Abstract

Motivasi merupakan sebuah unsur yang vital dalam sebuahorganisasi. Motivasi berbeda-beda antara satu individu denganindividu yang lainya, tergantung dari banyak faktor seperti ambisi,latar belakang pendidikan, tujuan yang hendak dicapai, danlingkungan sosial. Motivasi berasal dari keinginan yang keras dariseseorang untuk mencapai tujuan tertentu. Tidak peduli kesulitankesulitanapapun yang harus diatasi, melainkan lebih menumbuhkanpemikiran-pemikiran positif serta taat kepada jalannya kegiatan agartujuan organisasi dapat tercapai.Minat merupakan sebuah motivasi intrinsik sebagai kekuatanpembelajaran yang menjadi daya penggerak seseorang dalammelakukan aktivitas dengan penuh ketekunan dan cendrung menetap,dimana aktivitas tersebut merupakan proses pengalaman belajar yangdilakukan dengan penuh kesadaran dan mendatangkan perasaansenang, suka dan gembira.Manajemen kinerja adalah manajemen yang men ciptakanhubungan dan memastikan komunikasi yang efektif. Abstract

Pengetahuan dan keterampilan dasar dalam mengoperasikan komputer saat ini sudahlah menjadi kebutuhan yang tidak dapat dihindari lagi. Berbagai kegiatan atau aktivitas hidup manusia di jaman moderen ini tidak dapat lepas dengan bantuan komputer untuk membuatnya menjadi lebih mudah, cepat dan efektif. Sebagai contohnya aktivitas pekerjaan manusia yang berkaitan dengan komputer diantaranya: pekerjaan dengan pengolah kata (word processing), pekerjaan dengan tabel (table processing), membaca berita, browsing artikel di internet, bermain game, mengirim dan menerima email. Begitu banyaknya tugas pekerjaan manusia yang dapat dikerjakan dengan bantuan komputer membuat banyak program maupun aplikasi yang dirancang untuk berbagai tujuan. Program teknik (engineering software) merupakan program khusus yang dirancang dengan tujuan untuk membantu manusia untuk menyelesaikan berbagai perhitungan dibidang teknik. Pada pengabdian masyarakat ini kami ingin memberikan pengetahuan dan meningkatkan keterampilan kepada siswa SMA/SMK di Banjarmasin tentang perancangan aplikasi atau program yang berkaitan dengan teknik khususnya dibidang teknik mesin, dengan cara memberikan pelatihan perancangan aplikasi interaktif dibidang teknik mesin ini. Adapun metode pelatihan yang digunakan pada pelatihan ini nantinya adalah kombinasi dari teori dan praktek, dimulai dari pengenalan dasar pemrograman, pengenalan identifier, pengenalan variabel dan pengenalan IDE (Integrated Development Environment) sehingga diharapkan akan memudahkan peserta untuk menguasai materi yang diberikan. Peserta juga akan diberikan berbagai contoh studi kasus perhitungan dalam dunia teknik yang kemudian dicoba untuk dibuat aplikasi programnya. Target luaran dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah jasa pelatihan pemrograman teknik dan publikasi yang akan diterbitkan adalah jurnal pengabdian nasional.

Abstract

The main issue of using a permanent magnet in electric machines is the presence of cogging torque. Several methods have been introduced to eliminate it, one of which is by employing a coreless stator. In this paper, the load characteristic analysis of the double-side internal coreless stator axial flux permanent magnet generator with the specification of 1 kW, 220 V, 50 Hz, 300 rpm and 1 phase is discussed. The purpose is to learn the effect of the load to the generator performance, particularly the output power, efficiency and voltage regulation. The design and analysis are conducted analytically and numerically with two types of simulated loads, pure resistive and resistive-inductive in series. Each type of load provides power factor 1 and 0.85 respectively. The simulation results show that when loaded with resistive load, the generator gives a better performance at the output power (1,241 W) and efficiency (91 %), whereas a better voltage regulator (5.86 %) is achieved when it is loaded with impedance. Since the difference in the value of each parameter being compared is relatively small, it can be concluded that the generator represents good performance in both loads.

Abstract

Vibration in a generator is an important factor in detail of design. To know the behavior of the vibration, a test is performed using vibratiometer. The aim in writing this paper is to obtain reference classification of vibration that can be viewed on a standard IEC 34-14 and DIN EN 60034-14. In this paper the results of testing, the value of velocity and acceleration, will be measured analytically so asto create value that can be used to compare the value of the test results with the value from 34-14 IEC and DIN EN 60034-14 standards.

Abstract

This paper discusses magnetic simulation and analysis of radial flux permanent magnet generator (PMG) using finite element method (FEM) by utilizing open source software FEMM 4.2. The specification of generator is 25 V, 28 A, 3 phase, 300 rpm. The analyzed magnetic flux was in the air gap, stator teeth and slots to find out the distribusian pattern and its fluctuation. The simulations were conducted in no-load and nominal load (28 A) conditions. Furthermore the maximum flux density of simulation (Bg(sim)) was used to calculate phase voltage Eph to find out the magnitude of generated electromotive force (EMF). The calculation results were presented as voltage vs. rotation graph in no-load condition and voltage vs. current graph in nominal load condition. Both graphs were validated with Eph of experiment result (Eph(exp)) and Eph that the value of Bg obtained from analytical calculation (Eph(calc)). The final results showed that in no-load condition, Eph graph with Bg(sim) (Eph(sim)) was close to Eph(exp) and Eph(calc). The error rate with respect to the experiment was 6,9%. In nominal load condition, Eph(sim) graph almost coincides with Eph(calc.) graph, with the voltage drop of both was 0,441 V. Both graphs however were far different from Eph(exp) graph, which has 9 V of voltage drop. The overall results demonstrated that magnetic distribution pattern presented by FEM was very helpful to avoid magnetic flux accumulation in a particular segment. Besides Bg(sim) facilitated to predict the value of Eph.

Abstract

Basic understanding in using computers has become a necessity that must be understood by most people. Various aspects of human life in modern times require the help of computers to make it easier, more effective and efficient. So many human activities that can be done with the help of computers, for example: word processing, table processing, browsing on the internet, sending and receiving emails,etc. Because of the many needs in using computers, many programs and applications are made for various purposes. Engineering software or engineering program is a program created to help humans complete various kinds of calculations in the field of engineering. On this occasion, we carried out community service to SMKN2 students in Banjarmasin to provide understanding and skills about making applications or programs related to engineering, especially in the field of mechanical engineering. This service is carried out by providing training in making interactive applications in the field of mechanical engineering. The training method used is a combination of theory and practice, starting with a basic understanding of programming, introduction of identifiers, introduction of variables and introduction of IDE (Integrated Development Environment) so that it is expected to provide students with an understanding of the material presented. Students will also be given various kinds of calculation cases in the engineering field that the program application will be made to be able to complete these calculations easily and quickly. The target of community service is technical programming training services and publications in national service journals.

Abstract

The main source of heat in the permanent magnet generator (PMG) is the total losses which f come from winding losses, core losses and rotational losses. Total heat arising from such these losses must be properly distributed and maintained so as not to exceed the maximum allowable temperature to prevent damage to insulation on the winding and demagnetization on the permanent magnet machines. In this research, we consider thermal analysis which is occurred on the radial flux PMG by using finite element method to determine the extent to which the heat generated can be properly distributed. The simulation results show that there are no points of heat concentration or hot spot. The simulation maximum temperatures of the permanent magnet and the winding are 39.1oC and 72.5oC respectively while the experimental maximum temperature of the winding is 62oC.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan materi ajar dengan menggunakan audio visual. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di Pantai Date, Banggae Timur, Kabupaten Majene, Provinsi Sulawesi Barat dengan pendekatan R&D (Penelitian dan Pengembangan). Subjek penelitian adalah 19 mahasiswa prodi destinasi Politeknik Pariwisata Makasar sebagai responden, sementara validasi produk dilakukan oleh ahli materi dan ahli media. Tahapan penelitian diantaranya Identifikasi Masalah, Pengumpulan data, Desain Produk, Validasi desain, revisi desain, testing produk, Revisi Produk , mengoperasikan produk dan final produk hasil revisi. Hasil validasi aspek materi rata-rata menunjukkan skor 86,75% dengan kategori sangat baik. Aspek yang dinilai oleh ahli materi adalah tentang Bahasa, Asynchronous, Grammar dan Informasi tentang produk wisata. Sementara validasi pada aspek media menunjukkan skor rerat 84,5 dengan kategori Sangat Baik. Simpulan penelitian bahwa materi yang dikembangkan dengan menggunakan media audio visual pada tema Storynomics tourism products layak digunakan sebagai bahan pembelajaran mata kuliah Bahasa Inggris. Diperlukan penelitian di masa datang tentang pengaruh media yang memuat Storynomics Pantai Date terhadap hasil belajar atau motivasi belajar mahasiswa. Dibutuhkan juga uji coba pada kelompok yang besar.

Abstract

The research location is located in Deme 1 Village, East Sumalata District, North Gorontalo Regency. The rock outcrops studied are sandstones which are part of the Dolokapa Formation which is spread in the northern part of the Tilamuta Sheet. This study aims to analyze the tectonic setting of the origin of the sandstones. The research method used to achieve the research objectives is using two methods consisting of field geological surveys and X-Ray Fluoresence (XRF) Geochemical laboratory analysis. Based on the results and discussion that the two sandstone samples are of the Fe-Shale and Fe-Sand types which originate from the ARC (oceanic island arc) tectonic setting.

Abstract

Great efforts have been exhausted to bring religion closer to the media (as opposed to bringing media closer to religion), or to break down the traditional boundaries between "religion" and "media". In light of these efforts and various studies, some have tried to point out the need to build new bridges between religion and the media. This effort has even led scholars to believe that in the "age of media", the secular is holy and the holy is secular. This effort is aimed at unifying the two important elements of contemporary human life, which historically can also be understood in the context of challenging the relationship between science and religion. In this paper, we classify various theories and approaches regarding the essence of media into three branches: functionalistic, essentialist, and hypothetical interactive. After a brief review of the ramifications of each theory's compatibility or incompatibility with media, religion, and religious teachings, it is shown that more fundamental steps must be taken to unify religion and media in the era known as "Global", "Religion", or "The Age of Religion". Media". Another section of this paper is devoted to the necessary distinction between media religion and mediated religion, emphasizing the main characteristics of religious media theory. Although the basic tenets of media essentialism have been accepted, religion, which is neither institutional ministry nor absolute personal experience, has the potential to be consistent with the exclusive nature of its media. The last section of this article points to the religious focus axis of the media hypothesis in which the elements of religion, culture, globalization, and media are balanced and stable. This is religious pluralism. Keywords: Religion, Interactive Dialogue   Abstrak Upaya-upaya besar telah habis untuk mendekatkan agama ke media (sebaliknya daripada mendekatkan media dengan agama), atau mendobrak batas-batas tradisional antara "agama" dan "media". Mengingat upaya tersebut dan berbagai penelitian, beberapa telah mencoba untuk menunjukkan perlunya membangun jembatan baru antara agama dan media. Upaya ini bahkan membuat para sarjana percaya bahwa di "era media", sekuler itu suci dan yang suci itu sekuler. Upaya ini ditujukan untuk penyatuan dari dua elemen penting kehidupan manusia kontemporer, yang secara historis dapat juga dipahami dalam konteks menantang hubungan antara sains dan agama. Dalam tulisan ini, dilakukan klasifikasi berbagai teori dan pendekatan tentang esensi media dalam tiga cabang: fungsionalistik, esensialis, dan interaktif hipotesis. Setelah tinjauan singkat tentang konsekuensi dari kompatibilitas masing-masing teori atau ketidaksesuaian dengan media, agama, dan ajaran agama, ditunjukkan bahwa lebih langkah mendasar harus diambil untuk menggabungkan agama dan media di era yang dikenal sebagai ”Global”, ”Agama”, atau ”Zaman Media”. Bagian lain dari karya tulis ini dikhususkan untuk perbedaan yang diperlukan antara media agama dan agama yang dimediasi, menekankan karakteristik utama teori media religi. Meskipun prinsip dasar media esensialisme telah diterima, agama, yang bukan kementerian institusional maupun pengalaman pribadi yang mutlak, memiliki potensi untuk konsisten dengan eksklusif sifat medianya. Bagian terakhir dari artikel ini menunjuk ke poros fokus agama hipotesis media di mana unsur-unsur agama, budaya, globalisasi, dan media seimbang dan stabil. Inilah pluralisme agama.
