Abstract

This study discusses the success of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises in Medan City. The purpose of this research focuses on the process of innovation that mediates the success of SMEs. The success of SMEs is tested by involving Entrepreneurial Competency Factors and Environment-mediated Business Innovation. This study took the population of MSME actors in Medan City with a sample of 100 respondents. The data obtained were analyzed by means of quantitative data analysis using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method. The research results showed that Innovation mediates the effect of Entrepreneurial Competence on the success of MSMEs in Medan City, and Innovation mediates the Effects of the Business Environment on the success of MSMEs.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to measure the performance of  companies in the city of Medan and its surroundings with the implementation of the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) in order to increase competition through the intervening variable of the work climate that distinguishes each company. The research design is policy research using quantitative analysis techniques using the Lisrel application SEM, with a sample of 100. The calculation results of SEM analysis the work climate variable has an influence on company performance of 80.16%, while other variables that are not examined but also affect the lecturer's research performance are indicated by a value of 20%. The results showed that the measurement of company performance with BSC through its four perspectives, namely the Financial Perspective, Customers, Internal Business and Learning and Growth as well as through the intervening variable Organizational Climate, the results of which have a direct or indirect effect on the Company's performance.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan makna spesifik dan konotatif yang terkandung dalam iklan penyedia internet. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pertama, peneliti mengumpulkan data. Kedua, teknik membaca. Ketiga, teknik mencatat. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah klarifikasi data, reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan, atau verifikasi. Data dari penelitian ini digunakan berupa tulisan dan gambar adegan yang ada di iklan penyedia jasa internet.. Sumber data dari penelitian ini adalah iklan provider internet, seperti iklan axis, xl, im3 ooredoo, indosat ooredoo, telkomsel, dan smartfreen. Hasil penelitian pada iklan provider internet xl terdapat makna konotasi yaitu xtra, turbo, flex, paling, fiber. Sedangkan, makna denotasi yaitu bebas, bonus, anti, lancar. Pada iklan provider internet axis makna konotasi yaitu irit, puedes, rawit, gaul dan better. Sedangkan, makna denotasi yaitu internetan, kebelet, awet, lancar. Pada iklan provider internet im3 ooredooo makna konotasi yaitu bonus, gold. Sedangkan makna denotasi yaitu langganan, bonus.

Abstract

Health issues are one of the important things to consider for the survival of each individual. The world is now faced with the emergence of a new virus that spreads rapidly and greatly disrupts the continuity of life globally. At the end of 2019, a new virus was found in China, precisely in Wuhan Province. In 2020, WHO declared Covid-19 (Coronavirus Deseases 2019) as a pandemic so that new regulations were created to prevent the spread of this virus because it is transmitted from human to human. The incidence of Covid-19 continues to increase. It is necessary to increase 5M preparedness to break the transmission of Covid-19. Several studies have revealed that health education with audiovisual educational media is effective in improving community preparedness during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Literasi Keuangan seiring dengan penggunaan Fintech akan memperkuat bisnis IMK di masa adaptasi baru. Selain itu, literasi keuangan juga dibutuhkan IMK untuk mengelola sumber keuangan mereka dengan arif. Keberadaan  Industri  Mikro dan Kecil  ini  memberikan  dampak  yang  positif  dalam pencapaian  pembangunan  utama  seperti  penurunan  angka  kemiskinan,  penurunanangka pengangguran,  peningkatan  Indeks  Pembangunan  Manusia  (IPM)  dan  memperkecil  angka disparitas  wilayah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian studi literature dan pendekatan deskriftif kualitatif yaitu konten analisis paper dari database google scholar dan wawancara menggunakan teknik Focus Group Discussion. Paper yang dipilih dalam review ini berasal dari pencarian pada database google scholar dengan kata kunci Penerapan Financial Technology dan Peningkatan Literasi Keuangan Bagi Industri Mikro Kecil (IMK) kurun waktu 2018 s.d. 2022.

Abstract

Social media provides wide and easy access to various brands, products, and user reviews. Generation Z can easily search for information about the products they are interested in, read reviews, and see recommendations from other users. This enables them to make more informed purchase decisions, but it can also lead to hasty decision-making. The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of social media on Gen Z, impulse buying, and lifestyle on fashion product purchase decisions in Medan City. This research adopts a quantitative approach. The population consists of Generation Z individuals in Medan City, with a purposive sample of 100 respondents. The research findings indicate that social media, impulse buying, and lifestyle have both partial and simultaneous effects on purchase decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the performance of creative industries in Indonesia influenced by digital marketing and financial technology. This study also looks at the role of financial inclusion in mediating the influence of these two variables. This study uses an explanatory research approach. The sample of this research is 100 creative industry players in Indonesia. The sampling technique used is the purposive sampling method. The data analysis used is a Partial Least Square analysis. Based on the results of the discussion, it can be concluded that Digital Marketing has a significant effect on the Creative Industry. Financial Technology has a significant effect on the Creative Industry. Furthermore, the results of the study found that Financial Inclusion mediates the influence of Digital Marketing on the Creative Industry. Furthermore, the results of the study conclude that Financial Inclusion mediates the influence of Financial Technology on the Creative Industry.

Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the use of GeoGebra media in terms of understanding students' mathematical concepts in dimension 3 material. This research is a type of quasi-experimental research with a quantitative approach. The research design used is a type of nonequivalent control group design. This research took place at the Abhariyah Islamic High School, West Lombok. The population in this study were students of class X high school. The sample of researchers took all the students of class X sma with a total of 30 students, of which 15 students were used as experimental classes and 15 students in the control class. The instrument used in this study is a test. Hypothesis tests were carried out using an independent samples t test. The results showed that the use of GeoGebra media can help students in understanding mathematical concepts (effectively). With the calculation results obtained are as follows: the average Post-Test of the experiment and control classes is 13.6 and 12.4. With a significant degree of α = 5% = 0.05, db = n – 2 = 30 – 2 = 28. So that t_tabel=t_((0,025;28) )=2,048 with t_hitung=2,738. Post-Test experiment and control classes show that t_hitung>t_tabel then H_0 rejected. So, it can be concluded that post-test experimentation and control have differences. Based on the calculation results of the N-Gain Score test, it shows that the average value of the N-Gain Score for the experimental class is 72.7944 or 73% belonging to the category of quite effective. With a minimum N-Gain Score of 58.14% and a maximum of 88%. And it can be concluded that this means the effective use of GeoGebra media in terms of understanding students' mathematical concepts in dimension 3 material.
