Abstract

Wabah pandemi COVID-19 yang menimbulkan masalah dalam kehidupan masyarakat. Antara lain di bidang pendidikan yang mengakibatkan proses belajar mengajar dilaksanakan dari rumah dengan menggunakan smartphone, sehingga motivasi belajar siswa menurun. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hasil evaluasi pengaruh penggunaan smartphone terhadap motivasi belajar siswa masa pandemi COVID-19. Merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif, mengumpulkan data menggunakan teknik kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Jumlah populasi 748 orang. Pengambilan sampel melalui Simple Random Sampling dengan 30 responden, analisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial dengan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan, ada pengaruh penggunaan smartphone terhadap motivasi belajar siswa di masa pandemi COVID-19. Nilai thitung 3,336, ttabel 2,048 artinya thitung > ttabel kesimpulan H0 ditolak dan H1 dan H2 diterima artinya terdapat pengaruh positif penggunaan smartphone terhadap motivasi belajar siswa, karena penggunaan smartphone mampu mempengaruhi motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 28,4% dan selebihnya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Disimpulkan penggunaan smartphone memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. disarankan sekolah memberikan pelatihan kepada siswa terkait penggunaan smartphone.

Abstract

Sosialisasi dan edukasi pengelolaan keuangan kepada rumah tangga miskin Keluarga Penerima Manfaat (KPM) Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) sangat penting terutama pasca krisis pandemi Corona Virus Desease 2019 (Covid-19). Tujuan kegiatan sosialisasi dan edukasi ini untuk memberikan pemahaman dasar dan mengasah keterampilan dalam mengelola pendapatan dan pengeluaran kepada KPM PKH Kelurahan Nalu Kecamatan Baolan Kabupaten Tolitoli. Metode kegiatan dilakukan secara interaktif-partisipatif dengan melakukan dialog, tanya jawab, dan praktik mengelola keuangan keluarga sendiri. Peserta diikuti 93 orang yang merupakan KPM PKH Kelurahan Nalu. Kegiatan ini mendapat antusias dan respon yang baikdari peserta dan diharapkan dapat dilaksanakan berkelanjutan dengan melibatkan praktisi dan akedemisi sesuai keahlian.

Abstract

Pembelajaran dalam konteks pendidikan formal dapat berlangsung di lingkungan masyarakat dan lingkungan sekolah serta lingkungan keluarga yang berfariasi tingkat pendidikannya, bahkan ada yang tidak mengenyam pendidikan atau buta aksara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses belajar anak di lingkungan keluarga yang buta aksara, faktor penghambat proses belajar anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi dokumentasi dan studi kasus, penelitian berlokasi di Sekolah dasar negeri 3 Lakatan. Teknik pengumpulan data observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan orang tua siswa di SDN 3 Lakatan yang buta aksara cenderung sibuk bekerja untuk mencari nafkah , sehingga perhatian terhadap  proses belajar anak di rumah masih kurang.  Kurangnya dukungan, motivasi dari orang tua, sehingga anak yang bersekolah tidak memperoleh dukungan  fasilitas belajar seperti alat tulis maupun kebutuhan sekolah, sehingga memberi dampak anak sulit beradaptasi, kesulitan dalam menerima pembelajaran  di kelas. Dapat di simpulkan  bahwa anak yang memiliki  orang tua yang buta  tidak mendapatkan perhatian yang khusus dalam belajar di rumah dan kurangnya motivasi dari orang tua.

Abstract

This study was conducted to identify the differences between classes that implement the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model and classes that implement the Talking Stick model. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of the application of the Problem Based model and the application of the Talking Stick model of students at SDN Pembina Tolitoli, to determine the description of the speaking skills of students at SDN Pembina Tolitoli, to determine whether the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model and the Talking Stick model have a significant effect on improving the speaking skills of students at SDN Pembina Tolitoli, and to determine the differences in comparative results between the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model and the Talking Stick model on improving the speaking skills of students at SDN Pembina Tolitoli. The type of research used in this study is quantitative research using the pre-experimental design method with a one-shot case study design, which was carried out on students at SDN Pembina Tolitoli with a total population of 633 students. The research sample consisted of three classes, namely class VA with 30 students, class VB with 29 students, and class VC with 29 students, which were selected using purposive sampling. Data collection was done through observation and testing, and data analysis using SPSS 25 software. The results of the study showed that the significance value of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model was 0.212> 0.05 and the Talking Stick model was 0.000 <0.05. Thus, there is a significant influence where, Fcount> Ftable (41.765> 4.88) it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected which means that the independent variable affects the dependent variable.

Abstract

This study aims to compare the implementation of project-based learning models with guided inquiry learning models in improving students' understanding of science materials at SDN Pembina Tolitoli. The type of research used in this study is quantitative using the true experiment method of pretest-posttest type with a comparative study conducted on students of SDN Pembina Tolitoli with a total population of 633 students. The research sample consisted of three classes, namely class VI A with 28 students, class VI B with 30 students, and class VI C with 26 students selected using probability sampling. Data collection was carried out through observation and testing, and data analysis using SPSS 25 software. The results showed that the significance value of the project-based learning model (PJBL) was 0.737 <0.05 and the guided inquiry model was 0.906 <0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of the project-based learning model (PJBL) and the implementation of the guided inquiry model have been effectively given to classes VB and VC, the results of Indonesian language lessons of students of SDN Pembina Tolitoli and there are differences between classes that implement the project-based learning model (PJBL) and the implementation of the guided inquiry model where the results in the class implementing the project-based learning model (PJBL) are 88.86 while the implementation of the Guided Inquiry model is 88.92.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low literacy skills of students in Indonesia and the lack of understanding of the importance of literacy in Civics learning, especially in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. This curriculum demands a paradigm shift in learning, including Civics, by emphasising the development of holistic competencies. Literacy is important because it enables students to analyse information, think critically, and communicate effectively regarding civic issues. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving teachers and grade 1 students at SD Negeri Percontohan as research subjects. Data were collected through classroom observation, interviews with teachers and students, as well as document analysis such as lesson plans and teaching materials. The results showed that teachers have implemented various literacy-based learning strategies, such as the utilisation of various learning resources (books, picture stories, videos, and interactive games) and reading and writing activities that encourage students to explore the values of Pancasila. The implementation of these strategies had a positive impact on improving students' literacy skills, especially in terms of reading, writing, critical thinking and communication skills. However, this study also identified some challenges in implementing literacybased learning, such as limited learning resources relevant to students"˜ age and developmental level, some teachers"™ lack of understanding of the concept of literacy-based learning and students' learning habits that are still centred on teachers and textbooks.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the implementation of the Independent Learning Curriculum on Quadrilateral Material in Application in Everyday Life. Formulation of the problem in this research How to implement the independent learning curriculum on rectangular material in daily life applications at SDN 10 Tolitoli. This type of research is qualitative research using a descriptive approach where the research uses interview, documentation and observation methods to collect data. Respondents in this research were fourth grade home teachers and 3 students at SDN 10 Tolitoli. The results of research on the implementation of the Independent Learning Curriculum at SDN 10 Tolitoli showed that with an approach based on analyzing student needs, using relevant teaching tools, and integrating values. Pancasila values, learning quadrilateral material becomes more effective and applicable. Even though there has been significant progress, there is a need to continue to adapt and improve methods and support for students to ensure optimal achievement of learning objectives. It can be concluded that the implementation of the Independent Learning Curriculum on Quadrilateral Material in Daily Life Applications at SDN 10 Tolitoli is implemented by teachers have implemented it well.

Abstract

This qualitative phenomenological research examined the role of parents and teachers in supporting the development of public speaking soft skills of fourth grade students of SDN Malulu, Tolitoli Regency.The study found two problems: students' lack of confidence in expressing their opinions and the lack of family support in communication.The study involved five participants: one homeroom teacher, two students (male and female), and two parents. The data were collected through various means, including observation, interviews, and documentation. These data were then analyzed using a variety of methods, including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing.The results of the study indicated that parents and teachers have important and complementary roles in supporting the development of public speaking soft skills in fourth grade students. Specifically, the findings showed that parents play a crucial role in fostering students' confidence and communication skills within the home environment. In contrast, teachers have a pivotal role in developing these skills through structured learning activities in the classroom.The collaboration between parents and teachers is found to be highly effective in nurturing students who possess both confidence and proficiency in public speaking. The comprehensive analysis of interviews and observations yielded a nuanced understanding of the contributions of parental and teacher support to students' development of social and public speaking skills.The findings of this study demonstrate the efficacy of parental and teacher support in fostering students' public speaking abilities, underscoring the significance of collaborative efforts in educational settings Keywords: Public Speaking, Teacher, The Role of Parents

Abstract

Low reading interest among fourth grade students in Indonesian language lessons at SDN Malangga Selatan is a common problem. Therefore, this study aims to examine the effectiveness of using Animaker multimedia to increase reading interest. The study used a quantitative pre-experiment method with a one-group pretest-posttest design on 20 students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation and testing and analyzed using a paired-sample t-test. The analysis revealed a statistically significant increase in reading interest (p < 0.05), evident in the increase of the students' average score from 66 to 80. This study concludes that Animaker multimedia is an effective learning tool for fostering students' interest in reading and is therefore recommended as a more engaging and motivational learning solution.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh penurunan motivasi siswa untuk menempuh pendidikan terutama di Sekolah Dasar yang terganggu oleh permasalahan ekonomi keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari stres ekonomi keluarga terhadap tingkat motivasi belajar siswa di SD Negeri 08 Biau, Kabupaten Buol. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Ex Post facto. Data pada penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada orang tua/wali siswa kelas 4, 5, dan 6 menggunakan teknik sampling insidental. Analisis data yang dilakukan menggunakan uji Spearman’s Rank, diperoleh nilai koefisien sebesar -0,363 dengan sig sebesar 0,002 < 0,05 artinya terdapat hubungan yang negatif. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji Kruskal-Wallis untuk melihat perbedaan tingkat motivasi belajar dilihat dari tingkat stres ekonomi keluarga, adapun hasil ujinya didapatkan nilai sig (p) sebesar 0,001 yang berarti terdapat perbedaan dalam tingkat motivasi belajar siswa. Untuk kelompok yang berbeda secara signifikan dilanjutkan dengan uji Games-Howell Post Hoc Comparisons, didapatkan dari nilai signifikan kelompok stres berat-ringan sebesar <0,001 terdapat perbedaan, selanjutnya kelompok stres berat-sedang sebesar 0,079 tidak terdapat perbedaan, kemudian kelompok stres ringan-sedang sebesar <0,001 terdapat perbedaan. Dialnjutkan dengan analisis regresi logistik ordinal didapatkan nilai sig 0,001<0,05 artinya terdapat pengaruh dengan koefisien regresi (estimate) -17,0 dan -18,0 yang berarti semakin berat tingkat stres ekonomi maka peluang siswa memiliki motivasi belajar yang tinggi sangat kecil. Dalam penelitian ini, stres ekonomi keluarga memiliki kontribusi sebesar 13,9% terhadap perbedaan tingkat motivasi belajar siswa.
