactly pinpointed what affects time efficiency factor. If a factor can be identified, then that factor can be that intensified to improve efficiency of E-Toll Cards. The purpose of this research is to identify the values that are involved in usage of E-Toll Cards in 5 variables which are functional values, emotional values, epistemic values, conditional values and social values with 97 respondents. Results show that the functional value variable is the most significant, respondents agreed that using E-Toll Cards is the right solution to solving traffic jams on toll roads which is caused by long paying queues, and the results from paying services utilizing E-Toll Cards are as expected by the respondents. The findings from the epistemic value variables toward the current topic of research is that respondents agreed that the usage of E-Toll Cards for paying toll fares are a new method which was never implemented previously and the procedure of acquiring an E-Toll Card is relatively easy as it is readily available for purchase in bank branches all across Indonesia. The findings from the social value variables is that he needs of the respondents can be fulfilled with using E-Toll Cards and using E-Toll Cards because they want to give a good impression that they are law abiding citizens. Emotional value and conditional value variables are discovered to have no significance.
