Abstract

Bina keluarga balita yaitu sebuah program pemerintahuntuk menjalankan pembinaan keluarga dalam menghasilkan tumbuh kembang balita yang secara optimal dalam jalur pendidikan luar sekolah. Seseorang ibu merupakan sekolah yang paling pertama bagi anak yang pasti menjadi landasan pola asuh dan pembelajaran. Anak dapat menumbuh kembangkan kecerdasan yang dimiliki anak tersebut. Hal yang perlu diperhatikan secara khusus adalah problrm prmbinaan dan pemngembangan sedini mungkin. Peneliti mempunyai tujuan dari Kader BKB nantinya dapat menjalankan tugasnya yang secara sukarela dan dapat menyebarluaskan pengetahuan serta orang tua balita memiliki keterampilan di RW 08. Pendekatandalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang meiliki 6 informan terdiri kader dan orang tua. penelitian ini meguji keabsahan data dan menggunakan teknik kreadibiltas,dependabilitas, konfimanbilitas, dan transferbilitas. Pengumpulan data dengan dilakukan dengan obeservasi partisipan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisi data yaitu data collection,reduction, data display,verifikasi data, dan conclusion. Pada hasil penelitian ini peran kader sangat optimal dalam fungsi edukasi orang tua.

Abstract

PKBM Budi Utama is a non-formal education with an equality program package A, package B, and package C. New learning habits using the internet that were carried out after the COVID-19 pandemic depended heavily on learning media. Learning motivation of students has a relationship with the learning process carried out between educators and students. Purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between online learning media and the learning motivation of package C students at PKBM Budi Utama Surabaya. The research approach is quantitative and correlational research type. The test results show a correlation coefficient of 0.999, which is a very strong relationship between the x variable and the y variable. The significance test uses the Spearman rank with the result of a p-value of 0.000 which is then compared to (0.000 <0.05) from the above test H0 is rejected, Ha is accepted. The conclusion is a relationship between online learning media and the learning motivation of package C PKBM Budi Utama Surabaya students.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe and examine the institution's marketing strategy, describe and examine the institution's efforts to reach new students, describe and examine the supporting and inhibiting factors of the institution's marketing strategy in an effort to reach new students at PKBM Kak Seto Surabaya. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. Data collection techniques used are in-depth interviews, participant observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data condensation, data display, verification and conclusion. Data validity techniques used are credibility, dependability, confirmability, and transferability. The research results show that there are 2 stages of the institutional marketing strategy at PKBM Kak Seto Surabaya, namely planning and implementation. The planning stage includes Market Segmentation Market Identification, Product Differentiation, Marketing Communications, Institutional Services. The implementation phase is the implementation of marketing mix elements namely product strategy, price strategy, location strategy, promotion strategy, human resource strategy, physical evidence strategy, and process or service strategy. The institution's efforts to reach new students are to improve quality, expand promotion and provide services. The supporting factors are Kak Seto's big name, flexible learning, various program choices, comfortable atmosphere, good quality, attractive promotions, and supportive infrastructure. The inhibiting factors are discrimination in equality school graduates, and the community is not familiar with non-formal education.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the application of tutors' pedagogic competence in increasing learning participation of regular class C package C students at SPNF SKB Mojokerto Regency. This research uses a type of descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The results showed that the pedagogical competence of tutors in increasing the learning participation of regular class C package learners applied by all tutors is educational and dialogical learning, it is proven that learners dare to adapt. Tutors have an understanding of students to determine how to teach to be more precise and minimize errors. 5 tutors organize remedial to provide opportunities for learners to develop their potential. Student learning participation includes asking questions about material that is not understood, answering questions given by the tutor, expressing opinions or refutations about the amount of material delivered by the tutor, doing structured assignments for 11 subjects in class well and making material notes for 11 subjects.

Abstract

This study contains an analysis and description of the role of the tutor in carrying out his role in motivating the students of package c distance learning program at Homeschooling Kak Seto Surabaya. Homeschooling was originally an independent learning model supervised and guided by parents. Over time the home learning system or homeschooling was adapted to become an institution. This educational institution only focuses on carrying out a homeschooling learning system by increasing the learning methods used to adapt and help meet the needs of students. Currently tutors do not only play a role in teaching science, but tutors also play a role in providing motivation so that students can carry out the learning process in a conducive manner. This type of research approach uses descriptive qualitative methods. In this study, researchers gathered information from 11 research informants, who qualified to provide information to support research. The results of this study found that the tutor when carrying out his role in increasing the learning motivation of package c students was in accordance with the 10 indicators of the tutor's role. Then it was also found that in increasing students' learning motivation a conducive learning environment, the role of parents, and also a high interest in learning from these students were needed. In addition, when carrying out their role in increasing students' learning motivation, tutors find that they have several obstacles such as distance, and also learning environment conditions that are not conducive for students.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to describe and analyze the role of leadership in enhancing the personality competence of Paket B equality tutors at PKBM Widyatama Lamongan, as well as to analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors. Method: This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation and in-depth interviews. Results: The research results indicate that strong and visionary leadership is highly influential in improving the competence of Paket B equality tutors at PKBM Widyatama Lamongan. Novelty: The novelty of this research lies in its focus on the specific context of non-formal education, particularly Paket B equality programs, where the role of leadership has been less explored. Leaders at PKBM Widyatama Lamongan fulfill roles as educators by fostering a positive learning culture, managers, administrators by planning training programs to improve tutors’ pedagogic and andragogic competence, supervisors, innovators, and motivators. Supporting factors include PKBM management support and adequate resource provision. Inhibiting factors include the lack of tutor participation and budget limitations. The transformational leadership theory serves as a critical foundation, where leaders inspire and motivate tutors through effective communication and constructive feedback, creating a conducive learning environment.

Abstract

Program Pelatihan Barbershop merupakan jenis kecakapan vokasional yang mendukung warga belajar untuk mengembangkan kemampuan mereka agar lebih terampil, dan siap terjun dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Kecakapan vokasional di UPTD SPNF SKB Sidoarjo menghasilkan hasil sikap wirausaha yang ada pada warga belajar, yang dijadikan sebagai kepercayaan untuk fokus pada diri sendiri, hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari belajar warga yang membuka usaha baru dan menyampaikan hasil dari mengikuti Pelatihan Barbershop kepada pelanggan secara langsung. Pelaksanaan program pelatihan dan tujuan pelatihan juga sudah sesuai, yaitu untuk membekali warga belajar suatu keterampilan agar mereka mampu mandiri dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat salah satunya melalui Program Pelatihan Barbershop. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 1 tutor Pelatihan Barbershop, Kepala SKB Sidoarjo, dan 5 orang perwakilan dari 18 warga belajar yang mengikuti Program Pelatihan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi.

Abstract

Orang dengan gangguan jiwa (ODGJ) sering kali mengalami hambatan dalam menjalani aktivitas sehari-hari, baik secara fisik maupun sosial, yang berdampak pada menurunnya kemandirian mereka. Balai PMKS Sidoarjo menyelenggarakan program Activity Daily Living (ADL) sebagai upaya rehabilitasi sosial untuk membantu ODGJ agar dapat hidup lebih mandiri dalam lingkungan sosial. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan implementasi program ADL dalam meningkatkan kemandirian sosial ODGJ di Balai PMKS Sidoarjo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan meliputi wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi. Proses analisis data mencakup tiga tahapan, yaitu kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi program ADL berjalan secara sistematis dengan pendekatan komunikasi, penyediaan sumber daya, sikap pelaksana, dan struktur birokrasi yang mendukung. Program ini terbukti dapat meningkatkan kemandirian ODGJ, baik dalam aspek emosional, perilaku, maupun nilai. Aspek emosional tercermin dari kemampuan ODGJ dalam mengendalikan emosi, menjadi lebih tenang, serta menunjukkan kestabilan psikologis. Aspek perilaku terlihat dari peningkatan keterampilan hidup sehari-hari seperti makan, mandi, berpakaian, dan melakukan kegiatan ibadah secara mandiri. Sedangkan aspek nilai terlihat dari kemampuan ODGJ dalam memahami dan menerapkan norma sosial yang berlaku, seperti sopan santun, kerja sama, serta membedakan perilaku yang baik dan buruk.

Abstract

The ageing process often brings challenges in physical, psychological and social aspects that can affect the quality of life of the elderly. Non-formal education with a geragogy approach offers a significant solution to improve the quality of life of older people through learning. This article uses the literature review method to explore the concept, relevance, benefits and challenges in the application of geragogy to promote the quality of life of the elderly. The results show that the geragogy approach can reduce social isolation, improve cognitive capacity, and empower older adults socially and psychologically. However, geragogy implementation faces challenges such as financial barriers, age discrimination, and limited programme evaluation. This research highlights the importance of policy support and inclusive learning environments to maximise the positive impact of geragogy in improving the quality of life of older adults.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of transformational leadership strategies in developing life skills training programs for Paket C students at PKBM Suka Madju. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis to explore leadership dynamics and their impact on educational outcomes. The novelty of this study lies in examining transformational leadership within nonformal education, an area that has received limited attention compared to its application in formal education institutions. The findings indicate that transformational leadership significantly enhances program effectiveness by increasing student participation, aligning the curriculum with labor market needs, and integrating interactive, technology-based teaching methods. However, several challenges remain, including limited financial resources, low student motivation, and insufficient public awareness of the importance of nonformal education. To address these issues, PKBM Suka Madju continues to strengthen its institutional management, improve teacher development programs, and expand partnerships with industry and government agencies. The study highlights the need for sustained leadership development and collaboration to ensure the long-term success of life skills training programs in nonformal education. Keywords: Transformational leadership, life skills training, nonformal education, Paket C, PKBM Suka Madju.
