Abstract

Abstract : This research is a research about the analysis of verb error kudasaimasu and itadakimasu by the class 2015 students of Japanese Language Education Study Program University of Riau academic year 2017/2018. The purpose of this research is to measure students understanding of the use of verb kudasaimasu and itadakimau. Then, to know the difficulty factor in understanding the use of these two verbs. This research used quantitative descriptive method by using survey as the research design. The data were obtained by using test and questionnaire by the respondents. This research was done as a quantitative research in the field of education. All data processed using statistic method and the result converted by descriptive method to describe the result. Based on the results of the test, it can be seen that the average value of the use of these verbs is 53,2 . The test results show that the highest score is 76 and the lowest score is 36. It’s mean that students still often make error to use it in conversation and answer questions. It is supported by the questionnaire result that students experience containts in using verb kudasaimasu and itadakimasu. According to the questionnaire results, the factors causing difficulties are some students still do less exercise and repetition of verb kudasaimasu and itadakimasu so that student’s memory of the use of this verb be decline.Keywords : verb errors,kudasaimasu, itadakimasu

Abstract

Abstract : The research discussed ellipsis and demonstrative pronouns on material test of reading comphereshion of Japanese Language Proficiency Test N3. This research is a qualitative descriptive research using Halliday and Hasan (1976) about Ellipsis and demonstrative pronoun as guidelines. In this source, ellipsis rarely appears, where the demonstrative pronouns appears more. Based on ten discourse of dokkai there are three categories of ellipsis namely ellipsis noun, verb ellipsis or form of word already mentioned, and ellipsis clause. In this study also obtained three types of demonstrative pronouns like pronominal demonstrative, adnominal adjective and adverb. From 35 data there are 5 demonstrative pronouns referring to katafora, whereas 30 data refer anaphorically.Key Words : demonstrative pronouns, dokkai, ellipsis, nihongo nouryoku shiken

Abstract

Abstrak: This study discusses about the Effectiveness of Cooperative Learning Method Type Jigsaw On Material Choukai III For Javanese Deparment Student FKIP UR. The purpose of this study is to know how the result of learning student in class before and after using in cooperative learning method type Jigsaw material of Choukai III, and how the student interaction in class before and after using in learning cooperative method type Jigsaw in Choukai material. The object of this study is the Javanese Deparment Student FKIP UR at grade II. In this study the writer used research design weak eksperimen is designed with pretest before doing the test and posttest after doing the test. Data accumulation technique have been done by giving the test and observing. The result test in this pretest and posttest used statistic test t- by using manual test for knowing some big level of result significance student learning when used learning Jigsaw type. Based on statistic data processing t-by manual test is got = 8 and = 2.1 (standart significance 5%) > so is unaccepted and accepted. It’s means that there is significance contrast to ward effectiveness of coorperatif learning method type Jigsaw on material Choukai III at student grade II in academic 2016/2017 Javanese FKIP Riau University.Key Words: Kooperatif Learning Method Type Jigsaw, Choukai III, Weak Eksperimen

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to find out kind of illocutionary speech acts in anime Spirited Away by Hayao Miyazaki. Besides that, it also aimed describe the purpose of this illocutionary speech acts. Theory that used were Searle theory to find out kind of illocutionary speech act and Leech theory the purpose of it. The method was descriptive as to describe the data using word or sentences. The data was collected from Japan’s anime Spirited Away. The result showed that there were 60 data of illocutionary speech acts and divided into 5 kinds, namely (1) requestives including 3 data for persuading, 4 data for requesting, and 5 data for asking (2) questions including 16 data for questioning (3) requirements including 19 data for ordering, 1 data for instruction, 2 data for directing, and 1 data for demanding (4) permissives including 1 data for letting go (5) advisories including 8 data for warning. There was also found (1) 34 data purposes of collaborative speech acts, (2) 21 data purpose of convivial speech acts, (3) 15 purpose of competitive. Key Words: speech acts, illocutionary, directive

Abstract

Abstract: This study discusses the translation of Indonesian’s passive voice in the Laskar Pelangi into Japanese on a Niji No Shounen Tachi novel. The purpose of this study was to determine the form of the passive voice translation into Niji No Shounen Tachi Japanese novel and how to shift and modulation in the passive voice translation using Catford theory and Newmark in Machali. The object of research is passive voice on Laskar Pelangi and Niji No Shounen Tachi novel. This research is a qualitative descriptive method. Results of the study found that passive voice translation is not always translated as passive voice in the target language. In this study found few differences in meaning in the Indonesia’s passive voice translation into Japanese so that shifting, but the message conveyed in Indonesian into Japanese translation.Keyword: Translation, Passive Sentences, Novel, Laskar Pelangi, Niji No Shounen Tachi

Abstract

Abstract: The reasearch is discussed about the use of the word aishiteru and suki as a expression of love in Japanese. This research aimed to determine the use of aishiteru and suki words contained in speech acts of expression love Japanese drama. The object of this research is the Japanese drama entitled Itazura Na Kiss(Love in Tokyo) and 5Ji Kara 9Ji Made. This research is a descriptives qualitative research method using pragmatic theory and aspects of speech by Leech. Data collection method was “simak” method, “sadap”, “simak bebas libat cakap”, record and taking note technic. Data were analyzed by using padan technique and Pragmatic pranic techniques. The result shows that 30 data containing the expression of love using aishiteru and suki words. From 30 data is taken 12 data as material of data analysis. The result of the research shows that there are different usage of aishiteru and suki. Suki more often and commonly used by Japanese people to express love because of its vague and does not force the opponent's will. While aishiteru is used to express a more serious love like marriage. Aishiteru and suki are used in the form of direct and indirect speech according to context.Keywords: Use, aishiteru, suki, pragmatik, speech acts

Abstract

Abstract: This research’s goal is to know the meaning of kaomoji in social media especially facebook. This research object are members of facebook group which uses kaomoji in post or comments whose data a sentence use of kaomoji. This research used descriptive and qualitative approach to analyze object based on theories used. The research datas taken by read post or comments facebook groupst. Author use politeness strategies theory by Charles Sander Peierce. This research result show the meaning of kaomoji at social media has the function confirmation and subtitute the verbal element in sentence. This research could be the basis for further studies involving more subjects to ensure the generalizability of the results.Keywords: kaomoji, semantic, social media

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to describe language style in lyrics from band sekai no owari in entertainment album. This thesis discusses about the language styles occurred in Tarigan’s thory (2009) and stylistic. The purpose of this research is to understand the style language and know the meaning of the song. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive and used style language theory and stylitics. In collecting data, this research used heed method with technique of free heed “libat cakap”and catat. The result of this research are 44 data style of language, containing simile, metaphor, personification, depersonification, allegory, antithesis, tautology, hyperbole, lythotes, oxymoron, clymax, metonymy, eufimisme, erothesis, paralelysme, asyndeton, polisintedon, alliteration, asonomansia dan anaphora.Keywords: Language Style, Stylitics, Lyrics, Sekai No Owari, Entertainment Album

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed at affecting social factor and situation factor toword the using of maji in Japanese conversation’s sentence. This research used qualitative approach and analyzed by William Labov’s social factor theory and Fishman’s situation factor theory. The subject in this research was the word maji used in Japanese conversation sentences from Japanese dramas called Koinaka and Summer Nude. Data collection’s method was “simak” method and used “simak bebas libat cakap” technic and taking note method. Data analyse’s method was “padan” method or “extralingual padan” method and used “hubung banding menyamakan” technic. The result shows that in social factor, the word maji often used by middle class people in every sector of works, and used by educated people or in process of education. The word maji used by people around adolescent to adult, when the listener around adolescent to elder. The word maji can be used by male or female. In situation factor, the word of maji often be used in informal conversation with various topics. Non-standard language variety often be used in conversation when using maji.Key Words: social factor, situation factor, wakamono kotoba, maji.

Abstract

Abstract:. Abstract: Wakare no aisatsu (goodbye) in use in the daily life by the people of Japan are used when the speaker wants to end a meeting of the partners. The purpose of this study was to identify the factors that influence social and cultural use of wakare no aisatsu such as age, gender, and superior subordinate relationship (jouge kankei). In addition to knowing the forms wakare no aisatsu commonly used by people in Japan. The research method used is descriptive and analytical study of literature. In analyzing the data, the writer uses a few theories are considered to support the issues raised in this paper as the use of wakare no aisatsu is seen from the viewpoint at the level of formality, superior subordinate relationship (jouge kankei) and gender. The results of this study indicate that the use of wakare no aisatsu highly influenced by the level of formality and relationship between the speaker and partners. While gender tended to be neutral and there is no influence in its use. In general, Japanese women will typically use more polite language than men, both of the partners said higher position or below. While in terms of social and cultural, wakare no aisatsu important role in keeping the values that exist in the social life of the Japanese people.Key Word: Wakare, Aisatsu, Social, Cultural
