Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan wujud campur kode yang ditemukan pada hasil menulis teks berita dan struktur Bahasa Madura yang digunakan campur kode pada tugas menulis teks berita. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa kata yang mengindikasikan adanya wujud campur kode Bahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Madura pada tugas menulis teks berita. Pada penelitian ini ditemukan fenomena campur kode dan penggunaan struktur Bahasa Madura dalam tugas menulis kembali teks berita yang telah dibaca. Wujud campur kode yang ditemukan pada tugas menulis teks berita siswa kelas 8 SMP Negeri 1 Mayang meliputi 1) campur kode berwujud kata berupa campur kode berwujud kata kerja, kata sifat, kata benda, kata tugas, dan 2) campur kode berwujud frasa. Struktur bahasa Madura yang ditemukan pada tugas menulis teks berita siswa kelas 8 SMP Negeri 1 Mayang anataralain 1) bentuk ulang/ reduplikasi, 2) konstruksi posesif, 3) konstruksi imperatif, 4) konstruksi “berlagak seperti orang...”, serta 5) morfofonemik prefiks N-

Abstract

Tindak tutur ilokusi yang ada dalam pembelajaran daring sangat dimungkinkan beragam dan mempunyai peranan yang sangat penting. Peran penting tersebut ialah sebagai sarana dalam bertutur agar maksud tuturan dapat tersampaikan dengan jelas dan mudah dimengerti. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan dan mendeskripsikan ragam tidak tutur ilokusi yang ada dalam  proses pembelajaran daring. Sumber data penelitian ini ialah video pembelajaran  daring guru Bahasa Indonesia di SMAN Arjasa dengan menggunakan aplikasi Zoom. Kajian ini menjadikan tuturan guru Bahasa Indonesia yang diindikasikan mengandung tindak ilokusi di dalamnya sebagai data. Penelitian ini  dirancang sebagai penelitian kualitatif dengan menerapkan metode deskriptif interpretatif. Pendekatan yang diterapkan dalam rangka analis data ialah pendekatan pragmatik. Proses pengumpulan dilakukan dengan melakukan perekaman pada saat guru melakukan  pembelajaran daring melalui aplikasi Zoom. Kemudian, rekaman tersebut disimak dan dicatat guna mendapatkan data yang sesuai dengan rumusan masalah. Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa guru menggunakan tindak tutur ilokusi pada tiap-tiap bagian dalam proses pembelajaran, yaitu pada bagian pembukaan dan apersepsi, kegiatan inti, dan kegiatan penutup. Pada tiap bagian tersebut, muncul berbagai tindak ilokusi baik tindak ilokusi asertif, direktif, komisif, ekspresif, maupun deklaratif. Ragam tindak tutur yang ditemukan tersebut diharapkan mampu menjadi bahan pengayaan bagi guru semua mata pelajaran pada umumnya dan lebih khusus mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia.

Abstract

The song Asmarandana was created by Raden Ngabei Yasadipura whose diction comes from the Javanese language so that it cannot be directly understood by the general public. The purpose of this study was to reveal the use of diction, rhyme, meaning, and to find out the public's response to the song. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Data collection was carried out using library and interview techniques. The research results are as follows. The diction uses the Javanese language which is adapted to the rhyme with other dictions in one line and stanzas. The rhyme of the Asmarandana song is that there are seven lines in each gatra, the wilangan is 8-8-8-8-7-8-8, and the song is i-a-e-a-a-u. As for the meaning of the Asmarandana song, namely: every human being who will undergo a marriage should not only look at looks and wealth but look at the heart and character for happiness that is sakinah mawaddah warahmah. The public's response to the song is divided into three, namely: the Santri community, Javanese, and modern. The santri community interprets the Asmarandana song as a form of reasoning in the letter Ar-rum verse 21 that humans are created in pairs. The Javanese people interpret the Asmarandana song as being associated with the terms seed, bebet, and weight. Modern society is generally no longer familiar with the Asmarandana song, but most of them in looking for a life partner are still guided by the requirements contained in the Asmarandana song.

Abstract

Penelitan ini mengkaji penggunaan ungkapan kritik masyarakat Madura dalam ranah pergaulan dan tetangga di Besuki Raya. Fokus penelitian mengungkap 1) konteks kritik tersebut diproduksi, 2) bentuk dan model kritik, serta 3) fungsi kritik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode etnografi komunikasi. Penyediaan data menggunakan teknik simak, sumber data berupa ungkapan (lisan) dari masyarakat Madura yang direkam/catat sebagai data primer. Temuan dalam penelitian ini: 1) kritik disampaikan dalam konteks komunikasi dalam ranah keluarga, meliputi utang piutang, antartetangga, dan ketubuhan; 2) bentuk dan model kritik yang digunakan yakni menggunakan metafora, humor, nasihat, bahasa kasar, ancaman halus, nyanyian, orang ketiga, surat tulis, objek benda, objek hewan, sanjungan, dan menggerutu (ngaronyam); 3) fungsi kritik dalam ranah pergaulan dan tetangga meliputi bentuk perhatian dengan mengutarakan kesalahan dan kekurangan orang lain, bentuk keakraban antarteman dan tetangga, ekspresi untuk mengungkapkan kekesalan.

Abstract

Mamaca belongs to the tradition of Madurese community in which it is conducted by singing the poetry text. This explanation ensures that mamaca uses a beautiful language. The stories contained in mamaca text are very diverse, some are taken from babad story, the stories of the prophets, the stories of historical figures, and fictional stories or figures containing petotor or advices. Based on the diverse contents written on the texts, it makes mamaca plays an important role in the existence and influence on oral mamaca tradition in Madurese community. Its existence in the community is done by strengthening the literacy through mamaca. Literacy strengthening through mamaca was expected to become a medium in strengthening the character of Madurese community, especially by delivering the religious values. Qualitative method was applied in this reserach to understand a social phenomenon holistically (as a whole). This qualitative method allowed us to understand and view people as they expressed their views of themselves.

Abstract

Mamaca is a tradition of the Madurese community in the form of reading texts in the form of poetry by singing them so that mamaca must use beautiful or archaic language. The stories in the Mamaca text come from babad stories, stories of prophets, stories of historical figures, as well as stories taken from fictional stories or figures that are filled with petotor or advice. Based on the various contents of the text, making mamaca is very important for strengthening the character of young people, one of them in Situbondo. Mamaca is one of the intangible inheritances (WTB) in Situbondo. The problem that then arises is the difficulty of regenerating the mamaca tradition. Through the piloting of the Mamaca School in the Arjasa Situbondo District, it is hoped that the Mamaca tradition will continue to grow rapidly among the younger generation. With the acceptance of the mamaca tradition in the younger generation, it is hoped that character education can be carried out through this tradition.

Abstract

In Indonesia, the trend of products using religious commodities filled the economic market, which used "halal" diction. This study aims to answer several questions. Firstly how is the halal commodification process produced related to Wardah products? Second, how is the halal commodification process produced related to Wardah advertisements? The last is about the halal commodification process in which discourse and a "power" battle space occur. Systematization reproduced the specific knowledge. In contrast, variants are presented in specific ways. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection activities were carried out using the listening method and recording techniques to transcribe the data obtained. The data analysis process is carried out using the discourse theory proposed by Michel Foucault, using the genealogical method. The study results indicate that in the process of producing halal commodification related to halal products, all discourses that move in the Wardah production area are opposed to everything outside of Wardah. Besides, the openness of the power system process shows that these relations do not always dominate each other but instead play a role in strengthening the power of the halal products produced by Wardah. The results showed that when halal advertisements produced by Wardah were distributed to consumers (the public), they experienced several responses. Some people support halal advertisements, people reject halal advertisements, and neutral society towards halal advertising. This community response becomes data that is processed, selected, and sorted for reconstruction, intending to strengthen further the existence of Wardah formed by halal advertising. The relationship between Wardah, which produces the halal advertisements with other subjects outside, is interpreted as a space for the process of power to take place.

Abstract

The use of the Osing language in this area is still quite strong, and the pronunciation could be more precise. Even so, the people of this village still apply politeness in language when interacting with each other. This study aimed to find out the forms and language politeness strategies used by the Osing community in Macan Putih Village. This research method uses a qualitative research method with three stages: the stage of providing data, the stage of data analysis, and the stage of providing the results of data analysis. The research data is in utterances by speech participants associated with a context. The study results show that most of the Osing people in Macan Putih Village are polite in speaking, although some still violate it. The form of politeness in the language of the Osing community is based on markers of politeness verbally through speech and nonverbally through accompanying body gestures, as well as the politeness scale. There are two strategies namely positive politeness strategies such as (1) paying attention, (2) exaggerating in giving comments or praise, (3) using markers as members of the same group, (4) using jokes, and (5) giving questions or asking for reasons. The second strategy is the negative politeness strategy, namely (1) using indirect speech, (2) being pessimistic, and (3) minimizing coercion/pressure.

Abstract

Superlative adjectives of Madura Kangean Dialect (MKD) are  repetitive adjectives that has R+D+(-an) structure or paleng. Superlative adjectives in MKD are used to describe different functions of utterances according to the contexts. The native people of Kangean island possess a distinctive dialect called Kangean dialect. This study explored the functions of superlative adjectives in MDK. Theories used to determine the functions of superlative adjectives in this research are descriptive and pragmatic theory. This study employed participatory observation method. The data were obtained from interviews with the dialect speakers by voice recording and field note -taking. In addition, the researchers also used reflective-introspective method. The collected data were then transcribed into written form of orthographic transcription. The method applied for analyzing the data are equivalent and distributional method. Meanwhile, the methods used for displaying the results of data analysis are informal and formal steps. The results of this study indicate that superlative adjectives of MKD have different functions, such as for giving motivation, praise, reprimand, satire, advice, orders, blemishes and accusations.
