Abstract

Building as a source of energy is not something extraordinary, as in BIPV (building-integrated photovoltaic) technology. Likewise, making buildings a NZEB (net zero energy building) has become a necessity in the context of saving energy use. One energy converter that has been used in buildings is PLTS or solar cells, which is a power plant that converts solar radiation into electrical energy (photovoltaic system). The conversion process is influenced by the direction of sunlight coming to the position of the solar cells that are placed on the roof of the building. This study aims to determine the effect of the direction of sunlight on the performance of solar cells, so that it is obtained from the right direction of sunlight. Solar cells are exposed to the north, east and west. The input parameters for each direction are the intensity of solar radiation, air humidity, wind speed, air temperature, upper side temperature and lower side temperature of the solar cell. Meanwhile, the resulting output parameters are electric voltage and electric current. The results showed that the north direction without cooling produced a total output power of 666.59 W and an average efficiency of 13.54%, for those using the cooler produced a total output power of 737.71 W and an average efficiency of 14.16%. East direction produces a total output power of 454.81 W and an average efficiency of 11.51%, for those using the cooling system it produces a total output power of 542.25 W and an average efficiency of 13.90%. West direction produces a total output power of 340.33 W and an average efficiency of 13.22% for those using a cooling system resulting in a total output power of 550.72 W and an average efficiency of 13.29%. The highest performance of solar cells is obtained from solar cells that are placed towards the North using a cooler where the total output power is 737.71 W and an average efficiency of 14.16%, and for without a cooling system the total output power is 666.59 W and the average efficiency is 13.54%.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is a research that develops mathematics learning tools using a model Blended Learning (BLENDER) on the material limit of algebraic functions. The background of this research is that mathematics learning tends to use the lecture method and students are not yet actively involved in the learning process, In addition, in the process of calculating the limit value, students still have difficulty. This study aims to develop mathematics learning tools, describe the quality of model learning tools Blended Learning and knowing the students' responses to the mathematics learning process on the material limit of algebraic functions. This study uses a model ADDIE which includes: (1) the analysis phase (Analysis), (2) the design phase, (3) the development phase, (4) the implementation phase, and (5) the evaluation phase. The learning tools developed are the syllabus and lesson plans. The subjects of this study were students of class XII TEI SMK Negeri 2 Bojonegoro. The object of research is all the learning tools developed by the researcher. The learning tools developed are the syllabus and lesson plans. The subjects of this study were students of class XII TEI SMK Negeri 2 Bojonegoro. The object of research is all learning tools developed by researchers. Data collection techniques used are observation and interviews. The results of the study show that: 1) Learning tools have been successfully developed using the ADDIE model, 2) The results of the validation of learning devices are 4 including good categories. The results of student completeness reached 91.4% in the very good category, 3) The results of the questionnaire student responses to the learning process using the Blended Learning model obtained 82.9% results included in the good category. Abstract

This study aims to describe the demographic characteristics and the level of employee well-being (EWB) among university students working part-time in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), as well as to analyze the relationship and influence of demographic variables on the three core dimensions of EWB: Life Well-being (LWB), Workplace Well-being (WWB), and Psychological Well-being (PWB). Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 496 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The data were gathered via an online questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and multiple linear regression. The results show that many respondents were female, 21 years old, enrolled in public universities, in their final semester, and working in the small-scale food and beverage sector. Overall, EWB levels were relatively high, particularly in the WWB and PWB dimensions, while LWB was at a moderate level. Age, type of university, and semester showed significant but weak relationships and influences on certain dimensions of well-being. These findings highlight the need for greater support to enhance the well-being of student workers in informal employment settings.

Abstract

Abstract Chicken claw foundations have proven to be an effective solution in increasing the stability of building structures, especially in areas with soft soil conditions and a high risk of earthquakes. Hardiyatmo's research (2015) shows that this system is able to increase the bearing capacity of the soil by up to 35% through optimizing the stiffness of the foundation plate so that it is suitable for application in infrastructure projects on problematic soil. Meanwhile, Prakoso and Kumara (2018) revealed that the chicken claw foundation design can reduce the earthquake response of multi-storey buildings by up to 20% and increase construction cost efficiency by 15% compared to conventional methods. Material innovation is also an important factor, as found by Kusuma and Hidayat (2020) who show that the use of high quality concrete and geotextiles is able to optimize bearing capacity and withstand deformation due to earthquakes up to 25% better than standard materials. These studies confirm that chicken claw foundations are an adaptive and economical alternative for earthquake-prone areas with challenging soil conditions Keywords: Chicken claw foundation, soft soil, seismic response, bearing capacity, construction efficiency, innovative materials, earthquake prone areas Abstrak Pondasi cakar ayam terbukti menjadi solusi efektif dalam meningkatkan stabilitas struktur bangunan, terutama pada daerah dengan kondisi tanah lunak dan resiko gempa tinggi. Penelitian Hardiyatmo (2015) menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini mampu meningkatkan daya dukung tanah hingga 35% melalui optimalisasi kekakuan pelat pondasi sehingga cocok diterapkan pada proyek infrastruktur pada tanah bermasalah. Sedangkan Prakoso dan Kumara (2018) mengungkapkan bahwa desain pondasi cakar ayam dapat menurunkan respon gempa gedung bertingkat hingga 20% dan meningkatkan efisiensi biaya konstruksi sebesar 15% dibandingkan dengan metode konvensional. Inovasi material juga menjadi faktor penting, seperti yang ditemukan oleh Kusuma dan Hidayat (2020) yang menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan beton dan geotekstil berkualitas tinggi mampu mengoptimalkan daya dukung dan menahan deformasi akibat gempa hingga 25% lebih baik dibandingkan material standar. Studi-studi ini menegaskan bahwa pondasi cakar ayam merupakan alternatif yang adaptif dan ekonomis untuk daerah rawan gempa dengan kondisi tanah yang menantang. Abstract

This study aims to develop independence-based learning management in improving student learning achievement. Using library research method with literature review approach in analyzing data and information about independence-based learning management in improving student learning achievement. The result of the research shows that the management of independence-based learning is implemented in ways: the first stage determines clear and specific learning objectives to improve student learning achievement, the second stage develops effective and efficient learning plans to achieve learning objectives, in the third stage uses digital technology to support the self-learning process in improving student learning achievement, the fourth stage guides and accompanies students in the self-learning process to ensure increased student learning achievement, in the fifth stage evaluates the self-learning process, and in the sixth stage develops strategies to improve student learning achievement. The findings of this study are expected to add insight to educators, and educational practitioners in developing independence-based learning management in improving student achievement.

Abstract

The effectiveness of School-Based Management (SBM)-based extracurricular programs in developing students' soft skill characteristics still faces challenges, particularly in evaluating their impact. In response to this issue, this study aims to describe the influence of SBM-based extracurricular programs on the development of elementary students’ soft skills, including leadership, discipline, responsibility, honesty, and self-confidence. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach conducted at SD Negeri 7 Tahunan, Jepara. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model, involving data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the implementation of extracurricular programs managed participatively and supported by external coaches significantly contributes to shaping students' soft skills. Students showed improvement in discipline through regular attendance and rule compliance, responsibility through task completion in groups, honesty in activity reporting, as well as leadership and confidence through participation in scouting and sports. The implementation of SBM, which involves various stakeholders such as teachers, parents, and coaches, fosters an inclusive, reflective, and sustainable learning ecosystem that effectively supports character development through non-academic activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis peran stakeholder dalam pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana sekolah melalui pendekatan Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah (MBS). Sarana dan prasarana merupakan komponen penting dalam menunjang proses pembelajaran yang efektif dan berkualitas. Melalui pendekatan MBS, keterlibatan berbagai stakeholder seperti kepala sekolah, guru, komite sekolah, dan masyarakat menjadi faktor krusial dalam menciptakan tata kelola yang transparan, akuntabel, dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif korelasional, dengan pengumpulan data melalui angket dan wawancara terhadap 16 responden di MI Terpadu Ibnu Sina Jepara. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan antara peran stakeholder dan efektivitas pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana, dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,754 dan signifikansi 0,000. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa partisipasi aktif stakeholder dalam perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi berkontribusi langsung terhadap peningkatan kualitas fasilitas pendidikan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pentingnya penguatan komunikasi, pelatihan, dan budaya kolaboratif di lingkungan sekolah guna mengoptimalkan peran stakeholder dalam pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana berbasis MBS.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of school management in developing local culture-based education. Local culture-based education is a learning approach that integrates local cultural values as a contextual, relevant, and meaningful learning resource for students. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study method in an elementary school that has successfully implemented local culture comprehensively in various aspects of learning activities. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results show that school management plays a strategic role in formulating policies, supporting culture-based learning programs, and establishing partnerships with the community for cultural preservation. The principal, teachers, and education staff actively integrate local cultural elements into the curriculum, extracurricular activities, and the learning environment. Despite facing challenges such as limited resources and lack of training for educators, this school is able to demonstrate a strong and consistent commitment to making local culture the foundation for character and identity formation for students. This study confirms that collaboration between stakeholders is key to success in realizing education rooted in local wisdom. By involving parents and the community, schools can create a more inclusive and supportive learning environment. These findings demonstrate that community involvement in the educational process not only enriches students' learning experiences but also strengthens their sense of belonging to local culture. This research significantly contributes to the development of educational models that focus not only on academic aspects but also on the development of student character and identity rooted in local cultural values. Through this approach, it is hoped that students will grow into individuals who are not only academically intelligent but also have an awareness and appreciation for their own culture.

Abstract

School financial management is a vital component in supporting the effectiveness and quality of education. However, the implementation of accountability principles at the elementary level often faces various challenges, such as limited administrative skills, lack of transparency, and low stakeholder participation. This study aims to examine the implementation of accountability principles within the framework of School-Based Management (SBM) in managing school finances at SD Negeri 1 Tanjung, Jepara. Using a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study design, data were collected through semi-structured interviews, non-participant observations, and documentation. Research subjects included the principal, treasurer, teachers, and school committee. The data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, and data validity was ensured through triangulation of sources and methods. The results show that the school has applied several accountability procedures, including participatory planning through RKAS, digital financial reporting via ARKAS, and public transparency efforts such as financial disclosures in meetings and notice boards. Nonetheless, the school still encounters challenges such as delayed government funding disbursements, limited financial administration skills, and passive community involvement. This study provides valuable insights for improving financial governance in schools by recommending regular capacity-building training, the use of user-friendly digital systems, and increased community participation in financial oversight. The findings are expected to serve as a reference for similar schools and inform local education authorities in developing more accountable school financial management practices.

Abstract

This study aims to deeply uncover the learning management tactics implemented by teachers in an effort to improve student learning satisfaction at the elementary school level. Learning satisfaction is an important indicator of the success of the educational process because it is closely related to motivation, active involvement, and student academic outcomes. This study was conducted at SDN 3 Kaliombo, Jepara, using a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used included observation of learning activities, interviews with teachers, and documentation in the form of learning notes and class activity plans. The results show that teachers use a variety of innovative and adaptive learning strategies, including a scientific approach, collaborative learning, the use of interactive learning media, and conducive and student-friendly classroom management. The role of teachers is not only as a deliverer of material, but also as a facilitator, motivator, and guide who creates a learning atmosphere that is fun, communicative, and meaningful for students. The tactics used by teachers also consider student characteristics, including their learning styles, levels of understanding, and emotional needs. Active student involvement in the learning process is key to improving their learning satisfaction. This study emphasizes the importance of teachers' role in designing and implementing appropriate learning strategies to support the achievement of educational goals. The implications of these findings suggest that ongoing training for teachers is essential to strengthen their professional capacity in implementing more creative, responsive, and student-oriented learning approaches.
