Abstract

Evaluation of service satisfaction is essential for decision-making related to efforts to improve service quality. PT. BKZ’s expedition service conducts customer satisfaction evaluations as part of its competitive strategy. The satisfaction assessment for PT. BKZ's import goods delivery service is carried out using five criteria: Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, Empathy, and Tangibles. The evaluation process employs the Profile Matching method, which functions to identify the competency gap between actual data values and the predefined profile benchmarks. The questionnaire was distributed online and filled out by PT. BKZ customers. The results indicate that the implementation of the Profile Matching method is effective in supporting decision-making related to service improvement and enhancement strategies at PT. BKZ. The three lowest-scoring criteria that require follow-up action are Empathy (38), Assurance (38.65), and Responsiveness (39.3). These aspects must be improved, particularly among frontline staff at PT. BKZ. The next policy direction should focus on maintaining current staff performance and providing motivation to foster continuous improvement. This can be achieved by offering performance-based bonuses to employees with the highest service satisfaction evaluation scores and providing training programs for those with the lowest performance scores.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence learning effectiveness in the SAP-based Enterprise Resource Planning courses at Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII). Based on the Theory of Embodied Learning, this study hypothesizes that activeness, level of suitability, perceived immersion, motivation, and technology support positively affect learning effectiveness in the SAP-based ERP courses. A quantitative method with a survey method was used to collect data from 371 students across six study programs who had taken the SAP-based ERP courses. The results of multiple regression analysis showed that physical involvement, level of suitability, motivation, and technology support had a significant positive effect on the learning effectiveness of SAP-based ERP courses. However, perceived immersion had a significant and negative effect on learning effectiveness in the SAP-based ERP courses, which is contrary to the formulated hypothesis. These findings contribute to ERP curriculum design by emphasizing the importance of active participation, aligning course materials with software features, fostering motivation, and ensuring adequate technology infrastructure to improve learning effectiveness in the SAP-based ERP courses.

Abstract

Most Chinese-heritage parents will teach their children Mandarin as early as possible. Parents will do various things such as providing additional Mandarin tutoring or enrolling their children in schools that teach Mandarin. Unfortunately, many children become bored and unwilling to learn Mandarin because Mandarin has a complex language structure, starting from writing, pronunciation, and grammar. This study aims to develop a Mandarin language learning application based on augmented reality that incorporates gamification elements to increase children's learning motivation. The development method used is waterfall. The results of this study show that with the existence of a gamified Mandarin language learning application based on augmented reality, Mandarin learning becomes more tangible, thus it is expected to facilitate increasing children's motivation to learn Mandarin.
