Abstract

Teacher performance evaluation is the process of assessing and measuring a person's performance, which is always compared with the expected goals, objectives, and standards. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the performance of grade 3 and 6 elementary school teachers in learning using the Charlotte Danielson model. The type of research used is evaluation research, with descriptive methods and mixed-method approaches. The research was conducted at SDN Kutowinangun 07 and SDN Kutowinangun 08, Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, documentation, and teacher performance assessment questionnaires. To guarantee the validity of the data, researchers use triangulation of data sources and triangulation of methods. Data analysis techniques use qualitative descriptives to analyze data obtained from interviews, observations, and documents. Quantitative analysis is used to analyze numerical data from questionnaires filled out by teachers or peers. The results showed that the performance of grade 3 and 6 teachers of SDN Kutowinangun 07 and SDN Kutowinangun 08 in planning and preparing learning, managing classes, learning processes and in showing their professional responsibilities were included in the very good category. From the results of the four domains above, it can provide recommendations for principals to improve the performance weaknesses of each teacher and continue to develop teacher abilities.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan hasil evaluasi implementasi kebijakan Asesmen Nasional (AN) pada jenjang Sekolah Dasar di Kota Magelang. Asesmen Nasional merupakan upaya evaluasi terhadap sistem pendidikan oleh KemDikBud yang berupa program penilaian terhadap mutu setiap sekolah pada jenjang dasar dan menengah, yang kemudian dapat diperoleh informasi sebagai bahan untuk memperbaiki kualitas belajar mengajar. Penelitian Evaluasi ini berawal dari kebutuhan evaluasi dari kebijakan penerapan/implementasi Asesmen Nasional. Subyek dari penelitian ini adalah Dinas Pendidikan Kota Magelang, Kepala Sekolah dan Guru Sekolah Negeri dan Swasta. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan bagaimana implementasi kebijakan Asesmen Nasional pada jenjang sekolah dasar di Kota Magelang didasarkan pada model evaluasi responsif stake dan juga sesuai dengan standar dari Panduan Operasional Standar (POS) Asesmen Nasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Pada tahap pendahuluan, Dinas Pendidikan Kota Magelang memenuhi standar kualifikasi POS Asesmen Nasional; 2) Pada tahap proses, terjadi beberapa kendala namun berhasil diatasi dengan baik; 3) Pada tahap hasil, Kota Magelang mampu menorehkan prestasi khususnya dalam hal literasi. Dampak yang diberikan memang belum signifikan karena ini merupakan evaluasi Asesmen Nasional pada tahap yang pertama.

Abstract

The performance teachers in the preliminary study still use teacher-centred methods, both teachers who have received certification and those who have not. On the other hand, the evaluation in schools is still on teacher performance related to learning design and the learning process in the class. Therefore, social, personality and professional competencies are still less reviewed. The purpose of this study is to evaluate teachers' performance based on their gender and work experience in public senior high schools in Maluku Barat Daya (MBD) district. Four main components were used to assess teacher performance: lesson planning and preparation, class management, lesson implementation, and professional responsibility. Data was collected from twelve teachers using the Charlotte Danielson Evaluation Model. Simple qualitative and quantitative approaches were used to collect data. The results showed that both female and male teachers planned and designed lessons well. In class management, female teachers performed very well, while male teachers performed well. In implementation, female teachers performed very well, while male teachers were categorized as good. Professional responsibility was evaluated as good for both gender groups. The study also showed that gender affects class management and implementation performance, while work experience has no significant effect.

Abstract

The research aims to evaluate the program of the Pancasila student profile strengthening project in elementary schools in Semarang Regency, Indonesia. This research method used the CSE-UCLA evaluation model with a qualitative approach that included the aspects of program assessment, program planning, program implementation, program improvement, and program certification. The data sources came from the school principal/curriculum teachers, classroom teachers, students, and the parents of students at Pangudi Luhur Ambarawa Elementary School and Tlompakan 1 Tuntang Elementary School in Semarang Regency. Data collection was through interviews, document studies, and observations. The data analysis technique used qualitative descriptive methods. The research results showed that in the Assessment program, P5 was implemented in accordance with the vision, mission, and objectives. The theme and project options were chosen based on environmental issues and the needs of the students, and the project was also supported by the parents; Program planning, both schools had goals to be achieved in P5 so that the project ran with a clear direction and purpose; Program implementation, teachers have good strategies in carrying out P5 but improvements were needed in the socialization of the P5 program; Program improvement, there needs to be enhancements in the documentation of monitoring and supervision results; Certification program, the goals of the P5 program were achieved and all parties were satisfied with the existence of the P5 program, which had a positive impact on the students. The P5 program was running well, and all stakeholders were satisfied. However, there was a need for improvement in documentation and communication with students' parents. In addition, it is necessary to broaden project options, support teachers, and encourage them to prioritize character development over tangible results.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan bimbingan belajar dan merancang website bimbingan belajar di SD N Cebongan 1 Salatiga. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan mengambil model Sugiyono (2019:404) sampai tujuh tahapan. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, dokumentasi, wawancara, dan lembar angket. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan pelaksanaan bimbingan belajar di SD N Cebongan 1 Salatiga dilakukan secara konvensional. Hal ini membutuhkan banyak tenaga dan juga waktu. Sehingga kegiatan bimbingan belajar yang dilakukan masih terbatas dan kurang lengkap, serta tidak tersedia dalam jangka waktu yang singkat saat dibutuhkan. Kemudian dilakukan pengembangan website bimbingan belajar. Produk diujicobakan kepada 3 guru kelas dan 84 siswa. Hasil ujicoba produk telah mencapai kualifikasi sangat valid dengan ditunjukkan persentase 84.17% oleh guru dan 81.09% oleh siswa. Pengembangan website bimbingan belajar memfasilitasi pelaksanaan bimbingan belajar yang efektif dan efisien karena website memberikan peningkatan pelayanan dan kualitas bimbingan belajar

Abstract

Art education is one of the major determinants in improving the skills of 21st century students. Various assessment in art education is held to create active and creative students, one of them is the performance-based arts and culture assessment. The limited ability of teachers and the lack of learning resources for teachers so that the implementation in several schools has not been implemented and is not running effectively and efficiently, so teachers need reinforcement in the form of training. This study aims to see the effect of performance-based cultural arts practice assessments training for arts and culture teachers. The training was carried out in a limited with a small sample of 5 art and culture teachers from SMKN 1, SMKN 2, SMKN 3, SMK Bhakti Nusantara Salatiga.  The research used quantitative research with a pre-experimental of One Group Pretest Posttest Design with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, documentation studies and tests. Interviews and documentation studies were conducted to analyze the needs of the training carried out. The test used to measure the teacher's understanding and knowledge of material by giving a pretest and posttest. The data analysis technique was processed by quantitative descriptive techniques by conducting the Normality Test and the Paired Samples T-Test. The results showed that the value of sig. (2-tailed) is 0.012 (< 0.050), meaning that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Therefore, it can be said that there is an increase in competence between before and after the training is carried out.

Abstract

Clinical supervision is a systematic approach to mentoring professional teachers. This research aims to improve teachers' pedagogical competence at Bintang Laut Telukdalam Private Middle School through the implementation of clinical supervision with a collaborative approach by the school principal. This type of research is school action research. This research used the Kemmis and Tagart model, which is carried out in 4 stages: planning, implementation or action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques used by the researcher are interviews, observation, documentation, and questionnaires. The results of the research show that the implementation of clinical supervision with a collaborative approach by the principal can increase the pedagogical competence of teachers at Bintang Laut Telukdalam Private Middle School, which can be proven by increasing the average teacher pedagogical competency score, namely: before providing clinical supervision the average competency score teacher pedagogy was 63, after providing clinical supervision it increased to 78 in cycle I and 81 in cycle II which was above the specified success criteria, namely 75. From these results, it can be concluded that implementing clinical supervision with a collaborative approach can increase teachers' pedagogy competency at Bintang Laut Telukdalam Private Middle School. AbstrakSupervisi klinis adalah suatu pendekatan yang sistematis dalam pembinaan profesional guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru SMP Swasta Bintang Laut Telukdalam melalui penerapan supervisi klinis dengan pendekatan kolaboratif oleh kepala sekolah. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan model Kemmis dan Tagart yang merupakan sebuah model penelitian yang dilakukan dengan 4 tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan atau tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan supervisi klinis dengan pendekatan kolaboratif oleh kepala sekolah dapat meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru SMP Swasta Bintang Laut Telukdalam yang dapat dibuktikan dengan peningkatan rata-rata nilai kompetensi pedagogik guru yaitu: sebelum pemeberian tindakan supervisi klinis dengan pendekatan kolaboratif rata-rata nilai kompetensi pedagogik guru 63, setelah pemberian tindakan supervisi klinis dengan pendekatan kolaboratif meningkat menjadi 78 pada siklus I dan 81 pada siklus II yang berada di atas kriteria keberhasilan yang ditentukan yaitu 75. Dari hasil tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan supervisi klinis dengan pendekatan kolaboratif dapat meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru SMP Swasta Bintang Laut Telukdalam.Kata Kunci: kompetensi pedagogik guru; pendekatan kolaboratif; supervisi klinis

Abstract

Since most students begin their studies online, the LMS platform is frequently used. Universities and colleges play a crucial role in adopting many of its LMS platforms. A web-based application software package called Bibliometrics is used to design, test, and evaluate specific learning processes. LMS will be the dominant artificial intelligence-based solution for managing eLearning starting in early 2021. The principal objective of this project is to develop an artificial intelligence-powered LMS portal that enables students to continue studying and receive the most recent lessons from their teachers. Using the Communicate cloud software and Dialog Flow, a chatbot plugin system connected to the Google platform, and based on current needs, research bibliometrics was developed as an LMS project system. Students can interact with the chatbot anytime to satisfy their learning needs as long as they have an internet connection and a student ID card to access the dashboard. The LMS Platform, which was developed utilizing Bibliometrics and Artificial Intelligence approaches to help students access resources and complete teacher tasks, is a novelty in this work, according to earlier publications that have been evaluated.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to extend a guideline for creating High Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) questions or test for Computer and Network Engineering majors at the Vocational High School in Salatiga City. Research and development (R & D) approach is used in this research. This research uses the five steps of the Borg and Gall (1983) model: research and information gathering, data collection, product design, design validation, and design revision. All vocational school teachers majoring in Computer Engineering and Networks in Salatiga City were participated in this research. Data collection techniques were carried out by document studies, interviews, and questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out by qualitative analysis. The results of the research were in the form of extending a guideline for creating HOTS questions and test for Computer and Network Engineering teachers at Vocational High Schools in Salatiga City. Based on limited trials, this guideline received a score of 3,68 out of a maximum score of 4,00. That is what makes a book great. So, it can be concluded that this guideline can be used for Computer and network engineering teachers outside Salatiga City.

Abstract

Program pelatihan untuk guru-guru Bahasa Inggris yang dilaksanakan selama ini belum menyentuh esensinya dan belum memberikan bukti nyata. Hal itu dikarenakan belum adanya modul atau acuan yang digunakan oleh guru-guru dalam mengikuti pelatihan selama ini, Ditambah lagi tidak ada tindak lanjut dan evaluasi setelah pelaksanaan diklat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul pelatihan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek berorientasi soft skill untuk guru Bahasa Inggris di SMK. Subjek penelitian adalah guru-guru Bahasa Inggris dari empat SMK. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Metode penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif-kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, test, observasi, dokumentasi, dan survey di lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis proyek sesuai dan bagus dilakukan dalam pengajaran Bahasa Inggris di SMK; materi diklat  Bahasa Inggris di SMK selama ini dilaksanakan secara bersamaan dengan mata pelajaran lain; materi diklat Bahasa Inggris  yang diberikan di SMK sebatas pemberian materi melalui powerpoint dari instruktur; modul pelatihan yang dikembangkan mendapatkan validasi dari 3 ahli memenuhi kriteria sangat valid (>80%). Hasil observasi pelaksanaan pelatihan dengan modul pelatihan mendapatkan hasil 84% berkategori baik. Tanggapan guru terhadap modul pelatihan sebesar 83,55% berkategori baik. Pelaksanaan pelatihan menggunakan modul menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kompetensi guru sebesar 86,6%. Modul Pelatihan yang dikembangkan terbukti sangat valid dan efektif untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru-guru Bahasa Inggris dalam pengajaran di kelas.
