Abstract

Augmented Reality is a system that supports the real world with virtual (computer-generated) objects that appear together in the same space/place as the real world. One of the uses of Augmented Reality is as a promotional medium. The application of Augmented Reality (AR) in promotional media aims to increase the interest of consumers who are not satisfied with conventional promotional media. With conventional media, the attractiveness of an item is still not maximized. Based on the results of the research and the application made, it can be concluded that the "AR Laptop Catalog" application can help increase consumer interest by knowing the real form of the product and can help determine the desired laptop. The "AR Laptop Catalog" application was created with the aim of introducing Augmented Reality as a new promotional media, with the existence of AR-based promotional media it is hoped that it can be a reference for the development of further promotional media

Abstract

The advancement of Extended Reality (XR) technology, which includes Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Mixed Reality (MR), has created fresh possibilities in multiple areas, such as interior design. This research seeks to create TidyRoom XR, a 3D game for bedroom interior design utilizing XR on the Oculus Quest 2, allowing users to engage directly inside a virtual space. The development process utilizes the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) approach, which includes six phases: concept, design, resource gathering, production, evaluation, and distribution. The main goal of this application is to offer a helpful tool for interior designers and general users to visualize and organize bedroom layouts efficiently and precisely. Moreover, the application aims to provide a very engaging experience for creating bedrooms in a virtual setting. The test results reflected favorable results, indicating that the system functioned as intended, featuring an intuitive interface and responsive interactions. The game includes functions for object manipulation like Add, Move, Rotate, Drag, Drop, and Delete, and has two kinds of bedrooms furnished with typical items such as beds, tables, chairs, wardrobes, and drawers. These outcomes indicate that TidyRoom XR can function both as an effective platform for investigating interior design and as an interactive educational resource.

Abstract

Fluctuating market demand and limited inventory are challenges in determining the optimal amount of production, especially for small businesses such as meatball snack production. This study aims to determine the addition of meatball production using the Mamdani fuzzy logic method. This system uses three input variables: income, inventory, and sales demand, and one output in the form of the recommended amount of production. Each variable is modeled with a triangular membership function. The case study shows that with an income of Rp650,000, an inventory of 600 pieces, and a demand of 1,500 pieces, the fuzzy system recommends an additional production of 500 pieces. These results prove that the Mamdani fuzzy method is effective in helping production decision making amidst subjective or vague data uncertainty.
