Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the maximum revenue ornamental plant business in CV. Kembang Asri in the city of Palu. The number of respondents interviewed in this study as many as 9 out of 6 respondents consisted of the owner and two employees CV. Kembang Asri. Method used in determining the sample is purposive. The analysis used in this research is the analysis of linear programming with the aim to maximize the revenue palm plant species that red palm, palm and palm yellow daughter, the results showed revenue received CV. Kembang Asri for three types of plants i.e. red palm, palm and palm yellow daughter Rp. 5,950,649 Based on the results of the data analysis of the three types of ornamental plants: Plant red palm, palm and palm yellow daughter can generate maximum revenue of Rp. 5,982,524. The combination of plant type to get the maximum is by selling palm daughter that initially only 75 trees to 76 trees for trees yellow palm tree sold decreased by 54 to 52 trees and to plant red palm unchanged.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the wide of area and the commodity of sub sector base of plantation crops in Parigi Moutong Regency. This research was conducted in Parigi Moutong. This location was selected by purposive sampling with considering that the Parigi Moutong Regency has high contribution on the level of plantation crops in central Sulawesi Province. Data used is secondary data as data of production data and the wide of plantation crops of 2011 to 2015. Analysis method used is locatin quotient (LQ) analysis. The result of this research showed that the average of LQ based on the wide of area, cocoa commodity is as a base commodity LQ>1 and the value is 1,52, the value of LQ based on the production of three commodity cloves, LQ 1.31, the value of coconut commodity is LQ 1.46 and cacao commodity is LQ 1.58.

Abstract

This research was conducted in home industry of “Sumber Urip Jamur” in Palu City Central Sulawesi on April 2015. The aim of the research is to know the feasibility of oyster mushroom cultivation in “Sumber Urip Jamur” in Palu. The determination of respondent has done as purposive method. The number of respondents were 3 respondents, they are the head and the exchequer of “Sumber Urip Jamur”. Data of this research comprise of primary and secondary data. The data were analyzed using business feasibility analysis of ROI and JWPM. The result of this research showed that the income of oyster mushroom is Rp. 6.000.000 and the profit is Rp. 2.719.757 and ROI produced is 19%. The business capital will return after 2,74 year of 17 months because the production of oyster mushroom improved from 6 to 10 kg per day while the payback period is 2,74. Business of oyster mushroom is feasible cultivated with range of score of R/C of 1,82.

Abstract

Research on profit maximization farming seaweed to determine the maximum advantage of  seaweed cultivation in Lalombi Village, Sub District of South Banawa, Donggala Regency, Determine the allocation the resources to maximize profits. Determination of the respondents selected the Systematic Random Sampling method. The method of sampling is that only the first element of a randomly selected sample, were subsequently selected elements systematically according to a pattern. Number of samples by taking 50% of the population of 60 farmers, in order to obtain a sample of 30 respondents who seek seaweed. The analysis used in this study is the analysis of Linear Programming. The analysis showed that the maximum benefit is obtained by of seaweed cultivation farmers in Lalombi village the amount of production as much as 21.173 kg /planting season which amounted to Rp 63.519.070/Planting     Season. Resource allocation based on the cultivation of seaweed research is to increase the profits of 423,26 HOK Labor, as 33.876, 84 Kg and Seed Capital amounting to Rp 84.692.100.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the use of input and determine the level of efficiency of use of inputs of land, seed, labor, fertilizer Phonska, ZA, Pearl fertilizer, and fertilizer to the production of KCl Watermelon in Maranatha Village District Biromaru Sigi Sigi. The research was conducted at Maranatha Village District Biromaru Sigi Sigi. Respondents were 36 people, which was conducted by the census. Analysis tool used is the Cobb-Douglass Production Function and Efficiency Analysis. The results showed simultaneously all the independent variables (X) effect nayata the dependent variable (Y). partial land area (X1), seeds (X2), labor (X3), fertilizer Phonska (X4), ZA (X5), fertilizer Pearl (X6), and KCl (X7) significantly affect the production of watermelon in the Village Maranatha District Biromaru Sigi Sigi sig value 0.000 <0.01 at ? 1%. Efficiency analysis results show the value of the variable k land, seed, labor, fertilizer Phonska, ZA, fertilizer Pearls, and KCl show number > 1, meaning that all inputs used in the production of watermelon farming in Maranatha Village District Sigi Sigi Biromaru in terms of the price of each input production efficiency declared yet.

Abstract

Usaha Abon UKM Mutiara di Kota Palu merupakan salah satu usaha rumah tangga yang  memproduksi abon ikan dan abon sapi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis alternatif pengembangan usaha antara abon sapi dengan abon ikan pada UKM tersebut. Berdasarkan perhitungan menggunakan MPE diperoleh nilai untuk abon sapi sebesar 7.018, sedangkan abon ikan 4.917. Hasil dari perhitungan tersebut  menyimpulkan  bahwa usaha abon ikan lebih potensial  untuk dikembangkan. Total nilai yang diperoleh dari perhitungan faktor internal dan faktor eksternal, yaitu untuk faktor internal memiliki nilai sebesar 3,45 dengan skor kekuatan 2,61 dan skor  kelemahan  sebesar 0,84. Kondisi ini menunjukkan faktor kekuatan yang dimiliki oleh UKM Mutiara lebih besar dari faktor kelemahan, sedangkan untuk faktor eksternal memiliki nilai sebesar 3,00 dengan skor peluang 2,61 dan skor ancaman sebesar 0,39, hal tersebut menunjukkan faktor peluang yang dimiliki oleh UKM Mutiara lebih besar dari faktor ancaman, dapat disimpulkan bahwa alternatif strategi yang digunakan UKM Mutiara yaitu menggunakan strategi SO (strenghts opportunities), dengan menggunakan kekuatan yang dimiliki untuk memanfaatkan peluang yang ada.

Abstract

This research aimed to develop the good strategy in the development of seaweed cultivation. The research was implemented in Lalombi Village, Sub District of South Banawa, Donggala Regency, Province of Central Sulawesi.  About 60 people are active as the seaweed farmers which 6 farmers is taken from respondent and 2 people from relevant agencies so overall there are 8 people as respondents with the determination of respondent were calculated using judgment sampling, the respondents chose the most right to provide information needed. Respondents are determined based on the assumption that they could still represent the population characteristics of seaweed farmers. Based on the results of the research identified from internal factors, there are five strengths and five weaknesses, and for the external environmental factors there are five chances and five threats. Combination value IFE is 2.76 and value of EFE is 2.25 in the IE matrix shows that the position of the business in V cells, the growth through horizontal integration, an activity to develop the business by way of utilizing land resources more leverage and increase value by be processed seaweed derived products. Strategy development of seaweed cultivation in the village lalombi is optimize production, provide counseling and gradually expand seaweed cultivation area.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the marketing mix (product, price, promotion and distribution) and level of customer satisfaction of UKM Pengais Jaya Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) in the AmpibaboVillage Sub District Ampibabo DistrictMoutong Parigi. Data were analysed with Fisher 's exact probability test analysis (p) and chi square (x2). The results showed a relationship of the marketing mix and customer satisfaction level by using the confidence interval of 95 % or ? = 0.05 which obtained marketing mix (product , price, promotion and distribution ) in UKM Pengais Jaya affect the level of consumer satisfaction. Either partially (individual) or colectively, so marketing mix had a significant relationship to consumer satisfaction, especially the marketing mix (product and price).

Abstract

This study aims to analyzed Internal Factor Evaluation, External Factor Evaluation, SWOT and Grand Strategy Matrices. The results showed that the strengths of eel business development in Palu were experience in the eel business, regular customers and suppliers as well strategic business location. The weaknesses were that the collectors/traders/middlemen don?t yet know how to grow out glass eels and captive breeding is not yet possible, business management is still family-oriented and production capacity is still limited. Opportunity factors for eel business development in Palu were high market demand (domestic and foreign), eel resources are still abundant and eel prices remain high. While threat factors were weaknesses in legislation/regulation on eels, environmentally damaging capture methods, and changes in climate that affect the availability of eels. The strategy for eel business development in Palu City was in quadrant I, which is a Strength-Opportunity (S-O) or aggressive strategy

Abstract

The utilization of the fishery potency of Tojo Una-Una Regency has not been optimum resulting in the low income of fisherman. The research was aimed to optimize capture fisheries management (economic and ecology sustainability) Data used in this study included Maximum Sustainable Yield (MSY) and primary data analyzed by using Linear Goal Programming Method. Results showed that the optimal number of catch fishery effort unit operated in the marine area of Tojo Una-Una Regency consisted of 197 gillnet units, 132 liftnet units, 235 handline units, 33 roll line units and 16 purse seine units. The management of this fishery effort would meet the targets of fisherman maximum income which was IDR 17.56 billion, domestic income which was IDR 780 million, fish consumption which was 6.775,92 ton and also could employ 32,87% labour. The use of catch fishery resources reached a level of 99-100% (indicated overfishing).
