Abstract

The aim of this research is to investigate the determination of scholarships at SMK Nasional Mojosari and to facilitate teachers in providing scholarships to deserving and high-achieving students, while also testing the quality of the system. The author uses the Waterfall method to build the system, which is a systematic and sequential approach that begins with analyzing, designing, coding, and testing the system. To analyze the system, several stages of data collection, problem formulation, user requirements, and concept analysis are required. The application design stage uses the CRISP_DM data mining model, and the testing stage uses the PIECES method. The accuracy of the Decision Tree classification for scholarships was determined using a confusion matrix, and the testing results showed an accuracy rate of 72.77% using RapidMiner. From these results, it can be concluded that the Decision Support System developed and tested is effective for processing and calculating data. Highlights: 1. The current process of determining scholarship recipients at SMK Nasional Mojosari is manual and time-consuming, which highlights the need for a more efficient and accurate system. 2. The author uses the Waterfall method, a systematic and sequential approach, to build a Decision Support System that facilitates the process of providing scholarships to deserving and high-achieving students while also testing the quality of the system. 3. The testing results showed an accuracy rate of 72.77% using RapidMiner, indicating that the Decision Support System is effective for processing and calculating data, and can help teachers make informed decisions about scholarship recipients.

Abstract

This research focuses on developing an information system to address the issue of long queues and patient discomfort in health services at hospitals or clinics. The study utilizes the waterfall method, applying sequential and systematic stages in software development. The result is an online queue information system accessed through a website, enabling patients to register online and view real-time doctor appointments from the comfort of their homes. The system aims to reduce waiting times and improve patient satisfaction in obtaining healthcare services. Highlights: Development of a website-based online queue information system to address queueing issues in health services. Utilization of the waterfall method in the sequential and systematic software development process. The system's positive impact on reducing waiting times and improving patient satisfaction in accessing healthcare services.

Abstract

General Background: Mathematics learning in early grades often faces low student interest, requiring innovative media. Specific Background: Game-based learning is widely used to increase engagement, yet platformer-based mathematics games for young learners remain limited. Knowledge Gap: Existing studies rarely integrate structured level progression and question-based scoring within elementary-level math games. Aim: This study aims to develop a 2D platformer game, “Math With Elysia,” using Unity to support basic mathematical understanding. Results: The game was developed using the Multimedia Development Life Cycle, equipped with level-based challenges, scoring systems, and interactive question checkpoints. Blackbox testing showed all features function properly, and questionnaire data from 20 students indicated positive responses, with an overall satisfaction rate of 87 percent. Novelty: The game integrates platformer mechanics with structured math tasks aligned with early-grade needs. Implications: The product can serve as an alternative digital learning medium that supports engagement and foundational numeracy skills for elementary learners. Abstract

Alat musik tradisional saat ini masih menggunakan manual kurang efektif dalam bidang pembelajaran yaitu masih berupa gambar, poster dan buku masih terbentuk gambaran 2D, maka adanya aplikasi Augmented Reality bisa mengenal lebih jelas tampilan gambarnya berupa 3D dan juga bisa belajar untuk mengenal lebih aplikasi Augmented Reality. Aplikasi augmented reality yang dibangun nantinya akan diaplikasikan dan dijalankan pada platform mobile android, dimana pada cara kerjanya aplikasi ini akan menggunakan kamera smartphone android sebagai inputan untuk melacak dan membaca marker yang telah dibuat pada media seperti buku atau majalah dengan menggunakan sistem tracking. Aplikasi dibangun untuk perangkat mobile bersistem operasi Android dan menggunakan metode Finile State Machine dalam pengembangannya. Metode pembelajaran dengan teknologi Augmented Reality ini meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang alat musik tradisional, Hal ini dibuktikan dengan perbandingan hasil penelitian antara tingkat pengetahuan menggunakan metode pembelajaran 2D dengan tingkat pengetahuan menggunakan metode pembelajaran 3D.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 mampu menimbulkan dampak yang cukup luas dan mempengaruhi berbagai aspek kehidupan masyarakat. Sebagai upaya penghentian laju penyebaran virus, pemerintah menerapkan pembatasan kontak sosial. Hal ini dapat menimbulkan rasa bosan dan stress. Game dapat menjadi sarana dalam mencari kesenangan atau coping stress. Selain mencari kesenangan, game juga dapat dijadikan sarana edukasi tentang Covid-19. Oleh karena itu, diciptakan sebuah game 2D berbasis android berjudul “Goodbye Covid” yang dapat dimainkan oleh semua usia. Hal ini diharapkan dapat membantu masyarakat dalam mengatasi stress dan juga mengedukasi masyarakat awam mengenai bahaya virus Covid-19.

Abstract

Since good practices in childhood will influence adult habits, dental health education should start early. Until recently, the only way to get information about dental health care and good and bad food choices for teeth was through lectures and pamphlets. The traditional approach is considered boring, unnecessarily visualized, and not difficult enough for children to understand. Dr. Rizza Dwi Prasetya from K24 Dental Care Lamongan says that one of the most important things to maintain good dental growth and health is to instill the value of dental care in children from an early age. One way to do this is by creating a 3D adventure game for Android smartphones that teaches about oral health. The Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) approach, which consists of six stages-ideation, design, material collection, assembly, testing, and distribution-was used in making this application. With an indicator of 81% "Very Good", this 3D adventure game about dental health has gone through user acceptability testing and black box testing. This means that this application is suitable for use as an educational tool for children to help them care for and maintain oral health.

Abstract

PG-TK AISYIYAH is a school with limited information system facilities, so an information system was created that refers to the method of recording attendance using a website with the aim of facilitating a more efficient and practical process when taking attendance. The purpose of this study is to design an attendance system that is applied to the website and automatically the attendance data will be listed, containing the name, time, minutes. In addition, an analysis was carried out at the school and data collection was carried out on teacher personal data. The research method used is through the stages of data analysis, design of the attendance system, implementation of the attendance system, testing and maintenance. At the testing stage using blackbox testing. The results of the study are that the attendance system shows that the application runs smoothly without errors. The admin confirms the attendance data and minutes provided by the teacher. All related entities in the application, with data from the teacher directly entering the admin system for confirmation.

Abstract

Drugs are a serious threat to public health, especially the younger generation. Drug education has been carried out by the national narcotics agency but the reduction is not optimal, so a technology known as Augmented Reality (AR) is needed. The aim of research on educational applications on types of drugs for the young generation based on Augmented Reality is to make it easier for the young generation to understand about drugs and make users more interactive and interesting. This research was developed using the Multimedia Development Life Cycle research method. This method has six stages starting from the concept to the distribution results of the applications that have been created. From the research stages that have been carried out, the results of the Augmented Reality Education application on the types and side effects of drugs were obtained. This application still has limitations on Samsung Android devices. It doesn't support the Easy AR plugin. This application was created using the Markless Bassed Tracking method and uses black box testing with a very good category. This application can be used for education for the younger generation and the wider community.

Abstract

This study aims to design a maekerless Augmented Reality based application as a interactive learning media for the introduction of the five human senses for elementary school students. This application uses the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method because it is in accordance with the manufacturing stage. Features in This application displays 3D visualization of the organs of the five senses that can be manipulated by the user, complete with additional information in the form of text and audio. Feasibility testing conducted on elementary school students and teacher showed that the app had an excellent succes rate, with an average score of 98,1% based on a Likert Scale. This result shows that the application succesfully increasses student interest and effectively improves students understanding of the aterial of the five senses.

Abstract

This study aims to classify attenuation quality in fiber optic networks using the K-Means algorithm. The classification model is designed to group data based on the characteristics of network parameters collected from field measurements. This research also compares the performance of models built with all features and those using selected features. The evaluation uses two main metrics, Sum of Squared Errors (SSE) and Silhouette Coefficient, to assess the quality of the clustering results. Testing shows that the use of selected features produces better clusters, with an SSE of 91.75 and a Silhouette Coefficient of 0.5923, compared to using all features, which results in an SSE of 101.98 and a Silhouette Coefficient of 0.4977. These results indicate that selecting the right features can positively impact cluster quality, although it is not the sole determining factor. Overall, K-Means has been proven effective in grouping attenuation quality, making it useful for supporting efficient fiber optic network maintenance and monitoring.
