Abstract

Tanaman kelor di desa Kalasey Dua banyak ditemukan di pekarangan penduduk namun masih digunakan sebatas tanaman pagar dan dianggap sebagai penghijauan lingkungan. Hal ini disebabkan masyarakat pada umumnya belum mengetahui manfaat daun kelor untuk kesehatan terutama dalam meningkatkan kadar hemoglobin. Adapun tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk melakukan edukasi dan demonstrasi pembuatan teh celup daun kelor untuk meningkatkan kadar hemoglobin pada remaja putri Di Desa Kalasey Satu dan Kalasey Dua Kec. Mandolang Kab. Minahasa. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dibagi menjadi dua kelompok yaitu: 1) Kelompok sasaran yaitu memberikan edukasi tentang manfaat teh celup daun kelor pada remaja putri, kader dan ibu PKK, 2) Kelompok mitra yaitu memberikan edukasi tentang manfaat teh celup daun kelor dan pemutaran vidio serta demonstrasi pembuatan teh celup daun kelor di Desa Kalasey Satu dan Kalasey Dua, Kecamatan Mandolang, Kabupaten Minahasa. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata umur remaja putri adalah usia 17 tahun dan yang tertua yaitu usia 23 tahun. Kemudian tingkat Pendidikan menunjukkan bahwa Sebagian besar telah memiliki Pendidikan menengah yaitu 16 orang. Pemberian teh celup daun kelor kepada remaja putri selama 14 hari terjadi peningkatan kadar hemoglobin dari 10,9 menjadi 11,4, dan secara rata-rata kadar hemoglobin masih dalam kategori anemia. Kesimpulan yaitu peningkatan kadar hemoglobin dari 10,9 menjadi 11,4 menunjukkan bahwa teh celup daun kelor memiliki efek positif dalam meningkatkan kadar hemoglobin. Namun, kadar hemoglobin rata-rata remaja putri yang mengikuti penelitian tersebut masih berada di bawah 12,0, yang merupakan batas normal kadar hemoglobin pada remaja putri

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menanamkan kepercayaan diri pada ibu-ibu dan kader kesehatan untuk melakukan pijat bayi di rumah dan meningkatkan pengetahuan mereka tentang pijat bayi, sehingga mampu menerapkan keterampilan ini di Desa Kalasey II, Kecamatan Mandolang, Kabupaten Minahasa. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah Program Pengembangan Desa Mitra, yang diadakan pada tanggal 31 Mei 2024, dari pukul 09:00 hingga 15:00 WITA di Balai Desa Kalasey Dua. Kegiatan ini berjalan sesuai rencana, dengan 15 peserta, termasuk kader dan ibu-ibu yang memiliki bayi. Kegiatan ini difasilitasi oleh perangkat desa dan sekretaris desa. Sesi edukasi dan pelatihan pijat bayi diadakan untuk 15 peserta, terdiri dari kader dan ibu-ibu yang memiliki bayi. Setelah pelatihan, semua kader (100%) memiliki pengetahuan yang baik. Di antara ibu-ibu yang memiliki bayi, sebelum pelatihan, mayoritas (58%) memiliki pengetahuan yang kurang, tetapi setelah pelatihan, mayoritas (58%) mencapai pengetahuan yang baik. Dalam hal kategori keterampilan, setelah pelatihan, mayoritas kader (75%) menunjukkan keterampilan yang cukup. Untuk ibu-ibu yang memiliki bayi, sebelum kelas, mayoritas (67%) memiliki keterampilan yang kurang, tetapi setelah pelatihan, mayoritas (58%) menunjukkan keterampilan yang baik. Kesimpulannya, terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kepercayaan diri ibu-ibu dan kader kesehatan untuk melakukan pijat bayi di rumah, yang didukung dengan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mereka tentang pijat bayi di Desa Kalasey II, Kecamatan Mandolang, Kabupaten Minahasa

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the factors correlating to the increase of Voluntary Counseling and Testing (VCT) of pregnant women at Papusungan Community Health Center, Bitung City. The research type used was analytic observation research design and cross-sectional approach carried out on 70 pregnant women resided in work area of Papusungan Community Health Center with research instrument was in the form of a questionnaire consisted of 10 knowledge questions, 20 questions on the role of medical staff and 6 questions about the motivation of pregnant women. Data analysis used chi square test with meaning value 95% (0.05). Knowledge: the respondents with less knowledge about VCT were 53.4% (37 out of total 70 respondents), the respondents stated that the medical staff role was good with amount 58,6% (41 out of 70 respondents), and the respondents with good motivation was 62,9% (44 out of total 70 respondents). Then, pregnant women who did VCT were 65.7% and those who did not do VCT was 34.3%. There is significant correlation between knowledge and the medical staff role to increase VCT visits of pregnant women, but there is no significant correlation between their motivation and the increase of VCT visit

Abstract

Background : Failure to give breast milk by the mother, among others, the mother feels tired due to the delivery process, the milk does not come out, the milk production is low, or the mother reasons that she has never given exclusive breastfeeding. Katuk leaves (Sauropus Androgynus L'Merr) is a lactagogue plant that can increase milk production. Purpose : Knowing the effect of health promotion of katuk leaves to increase milk production on the knowledge of postpartum mothers in the Kauditan Health Center, North Minahasa Regency. Method : This research design uses the method Quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest to compare before and after the experiment was carried out with 33 samples, taking samples by means of non-probability sampling. Data collection used a questionnaire containing a number of written questions. The experiment used counseling methods for postpartum mothers. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon test with significance. Results : shows that health promotion of katuk leaves to increase milk production can affect the knowledge of postpartum mothers in the working area of ​​the Kauditan Health Center, North Minahasa Regency. Recommendations for postpartum mothers can apply by consuming katuk leaves to help increase milk production.

Abstract

Background : Uterine involution during the puerperium must go well so efforts are needed to accelerate uterine involution, one of which is consuming sweet potato leaves. Sweet potato leaves have nutrients that can help mothers reduce involution more quickly, and can also increase milk production. An increase in the hormone oxytocin can reduce the height of the uterine fundus. Objective : Knowing the effect of giving sweet potato leaves to reduce uterine involution in postpartum women at the Sifra Langowan maternity clinic. Methods : This research usesQuasi-experimental design with a plan one-group pretest – posttest design. The sample of this research was postpartum mothers from the 1st to the 7th day as many as 15 respondents, determined by means purposive sampling. Data was collected using an observation sheet which contained a number of indicators for evaluating decreased uterine involution in writing which were filled in before and after the intervention was given. Data analysis used the Paired Sample T-Test. Results : Test results Paired sample T-Test There is an effect of sweet potato leaves on reducing uterine involution in postpartum women at the Sifra Langowan maternity clinic. recommendations for postpartum mothers to consume sweet potato leaves regularly during the postpartum period to help reduce uterine involution

Abstract

Background: massage woolwich and the marmet technique is a way of massaging and expressing milk to stimulate the hormones prolactin and oxytocin in the mother after giving birth so that milk production can be launched. The author is interested in doing research with the title of massage effectiveness woolwich and the marmet technique on the smoothness of breast milk production in postpartum mothers. Objective: This research aims to examine literature, articles, and research documents identifying the effectiveness of Massagewoolwich and the marmet technique for smooth milk production in postpartum mothers. Method: The type of research in this study is metadata analysis using a literature review about the effectiveness of massage woolwich and the marmet technique for smooth milk production in postpartum mothers. Searching for research articles in several databases using certain keywords from 2015 to 2020. The search results obtained 8 articles that meet the criteria, so it is good to analyze further. Critical analysis of 8 articles was done based on design, population and sample, treatment, parameters, findings, and conclusions. Results: The literature review in the article it was found the effectiveness of massage woolwich and marmet technique to facilitate breast milk production in postpartum mothers. Each treatment showed significant changes with massage woolwich and the marmet technique can increase the smoothness of breast milk production in postpartum mothers.

Abstract

Background: The prevalence of anemia in teenagers is 32%, meaning that 3-4 out of 10 teenagers suffer from anemia. This is influenced by suboptimal nutritional intake habits, inappropriate food choices and lack of physical activity.. Objective: This research is to identify LILA, HB Levels and Nutritional Status of Level 1 Students of the D3 Midwifery Study Program, Manado Health Polytechnic. Method: This research is quantitative research using a cross sectional design. The research population was Diploma III Midwifery Study Program students with a total research sample of 60 people. Sampling was carried out using a purposive sampling technique with inclusion criteria, namely that young women had menstruated and were willing to become research subjects by signing informed consent. The data was analyzed using the Chi-Square statistical test. Results: there are more respondents with Normal LILA than those with KEK, HB levels are mostly normal. And the nutritional status of students based on BMI measurements is mostly normal, but there are still students with nutritional disorders. Statistical tests show that there is a relationship between KEK and the nutritional status of young women, there is no relationship between HB levels and nutritional status in teenagers. Recommendations for young women to consume food with balanced nutrition to meet nutritional requirements so that they can avoid CED and consume blood supplement tablets to avoid anemia, according to the Government program. Young Women take 1 Fe tablet once a week for 1 year.
