Abstract

Telah banyak penelitian makroskopik dan mikroskopik dalam pembelajaran fisika. Salah satu materi yang jarang di eksplor untuk melihat representasi internal mahasiswa adalah konveksi pada air dalam konteks makroskopik dan mikroskopik. Tulisan ini memberikan sesuatu yang baru yang jarang diceritakan pada penelitian sebelumnya. Mahasiswa akan dipetakan dalam tipe representasi internal yaitu tipe naif (N), surface (S), matching (M) dan deep (D). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan representasi internal mahasiswa dengan model PBL. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa PBL dapat meningkatkan representasi internal mahasiswa. Dengan demikian, maka PBL dapat direkomendasikan untuk meningkatkan representasi internal mahasiswa dan mengurangi miskonsepsi. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah masyarakat cenderika dapat mengadopsi pembelajaran yang ada untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran fisika.

Abstract

 AbstrakPendidikan dengan kualitas yang bermartabat dan baik dimulai dari terbentuknya karakter mulia peserta didik. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pembinaan dan pembentukan karakter siswa (taruna) jurusan keperawatan di SMK Negeri 13 Malang. Penelitian menggunakan statistik deskriptif, untuk mengungkap respon sekolah terhadap program Full Day School (FDS) dalam rangka pembinaan dan pembentukan karakter siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa respon sekolah (kepala sekolah, guru pembina) termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik, sedangkan instruktur TNI AL termasuk dalam kategori baik. Perolehan nilai karakter keperawatan siswakelas X yaitu 13,63% kategori memuaskan; 31,82% kategori sangat baik; dan 54,54% kategori baik. Dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwa sekolah dan siswa sama-sama memberikan respon yang positif terhadap kegiatan FDS. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk memperoleh informasi tentang output karakter lulusan di dunia kerja atau di masyarakat.Kata kunci: full day school, karakter, peserta didik Abstract Education with dignity and good quality starts from the formation of a noble character learners. Research using descriptive technique to uncover the response of FDS program in the framework of development and character formation of the student. The result showed that the response of the school (principals teachers) included in the very good category, while the Navy instructors included in good category. The character values of nursing students of class X is 13,63% which is a statisfactory category; 31,82 as very good category; and 54,54 has good category. Thus concluded that the shcool and students a like responded positively to FDS activities. Future students recommended to obtain information about the character output of graduates in the workplace or in the community as an input to evaluate this program.Keywords: full day school, character, student

Abstract

Many future studies have been developed by scientists today in the form of methods, models, strategies, and techniques in improving student learning outcomes that are oriented to psychology and the development of students' intelligence. One of the latest innovations in learning offered in this study is the homogeneity psycho cognition (HPC) strategy. The research objective was to develop the latest learning strategies in physical education, sports, and health learning. This development research uses a 4D model consisting of four stages: define, design, develop, and disseminate to produce products in the form of an HPC learning strategy. This study involved 115 elementary school students in several sample schools in Ambon City as participants. This study found that the HPC learning strategy had been developed following the relevant development directions and procedures. The validation of the HPC strategy by experts indicates that the HPC strategy is feasible to implement with due regard to minor revisions. The results of small and medium-scale trials show that the HPC strategy can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The ability of students to ask or answer questions from the teacher is generally not based on reasoning. Therefore, we need a way to help the development of student reasoning by using empowering thinking through questions (PBMP). Therefore, students gain knowledge from the teacher and are actively involved in the science learning process. This study aimed to determine students' science learning outcomes using the PBMP model with the assistance of the Inshot video. This type of research is quasi-experimental. The participants in this study were 70 students, with 35 for the experimental group and 35 students for the control group. The results showed that learning outcomes with the PBMP strategy were higher with an average score of 81.00 compared to conventional ones with 57.05. Meanwhile, the ANCOVA test results showed a significant difference between student learning outcomes using the PBMP and conventional models. Thus, the PBMP model combined with the Inshot video can be recommended for improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Students use different styles or ways of receiving and managing information during learning. VARK learning style was developed based on the physiological aspect of students in the form of sensory modalities. This survey research was conducted at 30 elementary schools in Ambon City. The data of student learning was obtained by filling out the learning style questionnaire developed by Fleming. The results showed that 88.7% of students used a learning style (unimodal) and 11.3% of students combined more than one learning style (multimodal). For the unimodal learning styles, kinesthetic is most prevalent in male and female students with a percentage of 58.6%, whereas visuals are least found with a percentage of 6%. The study also revealed that multimodal learning styles were found at all bimodal, trimodal, and quadmodal combinations. The more blend of learning style, hence the frequency of determination of student learning style even less.. The combination of multiple unimodal learning styles with large numbers will result in multimodal learning styles with large numbers.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze peer tutoring in inclusive classes with character education approaches for elementary students. The target of this study were 30 teachers, 525 students, and 98 disabled students from nine elementary schools in East Sumba Regency. This research focused on changing the character of students with special needs or not using peer tutoring methods that are modified with various learning techniques. The results showed a change in the character of students with special needs and not with the peer tutoring method. Thus, peer tutoring can be recommended in improving learning skills and forming student character. Future studies are expected to show how peer tutoring shapes students' emotional intelligence in inclusive classes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui variasi genotip dan jarak genetik sapi Madura di Kabupaten Sampang dan Balai Besar Inseminasi Buatan (BBIB) Singosari berdasarkan teknik RFLP. Digesti DNA genom dengan enzim EcoRI dan PstI menghasilkan fragmen DNA dengan ukuran yang bervariasi baik pada induk, pedet, dan pejantan unggul dengan kisaran antara 10000 bp sampai 980 bp dan 10000 bp sampai 1250 bp. Analisis MVSP1 dengan metode UPGMA untuk jarak genetik ditemukan bahwa sampel sapi Madura berada dalam 2 cluster dan 1 outgroup. Persentase jarak genetik berada pada rentangan 0 sampai 25%. (Kata kunci: Variasi genotip, Jarak genetik, Sapi Madura, RFLP)

Abstract

Guru masa depan wajib menguasai ICT dan menggunakannya untuk mengembangkan iklim pembelajaran yang konstruktivis. Salah satu bentuk penguasaan ICT yang ditunjukkan guru adalah mengembangkan media pembelajaran dengan mengaplikasikan software tertentu. Pelatihan pembuatan video pembelajaran dengan menggunakan software sparkol videoscribe ini adalah untuk mengembangkan kompetensi pedagogis guru dalam mendesain atau membuat video pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran tematik di sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah ceramah dan workshop, yang melibatkan tim sebagai narasumber. Ceramah terkait dengan konten pelatihan berupa  prinsip desain perangkat pembelajaran termasuk media pembelajaran. Konten dan prosedur ini dilakukan untuk mentransmisikan pengetahuan atau wawasan peserta, sebelum dilatih, sedangkan workshop bertujuan untuk melatih keterampilan peserta untuk membuat video pembelajaran. Hasil pretes dan posttes yang dicapai oleh peserta menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan peserta dalam mendesain perangkat pembelajaran dan media pembelajaran. Terkait dengan kemampuan mendesain perangkat pembelajaran, dari yang sebelumnya 90% menggunakan desain pembelajaran pada buku guru meningkat menjadi 80% kemampuan guru dalam mendesain perangkat pembelajaran mandiri yang relevan dan benar baik dalam menentukan tujuan instruktusional maupun metode serta model pembelajaran sesuai sintaknya. Selain itu, kemampuan mendesain media pembelajaran dari yang semula 80% menggunakan media visual dari buku atau charta serta 20% menggunakan media visual dari internet, meningkat menjadi 70% yang mendesain video pembelajaran dengan menggunakan sparkol videoscribe.

Abstract

Many new learning models in the 21st century have emerged in improving students' academic skills, one of which is research-based learning (RBL). This pedagogic and constructivist model connects research and learning in improving students' critical thinking skills (CTS). The results of the study show that studies in empowering students' CTS using RBL are still limited. Therefore, exploration and deeper measurement of CTS with the RBL model were carried out through this study. The purpose of this study was to improve students' CTS using the RBL learning model. The results of the ANCOVA test showed that there was an effect of the RBL model in improving students' CTS. Descriptive data also shows that the average value of CTS is 72.70 using RBL, while students who take part in learning using conventional models show an average value of critical thinking skills of 58.30. Thus, RBL can be recommended in increasing the CTS of elementary school students in science learning.
