Abstract

A health worker must be able to balance various stressors obtained in the work environment because they have to provide professional services to patients. This requires personal factors that are inherent in nurses so that they are able to adapt to stressful conditions. Internal factors include the ability to withstand problems (resilience). The purpose of this study to determine and analyze the influence of stress levels and resilience on the performance of RSIA Aisyiyah Pekajangan health workers. This research is a quantitative research with a cross-sectional method. A sample of 129 respondents was obtained using Simple Random Sampling. After filling in informed consent, respondents filled out stress level questionnaires, resilience and performance questionnaires. After that, data processing and analysis was carried out using SPSS. The calculated F value is 10.642 > F table 3.91 and the sig is 0.000 < 0.05. From these results it can be said that simultaneously, the variables stress level (X1) and resilience (X2) influence the performance variable (Y). In the multiple liner regression test, the result was Y = 17.469+ 0.081X1 + 0.095X2 + e. The level of stress and resilience has a significant effect on the performance of health workers.

Abstract

Energi menjadi komponen penting bagi keberlangsungan hidup manusia, saat ini dan beberapa tahun kedepan, manusia masih akan bergantung pada sumber energi fosil. Disatu sisi, manusia akan dihadapkan pada situasi menipisnya cadangan sumber energi fosil dan meningkatnya kerusakan lingkungan akibat penggunaan energi fosil. Melihat kondisi tersebut, sangat diperlukan penelitian yang secara khusus untuk mencari, mengoptimalkan dan menggunakan sumber energi alternatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sumber energi alternatif yang murah dan mudah untuk diterapkan di kalangan masyarakat, khususnya masyarakat daerah terpencil di Indonesia yang belum dialiri oleh arus listrik dan juga bisa menjadi proses pembelajaran tentang pemanfaatan barang bekas (sampah) sebagai sumber energi alternatif yang terbarukan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan, bahwa total waktu pengujian pada 3 buah tersebut, masing-masingnya berlangsung selama 30 menit, dengan 5 kali pengujian di setiap buahnya dan terbagi selama 6 menit setiap pengujiannya, perolehan hasil nilai rata-rata tegangan dan arus yang dirangkai secara seri (pada jeruk nipis 2,07V & 13,1mA), (pada mangga 2,27V & 9,9mA) dan (pada alpukat 2,24V & 12,4mA).

Abstract

Penyakit menular akibat vektor nyamuk masih menimbulkan masalah kesehatan yang sangat serius dimasyarakat. Penyakit tersebut dapat terus meningkat dan menimbulkan masalah yang semakin besar akibat dari kurangnya pemahaman tentang pengendalian vektor nyamuk dimasyarakat. Untuk mengurangi akibat kasus tersebut, diharapkan semua kalangan masyarakat ikut berperan aktif termasuk siswa SMA dalam membantu pengandalian vektor nyamuk dirumah, sekolah, dan lingkungan sekitar. Kegiatan pengabdian ini melibatkan siswa SMAN 26 Maluku Tengah, dengan tujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan pada siswa tentang nyamuk dan pengendaliannya sehingga dapat mencegah penyebaran penyakit akibat vektor nyamuk. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pengukuran pengetahuan melalui Pretest dan Post-test mengenai siklus hidup, morfologi, bionomik, dan teknik pengendalian serta pengobatan penyakit yang ditularkan vektor nyamuk. Dari hasil pengabdian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa SMAN 26 Maluku Tengah yang terlibat kegiatan ini telah mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan dari rata-rata (41.95%) menjadi (79.38%) setelah diberikan edukasi terkait vektor nyamuk serta pengendaliannya. Dengan demikian diharapkan ini menjadi langkah awal agar dapat membantu dalam upaya pengendalian vektor pembawa penyakit dan menjadi salah satu pengendalian terpadu dilingkungan.

Abstract

Accurate temperature monitoring is essential in storage applications that require precise environmental control. This study aims to analyze the accuracy and stability of five digital temperature sensors—DHT11, DHT22, DS18B20, BMP085, and BMP280—by comparing their measurements with a mercury thermometer certified by the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) as the reference. Experiments were conducted in both indoor and outdoor environments using a NodeMCU ESP8266, with repeated measurements performed to evaluate consistency. The analysis was carried out using average measurement deviation and percentage error. The results show that the BMP280 provides the highest accuracy in indoor conditions, with an average deviation of 0.52 °C and a 2.0% error rate, whereas the DS18B20 demonstrates superior accuracy and stability in outdoor conditions, with deviations as low as 0.4 °C in several test points. The DHT11 and DHT22 remain suitable for simple applications with low precision requirements, while the BMP085 exhibits the lowest performance in terms of both accuracy and consistency. These findings offer practical guidance for selecting appropriate temperature sensors based on environmental conditions and application needs.

Abstract

The 2.3 GHz frequency band is one of the recommended spectrums for 5G deployment due to its favorable propagation characteristics and capability to support high data throughput. However, microstrip antennas operating in this band often suffer from limited bandwidth and radiation efficiency. This research aims to design and implement a 2×2 MIMO microstrip antenna using a square patch with a U-slot and an inset-feed technique to enhance bandwidth and radiation performance for 5G applications. The initial antenna dimensions were calculated using standard microstrip theory, followed by modeling and optimization using CST Microwave Studio Suite 2019. The optimized antenna was then fabricated and tested using a Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) and radiation pattern measurements. Experimental results show that the antenna operates around 2.3 GHz with bandwidth values ranging from 61 to 65 MHz, VSWR below 1.2, and an axial ratio of 1.23 dB, indicating circular polarization. Additionally, the measured gain reaches 6.98 dB. These results demonstrate that the U-slot modification combined with inset-feed implementation effectively improves antenna performance, making the design suitable for MIMO systems in 5G networks.

Abstract

Efficient, automated watering is crucial in modern agriculture. IoT (Internet of Things)-based automatic watering offers a solution to this challenge, particularly for peanut plants, which require precise and accurate watering. This research aims to design and test an IoT-based automatic watering system for peanut plants. The system is designed to optimize water use and increase efficiency in peanut cultivation. Identified problems include difficulty in determining the correct amount of water, water wastage due to manual watering, and inaccurate visual observations. This research focused on the design of the automatic water regulation system, the water pump control method, and the sensitivity of the soil moisture sensor in the system. Test results showed that the system performed well. The soil moisture sensor can detect water levels and automatically control the water pump. The water pump activates when soil moisture is below 30% and shuts off when it reaches 60%. There was no discrepancy between the sensor readings and manual calculations, demonstrating the system's accuracy.

Abstract

ABSTRAKSebuah perumahan sering sekali terjadi tindak kejahatan seperti pencurian, maka dibutuhkan sistem informasi keamanan untuk mencegah terjadinya kejahatan, sistem informasi keamanan berupa aplikasi keamanan dan laporan keamanan disebuah perumahan, aplikasi ini terdiri dari perangkat lunak sebagai penunjang dan perangkat keras yang dihubungkan dengan jaringan internet. Dalam proses terdapat throughput sebesar  0-7,07 kbps dengan delay yaitu 1 detik untuk masuk kesetiap menunya, di aplikasi ini warga dapat melaporkan semua peristiwa ke petugas yang sedang berjaga, melalui gadget secara interaktif, warga sebagai sumber data, untuk mengirim informasi ke pusat data. Kata Kunci :  Smart City, Perumahan, Sistem Informasi.

Abstract

HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) is a virus that infects cells in the body and weakens the human immune system, making it more susceptible to various diseases. Meanwhile, the symptoms of the disease arising from HIV itself are referred to as AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome). Approximately 50% of people with AIDS in Indonesia are adolescents. Until now, HIV/AIDS has ranked second in East Java province. HIV/AIDS is classified as a dangerous disease because of the risk of death. Unfortunately, there is no treatment method or vaccine that could prevent this disease. This monitoring program to prevent the development of dangerous health cases such as HIV/AIDS is very helpful for local governments. Along with the development of information technology, the emergence rate of new HIV/AIDS cases can now be forecasted using machine learning as a monitoring tool to support. This machine learning-based monitoring program works with past data for statistical analysis. In this study, the methods used are Kalman Filter, Recurrent Neural Network, and Decision Tree. The Kalman Filter is a type of filter method that is used to predict the state of a dynamic, stochastic, linear, discrete system. A Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) is a development of a Neural Network. RNN deals with input sequence/time-series data by individual sector at each step and preserves the information it has captured at previous time steps in a hidden state. A Decision Tree is one of the classic tree-based prediction methods. The best error value (RMSE) achieved by each method is 0.0885 for the Kalman Filter, then for the Recurrent Neural Network method achieved 0.198, and the Decision Tree method successfully achieved 0.0287.

Abstract

Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Lakipadada di Tana Toraja memiliki peran strategis sebagai rumah sakit rujukan utama dalam penanganan bencana, seperti tanah longsor dan kecelakaan massal. Sosialisasi mengenai Standar Operasional Prosedur Tim Penanggulangan Bencana dilakukan dengan tujuan meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan serta efektivitas tenaga medis dan non-medis dalam menghadapi situasi darurat. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada 30 Desember 2024 di aula RSUD Lakipadada dengan metode ceramah, diskusi, serta pretest dan posttest untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rata-rata skor dari 7,09 pada pretest menjadi 8,33 pada posttest, yang menandakan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan peserta mengenai tugas, tanggung jawab, dan prosedur penanggulangan bencana. Peserta didominasi oleh tenaga perawat yang memiliki peran penting sebagai ujung tombak pelayanan rumah sakit. Meskipun tim telah memahami SOP dengan baik, ditemukan beberapa kekurangan seperti minimnya pelatihan triage dan keterbatasan ketersediaan alat pelindung diri. Oleh karena itu, direkomendasikan peningkatan pelatihan rutin, penyediaan alat evakuasi, serta evaluasi dan penyempurnaan SOP secara berkala. Kegiatan sosialisasi ini diharapkan dapat memperkuat kesiapsiagaan dan kemampuan rumah sakit dalam memberikan pelayanan kesehatan berkualitas kepada masyarakat, khususnya dalam kondisi bencana. Selain itu, kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan agenda tahunan agar tim senantiasa siap dan terlatih menghadapi situasi darurat.

Abstract

Introduction: Nosocomial infections remain a major patient safety issue, particularly in Emergency Departments (ED) with high patient flow. Hand hygiene is the most effective preventive measure; however, compliance among healthcare workers and patient families at the Emergency Department of Hospital Nacional Guido Valadares (HNGV) remains low due to limited facilities, inadequate education, and high workload. Objective: To improve hand hygiene compliance among healthcare workers and patient families through a multimodal intervention as part of nosocomial infection prevention efforts in the ED of HNGV. Method: This residency program with anylisis fishbone, SWOT, USG are implemented assessment, intervention, and evaluation stages. Compliance was measured using direct observation based on the WHO Five Moments before and after intervention. Interventions included structured education, improved hand hygiene facilities, visual reminders, and audit-feedback mechanisms. Results: Pre-intervention compliance was 48% among healthcare workers and 42% among patient families, with an overall rate of 45%. Post-intervention results showed significant improvement: healthcare worker compliance increased to 82%, family compliance to 76%, and overall compliance reached 79%. The greatest improvement occurred in the moments before patient contact and after touching patient surroundings. Conclusion: The multimodal intervention effectively enhanced hand hygiene compliance in the ED of HNGV. Sustained improvement requires ongoing education, adequate facilities, and regular monitoring to support a strong patient safety culture and reduce nosocomial infection risks.
