Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh keseimbangan kehidupan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan budaya organisasi sebagai variabel intervening pada Biro Administrasi Pimpinan Provinsi Jambi. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode survei melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 92 responden yang merupakan pegawai aktif di lingkungan Biro Administrasi Pimpinan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keseimbangan kehidupan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap budaya organisasi dan kinerja pegawai. Budaya organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Lebih lanjut, budaya organisasi secara signifikan memediasi hubungan antara keseimbangan dan kinerja pegawai. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin baik keseimbangan antara pekerjaan dan kehidupan pribadi pegawai, serta semakin baik budaya organisasi yang diterapkan, maka semakin tinggi pula tingkat kinerja yang dihasilkan.

Abstract

People's Business Credit (KUR) is one of the government programs that aims to support the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector in Indonesia. This program offers access to capital at low interest rates for MSMEs that require assistance in developing their businesses. This study examines the procedures and requirements for submitting KUR at PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) KCP Batanghari, as well as an evaluation of its implementation and impact on the development of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). The primary focus of this study is to identify factors that influence the eligibility of MSMEs to receive KUR, as well as how this program supports the growth of the small business sector in Indonesia. The study's results show that, although the KUR program has made a significant contribution to supporting the development of MSMEs, challenges remain in its implementation. Several factors, including a complicated application process, a lack of understanding of the requirements, and limited information about the program, are the main obstacles. However, the success of payment restructuring and training for KUR recipients has shown a positive impact on the ability of MSMEs to develop. Therefore, evaluation and improvement of procedures, as well as further counseling, are needed for MSME actors to optimize the benefits of KUR for the MSME sector.

Abstract

This service aims to increase the capacity of the village government in implementing smart governance with OpenSID while empowering the community as service users. This service employed the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. The stages of activities carried out to achieve the goal were socialization of the urgency of SID in realizing Smart Village Governance. The activity was continued with training on the importance of SID for the Muaro Singoan Village Government. The team also provided assistance and training to the Village Government in managing the Village Information System through SID. Finally, socialization was carried out to the Muaro Singoan Village community regarding the understanding of the use of SID in serving the community. The service employed evaluation of attitude, knowledge, mentality, skills, partnership and follow-up that are conducted two weeks after the activity took place. This service resulted in changes in the knowledge, attitudes, mentality and skills of village communities and officials in organizing village governance with digital SID.

Abstract

This study examines the direct effects of core self-evaluation (CSE) and emotional intelligence (EI) on workplace conflict while exploring the mediating role of perceived workplace diversity. Grounded in organizational psychology and contextualized within a regional Indonesian university, the research adopts a quantitative design, utilizing structured questionnaires administered to 94 academic staff members at Universitas Jambi. The findings indicate that neither CSE nor EI has a statistically significant direct effect on workplace conflict. However, EI is positively associated with diversity perception, which in turn significantly increases relational, task, and process conflict—demonstrating a mediated effect. In contrast, diversity does not mediate the relationship between CSE and conflict. These results reveal the complex interplay between individual psychological resources and organizational diversity in shaping interpersonal dynamics within higher education. The study highlights the importance of context-sensitive institutional strategies, including the integration of emotional intelligence training and inclusive workplace policies, in effectively managing diversity and mitigating conflict. It contributes to the broader discourse on academic workplace behavior by highlighting how personal dispositions and structural diversity jointly influence conflict outcomes, particularly within regional universities engaged in local development.

Abstract

Kesiapan SDM dalam memenuhi dan menjalankan tuntutan pekerjaan harus diantisipasi oleh para pelaku usaha. Pelaku usaha akan mencapai optimal apabila pelaku usaha tersebut mampu melihat kompetensi karyawan sesuai dengan keahliannya. Kompetensi karyawan dalam menghadapi era digital ini sangat dibutuhkan dalam penerapan aplikasinya, agar setiap tujuan para pelaku usaha dapat tercapai. Salah satu pelaku usaha yang ada di Kota Jambi yang telah mendaftarkan usahanya pada aplikasi online tersebut, yaitu Enak Sehat Jambi. Mengenai hal tersebut yang menjadi permasalahan pada mitra kali ini, yaitu kurangnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan para karyawan dalam mengaplikasikan aplikasi online yang telah mereka gunakan. Sehingga kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dan strategi pengembangan SDM dalam menggunakan aplikasi online. Hasil kegiatan PPM ini, yaitu meningkatnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan seluruh karyawan Enak Sehat Jambi terkait aplikasi-aplikasi online, karyawan dapat mengetahui rating dan review dari para pelanggannya terhadap pelayanan yang mereka berikan dengan cara membuka secara langsung aplikasi online tersebut, serta karyawan juga dapat melakukan problem solving ketika terjadinya masalah terkait penggunaan aplikasi-aplikasi online tersebut.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of communication and teamwork on job satisfaction which has an impact on employee performance at PT Agro Boga Utama in Bandung. The method used is explanatory research with a sample of 95 respondents. The analysis technique uses statistical analysis with regression testing, determination and hypothesis testing. The results of this research: Communication has a significant effect on job satisfaction of 35.3%, the hypothesis test obtained a significance of 0.000 <0.05. Teamwork has a significant effect on job satisfaction of 41.9%, the hypothesis test obtained a significance of 0.000 <0.05. Communication and teamwork simultaneously have a significant effect on job satisfaction of 49.7%, hypothesis testing obtained a significance of 0.000 < 0.05. Job satisfaction had a significant effect on employee performance of 30.3%, hypothesis testing obtained a significance of 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

Ketua RT sebagai ujung tombak pemerintahan di tingkat lingkungan memiliki peran penting dalam menjembatani kebutuhan masyarakat dengan pemerintah kelurahan. Di Kelurahan Olak Kemang, Kota Jambi, banyak ketua RT menghadapi keterbatasan dalam aspek kepemimpinan dan administrasi, sehingga memengaruhi efektivitas pelayanan kepada warga. Untuk itu, diperlukan upaya pengembangan kapasitas aparatur lokal melalui pelatihan yang relevan dan aplikatif. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi ketua RT dalam bidang kepemimpinan dan administrasi RT, serta memperkuat peran RT dalam memberikan pelayanan publik yang lebih baik. Pelatihan akan mencakup materi tentang peran dan fungsi ketua RT, teknik memimpin musyawarah, administrasi dasar RT, pengelolaan data warga, hingga strategi membangun partisipasi aktif masyarakat.Adapun hasil yang telah dicapai dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian ini, yaitu: Peningkatan kapasitas kepemimpinan aparatur RT, khususnya dalam aspek memimpin musyawarah, menyelesaikan konflik, dan menggerakkan partisipasi warga secara konstruktif; Peningkatan pemahaman terhadap sistem administrasi kelembagaan, meliputi pencatatan data warga, penyusunan laporan kegiatan, dan pengarsipan dokumen sesuai standar kelurahan; Terwujudnya inovasi sederhana dalam bentuk materi dan template administrasi RT, yang dapat diterapkan langsung oleh aparatur di lingkungan masing-masing; Terciptanya kesadaran baru di kalangan aparatur RT tentang pentingnya tata kelola yang transparan, akuntabel, dan berorientasi pada pelayanan masyarakat.

Abstract

The smart city initiative in Jambi City exemplifies the opportunities and challenges of digital transformation in local governance. This study develops a framework for smart governance transformation in Jambi City, focusing on two critical components: the dynamic managerial capabilities of municipal staff and aligning digital application architecture with Smart Governance (SG) principles. Using a mixed-methods approach, we quantitatively assessed the influence of managerial capabilities and technology adoption factors on smart governance outcomes. We employed the Technology Adoption Model (TAM) and the Technology–Organization–Environment (TOE) framework to guide this assessment. We then qualitatively validated the results through interviews, focus group discussions, and document analysis. The study found that dynamic managerial capabilities have a stronger impact on smart governance outcomes than technology factors alone. Stakeholders who embraced innovation and integrated digital tools achieved better service quality, efficiency, and citizen participation (â H” 0.5, p < 0.01). This was compared to the moderate effect of application usability and alignment (â H” 0.3, p < 0.05). Although user-friendly “Quick Win” apps improved services, their potential was limited by low organizational readiness and poor integration. Qualitative evidence confirmed that leadership support and staff empowerment were crucial to success. These findings demonstrate the importance of pairing technology with human capacity and collaborative governance. The study proposes a design framework that combines capacity building with application architecture refinements to institutionalize smart governance principles.

Abstract

Firm value has shifted from a shareholder-centered view to a broader stakeholder perspective. Investors consider ESG factors alongside financial performance, which remains essential in reflecting a company’s profitability and debt management capacity. This study aims to analyze the effect of environmental, social, and governance on firm value mediated by financial performance. This quantitative study examined companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2022–2024. The sample was determined using purposive sampling based on specific criteria. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS software. The results of the study indicate that environmental, social, and governance have a significant influence on financial performance. ESG has a significant impact on firm value, indicating that companies with higher levels of ESG coverage tend to have higher firm value. Financial performance significantly influences firm value, indicating that the market values companies that demonstrate stable financial performance. Financial performance partially mediates the relationship between environmental, social, and governance and firm value. These findings imply that companies should integrate ESG practices into their strategic and financial policies to enhance performance and increase firm value in the long term.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the Integrated Dynamic Archival Information Sistem (SRIKANDI) application in digital archive management at the Public Works and Public Housing Agency (PUPR) of Jambi Province. This study applies a qualitative approach using descriptive methods. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of informants directly involved in archive management and the use of the SRIKANDI application. The analysis of policy implementation in this study is based on Edward III's theory, which covers the dimensions of communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. The findings of the study show that the implementation of the SRIKANDI application in the Road Construction Division has been carried out, but it has not been running optimally. The use of the application is still mostly focused on correspondence activities, while the comprehensive archive management function has not been optimally implemented. Factors supporting implementation include the existence of clear regulations, leadership commitment, and the availability of socialization and training activities. Meanwhile, the obstacles found include limitations in internet network quality, application stability, and differences in the level of human resource capabilities and adaptation to digital sistems. This study concludes that the successful implementation of SRIKANDI is not only influenced by the availability of technology, but also by the readiness of organizations and human resources in supporting the transformation of digital archive management. In addition, this study also provides several strategic recommendations to improve the effectiveness of implementation.
