Abstract

ABSTRACT Hidroponik merupakan salah satu teknik untuk membudidayakan tanaman dengan menggunakan air sebagai media tanam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas kombinasi pupuk organik cair bonggol pisang dan daun kelor terhadap pertumbuhan dan produktivitas tanaman sawi pakcoy dengan metode hidroponik. Penelitian ini dilakukan di tempat budidaya Al Farm Hidroponik Karang Pong, Kabupaten Boyolali. Metode peneletian yang digunakan yaitu eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) menggunakan dua faktor yaitu volume pemberian POC (V0 = POC 0ml, V1 = POC 150ml, V2 = POC 200ml, dan V3 = POC 250ml) dan interval waktu pemberian POC (I1=3 hari sekali, dan I2 = 6 hari sekali). Data dianalisis menggunkan uji Kruskall Walis. Parameter yang diamati yaitu tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, dan berat basah tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rerata pertumbuhan tanaman pada parameter tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, dan berat basah tanaman terbaik adalah pada perlakuan V3I2 (POC 250ml, 6 hari sekali) dengan rata-rata pertambahan tinggi sebesar 8,1cm, jumlah daun sebanyak 10 helai, dan berat basah tanaman sebesar 7,75g. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian kombinasi pupuk organik cair bonggol pisang dan daun kelor efektif terhadap pertumbuhan sawi pakcoy pada semua parameter yaitu tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, dan berat basah tanaman. Abstract

The amount of organic household waste creates new problems in the environment, so there needs to be a solution to reduce waste. One of them is by making liquid organic fertilizer. The purpose of this community service is to provide training on the manufacture of liquid organic fertilizer from household waste. The method in this community service activity is to provide training on making POC from organic waste, conducting NPK POC tests, training and assistance in making POC product packaging at PCM Colomadu (Women Farmers Group (KWT) Berkah Tani 2). The result of this community service activity is that the KWT Berkah Tani 2 gains experience in making POCs so that they can help reduce organic waste in the Colomadu area.

Abstract

Water spinach (Ipomea reptans Poir) is a horticultural product that has high economic and nutritional value for the health of the human body. This research was conducted to determine the effectiveness of the combination of POC Azolla microphylla and tea dregs on the growth of water spinach plants. The research method used was an experiment with a completely randomized design (CRD) with 2 factors including the volume of POC administration which consisted of 4 levels (V0 = control, V1 = 150 ml, V2 = 250 ml, and V3 = 250 ml) and the time interval for giving POC. consists of 2 levels (I1 = 3 days, and I2 = 6 days). The parameters used in this study were plant height, number of leaves, and wet weight. Data were analyzed using Kruskal Wallis. The results showed that giving a volume of 250 ml of POC at intervals of 6 days gave the best results with an average plant height of 8.6 cm, 3 leaves and 0.86 gram fresh weight. Based on this, it can be concluded that the application of liquid organic fertilizer combination of Azolla microphylla and tea dregs is effective for the growth of water spinach plants.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the benefits of using a combination of POC A. microphylla and tea dregs on the growth and productivity of lettuce plants using the hydroponic method. The research method used was an experiment with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 2 factors including the volume of POC administration consisting of three levels (V1=150 ml, V2=200 ml, and V3=250 ml) and the time interval for POC administration consisting of level prayer (I1=once 3 days, and I2=once 6 days). The research results show that the combination of A. mycrophylla liquid organic fertilizer and tea dregs can effectively increase the growth of lettuce plants using the hydroponic method which includes the parameters of plant height, number of leaves and wet weight of the plant. The most optimal growth of lettuce was in the V2l1 treatment (volume of 200 ml POC given at three-day intervals) with an average plant height of 14.3 cm, an average increase in the number of leaves was 9 and the plant's wet weight was 0. 26 grams. In conclusion, applying liquid organic fertilizer with a combination of A. mycrophylla and tea dregs is effective on the growth of lettuce plants. Keywords: Tea Dregs, A. Abstract

This research aims to determine differences in growth and calcium levels of lettuce plants ( Lactuca sativa L.) after applying liquid organic fertilizer from rice straw and tea dregs. This research used an experimental method with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 3 replications and two factors, namely the dose of liquid organic fertilizer (P1 = 10 ml and P2 = 13 ml) and the time of application of liquid organic fertilizer (W1 = once every 5 days and W2 = every 7 days). The results of the research showed that all treatments had different effects on the growth and levels of lettuce plants. The treatment that has the most influence on the growth and calcium levels of lettuce plants is P2W2 (13 ml fertilizer dose and application time every 7 days). Abstract

The research aims to determine the effectiveness of the growth and phosphorus (P) content of green mustard plants (Brassica juncea L.) after administering POC from rice straw waste and banana stems at different time intervals and doses. The research method used was an experiment with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) type of two factors, including the dose of liquid organic fertilizer (D1 = 10 ml and D2 = 13 ml) and the time interval for fertilizer application (I1 = once 5 days and I2 = once 7 days) and 3 repetitions. The results were analyzed using a two-way ANOVA with a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that the treatment given had a significant effect on the growth of plant height, wet weight, root length, and phosphorus content but had no significant effect on the growth of the number of leaves. I1D1 treatment (5 day interval, dose of 10 ml) is the best treatment for plant growth and phosphorus content of green mustard greens (Brassica junea L.). Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of using a biolarvicide combination of soursop leaf extract and marigold flowers as an exterminator for mosquito larvae. This research included a laboratory experiment using a completely randomized 2 factorial design. The first factor is a combination of soursop leaf extract and marigold flowers, namely, a) 75%:25% (F1); b) 50%:50% (F2); c) 25%:75% (F3). The second factor is the treatment dose, namely, a) 1% (D1); b) 2% (D2); c) 2.5% (D3). Each factor was repeated 3 times. Data analysis uses a non-parametric test, namely Kruskal-Wallist. The results of the study showed that the soursop leaf and marigold flower extract formula 75%:25% was most effective against mosquito larvae mortality at a dose of 2.5% within an observation period of 6 hours. In conclusion, soursop leaf and marigold flower extracts are effective mosquito larva repellents. Keywords: Biolarvicide, Marigold Flowers, Soursop Leaves, Effectiveness, Mosquito Larvae

Abstract

Sengon-wood sawdust (SWD) is the waste generated from the sawmill industry and can be utilized as making ethanol and pulp because the waste contains high fiber. The material is processed through biodelignification by white rot fungi. The purpose of this study was to observe the growth of Phanerochaete chrysosporium (PC) and Trametes versicolor (TV) in the biodelignification process of wood sawdust Sengon with a single culture and mixed culture with the growth of white rot fungi macroscopic (spread of the mycelium, the color powder, texture powder) and microscopic (surface properties and thickness of mycelium) using Flat Digital Microscope and SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope). This research method used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with one factor: the type of white rot fungi; J1: Phanerochaete chrysosporium, J2: Trametes versicolor), J3: a mixture of PC + TV, with each 3 repetitions. The results showed that The growth of single-culture Phanerochaete chrysosporium in the process of biodelignification of sengon sawdust (SWD) is best compared to single-culture TV and co-culture PC+TV. The results of this study provide information on the selection of types of fungi that have the potential to release lignin, which facilitates the process of pulping or alcoholic fermentation for biofuels.

Abstract

The mustard plant (Brassica juncea L.) is loved by everyone because it has lots of nutrients and is also good for health. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of liquid organic fertilizer from rice straw and cow dung on the growth of mustard greens. The method used in this research was an experimental method with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 2 factors, namely the dose of liquid organic fertilizer (P₁ = 10 ml and P₂ = 13 ml) and the time of application of liquid organic fertilizer (W₁ = once every 5 days and W₂ = once every 7 days).  The results of research on liquid organic fertilizer from rice straw and cow dung can effectively accelerate growth in height, number of leaves and wet weight in mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.). The growth of mustard greens was very good in the P₂W₁ treatment (13 ml dose every 5 days) which produced mustard plants with an average height of 35.1 cm, an average number of leaves of 17.3, and an average fresh weight of mustard greens. average 165.3 grams.
