Abstract

Sebagai tenaga kesehatan profesional, perawat sudah seharusnya memahami dengan baik terhadap model asuhan keperawatan di Rumah Sakit. Karena pelaksanaan model asuhan profesional dapat meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan kesehatan, kepuasan pasien dan perawat. Kerjasama tim sangat dibutuhkan agar pemberian asuhan keperawatan menjadi lebih efektif. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan tingkat pengetahuan perawat ruang rawat inap terhadap model asuhan keperawatan tim (MAK Tim) di Rumah Sakit Umum (RSU) Kota Banda Aceh. Ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif, dengan metode penelitian quasy experimental (one grup pre-test dan post-test design). Populasi sebanyak 57 perawat ruang rawat inap, dan teknik sampel digunakan adalah total sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner. Hasil ukur pengetahuan sebelum intervensi berada pada kategori kurang sebanyak 24 responden (42.1%), dan meningkat secara signifikan menjadi 51 responden (89.5%) berada pada kategori baik setelah diberikan intervensi. Hasil uji paired t-test pengetahuan terhadap MAK Tim didaptkan nilai p-value= 0,000, dimana Ho ditolak, dan diasumsikan terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut, direkomendasikan kepada pengambil kebijakan di RSU Kota Banda Aceh agar secara berkala melaksanakan inhouse training secara rutin untuk tetap mempertahankan pemahaman pelaksanaan MAK Tim sehingga akan menunjang pelayanan keperawatan secara komprehensif dan profesional.

Abstract

Nursing handover is the process of transferring responsibility and accountability among nurses in the provision of patient care in hospitals. Effective handover can reduce incident rates and improve patient safety. This study aimed to optimize nursing handover practices in inpatient wards. The method involved three stages: preparation (identifying issues and planning solutions), implementation (socializing handover procedures during shift changes, guiding the use of digital handover observation forms), and evaluation (assessing handover effectiveness). After the intervention, 88% of nursing handovers in the inpatient ward were carried out properly. It is concluded that regular socialization, strengthened supervision by head nurse or team leaders, reinforced team commitment, and balanced staffing considering education, work experience, and career level (Clinical Nurse I, II, and III) are necessary to sustain effective nursing handovers.

Abstract

Introduction: Academic satisfaction is a key indicator of the quality of education in higher education, which not only reflects the quality of service but also affects students' emotional well-being and the image and reputation of the institution. To improve the quality of academic services, higher education institutions must design innovative strategies that can optimally meet student needs.  Objectives: This study aims to analyze the academic satisfaction of undergraduate nursing students.  Method: This type of quantitative research uses a cross-sectional study design. The sampling technique used a total sampling of 330 undergraduate nursing students in 2021, 2022, and 2023. Data collection used the Student Satisfaction Inventory (SSI) questionnaire developed by Noel Levitz. Data analysis used descriptive statistics to assess the quality of education, guided by the size of the performance gap, the difference between the level of importance (importance rating), and the level of satisfaction (satisfaction rating), and the Importance Satisfaction Matrix analysis.  Result: The study showed that the dimension with the highest level of conformity was service excellence (99.34%), while the lowest was campus support services (76.72%). The Importance Satisfaction Matrix contains 10 items from six dimensions that need serious attention in quadrant I, namely ease of access to computers and Wi-Fi networks, laboratory equipment and learning support, completeness of books/journals/literature, student rights are respected in campus life, well-organized lecture and exam schedules, curriculum is designed according to current needs, ease of new student registration procedures, ease of obtaining scholarship information, administrative services that are not long-winded, campus policies consider the interests and impacts on students. Conclusion: Undergraduate nursing education institutions must conduct periodic evaluations through the Faculty Quality Assurance Unit (SJMF) and campus support service facilities to ensure that student rights are guaranteed and the academic experience meets student expectations.

Abstract

Interprofesional Collaboration (IPC) merupakan praktik kerja sama antarprofesi kesehatan dari berbagai disiplin ilmu dalam satu tim, yang meliputi komponen kemitraan, kerja sama, dan koordinasi. Namun, di Indonesia dan Provinsi Aceh penerapan IPC belum optimal, yang disebabkan berbagai faktor. Oleh karena itu dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui determinan praktik IPC di RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh. Penelitian kuantitatif ini merupakan survei analitik dengan rancangan cross-sectional. Sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik simple random sampling dengan kriteria inklusi pendidikan minimal untuk dokter adalah Spesialis-1, Profesi Ners untuk perawat, D-IV dan S-1 Gizi untuk dietisien, Profesi Apoteker untuk Apoteker; dengan status kepegawaian meliputi Pegawai Negeri Sipil, Pegawai Pemerintah dengan Perjanjian Kerja (P3K), dan Pegawai Kontrak. Kriteria eksklusi yaitu sedang melaksanakan tugas belajar, cuti tahunan, cuti melahirkan atau cuti karena alasan penting. Kuesioner Factor Relation of Interprofessional Collaboration Instrument (FRICI), digunakan untuk mengukur faktor yang berhubungan dengan praktik IPC, sedangkan kuesioner Assessment of Interprofessional Team Collaboration Scale-II (AITCS-II) dipakai untuk mengukur praktik IPC. Analisis data menggunakan uji statistik deskriptif dan inferensial yaitu uji chi-square dan regresi logistik biner. Jumlah subjek sebanyak 328 professional pemberi asuhan (PPA) terdiri atas 105 dokter, 180 perawat, 25 dietisien, dan i8 apoteker 18 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan antara faktor peran profesional, pasien, interpersonal, dan organisasi dengan praktik IPC (masing-masing p-value=0,000); faktor interpersonal merupakan faktor yang paling berhubungan dengan OR 3,223 (95%CI: 1,746-6,477).

Abstract

Background: Workplace violence (WPV) is a serious occupational hazard that can undermine nurses’ professionalism, increase stress, and contribute to a toxic work environment. Repeated exposure to WPV is particularly concerning as it can diminish motivation, reduce job satisfaction, and negatively affect the quality of care. In hospitals located on remote small islands, where frequent interpersonal encounters are inevitable due to limited staffing and close community ties, the challenges faced by WPV-victimized nurses can be even more complex. Objective: This study aimed to explore how nurses working in a remote island hospital perceive and experience WPV Methods: A descriptive phenomenological approach was employed to capture the lived experiences of nurses at Sabang City Hospital who had experienced WPV. Participants were selected purposively. Data were collected using demographic questionnaires, semi-structured in-depth interviews, field notes, and audio recordings. The interviews explored the nature of WPV incidents, emotional and psychological impacts, and expectations for organizational support. Data were analyzed thematically to identify patterns and shared meanings. Results: Three key themes emerged: (1) perceiving WPV as a source of sadness, distress, and long-lasting trauma; (2) recognizing WPV as encompassing both verbal (insults, threats) and non-verbal (intimidation, neglect) forms; and (3) expecting more active roles from superiors and hospital management, including prevention, immediate intervention, and post-incident support. Conclusion: Nurses’ varied perceptions of WPV reflect the urgent need for structured prevention strategies and responsive management interventions. Strengthening organizational policies and support mechanisms is critical to safeguarding nurses’ well-being and fostering a safe, respectful workplace.

Abstract

The role of nurse case managers at Aceh Province General Hospitals is still developing and requires improvement, especially in cross-sector coordination and providing more intensive training for healthcare workers. This study aims to identify the determinants related to the role function of nurse case managers at Aceh Province General Hospitals. The study employed a quantitative analytical design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 61 nurse case managers working at type B public hospitals in Aceh Province. Data were collected using a questionnaire developed by the researcher based on relevant literature. Data analysis was conducted descriptively and inferentially using the chi-square test and binary logistic regression. The results showed that perceptions of self-skills and knowledge, as well as the role within the managed care organization, are significantly associated with the role function of nurse case managers. The perception of self-skills and knowledge was identified as the most influential factor. It is recommended that nurse case managers enhance their self-perception of skills and knowledge to improve their role effectiveness in hospitals.

Abstract

Stres kerja terjadi sebagai akibat dari interaksi antara karyawan dan pekerjaan mereka. Hal ini ditandai dengan perubahan yang memaksa karyawan untuk menyimpang dari fungsi normal mereka. Banyak faktor seperti tanggung jawab, pekerjaan luar, dan individu yang menyebabkan stres, dan berdampak pada layanan kesehatan, khususnya di rumah sakit. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara karakteristik dan beban kerja mental dengan stres kerja perawat di Ruang Rawat Inap di Rumah Sakit Cut Meutia, Kabupaten Aceh Utara. Penelitian deskriptif analitik ini dilakukan dengan metode cross-sectional dan teknik convenience sampling diadopsi untuk memilih 147 perawat sebagai sampel. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data adalah National Aeronautics and Space Administration Task Load Index (NASA-TLX) dan Work Stress Questionnaire (WSQ). Analisis data menggunakan Chi-Square dan hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara usia (p = 0,008), pendapatan (p = 0,010), pengalaman (p = 0,000), dan beban kerja (p = 0,001) dengan stres kerja. Lebih lanjut, stres kerja perawat tidak berhubungan dengan jenis kelamin (p = 0,764), pendidikan (p = 0,348), dan pencapaian kompetensi (p = 0,251). Regresi logistik menunjukkan bahwa faktor yang paling berhubungan dengan terjadinya stres kerja adalah pengalaman kerja (p 0,000, OR: 76,758). Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, manajemen kerja perawat yang sesuai dengan kemampuan fisik dan mental direkomendasikan untuk meningkatkan pelayanan mereka di rumah sakit.
