Susanto, 2023. Analysis of Students' Critical Thinking Skills and Its Influencing Factors at Vocational High School 5 Makassar. Thesis. Technology and Vocational Education, Postgraduate Program. State University of Makassar. (supervised by Muhammad Ardi and Anas Arfandi). This type of study is quantitative research using a correlational approach which aims to examine the level of critical thinking skills, students’ achievement motivation, students’ family environment, teacher’s teaching methods, and students’ learning attitudes at SMKN 5 Makassar, examine the effect of students’ achievement motivation, students’ family environment, teacher’s teaching methods, and students' learning attitudes on the students’ critical thinking skills at SMKN 5 Makassar. The population of the study were all grade XI students of the Construction and Property Technology Expertise Program at SMKN 5 Makassar. The sampling technique employed random sampling. The results of the study reveal that the level of students' critical thinking skills is 50.85% which is in high category. The students’ achievement motivation is in high category with 50.85%, the family environment is in high category with 50.85%, the teacher’s teaching methods is in high category with 59.32%, and the students' learning attitudes are in high category with 54.24%. The students’ achievement motivation, family environment, teacher’s teaching methods, and students’ learning attitudes collectively influence Y by 72.2%. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesesuaian bidang keahlian yang diajarkan di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) dengan potensi unggulan daerah di Kabupaten Luwu Utara. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah pentingnya pendidikan kejuruan dalam mendukung pengembangan sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dunia kerja lokal dan regional. Metode yang digunakan adalah model evaluasi CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product), didukung oleh analisis potensi wilayah menggunakan pendekatan LQ, tipologi Klassen, dan kesesuaian lahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa potensi unggulan daerah di Kabupaten Luwu Utara meliputi sektor pertanian, kehutanan dan Perikanan. Namun, sebagian besar SMK di daerah tersebut belum sepenuhnya menyesuaikan bidang keahliannya dengan potensi unggulan tersebut. Kondisi ini menghambat pengembangan SDM lokal untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pasar kerja yang relevan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan sinkronisasi kurikulum SMK dengan potensi unggulan daerah serta peningkatan kolaborasi antara pemerintah, dunia usaha, dan industri. Langkah-langkah ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan relevansi pendidikan kejuruan, menekan angka pengangguran, dan mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal secara berkelanjutan

Abstract

The use of digital learning media in vocational schools is needed to improve the quality of learning in Basic Visual Communication Design (VCD) and to support students’ independent learning. This study aimed to develop an e-module for the Basic VCD subject at SMKN 4 Pinrang and to examine its validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, consisting of the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The research subjects included two content experts, two media experts, two instrument experts, a teacher, and Grade 10 students enrolled in the Basic VCD course. Data were collected using content validation sheets, media validation sheets, instrument validation sheets, and a student response questionnaire on the use of the e-module. The results indicated that the e-module was categorized as highly feasible, with validation scores of 100% from content experts and 90.00% from media experts. The practicality test yielded a score of 93.15% (very good), indicating that the e-module was easy to use in learning activities. The effectiveness test showed an N-Gain score of 0.77 (high), with an effectiveness interpretation of 77% (effective), demonstrating that the e-module improved students’ learning outcomes. Therefore, the developed Basic VCD e-module is valid, practical, and effective for use as a learning medium at SMKN 4 Pinrang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Lingkungan Belajar, Motivasi Belajar, Dan Self Efficacy Terhadap Keberhasilan Praktek Kerja Industri (Prakerin) Siswa Smk Negeri 4 Enrekang dengan metode korelasional. Jumlah populasi sebesar 112 dan sampel berjumlah 99 dilakukan berdasarkan pemilihan jumlah. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, kuesioner (angket), wawancara dan studi dokumen. Uji prasyarat menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji linearitas. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan (1) Lingkungan belajar di SMK Negeri 4 Enrekang berada pada kategori Cukup Tinggi; (2) Motivasi Belajar siswa di SMK Negeri 4 Enrekang berada pada kategori Tinggi; (3) Self Efficacy siswa di SMK Negeri 4 Enrekang berada pada kategori Tinggi; (4) Keberhasilan Prakerin siswa SMK Negeri 4 Enrekang berada pada kategori Tinggi. Uji hipotess menggunakan uji regresi linear sederhana dan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Ada Pengaruh Signifikan Lingkungan Belajar terhadap Keberhasilan Prakerin Siswa SMK Negeri 4 Enrekang 4,7%; (2) Ada Pengaruh Positif dan Signifikan Motivasi Belajar terhadap Keberhasilan Prakerin Siswa SMK Negeri 4 Enrekang terbukti, dengan kontribusi sebesar 46,6%; (3) Ada Pengaruh Positif dan Signifikan Self Efficacy Terhadap Keberhasilan Prakerin Siswa SMK Negeri 4 Enrekang terbukti, dengan kontribusi sebesar 46,5%; (4) Pengaruh variabel Lingkungan Belajar, Motivasi Belajar dan Self Efficacy adalah sebesar 69,7% sedangkan 30,3% dipengaruhi oleh variabel independent yang lain. Sehingga hipotesis penelitian ini diterima.
