Abstract

This study investigates the influence of work-life balance (WLB) and spiritual intelligence on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), with organizational commitment as a mediating factor, in the context of Islamic banking. The competitive nature of the banking industry, particularly for Islamic banks, requires effective human resource management to enhance organizational performance and employee contributions beyond formal roles. Employees' ability to balance professional and personal lives and their spiritual intelligence are critical factors in fostering positive organizational behaviors. Using a purposive sampling technique, 139 married employees with more than one year of service. This criterion was chosen to ensure the respondents had sufficient experience and personal stability to reflect the dynamics of WLB and organizational commitment. The results reveal significant positive relationships between WLB, spiritual intelligence, and OCB, both directly and mediated by organizational commitment. These findings offer valuable insights for human resource management in Islamic banking to strengthen employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.

Abstract

Potensi olahan mangut ikan manyung sebagai daya tarik Kota Samarang akan ditingkatkan menjadi Sentra pengolahan ikan asap dan menjadi salah satu destinasi wisata kota Semarang. Produksi baik secara kuantitas maupun kualitas hasil ikan asap khususnya ikan asap mangut yang sangat besar. Akan tetapi terkendala teknologi pengelolaan hasil produksi dan pengamasan produk akhir yang masih sederhana atau konvensional. Ikan asap yang sudah matang dan siap dijual hanya dibungkus plastik biasa, mengakibatkan ikan asap yang dikemas masih banyak mengandung uap air dan ketahanan produk hanya bertahan kurang lebih 3-5 hari. Kemasan bagi para pengrajin kurang mendapat perhatian penuh karena produk-produk ikan asap yang mereka hasilkan sudah ada pembeli yang menampungnya. Semua produk ikan asap yang dihasilkan pada hari itu semua sudah ada yang membeli. Hal ini yang menyebabkan mitra kurang memperhatikan fungsi dan tujuan kemasan. Para pengarajin kurang meperhatikan cara mengkemas produk olahannya karena mereka beranggapan bahwa setiap hari produksi ikan asap langsung dikirim ke pembeli.Kemasan merupakan salah satu solusi untuk menarik perhatian konsumen karena berhadapan langsung dengan konsumen. Pengemasan juga merupakan proses yang penting pada teknologi pangan. Kemasan utama produk pangan bertujuan untuk mencegah atau mengurangi kerusakan, melindungi produk dari bahaya pencemaran, dan meningkatkan nilai ekonomi produk.

Abstract

This research analyzes the influence of leadership, motivation, and training on team member performance. The population in this study was all PT employees. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Kendal Branch Office with 94 respondents. The research method used is quantitative research. Data was collected using a Google form questionnaire with four variables: leadership, motivation, training, and team member performance. Data processing results are in the form of respondent descriptions, variable descriptions, validity test results, reliability test results, F test results, coefficient of determination test results (R2), and hypothesis test results. The results of this study show that leadership does not affect team member performance, motivation has a positive and significant effect on team member performance, and training has a positive and significant impact on team member performance. Conclusion: There is a significant influence between motivation and training on team member performance. However, leadership does not affect team member performance. Abstract

This research aims to analyze how big the influence of transformational leadership, organizational culture, competence is on the performance of PT employees. Bhineka Mitra Sejati Semarang City. This research involved 93 employees from PT Bhineka Mitra Sejati as the population. The sampling method used was purposive sampling with the criteria that the respondent had worked for at least 1 year at PT Bhineka Mitra Sejati. The number of samples taken in this research was 82 respondents, in accordance with the application of Roscoe's theory. Data analysis in this study used respondent description tests, variable descriptions, validity tests, reliability tests, F tests, coefficient of determination (R²) tests and hypothesis test results. The results of this research show that transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The conclusion is that there is an influence of transformational leadership, organizational culture, and competency on employee performance. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh motivasi, lingkungan kerja, dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan secara kuantitatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini merupakan seluruh karyawan PT Politama Pakindo sebanyak 100 responden. Data yang dianalisis merupakan data primer dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner. Hasil olah data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini meliputi deskripsi responden, deskripsi variabel, uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji F, uji koefisien determinasi (R²) dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa motivasi berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan, lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan, dan kepuasan kerja tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

The findings of this study offer valuable implications for marketers and businesses looking to optimize their strategies on TikTok. This emphasizes the need to harness the effect of celebrity to shape Gen Z’s purchase intention. The research explores the interplay between these variables, providing insight into the complexity of Gen Z’s decision-making process in the digital era and social media marketing. It also sheds light on the mechanism through which trust mediates the relationship between celebrity endorsement and purchase intention. Understanding the pivotal role of trust can guide the development and more effective and credible marketing campaigns in the realm of live-streaming TikTok. The respondents of this research were the Gen Z that live in Semarang. This research indicates that celebrity endorsement has a positive and significant effect on trust. Also, celebrity endorsement and trust have a positive and significant effect on purchase intention. Trust was found capable to mediate between celebrity endorsement and purchase intention.

Abstract

Competition in the world of banking, especially in people's economic banks, requires the development of quality human resources to increase employee capabilities and employee contributions outside formal roles. Employees' ability to balance professional, personal life, and spiritual intelligence is a factor in fostering good corporate behavior. The main purpose of this research is to find out whether person-organization fit and work motivation influence performance with satisfaction as a mediating factor, in the banking context, especially the People's Economic Bank. This research took the population at PT BPR Artha Mranggenjaya Demak, which has 87 employees. These criteria were chosen to ensure respondents have sufficient experience and personal stability to reflect the company's suitability for improving performance, as well as providing a sense of employee satisfaction. The research results state that person-organization fit and work motivation influence employee performance and cannot be mediated by job satisfaction. These findings show that job satisfaction is not an important factor for human resource development in companies, but company management needs to pay attention to employees so that they are satisfied with what has been assigned by the company.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan, motivasi, dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan di Badan Pendapatan Daerah Kota Semarang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 110 karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode sensus dengan mendistribusikan kuesioner kepada 110 responden secara online. Data yang dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan SPSS 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan. Motivasi memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Disiplin kerja memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Organizational Culture and Work Engagement on Organizational Commitment, mediated by Job Satisfaction. The research employs an associative approach involving 104 respondents who are employees of the Regional Health Office in Demak Regency, Central Java, Indonesia. The population consists of 139 employees, and the sample of 104 was determined using Roscoe's formula (1975). The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, with the criterion that employees must have worked for more than two years. The data were processed using SPSS version 23, and the analysis techniques included respondent and variable descriptions, validity and reliability tests, F-test, R² test, and t-test. The findings show that Organizational Culture has a positive influence on Organizational Commitment. Work Engagement also has a positive influence on Organizational Commitment. Additionally, Organizational Culture positively affects Job Satisfaction, and Work Engagement positively influences Job Satisfaction. Furthermore, Job Satisfaction has a positive influence on Organizational Commitment. Job Satisfaction also mediates the relationship between Organizational Culture and Organizational Commitment, as well as the relationship between Work Engagement and Organizational Commitment.

Abstract

Employee performance plays a vital role in determining organizational success. This study examines the influence of emotional intelligence, organizational climate, and organizational commitment on employee performance. The research population comprised 100 employees from Mega Baja Semarang and Bogor, Indonesia. One hundred questionnaires were distributed, and 92 valid responses were analyzed. Data were processed using SPSS 25. The findings reveal that emotional intelligence has no significant effect on employee performance, while organizational climate has a positive and significant effect. In contrast, organizational commitment shows no significant influence on employee performance. These results highlight the critical role of organizational climate in enhancing employee performance.
