Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the effectiveness of Hybrid Guided Inquiry on HOTS and students' communication skills in Circular Motion material. The method used in this research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental. 10th-grade students of MIPA in SMA Negeri 1 Malang were used as the observed population; the samples taken were students 10 MIPA 2 and 10 MIPA 4. The MANOVA test is a technique used to test hypotheses and then analyze the effectiveness of H-GI in optimizing HOTS and students' communication skills. Analysis of the results of this study found that the HOTS score for the experimental class was 78.4 while for the control class was 71.1. Meanwhile, the communication skills results between the experimental class and the control class were 78 for the experimental class and 72 for the control class. Thus, H-GI is effective in optimizing HOTS and communication skills of students compared to direct learning, which uses PBL. The research results could be the basis for making learning more effective in physics material, especially the Circular Motion concepts.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate and explore students' understanding of the concept of Kinematics, particularly in the concepts of acceleration, velocity, distance and displacement. This research used a mixed-method approach with an embedded experimental design. The research was conducted by involving 21 students consisting of 7 men and 14 women. This research used reasoned multiple-choice questions and short interviews to determine the students' initial and final understanding. The results showed that, before the intervention was carried out, as much as 42.86% of students did not understand the concept of distance and displacement correctly, as much as 26.99% of students did not understand the concepts of instantaneous velocity and average speed, as much as 45.6% did not understand the concepts of position, velocity and acceleration and as much as 87.31% did not understand about the direction of velocity and acceleration. In addition, the results showed that the application of JITT with assessment for learning could significantly improve students' understanding of concepts, with N-gain = 0.56 and effect size = 2.38. This study explains the difficulties and general understanding of students on the concepts of distance and displacement, and the direction of object acceleration. In addition, the integration of assessment for learning to JITT is an option in the learning process to improve understanding of Kinematics concepts.

Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze the students 'initial and final understanding after the application of JITT with 3D animation, to identify students' responses and arguments, and to determine the impact of using JITT with 3D animation. This research involved 43 students of the 6th semester of the 2019-2020 academic year of the Physics Education study program of the Universitas PGRI Kanjuruhan Malang who took solid state physics course. Students' initial and final understanding was analyzed through responses and arguments presented during the pretest, while the impact of JITT application with 3D animation was analyzed based on the results of the pretest and posttest as well as student responses during the learning process expressed through short interviews and discussions. The qualitative and quantitative data generated from the mixed-method approach were analyzed simultaneously. The results show that the students understand that the atomic radius for all the different crystal lattices is the same, namely a/2. This was awakened by an early understanding of the general definition of the radius. However, after following the JITT stages with 3D animation, their understanding changed that the atomic radius of each crystal lattice is different in length. In addition, the results of statistical analysis showed that there was a very significant increase in the students' mastery of concepts from an average of 26.9 to 96.7. Meanwhile, the N-gain value is very high, namely 0.96 in the very effective category, which illustrates that JITT with 3D animation has had a high impact on students' understanding of atomic radius in the concept of crystal geometry.

Abstract

Secara umum tujuan dari program kemitraan masyarakat adalah untuk meningkatkan kapasitas dalam pengetahuan, keterampilan dan ekonomi peternak lele tradisional yang merupakan solusi terhadap permasalahan yang dihadapi, antara lain: pengetahuan dan ketrampilan masih rendah dalam budidaya lele dan pengolahannya, Proses budidaya masih dilakukan secara tradisional yang berbasiskan plankton yang membutuhkan air melimpah dan lahan yang luas, hasil lele saat panen sedikit karena kematian ikan masih tinggi. Peningkatan kapasitas dilakukan dengan melakukan alih pengetahuan sistem budidaya lele sistem akuaponik dan pengolahan hasilnya. Dalam program kemitraan masyarakat ini dilakukan alih pengetahuan dan teknologi budidaya lele sistem akuaponik melalui demonstrasi dan plotting, pendampingan serta pemberdayaan kelompok mitra. Membantu menyediakan alat dan bahan dalam pelaksanaan budidaya serta melaksanakan pelatihan untuk diversifikasikasi produk. Dari kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan, peternak lele tradisional mengalami peningkatan pemahaman dan pendapatan serta mampu mengolah lele menjadi produk yang lebih memiliki nilai jual lebih tinggi antara lain abon, nugget dan bakso.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan implementasi kurikulum Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka yang telah dikembangkan berdasar kebijakan Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka, dan efeknya terhadapketerampilan abad 21 mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menerapkan rancangan penelitian mixed method, yang melibatkan seluruh mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika Universitas PGRI Kanjuruhan Malang. Datakuantitatif dikumpulkan dari data pengisian angket sedangkan data kualitatif diperoleh dari hasil deep interview yang dilakukan selama pelaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran di luar kampus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi kurikulum Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka telah mampu meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi siswa, kreativitas siswa, berpikir kritis, dan peningkatan keterampilan kolaborasi siswa. Dari tiga bentuk kegiatan pembelajaran di luar kampus yang telah diterapkan, Kuliah Kerja Nyata Tematik merupakan bentuk kegiatan pembelajaran di luar kampus palingefektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi dan kolaborasi. Bentuk kegiatan pembelajaran di luar kampus lainnya yaitu Asistensi Mengajar dan Kampus Mengajar efektif meningkatkan kreativitas dan berpikir kritis. Peningkatan keterampilan abad 21, dapat dilakukan dengan mengikutsertakan mahasiswa pada dua bentuk kegiatan pembelajaran di luar kampus dengan karakteristik lingkungan belajar berbeda.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains dan prestasi belajar IPA siswa kelas VIII SMP PGRI 6 Malang melalui model pembelajaran Discovery Learning. Peneliti memakai metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dan dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Merujuk pada hasil analisis penelitian, keterlaksanaan/pembelajaran siklus/I adalah 75% dan memiliki kualifikasi baik sedangkan siklus II adalah 84,89% berkualifikasi baik. Dari persentase keterampilan proses sains siswa siklus I adalah 73% berkualifikasi cukup baik dan siklus II adalah 83% berkualifikasi baik. Model pembelajaran Discovery Learning mampu mendongkrak prestasi belajar IPA terlihat pada perbandingan rata-rata prestasi belajar pra siklus sebesar 66,89% dengan kualifikasi cukup baik, mengalami peningkatan disiklus I menjadi 70,81% yang berkualifikasi cukup baik, pada siklus II senilai 73,11% yang berkualifikasi cukup baik. Pada ketuntasan belajar, prestasi belajar pra siklus adalah 48,65% memiliki kualifikasi kurang baik, siklus I adalah 62,16% berkualifikasi cukup baik sedangkan siklus II meningkat menjadi 81,08% yang berkualifikasi baik. Merujuk pada hasil penelitian ini, maka bisa disimpulkan bahwa penelitian Model pembelajaran Discovery Learninag mampuh meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains dan presrasi belajar IPA siswa SMP PGRI 6 Malang

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas produksi kripik umbi singkong dan umbi talas melalui alih tekhnologi dan pelatihan management produksi hingga pemasaran. Metode yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut adalah dengan menggunakan demostrasi, ploting dan evaluasi ketercapain Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) kepada mitra yaitu kelompok industri rumah tangga. Hasil dari pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa alih tekhnologi berupa penggunaan perajang otomatis mampu menghemat tenaga, waktu dan selisih umbi rajang yang dihasilkan yaitu 35 kg/jam. Penggunaan spinner peniris minyak mampu meniriskan tiga kali lipat dibanding menggunakan peniris tradisional. Secara umum dapat disimpulkan bahwa program pengabdian ini mampu meningkatkan kuantitas dan kualitas produksi keripik, sehingga omset mitra pengabdian dapat meningkat.

Abstract

This research focuses on developing and analyzing the qualifications, effectiveness, and reactions of e-module users on optical devices to improve critical thinking skills. The advantage of this e-module is that it contains material descriptions, videos, webtoons, and evaluation questions that can be accessed online. The research method uses research and development of the ADDIE model, with five stages: investigating student needs, designing learning media using pixton.com, canva.com, and the Flip PDF Professional application, and developing e-modules that are validated by media expert validators and material, amounting to two people. , product implementation to users, and evaluation of e-modules by teachers and students. Indicators of critical thinking skills tested include interpreting, analyzing, evaluating, and inferring skills. The feasibility of the e-module turned out to be valid by experts in the media and material obtained from the validation questionnaire. The results of the effectiveness of the e-module in improving critical thinking skills showed that the effectiveness was tested on 26 class X SMK students and user responses, namely teachers and students, were very positive.

Abstract

This community service program aims to provide knowledge and prepare people with disabilities to have cognitive and social provisions and independence. The implementation method of this service program is by transferring technology and knowledge, through workshops, mentoring, monitoring and socializing books and demonstrating science experimental therapy. Monitoring and evaluation will also be carried out to find out the feedback and achievements of this activity. The method of this program is to use science experiment-based therapy with the concept of my environment is my experimental space.  The results of this program have proven to have an impact on improving the social and motor skills of partners. With experimentation, there will be social communication between the companion and the disability of ECE (Early Childhood Education)) crew so that the transfer of strengthening their social abilities and character can also be well established. Science experiments can be an easy, practical, precise and fun solution for them.

Abstract

Penyelesaian masalah gelombang bunyi dan cahaya memerlukan kemampuan yang harus dilatih dengan kontinyu. Pemecahan masalah merupakan salah satu keterampilan yang penting di abad ke-21. Upaya dalam meingkatkan kemampuan tersut yaitu melalui pembelajaran. Pembelajaran yang efektif dilaksanakan berdasarkan kebutuhan belajar. Upaya memenuhi kebutuhan belajar dengan karakteristik peserta didik yang berbeda beda yaitu dengan cara pembelajaran yang sesuai atau TeaRL. Salah satu penerapan TaRL yaitu dengan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Paper ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada siswa SMA terkait materi gelombang bunyi dan cahaya. Indikator keterampilan pemecahan masalah yang dikembangkan oleh Doctor dan Heller yaitu visualisasi/deskripsi masalah, pendekatan fisika, prosedur matematika, dan kesimpulan logis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif dengan desain plan, do dan see. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 36 peserta didik. Implementasi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi memberi dampak perubahan kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik dengan kategori tinggi. Pada penelitian selanjutnya sebaiknya pembelajaran berdiferensiasi diterapkan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Dengan adanya motivasi belajar, kemampuan apapun akan mudah dilatihkan.
