Abstract

Ikan Sidat merupakan salah satu ikan yang memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggi. Permintaan pasar yang tinggi dan topografi sungai besar di wilayah Lampung mendukung migrasi ikan katadromus ini. Sejauh ini pemenuhan pasar mayoritas berasal dari penangkapan dari alam, maka upaya pembudidayaan ikan ini terus diupayakan. Salah satu permasalahan yang muncul yaitu sulitnya melakukan rekayasa media yang menyerupai habitat asli sehingga tingkat efektifitasnya terhadap respon pertumbuhan masih rendah. Rekayasa media dengan sistem resirkulasi yang dilengkapi filter dari material yang tepat di dalam media budidaya penting untuk diujikan untuk melihat efektifitasnya terhadap respon pertumbuhan. Penelitian bersifat eksperimental dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan berupa material filter berbeda dan 3 ulangan. Hewan uji yg digunakan Elver sidat berukuran 1,4-gram dengan padat tebar 5 ekor/liter. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa respon pertumbuhan terbaik ikan sidat adalah pada perlakuan P2 (filter dengan material medium dakron, bio ball, pasir malang) dengan bobot akhir 10,72 gram, walaupun nilai SR pada perlakuan P2 ini tidak sebaik nilai SR di perlakuan 3 (filter dengan material media dakron, bio ball, arang aktif)

Abstract

The availability of broodstock in vannamei shrimp cultivation, especially in hatchery activities, is generally the main requirement. The lack of availability of good quality broodstock is an obstacle in shrimp hatchery activities. One of them is a decrease in egg hatchability which can affect the number and quality of Nauplius produced. Maturation is the initial stage in the process of prospective parent vannamei shrimp becoming mature gonads. Apart from that, the aim of maturation is to maximize growth into adult parent shrimp so that prospective parent vannamei shrimp are ready for spawning. Data collection through observation, documentation, and direct participation in the field in parent maturation activities. The average fecundity produced by each parent during the research ranged from 150-250 thousand eggs. Meanwhile the Hatching Rate was 78.60-79.91%, in December it was 68.37-72.71%. Fertilization Rate (FR) 60-75, Survival of vannamei shrimp in November 91.5%. December 89.5%. The results of water quality measurements, the temperature in the broodstock maturation rearing tank at PT Bibit Unggul Kalianda is around 28-30 oC and the salinity is around 30 ppt.

Abstract

The Marble Molly fish (Poecilia sphenops) and the Sunkist Balloon Molly (Poecilia sphenops) are one of the fish that are popular in Indonesia. It is hoped that crossing sunkist mollies and marble mollies will produce unique colors and new patterns, with diverse and unique colors so that public interest will once again be high in keeping ornamental fish, especially mollies. The methods used start from preparing tools and materials, preparing spawning tanks and larval rearing tanks, selecting mature gonad male and female parents with the characteristics of the male having a gonopodium on his stomach while the female does not have it with the age of the male and female being at least 4 months before they can be spawned. The cross is carried out with a ratio of males and females, namely 5 males and 10 females in each spawning tank, there are 6 spawning tanks with 3 tanks representing the cross between a marbled male and a Sunkis female and another 3 tanks with a Sunkist male and a marbled female, then the best data is taken from the 2nd following treatment. The results obtained were the emergence of 3 color variations and 5 pattern variations with unique and varied colors and patterns.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of dragon fruit peel meal utilization in the diet to improving the color quality of freshwater crayfish (Cherax quadricarinatus). This research was done from May to June 2022 at the Lampung State Polytechnic Fisheries Laboratory. The test animals used were freshwater crayfish with an average weight of 6.7 6.8 g/crayfish and a stocking density of 7 crayfish/aquarium. Feeding with a feeding rate of 3% twice a day. The experimental design used was a completely randomized design with 5 treatments and 3 repetitions. The treatments were A = commercial feed (control), B = 5% dose, C = 10% dose, D = 15% dose, E = 20% dose. The parameters observed in this study were an increase in color quality and water quality. The results of this study indicate that the difference in the dose of red dragon fruit peel meal in the diets can have a significant effect on the color brightness of freshwater crayfish (86.01 in claws and 87.59 in Chepalotorax to teslon). The conclusion of this research is that supplementation of red dragon fruit peel meal mainly at a dose of 10% in the feed can improve the color quality of freshwater crayfish from brown to bluish color.Keywords:Dragon fruit peel meal UtilizationDietColor qualityCherax quadricarinatus

Abstract

Vannamei shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) holds significant economic importance in Shrimponesia as a prominent shrimp commodity. The post-larval stage often encounters challenges, primarily due to the shrimp's limited ability to adapt and survive in a new environment. Stocking density is a crucial factor influencing the growth and production performance of vannamei shrimp culture. This study aims to assess the optimal stocking density for achieving optimal growth and survival in L. vannamei. A 40-day maintenance trial was conducted at UD Mina Rahayu Kalianda to investigate the impact of different stocking densities on water quality in the maintenance media. The study utilized containers with varying stocking densities: treatment A (1 shrimp/L), treatment B (1.5 shrimp/L), and treatment C (2 shrimp/L), each with three replications. The findings revealed survival rates (SR) of 83.33% for treatment A, 62.78% for treatment B, and 58.33% for treatment C. Mean Body Weight (MBW) values were recorded as 1.2592 g/shrimp for treatment A, 1.1216 g/shrimp for treatment B, and 0.7728 g/shrimp for treatment C. Average Daily Growth (ADG) results showed 0.0313 g/shrimp for treatment A, 0.0279 g/shrimp for treatment B, and 0.0192 g/shrimp for treatment C. Based on the study, the recommended stocking density for white vannamei shrimp is 40 shrimp/L, demonstrating improved growth and survival rates for this species.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh mitra Ulam Gading Mas adalah harga pakan yang dari tahun ke tahun meningkat, sehingga meningkatkan biaya produksi. Sementara daya beli masyarakan akan menurun jika harga jual ikan gurame dinaikkan, mengingat kondisi pandemi yang berdampak pada ekonomi. Di sisi lain, pemerintah telah menggalakkan penanaman indigofera di Pringsewu sebagai pakan ternak. Saat ini masyarakat belum mengerti pemanfaatan tanaman tersebut untuk pakan ikan. Diseminasi dan bimbingan teknis aplikasi teknologi hidrolisis tepung daun indigofera sebagai bahan baku pakan perlu dilakukan. Bahan yang mudah didapatkan dan murah, namun dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan ikan ketika disuplementasikan ke pakan. Pemanfaatan daun indigofera dengan aplikasi teknologi ini berpeluang besar untuk meningkatkan produktivitas budidaya karena dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan ikan dan harga pakan yang dihasilkan lebih ekonomis. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan pembuatan pakan serta mampu mengapikasikan teknologi hidrolisis enzim selulose pada tepung daun indigofera yang akan disuplementasikan pada pakan ikan gurame. Abstract

Pondok Pesantren Bahrul Ulum terletak di Jl. Insinyur Sutami, Desa Bauh Gunung Sari, Sekampung Udik Lampung Timur, berjarak 49 Km dari kampus Politeknik Negeri Lampung. Pondok ini mempunyai santri sebanyak 237 orang yaitu 116 santri laki-laki dan 121 santri perempuan. Pondok pesantren mempunyai lahan sawah seluas kurang lebih satu hektar yang dikerjakan oleh koperasi memproduksi beras untuk kebutuhan pangan santri. Lahan sawah pondok pesantren ini mempunyai sumber mata air yang sangat baik dan terus mengalir sepanjang tahun. Debit airnya mampu mengairi sawah serta sumber air untuk kolam ikan. Permasalahan dari kegiatan Pertanian dan Perikanan di pesantren ini yaitu: (a) Pemanfaatan lahan sawah masih belum optimal, hasil panen sawah masih rendah yaitu dibawah 3 ton per hektar. (b) Air kolam budidaya ikan mengandung unsur hara yang baik untuk budidaya sayuran, pondok pesantren Bahrul Ulum belum memanfaatkannya sebagai media tanam akuaponik. (c) Pengelola koperasi Rizquna bahrul ulum yang bertugas mengembangkan pertanian dan perikanan pondok pesantren belum mempunyai pengetahuan dan pengalaman untuk melakukan kegiatan integrasi pertanian dan perikanan berupa teknologi minapadi dan akuaponik. Berdasarkan analisis permasalahan yang ada di Pondok Pesantren Bahrul Ulum, solusi yang ditawarkan adalah a. Penerapan sistem integrasi budidaya padi di sawah dengan ikan (minapadi), b. Penerapan sistem integrasi budidaya ikan dengan sayuran (akuaponik) di kolam budidaya ikan c. Pelatihan dan pendampingan produksi pangan langsung di sawah dan di kolam Pondok Pesantren Bahrul Ulum. Metode yang dipakai dalam pencapaian tujuan PKM ini adalah: (1). Penguatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman pada sumberdaya manusia (SDM) yang membidangi pertanian dan perikanan yaitu melalui pelatihan aquaculre integrated system berupa teknologi minapadi dan akuaponik. (2). Peningkatan kompetensi praktek minapadi di lahan sawah. (3). Peningkatan kompetensi praktek sistem akuaponik di kolam.

Abstract

Kelompok Bina Teluk Bahari merupakan kelompok usaha masyarakat pesisir yang berada Kota Tanjung Karang, Bandar Lampung. Anggota kelompok ini sebagian besar adalah keluarga nelayan dengan penghasilan yang bergantung pada hasil tangkapan harian dan aktivitas ekonomi pesisir berskala kecil, seperti pengolahan hasil laut dan budi daya ikan dalam skala terbatas. Salah satu binaan dari KUB Bina Teluk Bahari ini adalah wanita kelompok nelayan. Masyarakat nelayan di masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan struktural dan sosial, seperti ketergantungan pada musim tangkap, rendahnya akses terhadap teknologi pasca panen, serta belum optimalnya pengelolaan limbah perikanan. Salah satu potensi yang belum banyak dimanfaatkan adalah limbah perikanan hasil tangkapan seperti kepala ikan, tulang, dan jeroan, yang umumnya dibuang begitu saja. Padahal, limbah tersebut memiliki kandungan nutrisi tinggi yang berpotensi diolah menjadi bahan baku pakan ikan fungsional. Metode pengabdian yang dilakukan adalah survey, penyuluhan dan pelatihan pembuatan pakan ikan laut fungsional yang tidak hanya ekonomis tetapi juga meningkatkan imunitas dan pertumbuhan ikan laut. Setelahnya, evaluasi dilakukan terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kelompok wanita nelayan agar mampu mengolah bahan lokal menjadi pakan ikan bernutrisi tinggi dan ramah lingkungan. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah terdapat peningkatan kemampuan dan ketrampilan mitra dalam pembuatan pakan fungsional dengan teknologi pengolahan limbah perikanan menggunakan oven dengan suhu optimal dan hidrolisis enzim selulose atau penambahan probiotik pada bahan nabati lokal. Produk pakan fungsional ikan laut berbasis limbah perikanan dan bahan nabati lokal telah dihasilkan sehingga dapat meningkatkan pendapatan dan berperan dalam menguatkan ketahanan pangan nasional dan perekonomian pesisir.
