Analysis of Factors Affecting Maize Produstion in Southeast Aceh Regency. Kabupaten Southeast Aceh Selected for this study on the grounds that the district is corn production areas in the province. Samples selected district Subdistrict Lawe Alas, Badr and Bukit Pine as corn production centers firs, second and third in Southeast Aceh Regency. The population in this study was 120 randomly selected maize farmers spread over three district of samples and 9 samples of selected villages in the study area. The model used data analysis aided by SPSS software version 17 in data processing. The results of this study are : obtained value of R2 (coefficient of determination) = 0.992, F value obtained = 2831.918 (synchronously very significant influence), t test (test separately the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable) can be concluded : land area (X1) very significant effect on maize (Y) and labor (X2) / fertilizer (X4) / pesticide (X5) Significantly affects corn production (Y). while seed (X3) does not significantly affect maize production (Y). PENGARUH KUALITAS SUMBER DAYA MANUSIA (SDM) TERHADAP EFEKTIFITAS KERJA DAN IMPLIKASINYA TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN PELAKSANA DI PT. PERKEBUNAN NUSANTARA II (Persero) Ananda Lubis, Fajar Rezeki; Junaidi, Junaidi; Lubis, Yusniar; Lubis, Syaifuddin

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh kualitas sumber daya manusia terhadap efektivitas kerja dan implikasinya terhadap kinerja karyawan pelaksana di PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero).Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, jenis penelitiannya adalah survey.Sampel ditentukan dengan metode random sampling sebanyak 260 orang. Pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial, tingkat pengetahuan dan keterampilan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap efektivitas kerja karyawan, sedangkan sikap terhadap pekerjaan berpengaruh tidak signifikan. Nilai pengaruh yang paling tinggi adalah variabel keterampilan, artinya keterampilan berpengaruh lebih dominan terhadap efektivitas kerja karyawan pelaksana, dengan total pengaruh sebesar 62,74% (pengaruh langsung sebesar 56,7%). Secara simultan, kualitas SDM (tingkat pengetahuan, sikap terhadap pekerjaan dan keterampilan) secara langsung dan tidak langsung berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap efektivitas kerja karyawan pelaksana. Nilai pengaruh kualitas SDM terhadap efektivitas kerja adalah sebesar 70,17% dengan pengaruh langsung sebesar 58,01%. Efektivitas kerja karyawan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan pelaksana di PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero), dengan total pengaruh sebesar 80,28%, artinya perubahan kinerja karyawan pelaksana dipengaruhi oleh perubahan efektivitas kerja sebesar 80,28%. Efektivitas kerja karyawanmerupakan variabel intervening variabel kualitas SDM terhadap kinerja karyawan pelaksana, karena terjadi peningkatan pengaruh variabel kualitas SDM terhadap kinerja karyawan sebesar 10,11% jika melalui variabel efektivitas kerja.

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of organizational culture, work climate, and welfare facilities on job satisfaction and its implications for employee performance in PT. Langkat Nusantara Kepong. This research method uses a quantitative approach, the type of research is a survey. The sample was determined by a random sampling method of 226 people. Data collection through questionnaires. Data were analyzed using path analysis. The results showed that partially, organizational culture, work climate and welfare facilities had a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction. The highest influence value is the variable of organizational culture, meaning that organizational culture has a more dominant influence on employee job satisfaction, with a total effect of 36.40% (direct effect of 31.03%). Simultaneously, organizational culture, work climate and welfare facilities directly and indirectly have a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction. Employee job satisfaction is an intervening variable of organizational culture, work climate and welfare facilities to employee performance, because there is an increase in the influence of organizational culture, work climate and welfare facilities on employee performance by 16.12% if through job satisfaction variables.

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of training programs, work ethics, and employee satisfaction on employee performance at the Directors' Office of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III. This research method uses a quantitative approach, the type of research is a survey. The sample was determined by a simple random sampling method of 92 people. Data collection through questionnaires. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that partially and simultaneously, the variables of the training program, work ethic and job satisfaction had a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees in the Office of the Directors of PTPN III Medan. The coefficient of determination of 0.515 means that the effect of the training program, work ethic and job satisfaction on changes in employee performance in the Office of Directors of PTPN III Medan is 51.5%.

This study aims to determine and analyze the differences and the effect of production on the income of plasma palm oil farmers who are independently managed and managed in the core of PT. Pinago Utama. This research method uses a quantitative approach, the type of research is a survey. The sample was determined by 60 stratified random sampling methods. Data were analyzed using the independent sample mean difference test and simple linear regression. The results showed that there was an insignificant difference in the production of oil palm smallholdings managed by nucleus and those managed independently by farmers. However, there are significant differences in farmers' incomes, production costs and the cost of production of plasma oil palm estates managed by the nucleus and those managed by farmers independently. The cost of production of the nucleus estate managed by the nucleus is Rp. 576.65 / kg 39.17% lower than smallholdings which are managed independently by farmers (Rp. 947.95 / kg). Changes in production obtained by farmers have a significant effect on changes in income, both for estates managed by the nucleus and those managed independently by farmers. Thus there is a difference in the effect of production on farmers' income by almost 50% (49.88%)

The aims of study to identify and analyze the role of human resources (individual characteristics, quality, and employee competence) on the company's performance at Indonesia Trading Company of Medan Regional. This research using a quantitative approach with survey on the type of research. The sample was determined by simple random sampling method, 51 people. The data collection through questionnaires. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The research results shows that simultaneously, the variable of individual characteristics, employee quality and employee competence have a positive and significantly effect to the performance at Indonesia Trading Company of Medan Regional. The determination coefficient value of 0.616 indicates that the influence of individual characteristics, employee quality and employee competence on the change of company performance at Indonesia Trading Company of Medan Regional is 61.6%. Partially, there are positive and significantly influence of employee quality and employee competence to company performance at Indonesia Trading Company of Medan Regional. While the variable of employee characteristic have a non significantly effect to company performance Indonesia Trading Company of Medan Regional.

This study aims to determine the level of income and feasibility of farming orange in Karo and Langkat Districts. This research was conducted in the Bukit Mas Village in the Besitang District and in the Garingging Village in the Brand District of the Karo Regency. Karo Regency is a producer of Matang Oranges or direct consumption, while in Langkat Regency it can be harvested and juice harvested. This research was conducted by the method of Simple Random Sampling with the number of samples taken each 30 farmers who are experienced in the field of citrus plants. Sampling was carried out on April 2018. The method of analysis using the calculation of Net Present Value (NPV) and B / C Ratio. The results showed that the citrus farming in Karo and Langkat Districts was financially feasible because and continued to be developed, referring to the B / C ratio calculation obtained that the two regencies had values greater than 1, where Karo District was 3.13% and Langkat District 4 , 76%.

The aims of study to analyze the feasibility of cow farming center in Batubara Regency from financial aspect and non financial aspect, and to analyze the pattern of development of cow farming center in Batubara Regency. This research using a quantitative approach with survey on the type of research. The sample was determined by simple random sampling method, 50 people. The data collection through questionnaires. Data were analyzed using financial feasibility and non financial feasibility. The results showed that the cow farming center in the Batubara Regency from the investment criteria of business activities is feasible, the R / C value is 1.61. The cow farming center in Batubara Regency based on nonfinancial aspects is feasible in terms of market, social, economic, and cultural aspects as well as environmental aspects. Meanwhile, from the technical aspects, management and legal aspects, still need to be addressed. The development of cow farming center in Batubara Regency can be done with the pattern of community livestock with the system of integration to the surrounding areas by arranging and cooperation between various related parties, especially the plantation, that is: the area integration of cow-palm; cow-rubber integration areas; and the integration of cow-food crops.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the performance and constraints of the Kelurahan in the implementation of the Kelurahan cleanliness empowerment program in Kelurahan Tanjungbalai Kota IV. This research was conducted qualitatively by taking informants from the Kelurahan, TP-PKK officials and the community. The results showed that the performance of Tanjungbalai City IV Urban District of North Tanjungbalai District in implementing the cleanliness empowerment program of the Kelurahan was said to be good, because the Kelurahan had formed TP-PKK to create a Clean and Healthy Behavior (PHBS) program with 10 activities and in accordance with the duties and responsibilities in the framework of empowerment Kelurahan. If seen from the accountability dimension of the apparatus that is already quite good with the commitment and seriousness of the Village officials in carrying out their duties and functions in terms of implementing the Tanjungbalai City IV Urban Empowerment program. Judging from the good enough responsibility this can be seen from the ability of the Village in minimizing complaints submitted by the community. And the responsiveness of the Tanjungbalai City IV Kelurahan apparatus is quite good, as seen from the commitment and actions of the Kelurahan officials that are very intense in conducting socialization to the community so that environmental sustainability activities can bring a clean and safe environment,

Paddy rice production needs to be improved because rice is the staple food of the community. Batu Bara Regency is one of the rice granaries in North Sumatra so it is very important to make various efforts to increase rice production. Among the factors that can increase rice production are the availability of subsidized fertilizer and the price of subsidized fertilizer according to the Highest Retail Price (HET).The main purpose of this study is to determine the effect of subsidized fertilizer availability and the price of subsidized fertilizer in accordance with the Highest Retail Price (HET) on paddy rice production in Batu Bara Regency. The research method is quantitative method with 100 respondents of rice farmers in Batu Bara Regency.Based on the results of the research, it is known that the availability and price of subsidized fertilizer simultaneously and partially have a significantly effect on the production of lowland rice in the Batubara Regency. The effect of variation in availability and price of subsidized fertilizer on rice production is 66.7%..The availability of subsidized fertilizer at Batubara Regency is 94.56%. Partially, the availability of subsidized fertilizer has a negative effect on the production of lowland rice in the Batubara Regency. The condition is caused by some farmers who get subsidized fertilizer more than needed. The price of subsidized fertilizer partially has a positive effect on paddy rice production, meaning that the price of subsidized fertilizer is still in the level of farmers' abilityÂ
