Abstract

The potential of students that can be developed in facing 21st century learning includes creativity and basic scientific thinking abilities, but in reality the level of creativity and KDBI (Basic Scientific Working Ability) of students in science and science learning at Bhakti Mulia Wonogiri Vocational School is relatively low. This research aims to determine the extent of creativity and basic scientific work skills in class This research is quantitative descriptive research with non-test data collection techniques using questionnaires. The research was conducted with students filling out a 35-question questionnaire with details of 20 creativity questions and 15 KDBI questions. Each indicator consists of 5 questions on the questionnaire. The research results show that the indicator of fluency in creativity is 54.29% in the less creative category, the indicator of flexibility in creativity is 53.93% in the less creative category, the indicator of authenticity in creativity is 54.64% in the less creative category, the indicator detail in creativity was 54.82%, including the less creative category, and for the Process indicator in KDBI it was 55.71%, it was in the poor category, the knowledge indicator in KDBI was 59.11%, it was in the quite good category and the attitude indicator in KDBI was 54, 46% are in the poor category. It can be concluded that the average indicator of creativity of Bhakti Mulia Wonogiri Vocational School students is 54.42% so it is on average less creative, while the KDBI of 56.42% is in the fairly good average category. Based on this research, the Bhakti Mulia Vonogiri Vocational School needs to carry out learning using the Project based learning method which can increase students' creativity and KDBI.

Abstract

Pembelajaran fisika sering kali dianggap sulit oleh siswa karena sifatnya yang abstrak dan penuh dengan konsep matematis. Untuk mengatasi tantangan ini, model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) menjadi alternatif inovatif yang menarik perhatian dalam dunia pendidikan. Kajian literatur ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas model PBL dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi fisika. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan mengumpulkan dan menganalisis artikel penelitian yang relevan dari database Google Scholar.Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model PBL mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan, khususnya dalam pemahaman konsep, keterampilan berpikir kritis, dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Selain itu, model PBL juga menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang lebih aktif dan kolaboratif. Namun, keberhasilan implementasi PBL sangat bergantung pada kesiapan guru, perencanaan yang matang, dan fasilitas pendukung. Kesimpulan dari kajian ini adalah bahwa model pembelajaran PBL merupakan pendekatan yang efektif untuk diterapkan pada pembelajaran fisika, dengan catatan pentingnya dukungan yang memadai untuk mengatasi tantangan implementasi. Kajian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi guru dan peneliti dalam merancang strategi pembelajaran fisika yang lebih efektif.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan mengulas kontribusi aplikasi pesan WhatsApp terhadap perilaku radikalisme masyarakat Indonesia. Ini berangkat dari pengakuan mantan pentolan Jamaah Islamiah Ali Fauzi dia mengatakan bahwa WhatsApp kini menjadi aplikasi pengirim pesan yang paling efektif untuk menyebarkan faham radikal. Dengan pendekatan uses and gratifications  berbasis data pustaka, ditemukan bahwa aplikasi pesan WhatsApp memberikan kontribusi yang sangat besar kepada penyebaran radikalisme di Indonesia yaitu   lewat   kemudahan   dalam   pemasangan   dan   verifikasi   menggunakan   nomor handphone dan fitur-fitur yang disediakan oleh WhatsApp. Para teroris yang juga bagian dari masyarakat pengguna media dengan kebebasannya dapat memilih media mana yang paling mendukung tujuannya   untuk menyebarkan faham radikalisme, padahal tujuan awal dari WhatsApp dengan  fitur-fitur yang disediakan olehnya sangat bermanfaat dan sangat memudahkan bagi masyarakat luas agar dapat selalu terhubung lewat aplikasi pesan. Sayangnya penggunaan media WhatsApp untuk kegitan faham radikalisme belum bisa sepenuhnya dikendalikan oleh fihak WhatsApp sendiri maupun pemerintah karena banyaknya pengguna dan keterbatasan-keterbatan yang dimiliki.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the influence of principals' managerial skills, organizational climate, and work motivation on the effectiveness of school management, examining both partial and simultaneous effects. The research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The population consisted of 213 teachers, and a sample of 139 teachers was selected using Slovin’s formula and proportional random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analysed using descriptive statistics and both simple and multiple linear regression analyses. The prerequisite tests included normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and linearity tests. The results indicate that the principal's managerial skills have a significant partial effect on school management effectiveness, accounting for 68.9% of the variance. Organizational climate contributes 69.0%, and work motivation has a significant influence of 68.6%. Simultaneously, managerial skills, organizational climate, and work motivation have a significant impact on school management effectiveness, contributing 72.6%. These findings highlight the importance of competent leadership, a conducive organizational environment, and high work motivation in improving school management effectiveness

Abstract

Sub fokus penelitian ini adalah perencanaan strategi kepala sekolah dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka, pelaksanaan strategi kepala sekolah dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka dan evaluasi strategi kepala sekolah dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Nasima Kota Semarang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui strategi kepala sekolah dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Nasima Kota Semarang.Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan studi kasus. Desain penelitian kualitatif melalui tiga tahapan yaitu: orientasi, eksplorasi fokus, dan analisis data. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Analisis data dengan tiga langkah: reduksi data, menyajikan data, dan menarik simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) perencanaan strategi kepala sekolah dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka dilakukan dengan meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan, penetapan program sekolah dan sosialisasi program. 2) Pelaksanaan strategi kepala sekolah dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka dengan menciptakan pembelajaran yang inovatif, merancang program P5 sesuai dengan tema yang ditentukan, membentuk team dan penanggung jawab pelaksanaan program sekolah. 3) evaluasi strategi kepala sekolah dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka dengan menentukan instrumen penilaian berupa angket dan lembar observasi.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of differentiated STEAM learning in physics learning that focuses on the measurement aspect. The application of this learning model is directed to realize the Pancasila profile of students in the critical reasoning dimension. The research method used was a quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest control group design, namely the experimental class was given an intervention with a differentiated STEAM approach, while the control class was given conventional learning. Based on the results of the N-gain score test calculation, the average N-gain score of the experimental class (differentiated STEAM learning approach) is 63.51%, which is included in the fairly effective category. With a minimum N-Gain value of 22.22% and a maximum of 90%. While the average N-Gain score of the control class (conventional learning) of 55.77% is included in the less effective category, with a minimum N-gain score of -12.50% and a maximum of 100%. So it can be concluded that the use of the differentiated STEAM learning approach is quite effective in instilling the Pancasila student profile in the critical reasoning dimension.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the teaching materials for grade X physics from two important perspectives, namely the ESD (Education for Sustainable Development) pillar and the Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) approach. The research method uses descriptive qualitative research. The population in this study was teaching materials for grade X physics used by teachers in Rembang Regency. The research instrument was a checklist of analysis instruments based on indicators of the Education for Sustainable Development pillars and STEAM components to obtain data. The results of the study found that the teaching materials used had implemented the ESD and STEAM pillars with an average percentage of occurrence of 12% for the socio-cultural pillar, 36% for the environmental pillar, 16% for the economic pillar, 87% in the Science component, 50% in the technology component, 57% in the engineering component, 77% in art, and 40% in the mathematics component. The results show that the implementation of the pillars of ESD and STEAM pillars in teaching books was still low.

Abstract

Advances in technology have a huge impact on the development of physics, the tracker application is one example of technological developments in the field of physics that can solve problems in analysing videos of the motion of an object recorded using a smartphone. One of the motion phenomena that can be analysed using the tracker application is the oscillatory motion of an elastic pendulum. The purpose of this research to know the analysis of elastic pendulum motion in the form of oscillation trajectory and period using tracker application. The method used in this research is experimental method. The results of the analysis obtained from this research are that the oscillation trajectory of the elastic pendulum does not move the same or irregularly when oscillating, and the period that occurs in the oscillation of the x and y axes against time (t) is relatively constant.

Abstract

This study analyzes the potential of integrating STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in physics learning within Grobogan District, Indonesia, aligning with the National Long-Term Development Plan (RPJPN) 2025-2045’s focus on quality education. This descriptive qualitative research surveyed 23 physics teachers from the local MGMP (Subject Teacher Forum) using a questionnaire about STEAM-SDGs integration. Results revealed positive attitudes towards both STEAM (68% positive: 22% strongly agree, 46% agree) and SDGs (57% agree). However, understanding and application levels were low. 42% of teachers were undecided about STEAM, and 32% about SDGs. Regarding practical application, 37% were hesitant about STEAM implementation, and 29% about SDG integration. These findings highlight the need for comprehensive training to enhance teachers’ understanding and preparedness for integrating STEAM and SDGs into physics instruction. This is crucial for improving physics education quality and equipping students to address 21st century global challenges through innovative and sustainable learning.

Abstract

One of the reasons for the lack of student learning motivation is the unavailability of learning media that can focus students' attention and help students understand science concepts. The purpose of this PKM activity is to provide assistance to science teachers in overcoming difficulties in the absence of learning media as a tool in the science learning process in junior high schools. The specific target of this PKM is to design, create and use virtual learning media for physics/science materials. The output of this activity is a physics/IPA learning media package for junior high schools. The method used in this activity is mentoring and training. Activities in this PKM are mentoring and training in designing, creating and using virtual learning media for junior high school physics/science materials. This activity was carried out for 32 hours of lessons and monitoring the use of learning media by MGMP physics/IPA teachers in Semarang Regency for 3 months. Activities that have been carried out to overcome partner problems are designing virtual learning media using several Power Point Presentation Developer software, Video Tracker, Latex and PheT. The series of activities consists of four main stages, namely media design, media creation, media use and testing of virtual learning media for junior high school physics/science materials. Junior high school physics/science teachers succeeded in making learning media using Power Point Presentation Developer and Phet on the concepts of temperature and heat
