Abstract

Penelitian survei ini untuk melihat ada unsur hubungan antara promosi perpustakaan (X1) dan pelayanan perpustakaan (X2) Secara bersama-sama Terhadap penggunaan perpustakaan. Kajian tentang perpustakaan dirancang dengan mengambil sampel seluruh mahasiswa dari empat fakultas, selanjutnya ditentukan unit populasi secara purposif (acak sederhana), untuk menetapkan populasi terjangkau. Kemudian ditetapkalah sebanyak 60 Orang mahasiswa yang mewakili dari keseluruhan mahasiswa lAIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi Tahun Akademik 2010 – 2011. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa, Pertama, terdapat hubungan positif antara promosi perpustakaan dengan penggunaan perpustakaan (ry1 = 0,58; ry1.2 = 0,45) pada taraf a =. 0,05. Kekuatan hubungan tersebut berdasarkan hasil pengujian signifikansi koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,58. Koefisien determinasi ry12 = 0,34, Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa 34 % variasi penggunaan perpustakaan dapat dijelaskan oleh promosi perpustakaan. Kedua, terdapat hubungan positif antara pelayanan perpustakaan dengan penggunaan perpustakaan(ry1 = 0,48; ry2.1 = 0,26) pada taraf α = 0,05. Kekuatan hubungan tersebut berdasarkan hasil pengujian signifikansi koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,48 adalah signifikan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa makin baik pelayanan perpustakaan, maka makin banyak penggunaan perpustakaan. Koefisien determinasi ry22 = 0,23, menunjukkan bahwa 23% variasi penggunaan perpustakaan dapat dijelaskan oleh pelayanan perpustakaan. Ketiga, Terdapat hubungan positif antara promosi perpustakaan, pelayanan perpustakaan secara bersamasama dengan penggunaan perpustakaan (Ry.12 = 0,58) pada taraf α= 0,05. koefisien determinasi Ry.1232 = 0,334, menunjukkan bahwa33,4 %. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan dan membuktikan terdapat hubungan yang kuat dan signifikan antara promosi perpustakaan dan pelayanan perpustakaan terhadap penggunaan perpustakaan.

Abstract

Total quality management is oriented towards the interests and needs of users. Therefore it is a strategic choice in managing and providing the best service to every user. This article seeks to explore how the school principal's policy in using total quality management for the realization of superior madrasas at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Payakumbuh. MAN 2 Payakumbuh which has obtained accreditation A has shown its contribution to learning through strategic policies and flagship programs. This research utilizes qualitative methods. Using observation, interviews and documentation in data collection. As well as conducting analysis with data reduction techniques, data display, and data verification. This article finds that the principal's policy, especially in the flagship program, has shown good results and responses from users. The school principal realizes total quality management in terms of school policies, especially in academic and non-academic programs. In addition, MAN 2 Payakumbuh has been awarded as a child-friendly school and favorite Islamic school in terms of quality of education by President Joko Widodo. These results can be expressed as the implementation of total quality that works in realizing superior madrasas.

Abstract

Training effectiveness is one of the determinant factor that could improve employees’ job performance. When we found in a government district office at Jambi Province where the organization had provided many training program to the employees but it had not had significant impact on their employees’ job performance. We realized that we need to study the factors which assumed to have relationship with the training effectiveness. Prior research in training effectiveness found that employees perceived toward the training program designed by organization and individual employees’ emotional intelligence had influence the training effectiveness. Based on those findings we formulated the aim of this study that is to investigate the relationship between the training program and employees’ emotional intelligence with the training effectiveness. This study designed as a quantitative research used sample of 209 employees derived by random sampling from its population. This study utilized questionnaires as instruments to collect empirical data. The correlational analysis technique used to analyze the data. This study had generated findings that there were strong relationship between the training program and employees’ emotional intelligence with training effectiveness.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Model pembelajaran kolaboratif aktif adalah pendekatan pembelajaran yang melibatkan interaksi antara siswa untuk saling berkolaborasi, berbagi pengetahuan, dan membangun pengetahuan bersama. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui implementasi desain pembelajaran berbasis kolaborasi dalam meningkatkan kreativitas siswa. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan isi analisis sedangkan pengumpulan datanya adalah observasi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Pembelajaran kolaboratif menengkankan pada proses pembelajaran secara bersama-sama antar peserta didik. Senada dengan pendapat wiersma bahwa” pembelajaran kolaboratif adalah filosofi: kata raja tagether, membangun tagether, belajar tagether, meningkatkan tagether”. Pembelajaran kolaboratif memiliki filosofi belajar bersama, bekerja sama, membangun pengetahuan bersama, melakukan perubahan pengetahuan bersama, dan mengalami kerja sama bersama. (2) kelebihan dan kekurangan pembelajaran kolaboratif yaitu meningkatkan kemampuan berkomunikasi dan menumbuhkan semangat bekerja sama, belajar dari satu sama lain sebagai sebuah kelompok, sedangkan kekurangannya, jika guru tidak mengawasi proses tidak akan berjalan pencampuran, proses panjang dan melelahkan yang membutuh kan kesabaran tingkat tinggi, memiliki teman yang tidak mau bekerja sama memang sulit. (3) implementasinya Pembelajaran dengan sistem tradisional hasilya banyak siswa menjadi bosan dalam belajar sehingga menimbulkan ketidakfokusan siswa dalam menyimak materi yang disampaikan, dan menyebabkan siswa menjadi kurang memahami materi belajarnya, sedangkan pembelajaran yang menggunakan desain kolaborasi cukup membantu siswa lebih kreatif dan lebih leluasa dalam menyampaikan pendapat mereka masing-masing. Abstract

Role playing learning model or role playing is a learning method that involves students to play characters in everyday life. Learning using the role playing method can make students more active and creative in following lessons. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the role playing learning model in increasing student learning motivation in PAI subjects at MAS Al Ikhlas. This research method uses a qualitative approach with content analysis. While the data collection is a literature review. The results of the study showed that the results of the initial observations conducted by the researcher showed that, as an initial step in implementing the role playing method, the researcher must know the previous method used by the teacher. The researcher conducted research in 2 classes, namely class X.1 as the Experimental class and class X.2 as the control class. The results of the observations conducted by the researcher were that class X.1 students had a low level of learning activity. where there are students who fall asleep during learning, there are students who are lazy during learning, there are students who are busy with their own affairs, and there are students who are busy chatting with their friends to the point of disrupting the learning conduciveness, The lowest student result before the treatment was 32, while the highest result was 43. After the treatment, students got the lowest score of 45 and the highest score of 57. The final result can be obtained that the experimental class using the role playing learning method got a higher average score of 80.25 than the control class using the lecture learning method, which was 72.15.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji penggunaan metode mind mapping terhadap kemampuan high order thinking skills dan aktivitas belajar peserta didik di sekolah menengah pertama Daarul Qur’an Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan metode eksperimen. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Posttest Only Control Design dengan pola desain penelitian Nonequivalent control group desain. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 56 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa wawancara, lembar observasi, dan soal tes. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan Analisis Mancova dengan taraf signifikasi α = 0,05 atau 5%. Penelitian ini menghasilkan tiga hal yaitu: (1) terdapat pengaruh metode pembelajaran Mind Mapping memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) siswa kelas IX di SMP Daarul Qur’an Jambi, berdasarkan Hasil uji statistik mancova diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,001<0,05. (2) terdapat pengaruh metode pembelajaran Mind Mapping memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa kelas IX di SMP Daarul Qur’an Jambi, berdasarkan Hasil uji statistik mancova diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,030<0,05. (3) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara metode pembelajaran Mind Mapping terhadap kemampuan High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) dan aktivitas belajar siswa kelas IX di SMP Daarul Qur’an Jambi sebesar 0,001 < 0,05. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang kreatif dan inovatif seperti Mind Mapping dalam proses pembelajaran PAI, maka dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi dan aktivitas belajar siswa

Abstract

This study investigates the significant influence of music on cognitive development and focus training in early childhood. The research highlights that music—particularly through engaging children's songs—plays a crucial role in enhancing cognitive skills. The literature review encompasses various studies demonstrating the positive effects of music on children's attention and working memory. These cognitive functions are essential for academic success, as children with better attention spans and memory capabilities tend to perform more effectively in tests and classroom activities. Moreover, the study indicates that participation in musical activities fosters social interaction and collaboration among children, further supporting their cognitive growth. Additionally, the findings reveal that music can help reduce anxiety and stress levels in young learners. A calm and pleasant musical background creates a soothing atmosphere, enabling children to concentrate more effectively on their learning tasks. This stress reduction is associated with improved cognitive performance, as children become less distracted by anxiety and more focused on their studies. The study also identifies gaps in the existing body of research and proposes that integrating music into early childhood education curricula may offer a comprehensive approach to supporting cognitive development. By incorporating music as an effective learning medium, educators, parents, and curriculum designers can enhance children's overall development, ensuring they are better prepared to face academic challenges. Ultimately, this study seeks to enrich the understanding of music's role in early childhood education and its potential benefits for both cognitive and emotional growth.

Abstract

Canva is a text-centric graphic design program frequently utilized for presentation materials. The implementation of the Canva application can assist and educate students in facilitating the creation of effective presentation materials. This community service initiative was conducted at the Al-Mujaddin Islamic Institute in Sabak, West Tanjung Jabung, Jambi, Indonesia, which has not fully utilized Canva. This community service initiative aims to train lecturers and students in enhancing their skills in developing effective presentation materials via Canva. This activity commences with the presentation of materials to the service participants, followed by training on how to produce presentation materials using Canva. Through presentation training and the use of the Canva application, lecturers and students are anticipated to effectively use these skills in the learning process of subjects necessitating technology-mediated presentations and to utilize presentation training appropriately. Prior to the training, many participants were unaware of the diverse features and advantages of the Canva application. Following the training, participants expressed satisfaction with their experience using Canva and acquired new knowledge and skills applicable to students. The utilization of the Canva application by participants is highly advantageous, enhancing interest, engagement, and self-assurance, which subsequently fosters creativity and comprehension of the subject matter. Recommendations entail offering professional development opportunities for professors and students, as well as delivering feedback to enhance the utilization of Canva in the classroom. This seminar highlights the potential of technology, namely the integration of Canva in educational settings, to improve motivation, creativity, and teamwork.
