Abstract

21st Century Learning is learning that demands the development of more interesting learning media and utilizing technology. But in fact, the use of technology in the learning process is still not utilized optimally. For this reason, this research was motivated by the lack of use of technology in learning media used in the classroom. The purpose of this study is to develop learning media in the form of E-LKPD based on Problem Based Learning on learning that can be used to improve students' decision-making abilities. The development model used is the ADDIE development model. The research instruments used are expert validation sheets to measure the feasibility of E-LKPD and pretest postest questions to measure students' decision-making abilities. The results of E-LKPD eligibility validation by material experts and media experts obtained percentages of 96.875% and 92.30%. The results of the learners' pretest postest were tested with the T test and obtained a significance of 0.000. Based on the results of the overall research, E-LKPD is feasible to be used as a learning medium to improve the decision-making ability of students.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the level of students' skills in the case of renewable energy physical material problems in solar power plants. This research method is quantitative. The research subjects consisted of 36 class X SMA N 1 Mranggen students. Data collection techniques include tests, observation, and documentation. The research instruments used were test and observation instruments. Based on the results of the research that has been conducted, it shows that the decision-making skills of students in the high category are 10 (27.8%). A total of 21 students (58.3%) still have medium ability, and 5 students (13.9%) have low ability.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan media pembelajaran berupa kincir angin tenaga surya berbasis STEM materi sains sekolah dasar untuk mendukung Kurikulum 2013. Penelitian ini sebagai solusi dari permasalahan pendidik mengenai pembelajaran menggunakan media pada Kurikulum 2013 dalam menghadapi tuntutan pendidikan abad 21. Diharapkan peserta didik memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan STEM secara terpadu yang dapat diterapkan mulai dari tingkat Sekolah Dasar (SD) sampai dengan Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mendeskripsikan dasar kebutuhan pembelajaran menggunakan alat peraga berbasis STEM; 2) mengembangkan rancangan alat peraga sederhana berbasis STEM; 3) mendeskripsikan alat peraga sederhana bebasis STEM. Metode Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan data sekunder yaitu dengan menelusuri jurnal elektronik dan studi dokumentasi di perpustakaan. Dari hasil yang didapat beberapa jurnal dan review karya ilmiah skripsi yang relevan menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran energi alternatif berbasis kincir angin bertenaga surya dengan pendekatan STEM bisa membantu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

The independent learning curriculum in the current era applies differentiated learning.The implementation of this independent curriculum is an effort to realize fair and equitable education in line with the goals of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). One of the approaches in the Independent Curriculum is differentiated learning, namely learning that is carried out in accordance with students' learning needs. These learning needs include students' learning profiles/styles, in addition to their learning motivation, interests and talents. The aim of this research is to determine the potential for implementing differentiated learning based on ESD (Education For Sustainable Development). This type of research uses field research. The data collection techniques used were observation, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis techniques, namely data analysis techniques that describe and analyze the things that are the focus of the research.

Abstract

A coupled spring-pendulum system in a conservative field was studied where the equation of motion of the system using Lagrangian and Hamiltonian equation were obtained. The equation of motion represented by a second-order differential equation from the three generalized coordinate were used. The potential energy equal to zero when the system is in its equilibrium position. The generalized coordinate that being used were the angle of the first pendulum θ_1, the angle of the second pendulum θ_2, and the increase in the length of the spring x. The resulting equation of motion can be used to determine the dynamics behavior of the system at any time. Students' understanding is expected to be more complete by providing a procedure to derive the Lagrangian equation of motion.

Abstract

Abstract : This research aims to explain the conception and actualization of Transformational Leadership in Islamic educational institutions. The transformational leadership of school/madrasah principals emphasizes their efforts to influence their subordinates, especially teachers, in order to gain support from various stakeholders in improving the quality of student education. The method used in the preparation of this article is the Literature Study method. Literature Study is a data collection method that aims to search for information and data through written documents or online sources that support the writing process. Based on the research findings and discussions in this study, several conclusions can be drawn. One of them is that transformational leadership is a type of leadership that can bring about change within individuals and the entire organization to achieve higher performance and outcomes. To become a transformational leader, several approaches can be taken, including: a) Creating a clear vision, b) Managing the implementation of the vision to establish a clear vision, c) Motivating the team, d) Being creative and innovative.Keywords : Leadership, Transformational, EducationAbstrak : penelitian ini bermaksud untuk menerangkan bagaimana konsepsi dan aktualisasi Kepemimpinan Transformasional di lembaga pendidikan Islam. Kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah/madrasah menekankan upaya mereka untuk mempengaruhi bawahannya, terutama guru, guna mendapatkan dukungan dari berbagai pihak dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penyusunan artikel ini adalah metode Studi Pustaka. Studi Pustaka adalah metode pengumpulan data yang bertujuan untuk mencari informasi dan data melalui dokumen tertulis atau sumber online yang mendukung proses penulisan. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, disimpulkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional memiliki kemampuan untuk menginspirasi perubahan dalam individu-individu yang terlibat serta dalam keseluruhan organisasi, dengan tujuan meningkatkan kinerja dan hasil secara signifikan. Abstract

This study is aimed to determine the impact of the ticker timer experiment using Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on students’ cognitive and affective learning outcomes in Physics. The research used a quasi-experimental method which is conducted in one of the senior high schools in Semarang, Indonesia. The research subject for both experimental and control classes was chosen randomly from the population. The experimental class carried out the learning using the PBL model-based experiment and the control class implemented the Direct Instruction model. The cognitive and affective learning outcomes were collected through the test and the observation sheets. The data analysis used the t-test statistical method. The results showed that there were differences in cognitive learning outcomes between the control class and the experiment class (tcount = 1.993> ttable = 1.667). Based on the results of the observations also found differences in students' affective learning outcomes with the average value of the experimental class was 25 which is in the very good category and 23.21 for the control class which is in the good category. Based on the results of the discussion, it can be concluded that the PBL model-based experiment has a significant impact on students' cognitive and affective learning outcomes

Abstract

Background Student management is a crucial element in the educational system that aims to develop students' potential comprehensively. Purpose This article discusses various aspects of student management, ranging from creating a conducive learning environment and facilitating effective learning to managing extracurricular activities. Design/method/approach This research employs a qualitative approach with literature study data collection techniques. Results The results show that good student management can create a comfortable learning atmosphere and support the development of students' interests and talents. Additionally, collaboration between schools, educators, and parents also plays an important role in optimizing students' potential. Contribution/value This article concludes that effective student management not only improves academic performance but also develops non-academic aspects essential for the formation of students' character and social skills.

Abstract

Critical and creative thinking skills at SMA Pangudi Luhur (PL) Don Bosko are still classified as moderate critical thinking and less creative thinking, respectively. This illustrates that some students have not been able to interpret information scientifically and develop ideas to solve a problem. This study aims to analyze students' critical and creative thinking skills in understanding renewable energy material at SMA PL Don Bosko. These skills are important to face global challenges related to sustainable energy utilization. The research method used is descriptive with quantitative and qualitative approaches. Data were obtained through tests and questionnaires involving 20 students as respondents. The results of the analysis show that most students have critical thinking skills in the moderate category with an average achievement percentage of 62.94%, with the most dominant aspect of Elementary Clarification. However, students' creative thinking skills are still classified as lacking with an average achievement of 63.8%, with dominant results in the fluency aspect. Factors such as learning approaches, active student involvement, and learning resource support influence the development of these skills. This study suggests integrating a project-based learning model to improve students' critical and creative thinking skills on renewable energy materials.

Abstract

The potential of students that can be developed in facing 21st century learning includes creativity and basic scientific thinking abilities, but in reality the level of creativity and KDBI (Basic Scientific Working Ability) of students in science and science learning at Bhakti Mulia Wonogiri Vocational School is relatively low. This research aims to determine the extent of creativity and basic scientific work skills in class This research is quantitative descriptive research with non-test data collection techniques using questionnaires. The research was conducted with students filling out a 35-question questionnaire with details of 20 creativity questions and 15 KDBI questions. Each indicator consists of 5 questions on the questionnaire. The research results show that the indicator of fluency in creativity is 54.29% in the less creative category, the indicator of flexibility in creativity is 53.93% in the less creative category, the indicator of authenticity in creativity is 54.64% in the less creative category, the indicator detail in creativity was 54.82%, including the less creative category, and for the Process indicator in KDBI it was 55.71%, it was in the poor category, the knowledge indicator in KDBI was 59.11%, it was in the quite good category and the attitude indicator in KDBI was 54, 46% are in the poor category. It can be concluded that the average indicator of creativity of Bhakti Mulia Wonogiri Vocational School students is 54.42% so it is on average less creative, while the KDBI of 56.42% is in the fairly good average category. Based on this research, the Bhakti Mulia Vonogiri Vocational School needs to carry out learning using the Project based learning method which can increase students' creativity and KDBI.
