Abstract

The worksheet that common used in schools only refers to cognitive assessment, especially at SMAN 2 Lamongan. In the independent learning curriculum, it is not enough to only required knowledge and attitude competencies, but skill competencies. Therefore, alternative learning that can solve the problem is learning by applying Contextual Teaching Learning-based worksheets to train students science process skills in Ecosystem material for grade X SMAN 2 Lamongan, which is adapted from the worksheet developed by Rosa (2020). This study aims to describe 1) the implementation of learning, 2) students science process skills, and 3) student responses. This research is a type of pre-experimental design research. The research target is 116 students of grade X SMAN 2 Lamongan. The parameters measured were 1) the implementation of learning, 2) students science process skills, and 3) student responses. The research data were analyzed according to the descriptive quantitative analysis method. The results showed 1) the implementation of learning carried out by the teacher was very good, 99.44%, 2) 93.75% of students had carried out science process skills very well and achieved completeness indicators, 3) student responses to worksheets were 97.22 % or very positive.

Abstract

Pendidikan dengan sistem pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kebutuhan dan karakteristik peserta didik menjadi salah satu gagasan utama dalam program Merdeka belajar khususnya pada kemampuan literasi sains, LKPD berbasis collaborative learning mampu menjadi bahan ajar yang tepat untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dalam penerapan literasi sains. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian pengembangan 4-D (Define, Design, Develop dan Dissiminate), akan tetapi peneliti hanya melaksanakan sampai tahap Develop. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan LKPD berbasis collaborative learning pada materi ekosistem kelas X SMA untuk melatih kemampuan lierasi sains peserta didik dinilai valid berdasarkan hasil validasi 3 ahli yaitu dosen Pendidikan biologi, dosen biologi dan guru biologi SMA dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 3,75%. LKPD yang berbasis collaborative learning materi ekosistem yang telah dikembangkan dikategorikan sangat praktis berdasarkan nilai rata-rata kepraktisan LKPD 1 dan LKPD 2 yaitu 94,19%. LKPD berbasis collaborative learning pada materi ekosistem kelas X SMA untuk melatih kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik dinilai efektif ditinjau dari hasil belajar peserta didik dihasilkan nilai rata-rata 94,19% dan respons peserta didik terhadap LKPD collaborative learning materi ekosistem dengan nilai rata-rata 94%. Kata Kunci: Efektivitas, LKPD, Collaborative Learning, Literasi Sains, Ekosistem.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to determine the improvement of students' critical thinking skills on solar system material in the project-based learning (PjBL) learning model with a differentiated approach. According to PISA, the results of observations in class VII State JHS 13 Madiun and interviews with several science teachers, Indonesian students' science skills are in a low category. Therefore, an appropriate learning model is needed to facilitate students to improve their critical thinking skills. Methode: This research is classified as a type of quantitative research. The subjects in this study were 30 students of class VII A at State JHS 13 Madiun city and science teachers at JHS 13 Madiun city. Results: The analysis showed that this study's increase in pretest and posttest scores was high, with an N-gain value of 0.72. This study also shows that PjBL learning intensely impacts the critical thinking skills of junior high school students in solar system material with a d-effect size value of 0.79. Novelty: The novelty of this research is to collaborate the PjBL learning model with a differentiated approach. In this study, the syntax of PjBL learning collaborates with a differentiation approach that can facilitate all student characteristics. Project creation in this learning is done based on students' learning style characteristics.

Abstract

Objective: This research is for the development of the TOSLS scientific literacy assessment instrument to determine the scientific literacy abilities of undergraduate science education students. Scientific literacy skills need to be known as a form of evaluation in learning. Scientific literacy skills are one of the abilities students must have after graduating from college and facing the work environment. Method: The quantitative method used in this research uses a Rasch model approach from 29 Bachelor of Science Education program students. Indicators of item suitability with Rasch model analysis measure this quality. The questions consist of 9 multiple choice questions with a correct score of 1 and an incorrect score of 0. Data processing uses MS Excel and SPSS 25 software. Results: The results show that all fit items, according to Rasch analysis, can be maintained without revision and used as a question instrument to measure the level of science literacy ability science for students with moderate scientific literacy abilities. Novelty: The research contribution of this question instrument can be used as reference material for evaluating the lecture process in biophysics courses on fermentation topics based on the level of scientific literacy ability.

Abstract

This research is Classroom Action Research with the aim of finding out the application of the Problem Based Learning model which integrates the TaRL (Teaching at The Right Level) and KSE (Social Emotional Competence) approaches in improving the learning outcomes of class VIII B students at SMPN Bojonegoro Integrated Model. The research was carried out in two cycles which included planning, action, observation and monitoring and reflection stages. The research subjects were 32 students in class VIII B of Bojonegoro Integrated Model Middle School for the 2023/2024 academic year. The instrument used is a post test. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes with a completion percentage of 40.63% in cycle 1 and a completion percentage of 78.13% in cycle 2. The learning outcomes of students in groups in each category (very advanced, proficient and developing) also increased. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of the PBL model which integrates TaRL and KSE can improve the learning outcomes of students at VIII B SMPN Integrated Model Bojonegoro in elements, compounds and mixtures.

Abstract

Objective: This research aims to test the effectiveness of an e-book on the ethno-conservation of agricultural land in Sidoarjo for teaching students critical thinking skills in environmental conservation material. Critical thinking ability is one of the higher-order thinking skills in Bloom's taxonomy and needs to be applied in the learning process. Critical thinking skills need to be trained in students to solve problems in their environment. Method: The method used in this study is a one-group pre-test and post-test design with 15 students from the science program. The e-book had already undergone feasibility and practicality tests before being implemented in the learning process. The effectiveness test consisted of 5 multiple-choice questions and six essay questions tested for feasibility. Data processing was done using Ms. Excel and SPSS. Results: The Wilcoxon test results showed that using the e-book oriented towards the local wisdom values of Sidoarjo in environmental conservation material affects teaching students critical thinking skills. Novelty: The results of this research can be used as a reference for learning media integrated with local wisdom values to teach students critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Abstrak  Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media berbasis creative problem solving dalam bentuk E-book untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi digital siswa. Kemampuan literasi digital menjadi topik yang penting karena membantu siswa dalam merancang strategi memecahkan masalah serta mengelola informasi. E-book berbasis creative problem solving diharapkan dapat melatih kemampuan literasi digital siswa pada topik perubahan lingkungan. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi validitas isi, penyajian, dan bahasa dari E-book tersebut. Kepraktisan penggunaan E-book juga diteliti untuk memastikan bahwa E-book tersebut layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dalam melatih kemampuan literasi digital pada siswa SMA dalam memahami materi perubahan lingkungan. Metode penelitian mengacu pada model pengembangan 4D yaitu define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Penelitian ini melibatkan 27 siswa kelas X MIPA dari SMA 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya dalam uji coba terbatas. Data mengenai validasi E-book diperoleh dari tiga validator, sementara kepraktisan E-book dievaluasi melalui angket respons siswa yang kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil validasi E-book menunjukkan persentase skor 91,35%, yang mengindikasikan tingkat validitas yang sangat tinggi. Hasil angket respons siswa menunjukkan skor 97,60%, yang menunjukkan bahwa E-book tersebut sangat praktis. Oleh karena itu, berdasarkan aspek validitas dan kepraktisan, pengembangan E-book ini dinyatakan layak serta sesuai digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan E-LKPD berbasis project based learning submateri pencemaran lingkungan untuk melaihkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik kelas X SMA. Jenis penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model ADDIE. Fitur yang terdapat pada E-LKPD yang dikembangkan adalah Bio Explore, Bio Vid, Bio Ask, Bio Inspire, Bio Planning, Bio Activity, Let’s Show Case, dan Bio Reflect yang diintegrasikan dengan indikator berpikir kreatif yaitu kelancaran, keluwesan, keaslian dan merinci. Uji validitas E-LKPD dilakukan oleh 3 validator memperoleh rata-rata skor persentase sebesar 98,89% dengan kategori sangat valid. Kepraktisan dinilai berdasarkan observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan angket respon peserta didik dengan memperoleh hasil rata-rata persentase sebesar 100% dan 91,87% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Keefektifan E-LKPD dinilai berdasarkan hasil belajar siswa, ketercapaian indikator berpikir kreatif dan angket respon peserta didik. Peningkatanm hasil belajar siswa berdasarkan skor N-gain score yang diperoleh sebesar 0,73 dengan kategori peningkatan yang tinggi mampu melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif dan penilaian proyek siswa sebesar 94% dengan kategori sangat efektif. Selain itu, angket respon positif peserta didik terhadap penggunaan E-LKPD memperoleh rata-rata persentase sebesar 93,79% dengan kategori sangat efektif. E-LKPD yang dikembangkan mampu melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa khususnya pada materi pencemaran lingkungan yang relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan E-LKPD berbasis project based learning pada sub materi pencemaran lingkungan dinyatakan valid, praktis dan efektif untuk dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan ajar.

Abstract

The fishing cat (Prionailurus viverrinus) is a protected animal. Currently, the population in nature is declining due to over-fishing and changes in environmental quality. The existence of this fishing cat is an interesting finding that must be immediately studied at the morphological and genetic levels for certainty of its species. This study aimed to identify fishing cat from Wonorejo Mangroves, based on morphology and Cyt b genes analysis. The results of Cyt b identification obtained a DNA sequence length of 398 bp with a similarity value of the five Prionailurus sp. samples between 96.75 to 98.97%. The identification using molecular data consisted of five variations of nucleotide bases, and the average value of the genetic distance with the ingroup was 1.0%., The Cyt b DNA markers analysis succesfully identified fishing cat from Wonorejo Mangroves as Prionailurus viverrinus.

Abstract

Abstract One of the characteristics of the Independent Curriculum listed in the Pancasila Student Profile dimension is critical reasoning. This is in line with the demands of 21st-century skills, namely critical thinking. The implementation of the Independent Learning Curriculum emphasizes the selection of learning models. One of the learning alternatives that can be implemented is learning that applies LKPD based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) to train students' critical thinking skills in class X environmental change materials adapted from the LKPD developed by Afkarina (2023). The objective of this study is to describe 1) the implementation of learning, 2) students' critical thinking skills, and 3) students' responses. This research includes a type of application research with a Pre-experimental design, the research target is 98 students in class X of SMAN 1 Pesanggaran, Banyuwangi. The parameters measured were 1) the implementation of learning, 2) students' critical thinking skills, and 3) students' responses. Research instrument was obtained from validation, critical thinking skills observation sheet, questionnaire and test sheets. The data from the research results were analyzed using a quantitative descriptive analysis method. The results of the study showed that 1) the implementation of learning carried out by teachers was very good with a score of 99.44%, 2) 95.19% of students had carried out critical thinking skills very well and achieved the completeness of indicators, 3) the response of students to LKPD was 95.69% or very positive. Abstrak Salah satu karakteristik dalam Kurikulum Merdeka yang tercantum dalam dimensi Profil Pelajar Pancasila adalah bernalar kritis. Hal ini selaras dengan tuntutan keterampilan abad ke-21 yaitu berpikir kritis. Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar menekankan pada pemilihan model pembelajaran. Salah satu alternatif pembelajaran yang dapat diimplementasikan yaitu pembelajaran yang menerapkan LKPD berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) untuk melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada materi perubahan lingkungan kelas X yang diadaptasi dari LKPD yang dikembangkan Afkarina (2023). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan 1) keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, 2) keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik, dan 3) respon peserta didik. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian penerapan dengan desain Pre-eksperimental, sasaran penelitian 98 siswa kelas X SMAN 1 Pesanggaran, Banyuwangi. Parameter yang diukur yaitu 1) keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, 2) keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik, dan 3) respon peserta didik. Intrumen penelitian ini diperoleh dari lembar keterlaksanaan, lembar observasi keterampilan berpikir kritis, lembar angket, dan lembar tes. Data hasil penelitiannya dianalisis mempergunakan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) keterlaksanaan pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan oleh guru sangat baik dengan skor 99,44%, 2) 95,19% peserta didik sudah menjalankan keterampilan berpikir kritis dengan sangat baik dan mencapai ketuntasan indikator, 3) respon peserta didik terhadap LKPD sebesar 95.69% atau sangat positif. Kata kunci: penerapan lembar kegiatan siswa berbasis problem based learning, keterampilan berpikir kritis, materi perubahan lingkungan.
