Abstract

Arabic listening and writing skills are important aspects of language learning that require innovative learning approaches. Especially at the secondary education level, such as class VIII MTs Muhammadiyah Blimbing Sukoharjo, the mainchallenge in developing these skills is involving students actively in the learning process. Competency in the Arabic listening and writing skills of class VIII students at MTs Muhammadiyah Blimbing Sukoharjo is still felt to be lacking, this isinfluenced by several factors, both in terms of facilities and infrastructure, or learning methods that are not in accordance with listening and writing skills. These two skills require innovative and creative learning methods. Therefore, this research is motivated by the need to find effective learning methods and motivate students to improve their listening and writing skills in Arabic. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of The Dictogloss method in improving the Arabic listening and writing skills of class VIII students at MTs Muhammadiyah Blimbing Sukoharjo.This research uses a quantitative approach with test and non-testinstruments. The aim of the research involves analyzing the effectiveness of The Dictogloss method on students' speaking and listening skills and finding out the application of the method.The research results showed that the  application of The Dictogloss method significantly improved the listening and writing skills of class VIII students at MTs Muhammadiyah Blimbing Sukoharjo. The experimental class showed an increase in the average pre-test score for listening skills from 68.71 to 72.76 on the post-test, and an increase in the average pre-test score for writing skills from 75.76 to 85.50 on thepost-test. Meanwhile, the control class showed a lower increase, with an average pre-test score for listening skills of 68.06 to 71.88 on the post-test, and an average pre-test score for writing skills of 72.35 to 77. .76 on the post-test. By using the t-test, tcount = -3.243200853, while the t table for N=68 and dk=66 is 1.668270514, with a significance level of 5%. Therefore, this study concludes that the application of The Dictogloss method effectively contributes to improving the Arabic listening and writing skills of class VIII students at MTs Muhammadiyah Blimbing Sukoharjo.

Abstract

The research that developed android-based interactive learning media in Arabic language learning in maharah kitabah aims to analyze the needs of students and teachers in the development of interactive media, describe the development of prototypes in the developed media, analyze the feasibility of the developed interactive media and the responses of students and teachers to the developed media. Methods used in this study is Research and Development (RnD) with the development model used is ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The types of data taken in this study are quantitative data and qualitative data.  Quantitative data analysis techniques are in the form of analysis of feasibility test data by experts, analysis of student responses. Meanwhile, qualitative data analysis techniques are in the form of source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results of problem analysis, media analysis, and analysis of student and teacher needs show that media development is needed with 98% approval from students and teachers. The results of the media feasibility test by the validators of media experts and material experts received an average score of 3.49 from media experts with the "feasible" category and an average score of 3.47 from material experts with the "feasible" category to be used in the learning process. The analysis of student and teacher responses is very helpful in the development of the My Kitabah application.

Abstract

Learning Arabic now tends to utilize various media as tools to enhance the effectiveness of the learning process. One of the media that is currently popular among young people is KPOP songs. The use of audiovisual media based on songs as a medium for learning Arabic has become the focus of research to enhance the effectiveness of learning. With the presence of audiovisual media based on songs, it can refer to the interests and development of the fourth-grade students at MI Negeri 5 North Jakarta who have not yet achieved the learning objectives in speaking skills. Therefore, a fun and appropriate method is needed so that students do not get bored and tired in class. The objective of this research is to determine the effectiveness of implementing audiovisual media based on the song "Candy" by NCT Dream on the pronunciation of Arabic vocabulary among fourth-grade students at MI Negeri 5 North Jakarta. The type and design of this research are experimental with a quasi-experimental non-equivalent group design. The data collection techniques in this study use both test and non-test techniques. For the test technique, the instrument used is an oral test, while for the non-test technique, the instruments used are observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. As for The data analysis technique used is the hypothesis test (t-test). The results of this study indicate that the audiovisual media based on the song "Candy" by NCT Dream is effective in improving the Arabic speaking skills of fourth-grade students at MI Negeri 5 North Jakarta. This is evidenced by the average posttest score of the control class, which is 77.03, and the average posttest score of the experimental class, which is 75.21. Then, the data analysis at the normality test level for both the control class and the experimental class in the pre-test and post-test showed a normal distribution. Furthermore, the t-test calculation using SPSS version 22 yielded a significance value of 0.001 for both the pre-test and post-test, which means that the significance value of 0.001 < 0.05. Therefore, this indicates that there is an influence from the audiovisual media based on the song "Candy" by NCT Dream on the post-test results of the experimental class. Thus, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Meanwhile, based on the results of the closed questionnaire filled out by the students, it also proves that the students can follow the lessons well and easily understand Arabic language learning in speaking skills using audiovisual media based on the song "Candy" by NCT Dream.

Abstract

This research aimed to explore the forms and characteristics of Arabic written symbols used in traditional medicine. Traditional medicine is in demand by the public, because of the perceived high cure rate and the failure of modern treatment that patients have undergone after undergoing medical treatment. Traditional medicine is more convincing than medical treatment. There has not been much research regarding the characteristics and methods of traditional medicine using Arabic symbols/writing. Arabic symbols or writing have been researched more in terms of meaning and ritual. Hence, this research utilized data source triangulation and technical triangulation. This qualitative research adopted a phenomenological approach. The research subjects were traditional medicine practitioners who used Arabic symbols/writing in their treatments and patients who had used traditional medicine. Determining the subjects of this research was carried out using a purposive sampling technique. The research results showed that prayers originating from the Qur'an and rajah with Arabic letter symbols were the therapist's mainstay medicine for treating patients. The use of prayers and rajahs with Arabic letter symbols varied from one therapist to another. Rajah in traditional medicine was used to treat various kinds of patient complaints. The rajah writing came from the books of Shams al Ma'arif al Kubra and Al Mujarrabat. Rajah came from verses from the Qur'an which were rewritten in the book of medicine. Proper interpretation and use of the Qur'an could provide effective improvements to a person's weak mental and psychological condition.

Abstract

A movie can be used as an effective and feasible medium for delivering messages; this served as the study's rationale. This research acquired communicative speeches in the Salahuddin Al Ayyubi movie. This research aimed to explore two objectives: to describe the form of directive speech acts and to find out the functions of the directive speech acts. The techniques used in this research comprised: (1) uninvolved conversation observation; (2) recording; (3) transcription; and (4) note-taking. The results showed that (1) there were six forms of directive speech acts in the dialogues of "Saladin al-Ayyubi", i.e., imperative, request, invitation, advice, criticism, and prohibition; (2) the functions of directive speech acts in the dialogues of "Saladin al -Ayyubi” are quite varied. The imperative functions had 83 speech data. The request function comprised 52 speech data. The invitation function involved 33 speech data. The advice function consisted of 39 speech data. The criticism act had 13 speech data. The prohibition function consisted of 23 speech data.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital utamanya di bidang kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence, disingkat AI) sangat melesat saat ini. Perubahan teknologi besar yang memberikan peluang positif bagiproduktivitas kinerja, tentu berdampak pada SDM (Sumber Daya Manusia) di berbagai lini untuk beradaptasi. Penggunaan media sosial dan AI khususnya bagi para guru menjadi tuntutan penting guna menunjang kinerja dan performa profesional. Para guru perlu mendapatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan terkait ini, mengingat di lapangan masih banyak yang mengalami gagap teknologi(gaptek) dan kurang up date mengikuti inovasi teknologi terbaru. Sementara para siswa generasi saat ini tumbuh berkembang dengan teknologi digital, media sosial, smartphone, dan internet dalamkeseharian. Berangkat dari kondisi tersebut, pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuanmeningkatkan literasi digital dan produktivitas kinerja para guru di Kabupaten Klaten melalui pelatihanpemanfaatan teknologi AI, program Canva, dan Tiktok. Program pengabdian ini dipilih lantaran para guruyang dijadikan sasaran pengabdian mengalami kendala menggunakan aplikasi teknologi digital berbasis AI, program Canva, dan Tiktok. Selain itu masih terbatas pengetahuan para guru memanfaatkan teknologi terkait, sementara keterampilan itu menjadi kebutuhan pokok zaman sekarang. Berdasarkan analisis situasi,permasalahan, dan kebutuhan mitra, dapat disimpulkan kegiatan ini sangat penting dilakukan. Teknis pelaksanaan pengabdian dilakukan dua kali: 1) penyampaian materi, diskusi, dan praktik pemanfaatan teknologi kecerdasan buatan, program canva, dan Tiktok; 2) pendampingan praktik pemanfaatan teknologi kecerdasan buatan, program Canva, dan Tiktok. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan setelah pelatihan, para guru mampu memanfaatkan teknologi IA, menggunaan program Canva dan Tiktok dengan lebih maksimal.
